Diese Arbeit liefert einen Beitrag zur Erforschung der Negation von <i>bar</i>-Adjektiven. <i>Bar</i>-Adjektive können auf zwei verschiedene Weisen negiert werden: durch Präfigierung mit <i>un</i> wie in <i>undenkbar</i> und durch vorangestelltes <i>nicht</i> wie in <i>nicht essbar</i>. Die Negation mit <i>nicht</i> ist immer möglich. Die Negation mit <i>un</i> unterliegt hingegen bestimmten Restriktionen. Diese Restriktionen zu erforschen ist Gegenstand dieser Arbeit. Es wird dafür ein integrierter Ansatz aus Korpusanalyse und Data Mining benutzt.

The aim of this study is to examine the word acquisition, focusing on the nouns and word exercises, in two Swedish textbooks for German in the upper secondary school. The chosen method for investigating the nouns was corpus analysis. The noun frequency and distribution in the textbooks were analysed and discussed in relation to research in second language acquisition. De ord som undersökts i kombination med vůbec är skoro, téměř, málem, takřka och bezmála, som alla kan översättas med ’nästan’. This study investigates the expression of epistemic modality in a corpus of Ghanaian Pidgin English (GhaPE). The epistemic expressions are manually identified and thereafter distinguished from each other in terms of grammatical status and their indication of different epistemic and evidential notions. 7 different elements are found, ranging from 1 pre-verbal marker, 1 adverb, 2 particles and 3 complement-taking predicates. This study examines linguistic frame changes in the Polish EU-discourse after the election of the PiS party in 2015. By looking at keywords, n-Grams, collocations, and verbs this thesis pursues a corpus-driven, inductive approach. Those findings generated in the corpus-driven examination are further analysed in a corpus-based follow-up analysis, as well as by using FrameNet entries.
