Der Blick in die sowjetischen Zwangsarbeitslager der 1920er bis 1950er Jahre zeigt, dass dort sehr viele Musiker inhaftiert waren, unter ihnen auch bedeutende Komponisten. Zu den letzteren gehört Sergej Protopopov (1893-1954), über den in der Forschung bislang nur wenig bekannt war. Die neuen Erkenntnisse über sein Leben und Werk lassen die These zu, dass dieser Komponist durch die Lagerhaft im Gulag zum Schweigen gebracht wurde. 1997 wurde der in der Forschungsliteratur nur wenig präsente Kirchenmusiker, Komponist und Gelegenheitsdichter Michael Hahn von Eberhard Müller als Schütz-Schüler eingeordnet. Ausgehend von diesem Befund sollen die nachweisbaren Stationen des Komponisten anhand seiner Werke und weiterer Dokumente nachgezeichnet werden und damit gleichzeitig ein Schlaglicht auf das weitgehend unbekannte Musikleben der Ostseestadt Narva um 1670 geworfen werden.

Von dem Leipziger Dichter Christian Friedrich Henrici, genannt Picander sind 124 Musiktexte überliefert. Sie wurden fast alle für ganz konkrete Anlässe kirchlicher und weltlicher Art verfaßt und demnach auch vertont und aufgeführt, obwohl - mit nur einer Ausnahme - kein Komponist genannt wird. Bei einigen ist jedoch Johann Sebastian Bach als Komponist zu identifizieren. Es wird der Frage nachgegangen, inwieweit die Picander-Libretti für den Thomaskantor bestimmt waren.

Weit vor den Faust-Opern der romantischen Ära schrieb Johann Ignaz Walter seine Oper "Fausts Wanderungen und Höllenfahrt". Kann dieses Werk, später unter neuem Titel überarbeitet, als "erste Faust-Oper" gelten? Diese Arbeit erschließt vorhandene Quellen zu Walters Leben und seinem Opernwerk. Der Waltersche Faust wird inhaltlich und überlieferungsgeschichtlich vorgestellt. So ergibt sich eine Perspektive auf ein Opernwerk, das eine durchaus lohnende Wiederentdeckung für das heutige Opernrepertoire darstellt.

ZusammenfassungWas ist eine „Oper in 8 Räumen“? So nämlich lautet der Untertitel von Hannes Seidls im Sommer 2021 in der basis in Frankfurt am Main realisiertem Projekt We Can Be Heroes. Dass es sich dabei um eine Art Crossover mit unklarer disziplinärer Zugehörigkeit handelt, kann bereits diesem Titel und den äußeren Daten abgelesen werden: Die basis ist eine „Produktions- und Ausstellungsplattform“, also eine Institution der bildenden Kunst, Seidl ist Komponist, der in den vergangenen Jahren immer wieder mit installativen und partizipativen Arbeiten hervorgetreten ist (das Multimediale versteht sich mittlerweile beinahe von selbst). Der Selbstbeschreibung des Projekts zufolge handelt es sich um eine Oper, die nicht auf einer Bühne stattfindet, sondern begehbar ist, die nicht durch ihren Apparat definiert ist und in der das Publikum selbst im Mittelpunkt steht. Seidl selbst tritt hier gerade nicht als Komponist im engeren Sinne in Erscheinung, sondern als eine Art künstlerischer Kurator, der sieben andere Komponist*innen und Klangkünstler*innen eingeladen hat, je einen Raum zu gestalten. Er definiert den Rahmen der Arbeit, stellt die Leitfragen, koordiniert die einzelnen Arbeiten und arbeitet an ihrer Realisierung mit.

The research project “Beethovens Werkstatt” is intended as a contribution to basic musicological research. Methods, concepts and digital components developed in this project using the example of Beethoven are meant to be transferable to other composers. In my paper, I choose Robert Schumann as an example to test this transferability. Concepts that were developed in the course of the first module of “Beethovens Werkstatt” aim at the reconstruction and digital representation of genetic variants. Knjižnica React omogoča implementacijo sodobnih interaktivnih spletnih aplikacij. Temelji na komponentah, ki predstavljajo vizualne elemente v aplikaciji. Komponente se povezujejo v hierarhijo in definirajo logiko ter vizualno predstavitev aplikacije. Skozi proces razvoja lahko večanje števila komponent in njihove kompleksnosti vodita v upočasnjeno delovanje aplikacije. Havsbaserad vindkraft är en viktig komponent i omställningen till förnybar energi för att bemöta den globala klimatkrisen. För att bättre förstå förutsättningarna för utbyggnad av havsbaserad vindkraft behövs kunskap om möjligheter, hinder och åtgärder för samexistens mellan vindkraft och andra behov till havs. Den här rapporten presenterar resultat från en litteraturanalys för att belysa nuvarande kunskapsläge om samexistens mellan havsbaserad vindkraft och yrkesfiske, vattenbruk respektive naturvård.
