For the first time, under the conditions of the introduction of the Tashkent Botanical Garden of Uzbekistan, the reproduction of valuable medicinal Lonicera japonica Thunb. was studied. Thus, the optimal temperature for the germination of Lonicera japonica seeds in laboratory conditions is +20 +22 °C, at which the germination rate was 58%. It was noted that under greenhouse conditions, 93% of cuttings, when treated with the Kornevin stimulant, formed roots at an air temperature of 20-22 °C and a relative air humidity of 49-53%. Vegetable production by way of protected cultivation is currently developing in Ukraine as a dynamic and effective branch of agriculture. This is extremely important for providing the population with vegetables rich in vitamins and minerals, although the development of this branch does not provide for all of the population's needs. One of the ways to increase vegetable production is to increase the yield of protected cultivation cultures; this may be achieved with the well-grounded use of growth stimulants.
