Full textAccording to the Ministry of Health (MINSA), anemia constitutes a public health problem, which affects children in situations of poverty. However, an inadequate diet, based on fats, empty proteins and carbohydrates can lead infants of any age to suffer from this disease. To cope with this disease, many families supplement the feeding of their children with vitamins, which have various sources. At present, the discovery and enhancement of the nutritional properties of cushuro, encourage the presentation of a product made from said algae. Kumi Gomitas, is a nutritional supplement, not candy, designed especially for children, from the extract of cushuro, an algae from the high Andean regions, rich in protein and iron. Kumi Gummies are also enriched with camu camu as a source of vitamin C and sweetened with honey. Kumi Gomitas, will be sold mainly in supermarkets, convenience stores and pharmacy chains. The financial evaluation shows that the project is sensitive to price changes, since in the event of slight price changes (-13%) the project allows generating profits, in the same way when the price of cushuro increases S / 40.85. Finally, we conclude that the Kumi Gomitas project is viable and this is reflected through the economic evaluation, which results in a NPV for investors of S/125,699 and an IRR of 23.91%. Likewise, the project has low risk, because the investment can be recovered in 2.49 years.

Full textThe aim of this study was to determine the effects of different competitive disciplines in karate (sports fight - kumite and forms - kata) on morpho-functional characteristics in senior karate athletes. In addition, differences in relation to training experience, as well as the acute physiological response to a specific physical exertion during the simulated competition were determined. The sample included 72 athletes primarily divided into kata (n = 33) and kumite (n = 39) group, and to training experience into three groups (oldest: n = 23, medium: n = 24, and youngest: n = 25). All subjects were evaluated through a battery of 36 morpho-functional tests. Differences were found between two competitive disciplines. Kumite athletes had significantly longer dimensions (p < 0.01), whereas kata competitors had more pronounced subcutaneous adipose tissue accompanied by higher bone mass and superior flexibility (p < 0.05). Furthermore, kumite athletes had better indicators of absolute power in jumping performance and aerobic capacity (p < 0.01). Differences also occurred in all variables of vertical jumping assessment (jump height and maximum power), functional indicators (p < 0.05) and muscle strength evaluation (p < 0.01) in relation to training experience. All differences found were in favor of the oldest group. No differences were found in physiological responses to acute load of the specific competitive discipline, or in body core temperature measured. The results of thisresearch indicate that training for different karate disciplines had led to certain specific morpho-functional changes in the body. These changes were partially affected by specific training regimes and training experience.

Full textIn der vorliegenden Arbeit wurde die Einsetzbarkeit von Polfaser-Vlieswirkstoffen als Tiefenfiltermedium untersucht. Basierend auf dem Aufbau textiler Tiefenfiltermedien und den Kenntnissen zur Nähwirktechnik wurden unterschiedliche Polfaser-Vlieswirkstoffe gefertigt und getestet. Die experimentellen Arbeiten umfassten technologische Untersuchungen zu erzielbaren Eigenschaften von Polfaser-Vlieswirkstoffen Kunit in Abhängigkeit vom Faserstoff und maschinen-technischen Parametern. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt war die zielgerichtete Beeinflussung des Dichtegradienten zwischen An- und Ausströmseite. Beschrieben wurden als geeignete Verfahren zur einseitigen Verdichtung von Polfaser-Vlieswirkstoffen das hydrodynamische Aufbringen von Vliesen mittels energiereicher Wasserstrahlen und das Auflaminieren von Feinfaser-Spinnvliesstoff (Meltblown). Die verdichteten Varianten werden mit Hycoknit und Melaknit bezeichnet. Bewertet wurden die gefertigten Polfaser-Vlieswirkstoffe auf Basis textil-physikalischer und partikelbezogener Prüfungen. Die Auswertung der Ergebnisse erfolgte im Vergleich zu handelsüblichen Tiefenfiltermedien der Filterklassen F5 bis F8. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass die neuen Polfaser-Vlieswirkstoffe hohe Staubspeicherkapazitäten besitzen. Der Anfangsabscheidegrad ist vergleichbar mit den Werten von Standardfiltermedien der Filterklassen F5/F6. Bereits nach kurzer Bestaubungszeit steigt der Abscheidegrad steil an und befindet sich am Ende der Prüfungen auf dem Niveau von Feinstaubfiltermedien der Filterklassen F7/F8. In Abhängigkeit von den Fertigungsparametern sind sowohl der Druckdifferenzverlauf als auch der Abscheidegrad in einem breiten Bereich einstellbar. Im Filtermedium angesammelte Partikel sind durch Druckluftimpulse im beträchtlichen Umfang entfernbar. Eine ökonomisch sinnvolle und umweltbewusste Mehrfachnutzung der Filtermedien wird damit möglich. Anwendbar sind die neuartigen Materialien auf Grund des möglichen breiten Eigenschaftsspektrums neben dem Einsatz als Filtermedium unter anderem für Isolationszwecke, im Schutzbereich, zur Polsterung sowie in der Hygiene und Medizin

