Der Beitrag setzt sich zum Ziel, Erwin Kruk als eine große Individualität in der Literatur der masurischen Region zu präsentieren. Das Hauptaugenmerk wird auf das Problem gerichtet, wie der polnisch-masurische Autor die Realität seiner Vorfahren rekonstruiert und wie er versucht, ihre Kultur und die Erinnerung an sie unter der zeitgenössischen Bevölkerung aufrechtzuerhalten. Basierend auf der relevanten Sekundärliteratur, wird der in Kruks literarischer Welt vorkommende schwierige Themenkomplex gruppiert. Erwähnt werden auch die bekannten autobiographischen, psychologischen oder soziologischen Interpretationen seiner ausgewählten Romane und Essays.

Abstract:
The population growth with its activities causes pressure on the Krukut River. Load management of pollutants that enters the river is based on the self purification of the river. This study aims to analyze the river characteristics and degradation rate of Krukut River. Krukut River which is a research location has a length of ± 9.04 km. Characteristics of Krukut River has a type of small rocky riverbed and irregular with manning coefficient from 0.035 to 0.045. The depth ranging from 0,99 - 2 m, with a current velocity from 0,3 to 1,29 m/s. Krukut River discharge at 2,873-7,889 m3/sec. Streeter Phelps modeling to find out the constant rate of degradation of Krukut River which resulted in the value of DO and BOD. The rate of increase of dissolved oxygen (Ka) with the value of Ka range of 1,586-4,542 d-1, the standard value should be 1,494 d-1. The results of degradation rate (Kd) of the study obtained values range 0,285–0,394 d-1 with a default value of 0,501 d-1. For a settling rate (Ks) the range of 0,070 d-1 –0,096 d-1 with a standard value should be 0,751 d-1 which means the precipitation process is quite slow. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui status mutu air dan potensi beban pencemar Sungai Krukut. metode yang digunakan untuk analisis status mutu air ialah Indeks Pencemar (PP No. 82/2001). baku mutu yang digunakan ialah baku mutu air Kelas I dan Kelas II. Status mutu air sungai krukut dengan baku mutu kelas I ialah cemar berat di seluruh stasiun pemantauan, sedangkan dengan baku mutu kelas II ialah cemar sedang-cemar berat. potensi beban pencemar sungai krukut berasal dari limbah domestik rumah tangga. potensi beban pencemar total sungai krukut sebesar 669.940 kg/hari dengan beban pencemar BOD sebesar 203.562,89 kg/hari, beban COD sebesar 275.814,4 kg/hari, dan beban pencemar TSS sebesar 190.562,7 kg/hari.

Abstract:
A monograph of Curarea, a neotropical genus in the plant family Menispermaceae, is presented. Curarea is distinguished from related genera by the combination of staminate flowers with sepals in two whorls and pistillate flowers with three petals, three carpels and usually elongated carpophores bearing three sessile drupelets. Nine species are recognised, amongst them two new to science, C.gentryana from Ecuador and C.barnebyana, from Ecuador and Peru. Additionally, two new combinations, C.iquitana and C.tomentocarpa, are proposed for distinct taxa recovered in a multivariate analysis of quantitative characters of the broadly distributed and morphologically variable C.toxicofera. The anatomy and morphology of species in the genus is documented, identification key, species descriptions, distribution maps and a preliminary conservation assessment for all accepted species are also provided. Of the nine species recognised here, C.barnebyana is assigned a preliminary status of Vulnerable, C.crassa (known only from the coastal Atlantic Forest in Brazil) and C.gentryana (endemic to western Ecuador) are both assigned a preliminary status of Endangered.

Abstract:
Results are presented from a field study performed on the Ciliwung, Sunter and Krukut Rivers in Jakarta. The rivers are used as raw water sources for Jakarta municipal water supply systems, yet the rivers are used as receiving bodies by some inhabitants and industries. In this study, the quality of the rivers' water was determined using a Water Quality Index (WQI) which is scaled from zero to a hundred. The higher number of the WQI indicates, the better quality of the river water. Among the results presented are the WQI and heavy metals concentration. River water sampled from upstream of Jakarta, intake areas, and estuary areas were tested during the dry and rainy seasons. In the dry season the WQIs of Ciliwung, Sunter and Krukut Rivers ranged between 21-42, 20-29 and 21-38, respectively. In the rainy season the WQIs of Ciliwung, Sunter and Krukut Rivers ranged between 34-47, 32-50, and 34-47, respectively. The level of heavy metals did not exceed current Indonesian Standards. It was concluded that the overall water quality of the Ciliwung, Sunter, and Krukut Rivers was between very poor and poor, and the rivers were polluted by Cu, Pb, Cd, Zn and Hg.

