The main aim of the work is the conversion of the non-functional industrial site of the former canning factory and re-engagement of unused and unattractive territory into life city cycle - new life - new energy. The conversion consists of restoring a former canning factory building to the city brewery and restoring a former administrative building to a kindergarten. The brewery is complemented by services such as a beer bath, a beer museum, a beer restaurant and a hotel. The aim of the brewery is to revive the tradition of brewing in the region and to restore its industrial and cultural heritage. To connect it with the city not only physically but also socially, while supporting the untapped potential of tourism development. The region has long been struggling with a shortage of nursery schools. The original administrative building from 1902, which is currently almost unused and depreciated, has a favorable location in terms of availability and environment for primary education of children - connection with the park and the football field, which is also closely cooperating with kindergartens. The concept supports and benefits from the urban design of the city's revitalization of the adjacent sports and recreation zone, which is already under way. I see the site conversion as a stage of completing this section of the city.

The area is located in the southern part of the castle complex in Zdar, land in an urban zone. The original function of the castle in Zdar was a Cistercian monastery, founded 02.05.1252, which is credited with the expansion of the region. The castle is close to important UNESCO World Heritage Site - Pilgrimage church of the John of Nepomuk on the Green hill, which is a prerequisite for tourism in the region. The architectural design is based on the idea of recovery of unused buildings for the benefit of tourism on the one hand and on the other hand, it seeks to enrich local communities and the region. Suggest a feature builds on the newly created Museum of the new generation, which represents the potential of tourism. The draft proposal seeks to complete the missing and necessary functions in the area while trying to build on the tradition and the original object function.

Táto práca sa zaoberá návrhom a implementáciou nástroja, ktorý umožní používať klasické 3D OpenGL aplikácie na tzv. autostereoskopických displayoch s plným využitím ich hĺbkových možností a s minimálnym zásahom od užívateľa. Nástrojom je konverzná vrstva, ktorá umožní transparentne beh OpenGL aplikácií s interným rozšírením o vykreslenie z viacerých pohľadov vo formáte, vhodnom pre 3D display. Motiváciou tejto diplomovej práce je potenciálne rozšírenie tzv. autostereskopických displayov, ktoré je v súčasnosti závislé na cene a dostupnosti špecializovaných aplikácií pre tieto displaye. Text práce sa zaoberá dizajnom takejto vrstvy z pohľadu nutných API volaní, ktoré je potrebné korektne prepísať, aby aplikácie, vytvorené pomocou jednotlivých verzii štandardu OpenGL, pracovali správne, ako aj popisom problémov, ktoré vznikajú použitím rôznych vykreslovacích techník, a ktoré sú motiváciou pre komplexnejšie chovanie nástroja. Na záver práce sú ukážky konverzie programov, dopad na výkonnosť, ako aj identifikácia nedostatkov konverznej vrstvy s návrhmi možných riešení pre ďalší vývoj.

The content of this diploma thesis is an urban study with the architectural details of the former Bata Industrial Park in Partizánske, and a particular conversion program for the building. My goal was to find a suitable concept for converting building no. 61 with respect to the city, to the people living in it, and to reintegrate into the life of a building that is empty today, unused and dilapidated. The goal was not to forcefully fill the functions of the building, but in successive steps and phases to find a solution how to reuse the building and to point to the factory as a element of the city's foundation and also to highlight the unique architecture of the Baťa period.

This masters thesis is focused around the comparison of time dependent video grayscale conversion methods based on a user experiment. The test methodology is based on the pairwise comparison method 2AFC. It is composed of two test variants: a test with a reference video and a test without a reference video. The coefficients of agreement, consistency and correlation are utilized in the result analysis. The testing was done on 60 subjects which have done 7200 pairwise comparisons. The test results show that the time dependent method Hu14 is the most universal. Time dependent method Kim09 was bested by some non-dependent methods. The results also indicate that there is some correlation between the two test variants and that the choice of the input video can have impact on the method performance. The main contribution of this thesis is that non-dependent methods can under certain circumstances rival the performance of dependent methods and that the addition of a reference video did not have a meaningful impact on the test subjects judgements.

The main objective of the master’s thesis is to study the influence of phosphate coating structure on the mechanical properties of screw connection. The theoretical part describes the conventional phosphating process and it is followed by an analysis of current knowledge of phosphating technology. Experiments are carried out on screw valves mounted to a high pressure diesel pump by Bosch Diesel s.r.o., made of unalloyed carbon steel. To investigate the effect of the structure on the connection sealing, twelve kinds of phosphate coatings varying in one process parameter were prepared. The monitored parameters determining the phosphate structure are – type of phosphate and activation bath, its temperature and concentration and time of immersion. The sealing connection is examined during simulated assembly process by angle controlled tightening while measuring torque and permanent material deformation. Prepared layers are characterized by determination of weight per unit area and their structure observed by electron microscope.