Using Rasch Measurement to Analysis Skill in Karate Kumite Adviser: Han-Dau Yau Author: Hsiang-Ming Hsu Date of Defense: June 27, 2007 Abstract The purpose of the study was to use Rasch Measurement to analyze skills of the male karate of competition under 60 kg in 15th Asian Games Doha 2006. Subjects were nineteen athletes for the Men's Kumite -60kg of Karate in the 15th Asian Games Doha 2006. the method of the study was to collect material by video, comparison with official record. According to characters of Kumite, we used Multi-facet Rasch Model Analysis to construct measurement model of four facets consisting of Athletes(nineteen people)、Opponents(nineteen people)、Type of tactics(3 kinds)、and skill motion(twenty-five items). Scoring catalogs were separated to Three points、Two points、One point、Zero point、Lost one point、Lost two point、Lost three point, and marked 6、5、4、3、2、1、and 0 in order. Results: (1) estimated proficiency of athletes provided by Rasch Analysis matched real rankings. (2) initiative attack is the most important in the facet of tactics, and counter attack is less than attack ; then experienced athletes had lower frequencies of foul. (3) the estimation of difficulty of scoring catalogs was good, and there were 78% of Zero point, which is highest frequency, and 11.76% of One point、7.90% of Lost one point、0.86% of Two points、0.67% of Lost two points、0.57% of Three points、and 0.19% of Lost three points. (4) skill motion: the frequency of middle reverse punch of One point motion is the highest one (285 times)、the frequency of rear leg middle round kick of Two points motion is the highest one (64 times)、and the frequency throwing technic of Three motion is the highest one (63 times). From above all, we could make a conclusion that Rasch Measurement could quantify the competition skills of Kumite in Karate