Handling pigs with care before slaughter is beneficial for both animal welfare and meat quality. Water showering pigs in lalrage prior to slaughter is considered to calm pigs, improve meat quality and reduce slaughter line contamination (Logtestijn, Corstiaensen and Kruijf, 1977; Smulders, Romme, Kruijf, Eikelenboom and Corstiaensen, 1982). The objective of this experiment was to investigate whether water-spraying pigs, in the lairage of a commercial abattoir, reduced the amount of fighting and if it improved meat quality.

Pertumbuhan penduduk DKI Jakarta yang pesat adalah salah satu permasalahan yang kompleks bagi penyediaan air bersih terutama karena limbah domestik yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan masyarakat. Sungai sebagai badan air penerima limbah domestik menjadi salah satu sumber daya alam yang rentan terhadap pencemaran. Sungai Krukut adalah salah satu sungai yang digunakan sebagai air baku air bersih PDAM dan saat ini telah tercemar akibat kegiatan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis mutu air dan menentukan upaya pengendalian pencemaran air Sungai Krukut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode gabungan antara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Metode SWOT (Strength, weakness, opportunity, and Threat) digunakan untuk menentukan upaya pengendalian pencemaran air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa status mutu air pada 5 titik pemantauan dengan metode Indeks Pencemar yaitu (7,65), (7,54), (6,93), (6,95) dan (9,03), sehingga mutu air tergolong dalam kategori tercemar sedang. Upaya pengendalian pencemaran air yang dapat diterapkan di Sungai Krukut adalah (1) Melakukan penertiban masyarakat yang tinggal dan usaha di daerah sempadan sungai (2) Mengadakan sosialisasi dan pelatihan kepada masyarakat dan UMKM tentang pentingnya pengelolaan limbah (3) Meningkatkan pengawasan pembuangan limbah cair UMKM (4) Bantuan pemerintah dalam membuat sistem dan menerapkan IPAL terpadu untuk kegiatan UMKM dan permukiman kumuh (5) Implementasi program pengendalian pencemaran air

Abstract:
This report describes the process of developing and evaluating a prototype for a user friendly, experience based B2C (business to consumer) e-commerce business for a small company that manufactures and sells ceramic art handicrafts. The prototype was developed from scratch since the ceramist did not have a website prior to this project. This project adopted a user-centred approach which means that the needs of the future users of the website was considered throughout the entire project. Another goal was that the website should be exciting, creative and useable. Lastly, the website should be able to mediate the unique point of view of the artist. This project was inspired by the four principles of interaction design. The future users of the website was involved during the initial phase of the project through interviews and also during contextual inquiry sessions to evaluate the prototype. The initial phase revealed that the users needed a website that was easy to navigate, that the website should be aesthetically pleasing and that the content of the website had to be easy to access. Based on the needs that was established in the initial phase a prototype was built. The evaluation of the prototype revealed issues with the main navigation, and that the user experience didn’t meet the goal set by the stakeholder. This led to an iteration of the design process which resulted in a new proposed design with a corrected navigation and a more interesting layout for a more exciting user experience.

