ROSJA – MITYCZNA KRAINA: KOMPENSACYJNA ROLA WYOBRAŻEŃ O ROSYJSKOŚCI W ŁEMKOWSKICH TEKSTACH KULTUROWYCH
 W artykule została podjęta próba rozpoznania i przedstawienia konstruktów wyobraźniowych zawartych w łemkowskich tekstach kultury, głównie w piśmiennictwie, które odnoszą się do Rosji i rosyjskości. Kluczową rolę w tworzeniu konstruktów wyobrażeniowych odegrały uwarunkowania geopolityczne i kulturowe kształtowania się łemkowskiej tożsamości etnicznej. W tekście wyodrębnione zostają swoiste hipostazy rosyjskości, konkretyzujące się w łemkowskim dyskursie tożsamościowym: mit sprawiedliwego i dobrego cara, obrońcy prześladowanych Rusinów oraz wizja Rosji jako krainy dobrobytu. Przedstawione są osobowe/ personalne oraz tekstowe przykłady wpływu tych mitów. Opisane zostały utopie społeczne zbudowane na ich bazie. Wskazano też na konsekwencje politycznej interpretacji tych mitycznych i kulturowych obrazów dla losów całej społeczności łemkowskiej.

Abstract:
Niniejszy artykuł przedstawia muzyczne przetworzenia Alicji w Krainie Czarów Lewisa Carrolla przez kontrkulturę lat 60. Autorka pokazuje, jak psychodelia w sztuce i kulturze tamtego okresu sprawiła, że utwór zaczął być postrzegany jako zapis doświadczenia narkotycznego. Analizując, co w tekstach piosenek dzieje się z takimi bohaterami, jak – na przykład Alicja, Szalony Kapelusznik, Pan Gąsienica czy Biały Królik, autorka wskazuje na transformacje, jakiej uległy postaci w piosenkach The Beatles, Jefferson Airplane, The Incredible String Band, The Monkees czy Toma Northcotta. Piosenki podzielono na trzy części: Alicja – Ta, Która Wie, Alicja – Ta, Której Nie Ma i Mieszkańcy Krainy Czarów.

Abstract:
Przedstawioną w Eneidzie podziemną krainę zwaną Orcus porastają dwa wielkie drzewostany: las mirtowy i gaj wawrzynów. Celem artykułu jest ustalenie, jakie ukryte znaczenia można dostrzec pod postacią owych drzew i jakie treści przekazuje za ich pośrednictwem Wergiliusz. Badanie symboliki mirtu wskazuje na powiązanie go z boginią Venus Genetrix, którą poeci przedstawiali jako „matkę Eneadów” i z którą pokrewieństwo przypisywał sobie Juliusz Cezar. Analiza znaczenia wawrzynu odsyła natomiast do Apollina, a w konsekwencji do Oktawiana, który popularyzował nadzwyczajną przychylność owego boga dla swojej osoby. Wergiliusz, dzięki wykorzystaniu owych czytelnych w świadomości społecznej symboli, stworzył z nich spójny obraz w VI księdze opowieści o powstawaniu państwa rzymskiego. Umieszczając bowiem w krainie Orku dwa wielkie gaje: mirtu, rosnącego na Polach Żalu, czyli na początku drogi wiodącej przez Podziemie, i lauru na jej etapie końcowym w Elizjum, nakreślił obraz drogi, jaką rozpoczęło państwo rzymskie wraz z rządami Juliusza Cezara i której uwieńczeniem stał się okres panowania Augusta. Dzięki temu, że oba lasy umiejscowił w krainie, gdzie przebywają Sny, Wergiliusz w poetycki sposób nadał owej scenie także charakter proroczej wizji, która ma się spełnić.

