Abstract:
Spektrofotometer adalah sistem baku berbasis kolorimetri dalam pengukuran kadar Hemoglobin (Hb). Penggunaan <em>scanner </em>untuk mengukur kadar Hb berbasis kolorimetri telah dilakukan sebagai sistem alternatif. Kurva baku kanal warna <em>scanner</em> yang paling curam adalah <em>blue</em>. Perbandingan kurva baku spektrofotometer dengan kanal warna <em>blue </em>menunjukan nilai y = 0.3131x + 0.0565 dengan R<sup>2</sup> = 0.9954 dan angka konversi nilai absorbansi <em>desktop scanner </em>menjadi kadar Hb adalah 73.6. Hasil uji Pasangan T menghasilkan nilai p sebesar 0.325 atau tidak berbeda nyata pada p ˃ 0.05.

Penelitian tentang studi analisis kobalt secara kolorimetri dengan l-nitroso-2-naftol telah dilakukan. Reaksi pembentukan kompleks dilakukan pada pH 9. Hasil penelitian diperoleh kompteks kobalt yang terbentuk mempunyai bilangan koordinasi tiga. Kompleks yang terbentuk mengikuti alur Hukum Beer sampai konsentrasi 4·10-4 M. Adanya ion nikel dan ion besi masing-masing sampai konsentrasi 20 mg/L dan 5 mg/L, tidak memberikan gangguan analisis, sedangkan konsentrasi besi lebih besar dari 6 mg/L menyebabkan deviasi positif.

Uji sensor anion dilakukan dengan menambahkan anion F<sup>-</sup>, Cl<sup>-</sup>, Br<sup>-</sup>, I<sup>-</sup>, CN<sup>-</sup>, SO<sub>4</sub><sup>2-</sup>, CO<sub>3</sub><sup>2-</sup>, CH<sub>3</sub>COO<sup>-</sup> dan H<sub>2</sub>PO<sub>4</sub><sup>-</sup> dalam pelarut asetonitril. Uji limit deteksi reseptor (<em>E</em>)-4-((2-(2,4-<em>dinitrophenyl</em>)<em>hydrazineylidene</em>)<em>methyl</em>)-2-<em>methoxyphenol</em> terhadap anion sianida dilakukan dalam pelarut asetonitril. Hasil uji sensor anion menunjukan bahwa reseptor selektif terhadap anion sianida dengan menghasilkan perubahan warna dari kuning ke merah. Hasil analisa dengan spektrofotometer UV-Vis reseptor memberikan perubahan panjang gelombang dari 395 nm menjadi 472 nm pada penambahan anion sianida. Reseptor (<em>E</em>)-4-((2-(2,4-<em>dinitrophenyl</em>)<em>hydrazineylidene</em>)<em>methyl</em>)-2-<em>methoxyphenol</em> dapat mendeteksi anion CN- dengan limit deteksi sebesar 7 mM.</p><p> </p><p><strong>A Hydrazone Compound from Vanillin-DNPH as Colorimetric Sensor of Cyanide Anion</strong><strong>.</strong> A hydrazone compound (<em>E</em>)-4-((2-(2,4-dinitrophenyl)hydrazineylidene)methyl)-2-methoxyphenol has been synthesized from vanillin and 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine (DNPH). The anion sensor study were done by adding Br<sup>-</sup><sub>, </sub>CN<sup>-</sup>, F<sup>-</sup>, SO<sub>4</sub><sup>2-</sup><sub>, </sub>Cl<sup>-</sup>, I<sup>-</sup> , CO<sub>3</sub><sup>2-</sup>, CH<sub>3</sub>COO<sup>-</sup> and H<sub>2</sub>PO<sub>4</sub><sup>-</sup> anion in acetonitrile solvent. The detection limit study of receptor <em>E</em>)-4-((2-(2,4-dinitrophenyl)hydrazineylidene)methyl)-2-methoxyphenol for cyanide anion was carried out in acetonitrile. The result of anion sensor study shows that the receptor was selective to cyanide anion by providing change of color from yellow to red. The analysis result using spectrophotometer ultraviolet-visible of the receptor provided change of maximum wavelength from 395 nm to 472 nm when the cyanide anion was added. Receptor (<em>E</em>)-4-((2-(2,4-dinitrophenyl) hydrazineylidene)methyl)-2-methoxyphenol can detect CN<sup>-</sup> with limit of detection 7 mM.</p><div><span><br /></span></div>

