Abstract:
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to develop a green supplier development (GSD) process model and validate the model with a case study in Indian automobile industry. Design/methodology/approach A literature survey of peer-reviewed journal articles, survey reports and paradigmatic books with managerial impact is done for the research. The process of GSD is modeled using stage-gate approach and KPIV and KPOV of the process are determined. The process model is implemented in an Indian automobile components manufacturing industry for validation. Findings The industry implemented the model with ten suppliers and was able to successfully convert seven of them into Green suppliers. Remaining three suppliers were asked to repeat the process again or terminate the contracts. Model implementation took around three years starting from planning of resources and finances to actual development of suppliers. Research limitations/implications The model implementation was done with a small automobile industry and hence the validation and implications may be generalized by taking the case study further in different industries. It would be beneficial to test the model with case studies of large-scale industries. Practical implications The process model for implementing GSD activities will help managers in taking complex investment decisions. The stages and process inputs and outputs are clearly defined which helps the managers to successfully develop the suppliers. Originality/value This paper puts forward the process model that should be implemented for the successful development of green suppliers. It might represent new opportunities for rigorous and relevant research in the area of green supply chain.

Abstract:
The recent years have observed a notable rise in online activities and interactions. One of the popular online interaction zones are fandom communities comprising fans of any artist, band, TV show, movie, book, and so on. These fans come together on various platforms to enthuse about their favorites with people who share their admiration and interests. One such platform is Twitter and the fandom community is Stan Twitter. Within those fandoms, K-Pop fandom stands out because of the density of English as a second or foreign language speakers in this community. Taking this community as its sample, this study explores the ways in which the non-native English speaking fandom members use English to communicate on this platform. Moreover, the study focuses on the interpretation and usage of meme discourse by these non-native English speaking members. The findings reveal that the fandom members learn memetic discourse by internalizing it in the form of schemas, which means that they learn the whole chunk of interaction rather than learning individual words. The study has also explored overall language-learning within this community, and has discussed the implications of fandom activities as potential learning aids.

Abstract:
In an effort to increase voluntary compliance with tax obligations and encourage the contribution of revenues from the UMKM sector, the Government has issued Government Regulation No. 46 2013. The new Tax Regulation has the advantage of rates that are used less than the previous fare, ie 1% of gross turnover.Regulation No. 46 2013 taxpayer applies for personal and / or agency that has a certain gross income, ie income less than 4.8 M. The aim of this study was to analyze the impact of adoption of Government Regulation No. 46 2013 of Paying Income Tax by Taxpayers at KPP Pratama Manado. The analytical method used is using two different test samples / dependent groups (paired) or Paired Sample T Test. Paired Sample t test course used when the two groups are interconnected. Two paired sample means a sample with the same subject but have two different treatments or measurements of, for example, before and after. Results of this study indicate that there is a difference between before and after the enactment of Government Regulation No. 46 Year 2013, but the difference that causes a decrease in the amount of tax paid by individual taxpayers who use the recording but for individual taxpayers who use the books there is no significant difference. As for corporate taxpayers that difference causes an increase on the amount of income tax payments by using final tax. Thus the application of Regulation No. 46 Year 2013 needs to be socialized again to taxpayers who are not registered in the KPP Pratama Manado in order to increase the amount of income tax payments.