Abstract:
In der zweiten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts zog die belesene Hedwig von Radics Kaltenbrunner samt ihrer Familie von Wien nach Laibach (Ljubljana) und gründete im Jahr 1886 in der Krainer Hauptstadt ihre eigene öffentliche Leihbibliothek. Aufgrund der Archivquellen und des erhalten gebliebenen Bücherkatalogs der Leihbibliothek aus dem Jahr 1898 (Katalog der Leihbibliothek der Frau Hedwig von Radics) werden im Beitrag Lesegewohnheiten des Laibacher Bürgertums rekonstruiert, verschiedene Themenbereiche dargestellt, zu denen in der Leihbibliothek die Lektüre zur Verfügung stand wie auch die zahlenmäßige Präsenz der Bücher aus der Feder diverser AutorInnen analysiert; dadurch lässt sich indirekt die Rezeptionsgeschichte der fremdsprachigen Literatur im Land Krain rekonstruieren. Darüber hinaus ermöglicht die Recherche auch den Einblick in die interkulturellen Transferprozesse und Wechselbeziehungen auf dem kulturellen und literarischen Gebiet in Europa in der zweiten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts und sichert der Hauptstadt des Landes Krain den Platz auf der mentalen Karte der europäischen Lesekultur.

Recenzja książki Ewy Mazierskiej European Cinema and Intertextuality. History, Memory and Politics (2011). Autorka książki podejmuje zadanie przedstawienia ważnych wydarzeń w dwudziestowiecznej historii Europy, a zarazem narracji na ich temat przez pryzmat filmów zróżnicowanych gatunkowo i zrealizowanych przez twórców z różnych krajów. W sześciu rozdziałach poświęconych między innymi Zagładzie, europejskiemu terroryzmowi czy upadkowi komunizmu autorka analizuje zarówno filmy, jak i ich intertekstualny – medialny i historiograficzny – kontekst. Recenzentka zwraca uwagę na świadomość metodologiczną autorki i skuteczność, z jaką do filmoznawczych analiz zaprzęga rozległą literaturę historyczną. Jednocześnie wyraża wątpliwości dotyczące interpretacji konkretnych filmów poza ich lokalnym, a zatem bardziej zniuansowanym, kontekstem. Jednak niezależnie od kontrowersyjnych analiz książka Mazierskiej potwierdza walory filmu jako historycznego źródła, a zarazem impulsu do metahistorycznej refleksji.

W Krainie wiecznego szczęścia Wojciech Sitek recenzuje pierwszą polskojęzyczną monografię poświęconą filmom o dorastaniu. Karolina Kostyra, autorka książki Wiosenna bujność traw. Obrazy przyrody w filmach o dorastaniu, zwraca uwagę, że w ramach gatunku coming of age natura w sposób szczególny oddziałuje na młodych ludzi. W czasie dojrzewania jest tak płodna i ekspansywna, że porywa w swoje głębie i na zawsze odmienia adolescenta, przygotowując go do podjęcia dorosłego życia. Filmoznawcza publikacja przybiera momentami kształt ogólnohumanistycznej refleksji nad światem i miejscem człowieka w rozległym porządku. Istotę związku między człowiekiem i przyrodą autorka próbuje zgłębić sięgając do różnych źródeł – poszukuje tropów w Jungowskiej krytyce mitograficznej, przywołuje rozpoznane przez Mirceę Eliadego motywy symboliki magiczno-religijnej, zaś za Bruno Bettelheimem rozpatruje eksternalizującą funkcję baśni. Osobista i emocjonalnie zaangażowana refleksja oraz melancholijny ton książki ściśle korespondują z tematyką podejmowaną w filmach o dorastaniu. Tęsknota płynie więc tutaj zarówno z przeżyć bohaterów, jak i z poszukiwań autorki, żywo zaangażowanej w relacjonowanie opowieści o pograniczu dzieciństwa i dorosłości.