Warna merupakan salah satu parameter mutu penting dari konsentrat apel. Teknologi kamera smartphone yang semakin akurat dan mudah dioperasikan berpotensi untuk mengukur warna konsentrat apel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penggunaan kamera smartphone Android dalam mengukur perubahan warna model konsentrat apel dan pendugaan umur simpan konsentrat apel. Sampel konsentrat apel disimpan pada suhu 8, 15, dan 35 °C masing-masing selama 25, 20, dan 14 hari. Nilai warna L*, a*, dan b* dari kolorimetri dibandingkan dengan nilai warna R’, G’, dan B’ kamera. Nilai warna relatif (𝓇, ℊ, dan 𝒷) digunakan untuk memperoleh hasil pengukuran warna dari kamera yang lebih akurat. Nilai R’ pada kamera memiliki korelasi tertinggi dengan nilai L* kolorimetri pada pengukuran model konsentrat (r=0,986). Nilai 𝓇 sebagai turunan nilai R’ dapat menurunkan simpangan baku dari 4,66% menjadi 1,36%. Model Arrhenius dari nilai 𝓇 memberikan prediksi umur simpan 16,7 minggu yang mendekati prediksi dari nilai L* (17,2 minggu) pada suhu 25 °C.

Abstract:
Daun Guazuma ulmifolia telah digunakan secara tradisional untuk antiobesitas. Aktivitas antiobesitas dipengaruhi oleh kandungan senyawa bioaktif. Ekstraksi adalah langkah utama untuk mendapatkan senyawa bioaktif. Metode dan pelarut ekstraksi merupakan faktor penting untuk menghasilkan ekstrak dengan jumlah kandungan senyawa aktif yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kadar fenol dan flavonoid total dari ekstrak etanol, rebusan, dan infusa daun G. ulmifolia serta untuk menentukan aktivitas antioksidan serta antilipase. Metode Folin-Ciocalteu digunakan untuk menentukan kadar fenol total, sedangkan penentuan kadar flavonoid total dilakukan menggunakan uji kolorimetri aluminium klorida. Aktivitas antioksidan ditentukan dengan metode 2,2-difenil-1-pikrillhidrazil (DPPH), dan aktivitas antilipase dikuantifikasi secara kolorimetri berdasarkan pelepasan p-nitrofenol dari substrat p-nitrofenil butirat (p-NPB). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rebusan memiliki rendemen tertinggi (10,50%). Sebaliknya, ekstrak etanol menunjukkan total kandungan fenolik tertinggi (67,761 ± 1,811 mg GAE/g ekstrak) dan total kandungan flavonoid tertinggi (124,643 ± 1,033 mg QE/g ekstrak). Ekstrak yang sama juga menunjukkan aktivitas antioksidan dan aktivitas antilipase tertinggi (IC50 berturut-turut 6,544 ± 0,271 μg/mL dan 307,280 ± 21,430 μg/mL).

Kehadiran bakteri metanotrof pada daerah rhizosfer padi sangat dibutuhkan untuk mereduksi metan yang dihasilkan oleh bakteri metanogen, sehingga tidak terjadi emisi gas metan ke atmosfer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan koleksi dan seleksi bakteri methanotrof asal rhizosfer tanaman padi yang mampu menghasilkan enzim metan monooksigenase. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak pada tiga fase pertumbuhan tanaman padi yaitu fase vegetatif, reproduktif dan pematangan. Koleksi isolat dilakukan dengan metode isolasi dan pemurnian. Seleksi isolat dilakukan dengan pengujian reaksi gram, motil, indol, aerob/anaerob dan aktivitas enzim monooksigenase dianalisis dengan metode kolorimetrik. Hasil penelitian diperoleh 52 koleksi isolat bakteri. Berdasarkan reaksi gram terseleksi 22 isolat gram negatif, berdasarkan analisis kolorimetrik diperoleh 10 isolat menghasilkan enzim metan monooksigenase.