Abstract:
This thesis is a study of pottery in the museum world. Throughout the study, questions along the lines of how, why and what we exhibit are brought up and answered. The study is done through observations and interviews with seven different museums, four of which are located in Sweden and three in Italy. The author has also used museological literature and theories in order to strengthen the essay and show that the issues brought up in the observations are known since before in the field, but still exist in the museums today.The exhibiting of pottery comes with several issues, such as overcrowding of displays, requirements of pre-knowledge from the visitors, aesthetical problems with broken, coarse or fine pottery and epistemological prob-lems. Epistemology is a subject that seems to be partly ignored in the observed museums, despite it being general knowledge that fewer visitors will read the text the longer it is. Other epistemological problems that are brought up are the issues of text placement, vocabulary and actual mediated information. These problems are brought up throughout the essay and explained, with a smaller section that discusses possible improvements to them, which have been brought up by researchers in the field.In interviews with curators of the museums, thoughts about what the visitors see and understand compared to what the museums want them the see are presented. Also their views on the possibilities of interaction with pottery as a mediator and whether they focus primarily on aesthetics or learning in the exhibitions are shown. This essay is not meant to be a decider between what is right or wrong concerning the exhibiting of pottery, but could be used as a stepping-stone towards such studies. This is a two years master’s thesis in Archive, Library and Museum studies.
Den här uppsatsen är en studie av krukor i museivärlden. Genomgående i studien kommer frågor som hur, varför och vad vi ställer ut tas upp och besvaras. Studien har gjorts genom observationer och intervjuer med sju olika museer, fyra belägna i Sverige och tre i Italien. Författaren har också använt sig av museologisk litteratur och museologiska teorier för att stärka uppsatsen och visa att de problem som tagits upp i observationerna är kända sedan tidigare inom fältet, men trots det existerar i museer idag.Utställande av krukor medför flera problem, såsom överfulla montrar, krav på förkunskaper hos besökarna, estetiska problem med trasig, bruks- eller finkeramik samt epistemologiska problem. Epistemologi verkar vara ett ämne som delvis ignoreras i de observerade museerna, trots att det är allmänt känt att färre besökare kommer att läsa texten ju längre den är. Andra epistemologiska problem som behandlas är sådana som textplacering, vokabu-lär och faktiskt förmedlad kunskap. Dessa problem tas upp och förklaras i uppsatsen med en mindre sektion som diskuterar möjliga förbättringar av dem, baserat på idéer från forskare inom fältet.I intervjuerna med curatorer från museerna presenteras deras tankar om vad besökarna ser och förstår jäm-fört med vad museerna vill att de ska förstå. Också deras syn på möjligheterna av interaktion genom krukor och huruvida de fokuserar främst på det estetiska eller pedagogiska i utställningarna visas. Den här uppsatsen är inte menad att skilja mellan rätt och fel vid utställandet av krukor, men kan användas som ett avstamp mot sådana studier. Det här är en två-årig masteruppsats i Arkiv-, Biblioteks- och Museivetenskap.

Uppsatsen undersöker och jämför tre forskares och fem gymnasieelevers tolkningar av några olika aspekter av Bram Stokers verk Dracula. I uppsatsen har Judith Langers och Johnathan Cullers teorier inspirerat utformningen av frågeställningen som berör påverkan av litterära och andra erfarenheter. Undersökningens resultat och analys visar på både skillnader och likheter mellan forskarnas och elevernas olika tolkningar, inte minst vad gäller sexualitetens betydelse i verket. Undersökningen har också visat att elevernas tidigare erfarenheter påverkat förväntningarna på Dracula, men inte påverkat förståelsen eller tolkningarna negativt utan istället hjälpt dem genom verket.

Cette thèse est consacrée à un groupe d'intellectuels qui s'est constitué à Moscou, à la Faculté de philosophie, au début des années cinquante et a fonctionné, les uns partant les autres arrivant, jusqu'à la fin des années quatre-vingt. Ce travail a pour objectif d'analyser cette expérience philosophique, qui articule une recherche théorique avec une pratique originale (les " jeux d'organisation "), en tenant ensemble les différentes dimensions qu'elle présente : les idées elles-mêmes, la formation du groupe et les principes de son fonctionnement, les relations avec ses contextes sociaux. La notion d'expérience, telle qu'elle a été proposée notamment par Michel Foucault, devient ici essentielle dans la mesure où elle permet d'étudier les articulations entre les formes de savoir, les formes de pouvoir et les formes de subjectivité. Dans le cas concret du Cercle de méthodologie, le recours à cette notion permet d'éviter le schéma binaire, encore très répandu, selon lequel ne pouvait exister en Union soviétique que la vulgate marxiste dans sa fonction idéologique et, à l'opposé, la dissidence politique. Dans ses dimensions historique et sociologique, ce travail étudie les conditions de l'exercice de la pensée philosophique non seulement en URSS, mais également en Russie d'avant la Révolution, pour constater une sorte de continuité entre les XIXe et XXe siècles, malgré toutes les différences de conditions sociales et politiques : l'utilisation des conceptions philosophiques à des fins idéologiques avait en effet commencé en Russie bien avant l'arrivée du marxisme et ses dogmatisation et idéologisation ultérieures. En ce sens, la démarche du Cercle de méthodologie doit être vue comme la première expérience, en Russie, d'une pensée critique qui réfléchit sur les formes et les fondements même de la pensée.