The chapel of the former boromeian closter in Teplice is an important example of the work of monastery art school of benedictins of Beuron. The closter, today the building of the high school of Teplice, was built on the place of former city walls, connected by a prestigeous bouleward with the city center. Today, the building is surrounded by a non-valuable buildings, the bouleward is full of transport during the whole day and near is a highway. The old architectural structure was mainly destroyed and replaced by block of flats made of concrete. The topic ic getting the life back into the building and connect the building back into the public space, to join the "public=city" with the "private=school". The topic is to gain back the dignity and certain monumentality. The topic is to create the space for school activities, workschops, meetings, exhibitions, happenings, and last, but not least, weddings. The high school students should be the future intelectual elity of the space and newly reconstructed space may has the power to reinforce their linkage with the place, which can possibly mean they will search for a job in Teplice after their university studies. I belive, that the architecture has the power to attach the people to the space and to establish the genius loci. And such an opening of the space deserve the gymnasium and the chapel (which is not known to the public in Teplice) 20 years after the Velvet revolution, which itselves, was an opening of the space on the level of politics.

The subject of my diploma project is reconversion of a gasholder placed in Ostrava Vitkovice. The gasholder is noted as national culture heritage and is strongly contaminated. The concept is following the functional structure of the objects around and counts with their new use. The gasholder is placed in the middle of the area and lays on the crossing of conjuction of the main dominant s of the area. These cojuctions create streets which meet in the middle of the gasholder and create the square. The gasholder has now two faces, the old one faces the area is monofunctional and the other, new one faced to the inside is polyfunctional. The square is covered by the existing roof construction and creates safe place full of nice views and visual conjunctions of the main dominants.

This diploma thesis aims to outline the possibilities of refurbishment of former brewery in Prostejov from 1897. The thesis includes stages of realisation. It describes demolitions of objects unsuitable for conversion, new access to the area with pedestrian bridge over Hloucela river and gradual integration of the area into the city life to the rest of the city. In the area of the former brewery there are 4 buildings left from the former ones – main building of the brewery, stables, bottling plant and the former owner’s villa. The thesis includes the refurbishment of three of them. The villa remains unchanged and is used as an apartment house as today. The coworking center, multifunctional hall, bistro, shopping arcade, office spaces, six housing units, sports hall and kindergarten are gradually newly implemented to the area. The project aims to create place for living, working and leisure activities at the same time which would be suitable for wide range of people.

The goal of this dissertation is to implement an application for ASP to ASPX conversion. The ASP pages should be written in the VBScript language, the target language for ASPX will be C#. The application is developed on the .NET platform. The conversion process should be automatic. There should be no need to alter the converted files by a programmer. The first part of this dissertation introduces the whole problematic. It shows also current solutions. The next part is the analysis and the design of the application itself. The main part of this dissertation is the VBScript grammar conversion, problems while conversion and its solving.

This work defines religion market as a network industry when at a certain level of switching costs can lead in individual's locking up in the current group and thus prevent his conversion. First, the participating individual's utility function is defined. It is largely influenced by the probability which the individual attaches to the existence of God and afterlife. The study shows, that at sufficiently high level of social capital, it is advantageous to participate for rationally minded individuals although they are not believers. The empirical part demonstrates the effect of specific religious and social capitals on individual's decision to convert through the logit model. This influence is positive, compared to original expectations (i.e. the higher the social and specific capital, the higher the tendency to convert). It can confirm the thesis that the influence of these individual's growth of specific capital is causing higher demand for more strict organizations which eliminate free-riders and provide higher social capital.