Abstract:
Rabies is an infectious disease, zoonotic, caused by virus from the genus Lyssa virus and generally transmitted by the bite of rabid animal, especially rabies infected dog. Rabies is preventable but is always fatal to humans if the central nervous system (CNS) is infected. Vaccination has been used as one of rabies prevention programmed. A total of 83 samples were tested using an Indirect ELISA (Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay) to identify post-vaccination rabies antibody titer. Antibody titres correlated with absorbance values and standard solutions concentrations. Absorbance value can be determined using ELISA reader and mobile phone camera. Absorbance were read at 450 nm and 620 nm as reference using ELISA reader and image from mobile phone camera using image processing software (ImageJ). The aim of this study is to compared between ELISA reader as gold standard and mobile phone camera through validity testing such sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy. There is no significant difference between gold standard and alternative test equipment. The mobile phone camera has sensitivity 98,6%, specificity 88.8 % and accuracy 97,5%. The image processing method using ELISA reader is relatively expensive and difficult to hold in laboratory with minimum funds. Image processing method using a mobile phone camera with ImageJ application is expected to be an alternative tool to read the result of ELISA.

Abstract:
This Master’s thesis deals with assembling of a colorimeter using NFC technology. The theoretical part introduces the principles of colorimetric measurement, calibration curve, and important physical quantities. Further, the principle of NFC technology, its architecture, and division of NFC devices are described. The goal of the practical part is to propose a structural design and software solution of a colorimeter. Particular emphasis is placed on the selection of the RGB sensor that is being tested and its results are being analyzed. The construction of electrical circuit and microprocessor control are being solved. The manuscript deals with the implementation of an application for the Android operating system, which serves as the user interface of the colorimeter. Obtaining data from the sensor and storing it in a memory of the NFC tag is provided by the Arduino platform. Issues that were encountered during the work are analyzed in the discussion.

Abstract:
This thesis deals with conformal geometric algebra CGA for colour image processing, particularly with colour segmentation. For this reason it is not sufficient to work in RGB colour space. It is more convenient to use a colour space called CIELAB. CIELAB is endowed by Euclidean metric corresponding with human perception of colours. Afterwards an algorithm for an object detection via CGA based on colour differences is included. The final part of the thesis deals with least squares fitting of sphere to points using CGA. The sphere fitting is then used to adjust colour differences in an image to improve the algorithm for an object detection.

