Abstract:
This thesis deals with communication process among staff in a nursing home (the facility requested not to be named). It deals as well with implementing change in the structure of multidisciplinary staff meeting in the same nursing home to improve team cooperation and to fulfill Standards for Quality in Social Services. In four chapters of the theoretical part, author follows introduction to the topic of human communication and intracompany communication to determine researched domain. For the same reason author later deals with subject of teams, it's creation, leadership and team roles. Third chapter pursues topic of meetings, their benefit, types and rules how to conduct an effective meeting. Theoretical part ends with contextualization of communication process within the Standards for Quality in Social Services. Practical part contains diagnostics of communication process among staff in a nursing home that showed the need to conduct change in the structure of multidisciplinary staff meeting. Other chapters deal with the process of the change from the stage of laying out the goal of the change, over diagnosis of the actual state of the meeting with the use of qualitative research to the phase of a creation of a new methodic directive for multidisciplinary staff meeting. Abstract:
The thesis discusses how information and communication technologies (ICT or IT), nowadays transforms the form of health and social services. The specific arguments and social events are described, that leads today's health and social services closer to the use of ICT, influence and changes it. The work describes the latest trends linking ICT and social and health services in the areas of e-health, telemedicine, mobile health and assistive technologies. Specific tools and equipment and their practical use are presented. The practical part focuses on the introduction of specific- gadgets tablet care in caring for the elderly. Through direct interviews with caregivers and seniors is investigated how new technology is perceived by caregivers and seniors, how new technology equipment to care are introduced, and what positive and negative impact are the ICT has for facilities and the elderly. Abstract:
The thesis focuses on mapping and analysis of the current functioning of supervision in social services in the region of Liberec. The research aspires to find answers to the question of the scope of supervision in the social services in the given region and what type of supervision prevails in these facilities. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on collection and classification of generally available documents on supervision in the Czech Republic. It deals with the definition of the term supervision and the historical context of its creation in the field of social services. This part of the thesis describes the basic functions of supervision, structure of the supervisory process and its types. It draws the basic conditions of a successful introduction of supervision in organisations and in this context deals with the current issue of supervisions as a part of the quality standards of social services. The aim of the theoretical part is to create theoretical starting points for the practical research and determination of hypotheses. The practical part aspires to map the current situation in the supervisory activities in the field of social services. The research was carried on in the region of Liberec in social services facilities. The practical part included a preliminary research performed in the form of a controlled interview with five supervisors. The research itself had a form of a questionnaire. The aim was to find out whether supervision works in the facilities, what is the most frequent topic of the current supervision, how the workers conceive supervision and what type of supervision prevails in the organisations. Secondarily, the research focused on the analysis of the used from of supervision, frequency of supervisory meetings and review of the supervision by the workers. A partial goal of the research was to find out how the head workers cope with the introduction of supervision at their workplaces and how they motivate their employees to participate in the supervision. The research in the region of Liberec unquestionably showed that supervision has been slowly bringing itself to the attention of the workers in the field of social services. Though institutions with supervision introduced at the workplaces prevail in this field, there are still many organisations in which supervision has not been carried on due to various reasons. It has turned out that in facilities with a functioning supervision, it is usually conceived as one of the possible ways how to support the workers in the assisting professions and its presence in the organisation has been considered beneficial. The research maps opinions and attitudes of respondents to a ``good{\crqq} supervisor and ethical principles in supervision accompanied by practical instructions and recommendations.

Abstract:
The thesis focuses on the issues of Quality Standards and the process of their application in the residential services in Vysočina region. The aim of my thesis is to map the present situation concerning the introduction of Quality Standards in social services in residential facilities in Vysočina region. The introductory theoretical part of my thesis contains sections related to social services. Definitions of basic concepts and sections which are related to chosen topic are explained here. It also contains the description of settings and context of the work. In the practical part the subject is narrowed to the topic of introducing Quality Standards in social services in relation to providers of social services, and to old people{\crq}s and handicapped people{\crq}s homes and special treatment facilities. The results of a questionnaire inquiry, conversations with directors of organizations and workers in direct care are presented and compared. This process is interlaced with the analysis of documents used in filling out the questionnaire that have a direct connection to fulfilling the criteria of social services quality. In the discussion and summary the essential research results are discussed. In relation to introducing Quality Standards in social services it will be necessary to change especially the attitude to users of social services. An important landmark here is the legal codification of Quality Standards in social services in relation to the Social Services Act.

This graduation thesis is concerned with the topic of quality standards in social care and the formation process of writen quality standards in some organizations in the civic sector, which offer social services. The theoretical section of this thesis concerns new legal arrangement of social services, their principles and international connections; as well as standards of quality of themselves and of the different tools which are related to them, for example inspection of the quality in social services, registration of providers and education of emploees in social care services. The empirical section deals with evaluation of the research focused on the process of formatting written quality standards in organizations which were under investigation and on the presentation of obtained data which were gained, especially by observation and questionnaire inquiry in organizations.

The quality of a communication in every organization is shown in a level of management and influence the relationship among co-workers. All at once has an impact to general organization habit and undermines the processes. Leaving the old concept of a management of organization, considering communication as a direction flow, leads to raise an awareness of a communication process itself as well as of its conditions. The diagnostic helps to recognize the current situation and identify the problematic processes displayed in a communication process flow. The theoretical part of this dissertation is devoted to the topic of an Organization and its development with reference to communication. This supports the empirical part of the dissertation where the diagnostic of an organization realized in non-profit market segment organization is presented. The research work is focusing on two communication layers and brings the knowledge of either a communication process or its significant aspects as of management, organizing, planning and working processes. The recommendation for either optimization or change follows after identifying the problematic processes of a communication.