Abstract:
Berättelsen om testosteronet. En historisk studie av vetenskapen om det manliga könshormonet inom det manliga klimakteriet och homosexualitet. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur historien och idéerna om manliga klimakteriet och testosteron är kopplade till de idéer som finns om sexualitet, moral och hur läkarna såg på det manliga klimakteriet. Syftet är också att förstå hur idéerna om det manliga klimakteriet har förändrats från 1920-talet jämfört med idag och hur det har diskuterats under åren av forskare. Vikten av testosteron och vilken roll idéerna om testosteron har spelat är också av betydelse för syftet i denna uppsats. I uppsatsen använder jag sociologen Peter Conrads teori om medikalisering. Conrad beskriver medikalisering genom att säga att det är en process där icke medicinska problem förändras och bli definierade och behandlas som medicinska problem och detta görs vanligen i form av sjukdom och störningar. I den här uppsatsen beskriver jag hur idéer om ett manligt klimakterium utvecklades under perioden 1920-talet – 1960-talet. Jag beskriver de idéer forskarna och läkarna hade om vad ett manligt klimakterium kunde vara. I uppsatsen undersöks även vilken effekt upptäckten av testosteron hade på idéer om det manliga klimakteriet. Debatten som läkarna har haft om det finns ett manligt klimakterium eller inte behandlas även i uppsatsen. I uppsatsen presenterar jag fyra olika svenska läkare och en finsk läkare från perioden 1920-talet – 1960-talet och behandlar deras idéer om det manliga klimakteriet och testosteron. Då diskussionen vänder sig till testosteronet presenterar jag Paul de Kruif som publicerade boken The Male Hormone (1945) och var en av de första att göra reklam för testosteronbehandling. Jag beskriver även medikaliseringen av det manliga klimakteriet och testosteron och varför det manliga klimakteriet och testosteron inte fick samma genomslag som det kvinnliga. I denna uppsats behandlas också förhållandet mellan de manliga könshormonen och homosexualitet. Jag undersöker varför läkare försökte använda testosteron och andra manliga hormon som ”botemedel” av homosexuella män och jag beskriver ett experiment som gjordes på homosexuella av den svenska doktorn Erik Lundberg.
The purpose of this essay is to investigate the history and ideas of the male menopause and testosterone and how they are linked to ideas about sexuality, morality and how the doctors viewed the male menopause. The aim is also to understand how ideas about the male menopause has changed from the 1920’s compared to today and how it has been discussed by scientists. The importance of testosterone and the role the ideas of testosterone have played is also of importance for the purpose of this essay. In the essay, I use the sociologist Peter Conrad's theory of medicalization. Conrad describes medicalization by saying that it is a process where non-medical problems change and become defined and treated as medical problems, and this is usually done in the form of disease and disorders. In this essay, I describe how the ideas of a male menopause evolved in the period 1920’s - 1960’s. I describe the ideas scientists and doctors had about what a male menopause could be. This essay also examines the impact the discovery of testosterone had on ideas about the male menopause. The debate that doctors have had if there is a male menopause or not is also discussed in the essay. In this essay, I present four Swedish doctors and a Finnish doctor from the period 1920’s - 1960’s and their ideas about the male menopause and testosterone. When the discussion turns to testosterone, I present Paul de Kruif who published the book The Male Hormone (1945) and was one of the first to promote testosterone treatment. I also describe the medicalization of male menopause and testosterone and why the male menopause and testosterone did not have the same impact as the female menopause. This essay also discusses the relationship between the male hormone and homosexuality. I examine why doctors tried to use testosterone and other male hormones as a "cure" of gay men and I describe an experiment conducted on homosexuals by the Swedish doctor Erik Lundberg.