Abstract:
Gegenstand der vorliegenden Dissertation ist die Entwicklung von Kalibrierverfahren und Algorithmen zur Bildverarbeitung im Kontext von Multiprojektorsystemen mit dem Ziel, die Einsatzmöglichkeiten von derartigen Anlagen zu erweitern und die Nutzerakzeptanz solcher Systeme zu steigern. Die Arbeit konzentriert sich dabei insbesondere auf (annähernd) planare Mehrsegment-Projektionsanlagen, die aus preisgünstigen, nicht speziell für den Visualisierungbereich konzipierten Consumer- und Office-Projektoren aufgebaut werden. Im ersten Teil der Arbeit werden bestehende Verfahren zur geometrischen Kalibrierung, zum Edge-Blending sowie zur Helligkeits- und Farbanpassung auf ihre Eignung im Hinblick auf die Anforderungen untersucht und Erweiterungen entwickelt. Für die kamerabasierte Geometrie- Kalibrierung wird mit Lininenpattern gearbeitet, wobei ein effizienter rekursiver Algorithmus zur Berechnung der Schnittpunkte bei leicht gekrümmten Oberflächen vorgestellt wird. Für das Edge-Blending wird ein generalisiertes Modell entwickelt, das mehrere bestehende Ansätze kombiniert und erweitert. Die vorgenommene Modifikation der Distanzfunktion erlaubt insbesondere die bessere Steuerung des Helligkeitsverlaufs und ermöglicht weichere Übergänge an den Grenzen der Überlappungszonen. Es wird weiterhin gezeigt, dass das Edge-Blending mit bestehenden Ansätzen zum Ausgleich der Helligkeitsunterschiede wie Luminance Attenutation Maps kombiniert werden kann. Für die photometrische Kalibrierung ist die Kenntnis der Farb-Transferfunktion, also der Abbildung der Eingabe-Farbwerte auf die tatsächlich vom Projektor erzeugten Ausgaben, unerlässlich. Die herkömmlichen Ansätze betrachten dabei vorwiegend RGB-Projektoren, bei denen die dreidimensionale Transferfunktion in drei eindimensionale Funktionen für jeden Farbkanal zerlegt werden kann. Diese Annahme trifft jedoch auf die betrachteten Projektoren meist nicht zu. Insbesondere DLP-Projektoren mit Farbrad verfügen oft über zusätzliche Grundfarben, so dass der Farbraum deutlich von einem idealen RGB-Modell abweicht. In dieser Arbeit wird zunächst ein empirisches Modell einer Transferfunktion vorgestellt, das sich für derartige Projektoren besser eignet, allerdings die Helligkeit der Projektoren nicht vollständig ausnutzt. Im zweiten Teil der Arbeit wird ein kamerabasiertes Messverfahren entwickelt, mit dem direkt die dreidimensionale Farb-Transferfunktion ermittelt werden kann. Gegenüber bestehenden Verfahren werden tausende von Farbsamples gleichzeitig erfasst, so dass die erreichbare Sampledichte unter praxisrelevanten Messbedingungen von 17x17x17 auf 64x64x64 erhöht und damit die Qualität der photometrischen Kalibrierung signifikant gesteigert werden kann. Weiterhin wird ein Schnellverfahren entwickelt, dass die Messungsdauer bei 17x17x17 Samples von mehreren Stunden mit bisherigen Verfahren auf weniger als 30 Minuten reduziert. Im dritten Teil werden Algorithmen zur effizienten Bildverarbeitung entwickelt, die der GPU-basierten Anwendung der Kalibrierparameter auf die darzustellenden Bilddaten in Echtzeit dienen. Dabei werden die Möglichkeiten zur Vermeidung redundanter Berechnungsschritte beim Einsatz Stereoskopie-fähiger Projektoren ausgenutzt. Weiterhin wird das eigentliche Kalibrierverfahren effizient mit Verfahren zur Konvertierung von stereoskopischen Bildverfahren kombiniert. Es wird gezeigt, dass ein einzelner PC aus Standardkomponenten zur Ansteuerung einer Mehrsegment-Projektionsanlage mit bis zu 6 Projektoren ausreicht. Abstract:
The thesis deals with colors - their representation in digital devices and how to provide the best color preservation accross different devices. In the first part of the work, the knowledge of colors and human vision is briefly summarized. Then color models and color spaces are elaborated, mainly those device independent. Spectrum of colors viewable or printable on a device - the gamut - is different for every device and there's a need of precise reproduction or record of color. That's why the system of color management is described further and especially the gamut mapping approaches and algorithms are mentioned. In the second part of the work, the implementation of how two algorithms of color gamut mapping (HPMINDE, SCLIP) can be implemented in MATLAB is described. In the third and last part of the work, the results of implemented algorithms are presented and discussed. These results are compared to results of commonly used color gamut mapping technique (Adobe Photoshop).

Abstract:
This diploma thesis deals with characterization of sea buckthorn oil. The sea buckthorn oil is frequently used as a food supplement and in dermatology. The first part summarizes the literature on sea buckthorn oil and its biological effects. In the experimental part, the thesis deals with the comparison of three commercially available preparates of sea buckthorn oils. We employed the basic characteristics of these oils, including the determination of peroxide value, iodine value, saponification value and acid value using titration methods. Spectroscopic measurements were used to further characterize the oils. The comparised sea buckthorn oil samples differed strongly in the peroxide value and in the stability during storage. In this respect, the oil from Relikt - Art Engel company had significantly lower value (2,95 mekv/kg) compared to other two oil samples studied from Elith Phito and Virde companies with peroxide values 12,68 and 8,97 mekv/kg. This value was also much less prone to increase during storage. A similar difference was also found in spectral and colorimetric characteristics of the oil samples, where this oil displayed much less optical density then the other two samples. This might be a result of different technology used for production of oils, or it may reflect some adulteration,...
