Abstract:
The Effect of Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono I on Kraton Yogyakarta Karawitan. Gamelan asmusical instrument or karawitan as a musical product of Kraton Yogyakarta has some specific characters. Itis still used as an identity and is recognized by karawitan society until now. This musical development wasfirstly introduced by Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono I. There are two important reasons which stimulatethe ideas of creating gamelan characters. First, the king’s authority conception puts the gamelan as one ofthe important heirloom. Second, Sultan’s personalities which are masculine, heroic, and patriotic becomethe influencing model of its development, and give some specific characters on each gamelan instrument andits musicality as well. Kraton Yogyakarta gamelan has many musical rasa(s)/feelings: glorious, strong, clear, steady, prestigious, ‘mrabu’ (like a king), and ‘ngratoni’ (such an atmosphere of Kraton).

Abstract:
Carriage is a material manifestation from the highest social structure in the Javanese culture, the kraton. But, studies on this subject are still considered as scarce and having narrow contexts. These two considerations have led this research to adopt not only Javanese, but also European culture paradigm. Using those paradigms, we compared royal carriages ornaments of Kraton Kasunanan Surakarta (named Garuda Kencana) and Kasultanan Yogyakarta (Garuda Yaksa). This study aims to uncover ornaments differences or similarities, how those ornaments symbolized the status of kraton, and how they relate to the social culture at that time. The method being use was qualitative by inductive reasoning. Data were compared and interpreted with combining field and literature data. This research concludes that those carriages are using style and symbolization concept of European ornament. Those similarities are highlighting the social realities that at 19th Century Java, European Dutch culture were dominant among the elites.

Bachelor's thesis, University of Oulu, 2017. http://urn.fi/URN:NBN:fi:oulu-201710042936.

Abstract:
Purpose of this work is to make a plot concerning leakage in loading- and unloading places and the most critical indoor areas in Kraton Oulu. Survey was carried out in spring 2017. During that time, there was two factory visits where the factory and the main points regarding this Thesis was introduced. Also, the current plan for leakage prevention was introduced and the actual hardware materials. Law and different standard requirements was also take in account from those main areas. The Finnish Safety and Chemical Agency (Tukes) have done guide book Vaarallisten kemikaalien varastointi which allows solve the main standards. Law gives quite specific demands what comes to leakage prevention in indoor areas but the actual loading- and unloading places are determinate widely. Main point is that any hazardous chemicals are not allowed to go in or through the storm drain systems. After the visits, new leakage prevention materials and methods was think through. Particularly diphenyl oil and its leakage prevention was taken in account because it is very harmful substance when it goes into oil separation well or even through it. During those two visits in Kraton some of the employees were interview regarding the need and functionality of different prevention methods. During those interviews employees highlighted the difficult circumstances for leakage prevention if something was leaking from the actual process. Therefore, the most reasonable way to prevent leakages and prevent harmful substances like diphenyl oil getting into oil separation well is fast reaction time. This way economical losses can be kept minimum and at the same time worker’s safety is guaranteed

Abstract:
The role of transformational leadership in digital business still requires more in-depth research. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the role of transformational leadership in the recovery of the home industry in the region or society based on community empowerment and digital business. This study used a qualitative approach using observation and an in-depth interviewer. This research was conducted in a public organization, namely RW 13 Kelurahan Panembahan, Kraton DIY District. The results showed that the role of leadership in running and supporting public organizations (RW) through digital business transitions is very important to restore the economy of society in general and the home industry in particular. The contribution of this research is to enrich the literature that examines transformational leadership in the context of digital business and community empowerment. Suggestions for further research are to do more research on transformational leadership in digital business development for both business organizations and public organizations.

