Studie z oblasti interkulturní psychologie zaměřené na otázku, jak sociální a kulturní prostředí ovlivňuje kognitivní procesy, obvykle srovnávají velmi odlišné kultury žijící ve vzdálených geografických lokalitách. Zjišťují, že příslušníci západní kultury obvykle preferují analytický způsob myšlení a jsou více nezávislí na kontextu, zatímco příslušníci východní kultury preferují spíše holistické způsoby myšlení a jsou pro ně důležitější vztahy mezi objekty a jejich kontextem. Odpovědná spotřeba je zahrnuta v jednom z Cílů udržitelného rozvoje (SDG 12), a tento cíl hraje důležitou roli i v rovině vzdělávací: UNESCO pro jeho naplnění stanovilo sadu vzdělávacích cílů pro různé úrovně vzdělávání. Je jimi soubor klíčových kompetencí pro SDG12, a jak je patrné z jejich analýzy, jsou tyto vzdělávací cíle rozloženy víceméně rovnoměrně mezi kognitivní, emocionální/sociální a behaviorální doménou učení, což je i znakem vzdělávání pro udržitelnost obecně. This paper presents concept of identity in the theory of international relations. Impact of identity in China-US relations was analysed by way of the critical discourse analysis. The analysis was conducted on the basis of texts from American and Chinese media that covered a certain moment in connection with Taiwan and Chinese currency. Lebanese society involves the Western, i.e. liberal and democratic model, and the Islamic model of society as umma. This Lebanese model originated and has been maintained as a compromise between communities of different value paradigms where no significant shift can be expected as Lebanon is situated at the borders of their territorial expansion. According to my analysis on the basis of theoretical concepts of neo-realism and social constructivism the external players prevail over the internal players. External players have essential influence on the development of Lebanese society and state.