Darbą sudaro įvadas, 3 dalys, išvados ir priedai. Pirmojoje darbo dalyje nagrinėjama su konversija susijusių Europos organizacijų ir JAV gynybos departamento parengta medžiaga bei kiti dokumentai apie XIX–XX a. karinių teritorijų vertę ir turistinį potencialą, jų konversijos teikiamas galimybes, konversijos dalyvius, jos valdymo struktūrą, finansavimo mechanizmus ir specifines marketingo strategijas, paramą teikiančias organizacijas, konversijos modelius. Antrojoje dalyje informacija apibendrinama ir papildoma bei suformuojamas konversijos paramos informacinės sistemos modelis. Trečiojoje dalyje, naudojant daugiakriterinį vertinimo metodą „ARAS“, palyginami 29 įgyvendinti konversijos projektai. Darbo apimtis – 129p. su priedais. Darbe yra 36 paveikslai, 31 lentelė, 97 bibliografiniai šaltiniai, 3 priedai.Abandoned military sites is an important issue in whole Eastern Europe as after the Cold War here many military objects have been desolated. The conversion of these sites is studied in the master thesis. The paper consists of an introduction, 3 chapters, conclusions and annexes. In the first chapter the publications of European conversion organisations and USA department of defence are researched besides the other relevant documents related to XIXth–XXth c. military sites value, touristic potential, possibilities for conversion, conversion actors, management structure, financing mechanisms, specific marketing strategies, supporting organisations and conversion models. In the second chapter the information is colligated and accessed and a new model for a supporting conversion database is formed. In the third chapter the Additive Ratio Assessment (Aras) Method in Multicriteria Decision-Making is applied to compare 29 realised conversion projects. Paper has 129 pages (annexes included), 36 pictures, 31 tables, 97 bibliographical sources, 3 annexes.

Aim of this study is to improve corrosion resistance of magnesium alloy AZ91 by conversion coatings. Influence of alloy microstructure on conversion coating growth and corrosion resistance was evaluated. Properties of pure magnesium and magnesium alloy AZ91 as well as the influence of alloying elements on properties of this alloy are described in theoretical part. Recent results of corrosion protection by conversion coatings on AZ type magnesium alloys are summarised in recherché part. Practical part focuses on preparation of hexavalent chromium based conversion coating and phosphate-permanganate based conversion coating on as cast AZ91 magnesium alloy, these coatings were subsequently applied on annealed AZ91 magnesium alloy. Corrosion protection of the coatings prepared on as cast and annealed alloy was evaluated by potentiodynamic measurements and testing in neutral salt spray. Furthermore the influence of plasma activation on phosphate-permanganate coating surface was studied.

The aim of this thesis was introducing the options of conversion between OTDM and WDM technologies. Since this issue is rather extensive, first of all the principle of optical transmission system is described. One chapter presents the effects influencing the optical transmissions. Material absorption, linear and nonlinear scattering and bending losses are mentioned in terms of fiber losses, followed by description of waveguide, chromatic and polarization-mode dispersion of optical fibers. Last part of the chapter presents nonlinear effects, including self-phase modulation, cross-phase modulation and four-wave mixing. The practical part of the thesis deals with multichannel systems. The principles of frequency, space a hybrid multiplexing are explained. Multichannel systems with optical time domain multiplexing and waveguide multiplexing are described in detail and compared. The elements of the transmission chain of multiplex, such as different types of lasers, detectors, modulators, optical amplifiers, splitters, couplers, MUX and DEMUX are discussed. The next part of the thesis was aimed at suggesting the model of mutual conversion between OTDM and WDM systems. First of all, the previously performed experiments concerning the conversion between OTDM and WTM were evaluated. Then the model of OTDM/WDM/OTDM conversion was designed, with explanation of its parts and their function. The general recommendations for practical implementation were are also included. Due to the limited amount of time reserved for access to the simulation program Optsim, the simulations were performed only for certain parts of the proposed conversion model. At the end of the thesis, the proposed model is evaluated.

This thesis deals with conversion of text documents from the format of so called formatting objects (XSL FO) to OpenDocument format (ODF). This conversion can be useful e. g. for distribution, printing or additional modification of a document in a text editor which supports ODF (e. g. OpenOffice). The thesis starts with description of both formats and it mentions basic elements that the formats offer for defining a text document. A comparison of both formats and description of possibilities of converting documents from XSL FO to ODF follows right after. The proved-by-practise and widely available XSLT transformation is chosen for the conversion implementation. It is illustrated on a sample application which enables to launch the conversion from an internet browser, from OpenOffice or from a command line.