Abstract:
The development of new varieties of cherries with a combination of economically important traits, along with the high nutritional value of the fruit, is an important trend in breeding research, which renews and expands the variety range of cherries. The agrobiological and consumer properties of seven new varieties of sweet cherries of Dagestan breeding (FSBSI Dagestan breeding experimental station of fruit crops) are presented: Bela, Dagestan red, Bigarro Krainsky, Garnet, Lyubimitsa Korvatskogo, Lezginka and Nike. The research was carried out using conventional methods for a variety research and biochemical methods of analysis. It was determined that the cherry varieties Lyubimitsa Korvatskogo, Pomegranate, White and Nike are highly resistant to spring frosts, with the subfreezing of flowers being less than 18.3%. The fruits of the varieties Nike, Bela, Pomegranate, Lezginka and Lyubimitsa Korvatskogo are the most resistant to dehiscence, since the index of dehiscence during ripening at high humidity for these varieties varied within 13.5–18.2 %. The susceptibility of new varieties to Coccomyces and monilial blight is insignificant (no more than 1.2 points). Varieties Bigarro Krainsky, Pomegranate, Lezginka and Nike are characterized by the highest content of soluble solids (12.4–16.3%) and sugars (11.01–12.02%) in fruits. Bigarro Krainski, Bela and Lezginka exhibited the highest vitamin C content (9.24– 9.70 mg %). With the exception of the Bela variety (5.0 g), all new varieties of cherries are characterised by large fruits (7.5–9.5 g). Tasting indicators were rated as high (within 4.7–5.0 points on a five-point scale) for the Lyubimitsa Korvatskogo, Pomegranate, Lezginka and Nike varieties. The average yield was the highest for Nike, Bela and Garnet (8.0–9.6 t/ ha). The study showed that new cherry varieties obtained a combination of economic and biologically valuable traits, along with improved consumer properties compared with the control varieties. Therefore, they are recommended as valuable parent materials for breeding programs and the expansion of commercial cherry orchards in Dagestan in order to obtain high-quality fruit products.

Abstract:
El río Rímac en épocas de avenidas suele socavar la ribera del río ocasionando deslizamientos del terreno que ponen en contante peligro a la población local. Para ello, se analizará dos propuestas de solución en un tramo de 150 metros en el talud del río Rímac, en el distrito de San Juan de Lurigancho. Las propuestas son una convencional y otra que por el momento no es muy conocida en nuestro país. La primera alternativa es la construcción de muros de concreto armado, debido a su alta efectividad en este tipo de problemática. La segunda alternativa, es la construcción de Muros Krainer, estos son un tipo de muro innovador, considerados como un método de bioingeniería que tiene como objetivo simular un muro de tierra armada. Se realizará un análisis estático y pseudoestático para cada tipo de muro en estudio. A su vez, el objetivo de dichos análisis es obtener el factor de seguridad, así como verificar el desempeño de este con los valores requeridos para cada muro con la ayuda de hojas de cálculos y herramientas computacionales. Por otro lado, se efectuará un análisis de costo con la conformación de análisis de precios unitarios para cada partida que requiere la elaboración de ambos muros. El producto del análisis estático y pseudoestático para los muros estudiados satisfacen los valores requeridos para su estabilidad. Sin embargo, el resultado del costo directo para la realización del muro Krainer resulto menor a comparación del costo directo del muro de contención de concreto armado.<br>The Rímac river in times of avenues usually undermines the riverbank causing landslides that endanger the local population. For this, two solution proposals will be analyzed in a 150-meter section on the slope of the Rímac river, in the San Juan de Lurigancho district. The proposals are one conventional and another that at the moment is not well known in our country. The first alternative is the construction of reinforced concrete walls, due to its high effectiveness in this type of problem. The second alternative is the construction of Krainer Walls, these are an innovative type of wall, considered as a bioengineering method that aims to simulate a reinforced earth wall. A static and pseudostatic analysis will be carried out for each type of wall under study. In turn, the objective of said analyzes is to obtain the safety factor, as well as verify its performance with the values required for each wall with the help of spreadsheets and computational tools. On the other hand, a cost analysis will be carried out with the formation of unit price analyzes for each item that requires the preparation of both walls. The product of the static and pseudostatic analysis for the studied walls satisfy the values required for their stability. However, the result of the direct cost for the realization of the Krainer wall was lower compared to the direct cost of the reinforced concrete retaining wall.<br>Tesis

