Något som inte studerats tidigare i större utsträckning är hur olika grundkonstruktioner i anslutning mellan bostäder klarar stå emot ljudspridning i form av flanktransmission. Det finns troligtvis ett mörkertal för bostäder på bottenvåning i anslutning till grunden som inte uppfyller ljudkraven. Detta arbete genomförs på uppdrag av Skara Sommarland. Arbetet är till stor del baserat på att utföra en jämförande studie mellan två hjulaxlar till en åkattraktion. Den befintliga axeln består av tre delar, två axelpar och ett centerfäste, medan den nya designen av axeln enbart består av en del. Den befintliga axelns ändar som kopplas in i centerinfästningen utsätts för onödigt slitage. Arbetet belyser även orsaken som leder till nötningen samt möjligheter att minska nötningen. <p> </p><p>Nollvisionen innebär att ingen människa ska dödas eller skadas svårt i trafiken. Utifrån detta har riktlinjer tagits fram att fordons hastighet bör begränsas till 30 km/h där oskyddade trafikanter kan bli påkörda. Det faktum att fordon inte håller hastigheten har gett upphov till olika fartdämpande åtgärder för att tvinga förarna att sänka hastigheten och på så sätt rädda liv.</p><p>Syftet med examensarbetet har varit att ta fram en konstruktionslösning som sänker hastigheten på fordon, uppfyller kraven som ställs och kommer till rätta med problemen som de nuvarande lösningarna har.

The task for this thesis is to design a tool that is used to cut-out preforms of thermoplastic adhesive and also to make an estimate of costs for the stamping tool. The tool is used in the repair process at the MCM production line. The result of gathered information has affected how the design of the stamping tool has developed.