Baigiamajame magistro darbe nagrinėjama Vilniaus Paupio ir Palaujos istorinio priemiesčio urbanistinė erdvinė struktūra ir su ja susijusios urbanistinės plėtros problemos. Tyrinėjama Vilniaus centrinės dalies kokybinė funkcinių-kompozicinių urbanizacijos branduolių sistemos plėtra. Apžvelgiama Paupio ir Plaujos teritorijos istorinė raida, identifikuojami esami vertingi struktūros elementai ir lokalizuojamos rekonstrukcijos zonos, vertinamas galimos plėtros poveikis vizualiniam Vilniaus miesto centrinės dalies identitetui. Remiantis atliktomis analizėmis ir teritorijos dalies kaip įvaizdžio mazgo potencialu, pateikiamos nagrinėjamos teritorijos erdvinio karkaso plėtros alternatyvos. Apžvelgus pramoninių teritorijų konversijos problematiką ir galimybes, pagal pasirinktą alternatyvą parengta Paupio ir Paplaujos teritorijos konversijos ir daugiafunkcinio centro koncepcija. Daugiafunkcinis centras sprendžiamas kaip funkcinė jungtis tarp dviejų struktūrinių urbanistinių teritorijų per fizinį barjerą – Zarasų gatvę. Darbo pabaigoje pateikiamos išvados ir siūlymai.The final thesis examines the historic suburb of Paupys and Paplauja in Vilnius urban spatial structure and the associated urban development problems. The qualitative, functional composite urbanized core system development of the central part of Vilnius is examined. A survey of historical urban development is made, identified existing valuable elements of spatial structure, localized areas of reconstruction, analyzed possibilities and results of further development, evaluated the potential development of the visual impact of the central part of Vilnius city identity. According to the analysis and part of the territory's image as a potential host, strategic alternatives of urban spatial structure development in the territory are proposed. A review of the problems and opportunities of conversion of industrial sites revealed the concept of the urban development of territory and multi-center. Further work was made on compositional quality of urban spaces and detailing of multi-center. In the end conclusions and proposals were made.

The protection of monuments in Slovakia is mostly concentrated on „classical“ examples of cultural heritage (castles, historical city centers). It is not paying much attention to industrial buildings, which are important documents of national development in European context from the era of industrialization. These buildings are often also on the edge of public interest, due to their brownfield character, what places then into the great risk. Because many of these buildings are in private hands, it is often complicated to define the protection policy. It is in the interest of healthy development of society to protect cultural heritage as part of its own identity. The thesis is monitoring approaches to protection of monuments in Slovakia, as well as in global context and offers alternative approaches in terms of protection of industrial heritage.

This building is part of Cultural heritage and we have to apply all heritage criteria on this. The building is big hall - big space with two old machines. Now the machines don’t work anymore. My idea is to connect this old indutry area with the rest of the city – with still living part of the city – and bring here new life. Students are new young blood. So I decided to put on part of Ostrava Technology University here. The other buildings will be used as a business center and research center. Great interaction for future – University, Business and Research center.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze the WDM and OTDM optical telecommunication networks and the possibility of conversion between these two multiplexing methods. In the first chapter were mentioned the basics of optical communication. The next chapter describes the optical fiber. Specifically, their types, linear and nonlinear optical characteristics whitch are limiting transmission e.g. attenuation, dispersion, refraction, FWM, SPM and XPM. Followed by a general description of the multiplexing systems used in optics and individual elements used in various multiplexing systems. The last chapter was devoted to the design of the OTDM - WDM conversion model.

The Tomioka Silk Mill, an extraordinary industrial heritage in the Prefecture of Gunma on the Honshu island, is waiting to be included to the List of Unesco (nowadays is only on the List Tentative). Former factory, documenting the integration of French technology and Japonese architecture, was realised on the principle of classical factory zoning. The conversion of the mill, aiming at multiple-municipal functions, is reflected in a new urbanistic conception of the area in the municipal context. The project proposes and checks functional zones for users and sightseeing routes for turists. The part of that is evaluating the potential of the mill objects, of the landscape of the mill and of the functional municipal relations.

Analitinėje dalyje pateikta surinkta medžiaga, susijusi su jaunimo bendrabučių ir daugiafunkcių centrų projektavimu bei renovacija, silosų konversija į gyvenamuosius pastatus. Tiriamojoje dalyje pateikta pasirinktos situacijos analizė, problemiškumas, poreikiai ir galimybės, urbanistinės plėtros vizijos. Projektinę dalį sudaro: urbanistinis situacijos maketas (M 1:1000) ir pastato su artimiausia aplinka maketas (M 1:200); projektuojamojo komplekso generalinis planas, planai, pjūviai, fasadai, kambarių silose detalizacija, eksterjero ir interjero perspektyviniai vaizdai.Master thesis aim is to convert „Kauno grūdai“ elevator to the multifunctional youth living complex, which consists of youth design and business centre, student housing in the former grain silos, multifunctional elevator and leisure and sports centre. The paper consists of analytical, research and project parts. In the analytical part it is presented collected material about design and renovation of student housing and multifunctional youth centres, silos conversions to housing. In the research part it is presented analysis of chosen situation, its problems, requirements and potentials, urban visions. Project part consists of urban situation model (sc 1:1000) and building model with nearest surroundings (sc 1:200); master plan of the designed complex, facades, sections, plans, detailed view of the apartments in silo, exterior and interior perspective views.