Eksperimentas buvo atliktas su 90 mišrūnių kiaulių, suskirstytų į bandomąsias grupes, atsižvelgiant į jų kilmę, lytį ir pradinį kūno svorį. Kiaulės buvo suskirstytos į šešias bandomąsias grupes (15 gyvūnų kiekvienoje grupėje): 1 grupė - gyvūnai šeriami visaverčiais pašarais ir laikomi ganykloje, 2 grupės - gyvūnai šeriami visaverčiais pašarais ir laikomi tvarte, garduose su kraiko pakratais, 3 grupė - gyvūnai šeriami visaverčiais pašarais ir laikomi tvarte, garduose be kraiko pakratų, 4 grupė - gyvuliai šeriami visaverčiais pašarais ir liucernos pašarais, laikomi lauke, grupė 5 - gyvuliai šeriami visaverčiais pašarais ir liucernos pašarais, laikomi tvarte, garduose su kraiko pakratais, 6 grupė - gyvuliai šeriami visaverčiais pašarais ir liucernos pašarais, laikomi tvarte, garduose be kraiko. Tyrimo objektas: penimų kiaulių elgsena atsižvelgiant į šėrimą ir laikymo būdus (tvarte ar vasaros stovyklose) Trimo tikslas: nustatyti laikymo sistemų (tvarte ar vasaros stovyklose) ir šėrimo (pilnavertis pašaras ir/arba papildytas liucernos pašaru) poveikį skirtingais amžiaus laikotarpiais penimų kiaulių elgsenai. Išvados. Analizuojant skirtingus penėjimo laikotarpius, nustatyti kiaulių elgsenos ypatumai ir ryšys su produktyvumu. Pirmoje ir antroje penėjimo fazėje (apie 50 kg ir 100 kg) nustatyti įtakojantys veiksniai produktyvumą susiję su poilsio periodų, judėjimo aktyvumų. Kiaulės augintos be kraiko, daugiau laiko skirdavo poilsiui, buvo mažiau aktyvios, ir agresyvesnės... [toliau žr. visą tekstą]<br>The experiment was performed on a total of 90 hybrid pigs divided into experimental groups based on their origin (litter), sex and initial body weight. The pigs were assigned to six experimental groups (15 animals per group): group 1 – animals fed a complete diet and kept freerange, group 2 – animals fed a complete diet and kept indoors in pens with litter bedding, group 3 - animals fed a complete diet and kept indoors in pens without litter bedding, group 4 – animals fed a complete diet and alfalfa forage, kept free-range, group 5 - animals fed a complete diet and alfalfa forage, kept indoors in pens with litter bedding, group 6 - animals fed a complete diet and alfalfa forage, kept indoors in pens without litter bedding. All management systems were animal welfare-friendly. Both at the first and second stage of fattening (approx. 50 kg and 100 kg BW, respectively), the experimental factors had a significant effect on the majority of behavior patterns in pigs. An increase in rest periods and a reduction in locomotor activity and other types of behavior were observed in older animals.

Dorota Terakowska’s In Cat`s Land [W krainie Kota] as an example of dormant herstory The article is devoted to the interpretation of Dorota Terakowska’s novel In Cat`s Land [W krainie Kota] (1998) from the perspective of feminisms and “herstories.” The author starts from the classic concepts of pluralism of feminisms, arachnology, and herstories in order to signal their presence in contemporary Polish youth prose. She undertakes theoretical reflection on Anna Burzyńska, Kazimiera Szczuka, Monika Świerkosz, Grażyna Borkowska, and Ewa Kraskowska, who develop the concept of arachnology by Nancy K. Miller and herstory by Adele Aldridge. In the text, Terakowska’s prose is a general reflection on the presence of herstory, with particular emphasis on the work In Cat`s Land as a phantasmatic herstory highlighting specific female experiences.

