Batrachedra Herrich-Schäffer, 1853 (Lepidoptera: Batrachedridae) is a widespread genus with species concentrated in tropical areas. This genus of about 140 described species has been put in several lepidopteran families, most recently in the Batrachedridae (Hodges 1999; Koster 2002). Batrachedra has 25 Nearctic species (Hodges 1983; Koster 2002), 17 Neotropical species (Becker 1984), 6 Palearctic species (Koster 2002), and 29 Australian species (Edwards 1996). Finite clausal arguments differ from other arguments—and other CPs—in two fundamental ways: (a) they do not move leftward ( Koster 1978 , Alrenga 2005 , Takahashi 2010 , Moulton 2013 ) and (b) they may combine with nouns that do not accept arguments ( Stowell 1981 , Grimshaw 1990 ). Abstract The application of flexural joints in mechanisms has a number of advantages. Extreme repeatability of position is obtained because of the absence of backlash and friction. From a tribological point of view, no lubrication is needed and no wear exists. In many cases their application gives rise to a low cost assembly.