The area was from its inception a hub of not only the surrounding area but the entire region. Founding order of monks founded it in the mid-13th century, amid wild Žďárské Hills. The monastery is a significant push for the development of agriculture, education, and also brought the new technology. Its peak in the area enjoyed under the guidance of an enlightened abbot Vaclav Vejmluva, who advocated the architecturally unique. He invited architect Jan Blazej Santini Aichel to design complex remodeling and designing the pilgrimage church of St. John of Nepomuk on Green Mountain. It is this unique today is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List for its unique style of Baroque Gothic. The monastery was closed by decree of Emperor Joseph II. in 1784. Shortly after he was bought by the nobility. Despite these events complex kept its position as a cultural and educational center continues to serve lidem.1930 lock acquires ownership of the Kinsky family, but in 1948 there is a nationalization of assets transferred under the management and ownership of the state. This period brought a large decline of the entire complex, which after centuries of its unique position came. Today's attempt to correct these errors started after returning the property to its original owners, the Kinsky family. Current owner Konstantin Kinský trying to build on the tradition and education. Very convenient position at the junction large cities of Prague and Brno, architectural and historic qualities combined with the beauty and diversity of the surrounding nature helps lock to become a major tourist center. The aim is to underline this position a lucrative background and offering his own castle, while keeping genius loci and underline its importance. Given the set goal and the architecture of the campus, I divided the complex into three zones, which are variable deeper into the area treat. The first zone is public, it consists of museums, galleries and meeting facilities, it is the noisiest and accessible first. Serve as regular visitors and tourists who are staying in the area. This zone is a kind of buffer, protecting the gradual calming. The second zone is a semi-public, already serves local school pupils and visitors to the spa and hotel guests. This zone also serves as an access and smoothing filter. The last zone is semi-private. Almost in its entirety it occupies park hotel, which dates back to the shore of the pond and is adjacent to the private gardens of Princess Tamara Kinski. This environment is free from all the noise and undesirable elements associated with heavy traffic roads and features associated with the first zones. They serve as a refuge. All zones are connected barrier-covered footbridge, which starts at and ends up on the edge of the complex ecology museum. This bridge will merge as a kind of mediator and connections between functions and increases the comfort offered. The bridge is fully enclosed and provides a safe journey and a refuge from the often raw local weather. The entire complex is designed as a universally embracing space. The area serves primarily for the pleasure of the mind and soul and allow himself to penetrate wildness and diversity Zdarske nature. Scale remains a very human and avoids congestion visitor. They serve as a refuge in the wildness of the landscape and the environment as a place of education, culture and history.

An extensive historical estate of the Kinsky family connected with the Žďár nad Sázavou monastery and create a remarkable set of cultural and natural heritage. Monastery owners, the Kinsky family, are seeking for a long time to evaluate this legacy, and therefore, has recently decided to prepare concrete reflection on the development and rehabilitation of the monastery and its accessories by preparing a global strategy for the concept of building development and its tourist use. The ambition of the Kinsky family is to develop in Žďárka a project of an important monument and Cultural center with European fame. Their will is to create from this place an important example of cultural and tourist development beyond the territory The presence of a unique collection of Baroque culture and architectural monuments from the Jan Blažej Santini (pilgrimage church of St. John of Nepomuk, The Monastery, the Abbey, the Church of the Assumption of Virgin Mary, the Riding Hall, the Cemetery, the Lyra Farm, the Chateau) make this area a unique monument and an important cultural heritage of the Czech Republic. The area of the monastery with its surroundings opens the strong potential of free space in the remarkable historical buildings capable of transforming cultural, tourist and commercial functions of all types: cultural events, expositions and exhibitions, seminars, accommodation, restaurant operations. Recently, the topic of the public cultural space has become more recent. These are new cultural buildings where people can meet, have fun and learn every day, spend their free time every day. Earlier, communism times fulfilled this function with cultural buildings. But modern life dictates new demands and functions of public space. Today it assumes more interactive space than before. Person works with space and architecture, engaging in activities. A new urban space is emerging, which opens up for a full-day multifunctional use - a cultural area. On the basis of the analysis of the solved territory, a proposal dealing with the whole locality of economic premises of the monastery was elaborated as a complex whole whose main aim was to create a functional and aesthetic environment. The site is situated in the area of the Cistercian monastery, which is located between two ponds. Next to the monastery there is a public transport stop and a public car parking. Design territory is defined by the monastery's backyard area. In addition, there is a functioning elementary school. The project is based on minimalism and respect for the place. Combined with the historical basis of the complex, a new cultural unit will be created. The cultural center is multifunctional, which corresponds to a simple and clearly arranged operation allowing for a wide range of cultural and educational activities, which can be attended by both: tourists and children from the local elementary school. The proposed multifunctional cultural facility meets the basic requirements for organizing cultural events of diverse character, such as theater, film and music performances, shows, balls, dance and sports courses and other social activities. It also provides facilities for families, mothers with children and open-air events during the summer months.