In Indonesia, there are many traditional games and theater. Both games and theater can be playing by all person from a kid until mature. The popular theater is playing doll and shadow together by person and It is called Wayang Kulit theater. Many storytellings in Wayang Kulit from comedy, history, romance and other. Romance story is popular story than another story which is Ramayana story. In this story, there is five character including Anoman, Sinta, Rama, Laksma, and Rahwana. In the Wayang Kulit theater usually there are Gunungan to give sign background or storytelling changed. Rahwana is a bad character and others are a good character. The Wayang Kulit theater using hand gesture recognition for playing. The 3D object made from Blender which is blender is a tool for designing 2D or 3D object, many features inside for designing or modeling, give the texture of object and etc. Blender is free than another tool for the same purpose and it is user-friendly so user can be understanding the program or tool quickly. The programming using C# by related Unity. Unity is game development tool and many great games made from Unity because of so many features, the tool so interactive and the important thing it can be relating to Kinect. Firstly, in theater need two hands to generate or move Wayang Kulit so need clustering method for cluster right and left hand. The clustering method using DBSCAN clustering because can be cluster automatically and efficiently than another method. There are 2 important variables in DBSCAN including Eps and MinPts which are need validate threshold to get good result of the cluster. The right and left hand will search about each median for next processing. The search median can be namely labeling processing because the system will be choosing which one median1 and median2. After finding each median the processing can recognize about gesture movement. The gesture is choosing the Wayang Kulit in above there are six objects. After that, the distance between median1 and median2 will be compared. There is three distance in this performance. The first distance is fighting effect which is distance range is 50 to 100 that occur if Wayang Kulit meets the Rahwana so show the fighting ability. The second distance is playing the animation in each Wayang Kulit and the distance is 100 to 200. The last is important gesture because each Wayang Kulit can show each ability and the distance range more than 200. The last, gesture recognition using template matching method which is there are three templates including down, right, left direction. Each direction will be shown different ability in each Wayang Kulit but only two Wayang Kulit has three abilities and the other just has one ability. The evaluation of this research consists of DBSCAN threshold, gesture recognition, and UI / UX evaluation. The DBSCAN threshold evaluation looks for the best threshold for clustering right and left hand. From the result, the best threshold is 25 because it can be clustered median1 and median2 exactly. For the gesture recognition evaluation, we will observe 20 people from various knowledge discipline for playing Wayang Kulit performance and the gesture recognition focus in the last threshold that distance range more than 200. The average of all result above 90% and the best result is median 2 on gesture 1 which is result 100%. The last UI / UX evaluation which is 20 people of hand gesture recognition will get a questionnaire and ask to fill it after playing Wayang Kulit performance. The UI / UX must contain 6 factors including attractiveness, efficiency, perspicuity, dependability, stimulation, and novelty. From the evaluation result overall is good for our system. The only improvement in the future the result is very good it means our system can be interested people to developing our system in the future through using another method, change of story, change the Wayang Kulit performance, and others.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of hyperbaric oxygen treatment twice a week on sports performance and muscle damage in karate kumite players in 8-week high intensity interval training. Methods: The subjects were 10 karate kumite players. High intensity interval training was executed by cycle ergometer. The intensity of training baseline was determined by anaerobic power test. The subjects are divided into “hyperbaric oxygen intervention group” and “control group”. The high intensity of protocol was set as 75% of baseline and low intensity as 25% of baseline for both groups, whereas both groups went through interval training at high intensity for 10 seconds and then low intensity for 20 seconds. Hyperbaric oxygen intervention group undertook 30-minute hyperbaric oxygen treatment 12 hours after the training. The blood test, which included blood sample collection for Creatine kinase and Lactic dehydrogenase, was carried out after the second training in Week 1 to Week 3 and Week 5 to Week 7. The performance testing including health-related fitness, skill-related fitness, maximal oxygen consumption and knee isokinetic testing was carried out at pre-test, Week 4 and Week 8. Results: After 8-week high intensity interval training with hyperbaric oxygen treatment twice a week, there was no significant difference on skill-related fitness and maximal oxygen consumption in experimental group(p < .05). There was significant decrease on Creative kinase for experimental group between Week 3 and Week 5(p < .05). There was significant increase on knee isokinetic testing(p < .05). Conclusion: Hyperbaric oxygen treatment accelerates the recovery of physical fitness and fatigue elimination. Hyperbaric oxygen intervention recovers athletic performance to pre-training status.

Background: The duration of a kumite bout is 3 minutes for men and 2 minutes for women. The energy system is mixed by anaerobic and aerobic. The adequate fitness is the basis for excellent sports performance. Interval training is one of the most efficient and time-saving training program. Progressive interval training can mimic the energetic system used in Kumite competition. This study aim to investigate the effects of progressive interval training on sports performance in karate kumite players. Purpose: To investigate the effects of 8 weeks progressive interval training on sports performance in karate kumite players. Methods: The subjects were 24 college karate kumite players. Progressive interval training executed by cycle ergometer. The intensity of training baseline was determined by 30-second Wingate anaerobic power test. And the high intensity of protocol was set as 50%, 60%, and 70% of baseline; low intensity as 25% of baseline. A set was gone high intensity for 10-second and then low intensity for 20-second. The sets repeated 6 times (3-minute). The training session was gone 5-set and 3-miniute for recovery between each set. All the session was gone within 8-week and 3-time for each week. The performance testing including, health-related fitness, skill-related fitness, maximal oxygen consumption, knee isokinetic testing, and blood sample collection for Creatine kinase and Lactic dehydrogenase. Results: There was significant increase between pre- and post-test on standing long jump, sit-up, reaction, 30-meter sprint, T agility test, and anaerobic power (p<.05). Conclusion: 8 weeks progressive interval training increased’ lower limbs’ muscular power, anaerobic power, and anaerobic capability in karate kumite players, but there were no significant different for the aerobic capacity. Wayang Kulit performances, originated in Indonesia, is known as one of the predecessor of animation; however, there is no definite methodology that supports the development process of these performances that we know nowadays. This paper aims to study the applications of the famous “12 basic principles of animation” to the Wayang Kulit performances. These principles were originally developed to make 2D animation, especially character animation, more realistic and entertaining and they have been used intensively in 2D and 3D animation production. A qualitative study is done by observing their appearances and possible variations in the Wayang Kulit Performances.

