Im Rahmen der Arbeit werden Weich- und Hartbraunkohlen, Feinsteinkohle und der Siebdurchgang der Xylitaufbereitung eingesetzt. Daneben wird die Herstellung und Anwendung von qualitätsoptimierten kleinformatigen Briketts für traditionelle Kleinfeuerungsstätten mit feststehendem Rost und von großformatigen Briketts für Kaminöfen untersucht.

Die Korrosion des Feuerfestwerkstoffs durch flüssige Schlacke stellte in ausgemauerten Vergasern die Hauptschädigung dar. Daher werden derzeit hoch chromhaltige Keramiken eingesetzt, die eine geringe Löslichkeit in (alumo-)silikatischen Schmelzen aufweisen. Jedoch weisen auch diese Werkstoffe nur geringe Standzeiten von 3 bis 24 Monaten auf, sind zudem sehr teuer und müssen nach ihrem Einsatz z. Thermal co-processing of coal and biomass has been increasingly focused for its environmental and economic benefits. In the present work, the experimental and kinetic study on co-pyrolysis and co-gasification of Rhenish brown coal (HKN) and wheat straw (WS) was made. Consequential part elaborates on calculation of parallel connected heating surfaces following with a draft of regenerative air heater Ljungtröm. Conclusively, a calculation is carried out to verify the functionality of the serial connection of the heating surfaces.

This thesis is focused on design of black coal combustion boiler of 160t/h output. It consists of several parts. First, stechiometric calculations and enthalpy of air and gas are made, then heat balance of boiler and the boiler losses are calculated, and also thermal efficiency is determined. In next step, the combustion chamber is designed and its thermal calculation is made. Then, each of heating surfaces are designed, and in the last step overall energy balance of the boiler is checked. The scheme of pressure system and design documentation added.

The aim of this thesis is a draft of a gas steam boiler with steam output of 200 t/h. The first part of the paper provides stoichiometric calculations, then there are calculations of the dew point, boiler efficiency and the amount of gas. After that, calculations and a draft of the combustion chamber are carried out and then heat balances are drafted. In the following text, geometric properties of individual heat exchanging surfaces are drafted. At the end, there are control calculations. This thesis contains a blueprint of the gas steam boiler.

At present, people already fully aware of how expensive it is energy dependence on fossil fuels. Trying to reduce this dependence goes hand in hand with environmental limits, which restrict the production of dangerous compounds. Biomass is a fuel that does not create large amounts of sulfur and carbon dioxide generated during combustion is in a closed cycle. Different types of biomass have different calorific value, and therefore different demands on the quantity needed to produce MWh. It is therefore necessary to choose the fuel with regard to the availability of in the site.
