Bakgrund: Lateral Epikondylalgia (LE) eller tennisarmbåge är ett smärtsam tendinopati som drabbar armbågens utsida. Yogastudier har visat en stressreducerande effekt på humör och yoga har blivit ett populärt alternativ för att minska upplevda stressymptom. Samtidigt blir avslappningsformer så som skogsbad allt vanligare. Skogsbad kommer från Japan och bygger på biofilihypotesen, att människan har ett behov av att känna tillhörighet med naturen. Den här studien fokuserar på att minska negativ stress. Syfte: Undersöka huruvida det finns vetenskapliga belägg att skogsbad sänker kortisolkoncentrationen. Abstract The aim of this work was to evaluate the outcome of childhood Henoch-Schönlein purpura (HSP), the effectiveness of Cyclosporine A (CyA) for treating severe HSP nephritis (HSN), and more particularly the possibility for influencing the course of HSP disease by early prednisone treatment. In dieser Studie untersuchten wir den Einfluss von interhemisphärischen Projektionen auf die Antworteigenschaften von Neuronen in den Zielregionen dieser Verbindungen. Dazu wurden elektrophysiologische Ableitungen in den Arealen 17 und 18 bei der anästhesierten Katze durchgeführt. Wir kombinierten diese Ableitungen mit der reversiblen, thermischen Deaktivierung der kallosal projizierenden Neurone auf der kontralateralen Hemisphäre. This thesis focuses on women's competition in female basketball players and their hormonal responses to winning and losing. We tested saliva samples of 29 female players for testosterone and cortisol which were collected in three phases: baseline samples, pregame samples and after game samples.