Abstract:
The current deliverable describes the initial API available for the solvers. The API is intended to be based on the Kratos Multiphysics fraemework and will evolve during the project. The current deliverable describes the essential features of the interface and provides an initial working implementation to be used as a basis for the future developements. The initial implementation described here is currently operative on the master branch of Kratos. As of the end of July 2018 (moment of handing in of current deliverable) the interface is operative and is being used “in production”. Nevertheless, it still does not fully support the model serialization capabilities that are needed for pyCompSS and HyperLoom. The interface is documented in the project wiki page [wiki]. The same documentation is also presented in the current deliverable.

Abstract:
This deliverable focuses on the implementation of deterministic optimization algorithms and problem solvers within KRATOS open-source software. One of the main challenges of optimization algorithms in Finite-Element based optimization is how to get the gradient of response functions which are used as objective and constraints when this is not available in an explicit form. The idea is to use local sensitivity analysis to get the gradient of the response function(s)

Abstract:
This deliverable focus on the verification and validation of the solvers of Kratos Multiphysics which are used within ExaQUte. These solvers comprise standard body-fitted approaches and novel embedded approaches for the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations carried out within ExaQUte. Firstly, the standard body-fitted CFD solver is validated on a benchmark problem of high rise building - CAARC benchmark and subsequently the novel embedded CFD solver is verified against the solution of the body-fitted solver. Especially for the novel embedded approach, a workflow is presented on which the exact parameterized Computer-Aided Design (CAD) model is used in an efficient manner for the underlying CFD simulations. It includes: A note on the space-time methods Verification results for the body-fitted solver based on the CAARC benchmark Workflow consisting of importing an exact CAD model, tessellating it and performing embedded CFD on it Verification results for the embedded solver based on a high-rise building API definition and usage

McDonagh, Marian S., Jesse Wagner, Azrah Y. Ahmed, Benjamin Morasco, Devan Kansagara, and Roger Chou. Living Systematic Review on Cannabis and Other Plant-Based Treatments for Chronic Pain: May 2021 Update. Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), June 2021. http://dx.doi.org/10.23970/ahrqepccerplantpain3.

Full text
Abstract:
Overview This is the third quarterly progress report for an ongoing living systematic review on cannabis and other plant-based treatments for chronic pain. The first progress report was published in January 2021 and the second in March 2021. The draft systematic review was available for public comment from May 19 through June 15, 2021, on the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) Effective Health Care website. The systematic review synthesizes evidence on the benefits and harms of plant-based compounds (PBCs), such as cannabinoids and kratom, used to treat chronic pain, addressing concerns about severe adverse effects, abuse, misuse, dependence, and addiction. The purpose of this progress report is to describe the cumulative literature identified thus far. This report will be periodically updated with new studies as they are published and identified, culminating in an annual systematic review that provides a synthesis of the accumulated evidence. Main Points In patients with chronic (mainly neuropathic) pain with short-term treatment (4 weeks to <6 months): • Studies of cannabis-related products were grouped based on their tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) to cannabidiol (CBD) ratio using the following categories: high THC to CBD, comparable THC to CBD, and low THC to CBD. • Comparable THC to CBD ratio oral spray is probably associated with small improvements in pain severity and may be associated with small improvements in function. There was no effect in pain interference or serious adverse events. There may be a large increased risk of dizziness and sedation, and a moderate increased risk of nausea. • Synthetic THC (high THC to CBD) may be associated with moderate improvement in pain severity and increased risk of sedation, and large increased risk of nausea. Synthetic THC is probably associated with a large increased risk of dizziness. • Extracted whole-plant high THC to CBD ratio products may be associated with large increases in risk of withdrawal due to adverse events and dizziness. • Evidence on whole-plant cannabis, low THC to CBD ratio products (topical CBD), other cannabinoids (cannabidivarin), and comparisons with other active interventions was insufficient to draw conclusions. • Other key adverse event outcomes (psychosis, cannabis use disorder, cognitive deficits) and outcomes on the impact on opioid use were not reported. • No evidence on other plant-based compounds, such as kratom, met criteria for this review.