Abstract:
The stall margin and choke margin of centrifugal compressor could be increased by using Self-Adaptive Casing Treatment (SACT). The previous numerical research mainly focuses on making parametric optimization rather than the selection of turbulence model and flow field analysis of the compressor with SACT. In this work, the 3D steady state simulations were carried out to obtain the performance and flow field of the Krain impeller with and without SACT by ANSYS-CFX. Four turbulence models including k-Epsilon turbulence model, RNG k-Epsilon turbulence model, Shear Stress Transport (SST) turbulence model and BSL Reynolds Stress (BSL) turbulence model were used to simulate the Krain impeller with a vaneless constant area diffuser. The numerical data were validated by the experimental data in reference. The results of this study showed that different turbulence models led to differences in performance predictions and flow field characteristics, and the overall performance and flow field features could be predicted more accurately by using SST turbulence model. The bypass flow and reinjected flow were respectively observed in the hole when the Krain impeller with SACT worked at large and small mass flow rate conditions. And the stable working range of the Krain impeller was expanded by using SACT. In addition, the development of the low-velocity fluid at the blade tip region was restrained with the application of SACT.

Д.А. Крайнов (1904–1998) – известный советский и российский археолог, более 40 лет посвятил археологическому изучению древнейшего прошлого Верхнего Поволжья. Работы его в этом регионе начались ещё до Великой Отечественной войны. Однако наиболее интенсивные исследования приходятся на послевоенное время, особенно 1960–1980-е годы. Основные заслуги его связаны прежде всего с раскопками 28 могильников фатьяновской культуры эпохи бронзы. На материалах раскопок он создал целостное представление о происхождении, хронологии, материальной и духовной культуре, хозяйстве и социальной структуре носителей фатьяновской культуры. В начале 1970-х годов Д.А. Крайнов сделал своё самое значительное открытие в археологии неолита – выделил верхневолжскую ранненеолитическую культуру. Это открытие заставило пересмотреть происхождение, хронологию и последовательность развития неолитических культур лесной зоны Европейской части России. D.A. Krainov (1904–1998) was a famous Soviet and Russian archaeologist who devoted more than 40 years to the archaeological study of the ancient past of the Upper Volga region. His work in this region began even before the Great Patriotic War. However, the most intensive research occurred in the post-war period, especially the 1960s– 1980s. His main achievements are connected, first of all, with the excavations of 28 burial grounds of the Fatyanovo culture of the Bronze Age. Based on the materials of the excavations, he created a holistic view of the origin, chronology, material and spiritual culture, economy and social structure of the bearers of the Fatyanovo culture. In the early 1970s, D.A. Krainov made his most significant discovery in Neolithic archaeology – he identified the Upper Volga Early Neolithic Culture. This discovery forced us to reconsider the origin, chronology and sequence of development of the Neolithic cultures of the forest zone of the European part of Russia.

This paper described a 3-D, finite-volume procedure for simulating the entire viscous flow field within the impellers of a high subsonic radial compressor with uniform tip-clearance. The aim of the calculation is to verify the compressible Navier-Stokes solvers by comparing the computation against the experimental data of Krain backswept compressor at choke condition. The time-marching implicit technique used is a modified form of the basic Beam-Warming algorithm with a mixing length turbulence model in the blade-relative frame using rotating cylindrical coordinate system and appropriate source terms. An outline of the scheme is addressed and the present capabilities of the solver are assessed. The numerical calculations of the well-known jet/wake-type flow patterns agree well with measurement for the compressor rotor, and detailed comparisons indicate that the tip-clearance effect must be accurately modeled to compute the impeller flow patterns properly. In the case of larger separation region near suction surface of Krain compressor, it is due to the larger tip gap used in the model which causes the thickening of the casing boundary layer followed by the deterioration of the entire flow field.

Abstract:
Abstract The flow inside a centrifugal impeller has various complex three dimensional phenomena (flow separation, jet-wake structure, shock wave, etc.). In this study, the internal flow field calculation of Samsung, high pressure ratio, high speed, centrifugal impeller with splitter blades is obtained by commercially available CFX-Tascflow code with CFX-Turbogrid for grid generation. The results are compared to that obtained previously by Denton and Dawes codes. The impeller is used in the first stage centrifugal compressor of an industrial gas turbine. The CFX-Tascflow results showed some differences Mach number contours. Also, the calculations are performed for Krain’s backswept impeller and the results are compared to the experimental measurements. Simulation of tip clearance has been done and the results were in a good agreement with the previous experiments.