Atlikus architektūrinę ir urbanistinę analizę nuspręsta plėtoti visuomeninės ir komercinės infrastruktūros teritorijoją, integruojant ja į miesto planinę- erdvinę struktūrą. Planuojamą teritoriją siūloma išvalyti, paliekant architektūrinę ir konstrukcinę vertę turinčius pastatus. Šiluminės elektrinės pastatas tampa teritorijos ir miesto dalies akcentu, turintis glaudų ryšį su senamiesčiu. Trijų tūrių kompozicija racionaliai pritaikoma šiuolaikinio meno centro funkcijai, kuriame projektuojamos ekspozicijų erdvės, konferencijų salės, vestibiuliai, viešojo maitinimo, techninės patalpos ir kt. Rengiant projektą naudojamos netradicinės konstrukcinės sistemos. Darbą sudaro grafinė medžiaga ir tekstinė dalis: įvadas, analitinė dalis, duomenų apie pastatą apibendrinimas, pastato architektūrinis ir konstrukcijų techninės būklės įvertinimas, tyrimo medžiagos apdorojimas, architekturiniai ir konstrukciniai pastato renovacijos siulymai, literatūros sąrašas. Atskirai pridedami darbo priedai – grafinės medžiagos sumažintos kopijos, maketo nuotraukos.The aim of the final work of MA – identify the teritory conversion opportunities of Klaipeda thermopower station, evaluating the current situation and taking the relevant research methods . Develop comercial and public infrastructure area by using architectural and urbanistical analysis and integrating it into the target –spacial structure of the city. It is suggested to empty the target area, except the buildings that have architectural and structural value. The Thermopower station is going to be the accent of the teritory and the part of town, and have a close relation with the architecture of the oldtown. Three solids composition is adopted for the function of the modern art center, where exposition spaces, conference halls, lobbies, restaurants, technical rooms are being established. Untraditional constuctive systems were adjusted to prepare this project. The work contains graphic matereal and text part: introduction, analytical part, the summary of the building data, the evaluation of the building‘s architectural and constructive technical condition, processing of the research matereal, architectural and contructive renovation suggestions, bibliography. Appedixes: graphic matereal copies, photos of the model of the project.

This thesis deals with the issue of the conversion of the financial statements according to the Czech accounting principles to the IFRS. The first part of the thesis is focused on the bases of the conversion of the financial statements, entities who are obliged to present the financial statements under the IFRS, principles of the recognition according to the Czech accounting principles and IFRS. It further presents the basic types of the differences between IFRS and Czech accounting principles, technics and ways of conversion and finally the first-time adoption of International Financial Standards. The second part continues with the specific examples of the chosen areas of the conversion to the IFRS in the real company. The first area is emission rights, the next one continues with the valuation difference on the acquired asset and the whole thesis is closed with the issue of the liability discount. Every area is divided into four parts: general principles under Czech accounting principles, general principles under the IFRS, general principles in the company and the specific case within this area and its accounting view.

This thesis is interested in new materials for lithium – ion batteries. Two different samples were investigated, one intercalation and one conversion cathode material. The theoretical part is focused to the structure of cells, their advantages and disadvantages compared to other secondary batteries. Also other materials used in batteries are described. The practical part describes the preparation of cathode materials for subsequent testing by scanning elektron microscopy and thermogravimetric analysis. In conclusions two different materials were evaluated and compared with each other.

Predmet istraživanja disertacije je prikaz koncepata elektronskog učenja, opis potrebe, motivacije i metodologije za obradu i konverziju postojećih tradicionalnih nastavnih materijala, bez obzira na fizički oblik i sadržaj, u savremene i aktuelne elektronske didaktičke objekte (learning objects). Ideja je da oni budu kreirani tako da mogu biti korišćeni, ako je moguće i više puta, u sistemima za podršku elektronskom učenju. Drugi osnovni predmet istraživanja je opis, definisanje i praktična provera metodologije za razvoj saradničkih i komunikacionih veština studenata. Pri prelazu iz učionice u oblast elektronskog učenja one se zamenjuju elektronskim aktivnostima, standardnim i uobičajenim delom sistema za elektronsko učenje. Analizirana je primena klasičnih aktivnosti Web 2.0 tehnologije: foruma, chat-sistema, Wiki i blog tehnologije, kao i metodologije za on-line zadavanje, rešavanje, pregledanje i ocenjivanje individualnih i timskih zadataka.Konačno, data je sistematizacija metodologija upotrebe elektronskih nastavnih materijala i načini opisivanja meta-modelom. Prikazani su neki od postojećih alata za upotrebu u elektronskom učenju, a predložen je model i potencijalno korisni alati za automatizaciju procesa konverzije nastavnih materijala koji bi olakšali korišćenje u sistemima za podršku elektronskom učenju.The research topic involves description of eLearning concepts, depiction of need, motivation and methodology for processing and conversion of existing traditional teaching materials, regardless of their physical form and content, into contemporary and up-to-date electronic teaching material, learning objects. The idea is that these learning objects are created in such a way that they can be used, if possible also reused, in some of the learning management systems.The other primary research topic is the description, definition and practical testing of methodologies for the development of collaborative and communicative skills with students. Those skills are, as a part of the transfer from the classroom to the field of eLearning, substituted with electronic activities which are the standard and usual part of learning management systems. Within the thesis, application of typical activities of so-called Web 2.0 technologies: forums, chat-systems, Wiki and blog technology, but also methodologies for on-line assigning, solving, audit, and assessment of individual and team assignments.Finally, systematization of various methodologies of digital teaching material use is presented, together with the methods of their depiction by meta-model. Examples of currently existing tools available for eLearning are presented and a model is suggested, together with the potentially useful tools that might help in automatization of a process of conversion of teaching materials and their use in learning management systems.

Both existing buildings of designed Training Center are situated on the southern edge of the Tomioka Silk Mill above the steep river side. It is former dormitory for female workers and a house of the first manager of the factory Paul Brunat. Preparation of registration of the factory as UNESCO World Heritage Site and its subsequent functional transformation raises the need for trained professionals. Lot of organizations from surrounding area are now studying topic of the Tomioka Silk Mill. Thematic lectures about silk industry, history of the Tomioka Silk Mill and related sites, seminars, workshops and training of guides and other voluntaries, preparation and discussion of propagation of the mill, international conferences of experts of industrial heritage and silk production from all around the world and experts from Gunma prefecture, exhibitions and other events could take place in the new Training Center. Dormitory Rooms for seminars, lectures and offices for temporary teachers are situated in the southern block of former dormitory. In the other block, rooms for short-term accommodation stay in original condition of traditional Japanese style. Connection of waterfront and training center has been achieved through increase of entrances into the training rooms and restroom from the south of the building. This narrow strip of ground is settled by elevated terraces and green areas planted with bamboo. Building of the training center expanded to a new hygienic block on the west side. Part of it slightly exceeds above the river and creates observation terrace and it also makes the walking passage wider. Green atrium is situated between two blocks of dormitory. Brunat House Brunat house is designed for conferences and administration. The first manager has used this object as residence only a few years and then its use was changed to a school for workers of the mill. In addition to the main hall there is entrance foyer, dressing room, sanitary facilities and cafe bar. Administrative body of the Tomioka Silk Mill – the Tomioka Silk Mill Division is situated in the western block of Brunat house. Other activities of this office are: area and building maintenance, care of visitors, guides training, research and works related to world heritage registration. They also collaborate with Gunma government office World Herritage Registration Promotion Division and other experts. Waterfront Waterfront with southern sunlight is ideal for creating place for relax connected to surrounding functions of museum and training centre. Relax waterfront should offer calm corners, opportunity for sitting or lying on the southern sunlight and also nice viewpoint on the mountains surrounding the Tomioka city. It should connect Japanese nature with industrial environment and western style, as it was in the time of establishment of the factory. Training Centre should meet the needs of local organization and also experts from all around the world. Therefore it should be mix of Japanese and western culture.

This thesis deals with the method for time conversion of an audio signal based on a different approach to groups tonal and non-tonal segment signal implemented in Matlab. The first part deal with methods for musical signal processing based on time compression or expansion and describes the problems associated with the current way of implementing these methods. The following describes the methods of variable segmentation and tonal and non-tonal components detection in the audio recording. At the second part are these methods of variable segmentation, tonal component detection and time compression or expansion implemented in MATLAB. At the third part is performed testing on sound recordings and evaluation of results.

U ovom radu su izolovani specifični Bordetella bronchiseptica bakteriofagi iz izpriodne sredine koji pripadaju familiji Siphoviridae. Bakteriofagi su okarakterisani ucilju razmatranja njihove uloge u lizogenoj konverziji bakterije i mogućnostiprimene u kontroli vrste B. bronchiseptica. U tu svrhu ispitivane su morfološkekarakteristike odabranih faga, litički spektar faga, i karakteristike genoma i proteinafaga. Takođe, ispitivana je i stabilnost faga u različitim uslovima sredine, njihovalitička efikasnost i efekat na formiranje i vec formirani biofilm. U radu je ispitana iuloga faga u produkciji biofilma, rezistenciji na antibiotike, procesu hemolize ipokretljivosti kod vrste B. bronchiseptica. Rezultati ovog rada jasno ukazuju naulogu faga u lizogenoj konverziji vrste B. bronchiseptica kao i mogućnost njihoveprimene, uz određene modifikacije, kao anti-B.bronchiseptica agenasa.In this paper Bordetella bronchiseptica specific phages belonging to family Siphoviridae were isolated from environment. Bacteriophages were characterized to determine their role in the lysogenic conversion of bacteria and their possible usage in B. bronchiseptica control. For this purpose, morphological characteristics of the selected phages, the phage lytic spectrum, and the characteristics of phage genome and the proteins were examined. Also, the stability of phage in different environmental conditions was studied as well as their lytic efficiency, effect on the biofilm formation and formed biofilm. The paper also examined the role of phages in the production of biofilm, resistance to antibiotics, the process of hem olysis and the motility of B. bronchiseptica species. The results of this study clearly indicate the role of phage in lysogenic conversion in B. bronchiseptica as well as their potential for B. bronchiseptica control.

The subject of the thesis Online Propagation of Web Portal is formulation of recom-mendations for online campaigns for selected business entity. In the first chapter are defined basic concepts of Internet advertising as part of marketing and terms of web analytics. In the second chapter, there are internet campaigns analyzed using web analy-tics. On the basis of this analysis are formulated specific recommendations in the third chapter. The fourth chapter deals with the evaluation of modified campaigns. The fifth chapter deals with the evaluation of the results and the formulation of final recommen-dations.

Rezultat istraživačkog rada je opšta metoda koja obezbeđuje efikasnu konverziju podataka I2S protokola u TCP/IP protokol.This doctoral thesis presents the research work carried out in order to solve a practical problem, the realization of a connection between a medical measuring device and a personal computer. The result of the research is a general method that provides efficient data conversion from the I2S protocol to the TCP/IP protocol.

Diploma thesis called “CONVERSION OF DORMITORY TO HOSTEL AND NEW DESIGN OF HOTEL, TOMIOKA SILK MILL JAPAN“ was elaborated according to the regulations in the form of architectural study. The topics of this thesis were two variants of possible conversion of accommodation for workwomen (dormitory). The partial assignment comprised solution to the arrangement of greenery in the atrium of the dormitory, and revitalization of plateau. The building is located in the premise of a former silk mill in the city Tomioka in the Gunma prefecture on the Honshu island in Japan. The conversion of the building for the novel purpose required replenishment of necessary facilities, and some building interventions to assure operation of the hostel. In both variants, partial adjustment of the original building was needed. However, all changes had to maintain proportions and volume of the building not to compromise the original concept of whole premise as well as the skyline of the city. The adjustments of the original building of dormitory consisted of a completion of the entrance portal including a foyer, and a reception with the base of operation. Large glass areas in combination with exposed concrete were used as construction materials. These materials were selected so that the new structures (monolithic ferroconcrete) are clearly distinguishable from original ones (wood). The Internal atrium was designed in the style of modern japan garden with various types of surfaces (vegetation – moss; mineral – gravel and stones). Variant 1 – the new constructions of the two facility buildings. Building A is washroom building, and building B is catering building with toilets. The volumes of individual objects were formed by simple prisms rotated by 30° a 60° against axis of dormitory. These volumes complied with dimensions of the original building. The building A protruded on the edge of the slope, and it was paneled with glass plates. The building B was glassed-in from the south, while the northern side was constructed from exposed concrete in a compact way. The building A was divided to two symmetric parts by a central wall for both structural and functional purposes. At the end of the building, there was an ofuro (swimming pool) providing views of the surrounding mountains. Typological solution of the building B included separate toilets with a mixed washroom, which were located in the northern part of the building. In the southern part, the space for catering was divided to an operational space, and a space for visitors by a dispensing counter. The building A was from reinforced concrete and was founded on the base plate. The central wall represented the main load-bearing structural element that prevents transverse breakage. The central wall was anchored into the ground with piles. The building B was also from reinforced concrete and was based on the strip foundations. Variant 2 – the extension was formed as a simple prism that complied with the rectangular system of the premise and dimensions of the original dormitory building. Employed materials of the new constructions were concrete and glass similarly to the other new extensions. To ensure intimate environment, the glass part of a façade was enclosed by a bamboo fence. This space was also used as a viewable green garden. The building was typologically divided to the parts for women and men. Both parts were equipped with ofuro. The building was monolithic ferroconcrete skeleton based on the footings.