Purpose: The study was designed to explore the effect of self-verbal cueing on hitting rate of karate hook kick and roundhouse kick. Methods: Subjects were 10 collegiate karate kumite athletes and were assigned evenly into experimental and control groups. Experimental group had the one by one self-verbal intervention with the researcher one hour a week for six weeks. All subjects were tested on the hitting rate of designated and random hook kicks and roundhouse kicks with the pretest in the first week, midtest in the third week, and the posttest a week within the end of the intervention. Results: After six weeks of self-verbal cueing interventions, hitting rates of designated and random hook kick and roundhouse kick were all improved significantly. No difference was found between experimental and control groups on hitting rates of designated and random hook kick and roundhouse kick. Conclusion: Improvement on karate performance was observed after six weeks of self-verbal cueing intervention. Future research could recruit more subjects, and shorter cues should be designed for a better mastering of the skills.

Full textO modelo de dissertação escolhido foi a transformação do relatório científico do núcleo de treino ao longo da época 2015/2016, cuja função foi a de acompanhar um grupo de atletas da modalidade Karate Shotokan na vertente de Kumite. Foram recolhidos dados dos atletas que compunham o respetivo núcleo de treino desportivo ao longo do desenvolvimento da componente curricular do mestrado, analisando os seus resultados no âmbito da modalidade e do escalão etário. Com este trabalho procedemos à recolha dos dados em dois momentos, nas variáveis antropométricos, em alguns testes que avaliam as capacidades funcionais e na aplicação de questionários que determinam o grau de satisfação quanto à prática desportiva. Paralelamente a este processo elaborámos as progressões pedagógicas do ensino das principais técnicas do Karate Shotokan na vertente de Kumite que poderá ser uma parte importante para o processo do ensino de aprendizagem. As análises de tratamento dos dados tinham dois objetivos, um primeiro que fosse o conhecimento profundo do núcleo de treino e o segundo a constituição de uma ferramenta útil para o processo de treino colocado à disposição dos outros técnicos da secção. As amostras de atletas, de um universo de dez atletas aptos para o treino do Karate Shotokan, foram analisadas apenas cinco atletas que possuíam a graduação mínima de cinto vermelho (4º Kyu), nível este necessário para as bases técnicas próprias para competir em Kumite, e sendo estes escolhidos para serem acompanhados ao longo da época desportiva. Concluímos afirmando que os dados são meramente descritivos de todo o processo de estágio realizado ao longo do ano, observamos melhorias nas capacidades funcionais ao longo do ano, que o enriquecimento adquirido ao longo da parte curricular fez com que alguns processos de treino melhorassem com resultados positivos em competições.
The dissertation model chosen was the transformation of the scientific report of the training nucleus along the 2015/2016 season, whose function was to accompany a group of athletes of the Karate Shotokan modality in the Kumite. The data of the athletes of the training nucleus were collected during the development of the curricular component of the masters, analysing their results within the modality and the age group. With this work we collected the data in two moments, in the anthropometric variables, in some tests that evaluate the functional capacities and in the application of questionnaires that determine the degree of satisfaction regarding the sport practice. Parallel to this process we elaborate the pedagogical progressions of the teaching of the main techniques of Karate Shotokan in the Kumite that could be an important part for the learning teaching process. The analysis and treatment of the data had two objectives, one that was the deep knowledge of the training nucleus and the second the constitution of a useful tool for the training process made available to the other section coaches. The samples from a universe of ten athletes fit for the training of Shotokan Karate were analyzed only five athletes who had the minimum graduation of red belt (4th Kyu), level necessary for the technical bases to compete in Kumite, and being chosen to be accompanied throughout the sports season. We conclude that the data are descriptive of the whole process, with an improvement in the training and competition resulting from the knowledge acquired during the curricular process of the master's.

Effects of wearing body protector on protector adjustment and scoring technique in world-class Karate Kumite athletes Tsai, Yi-Hsin Advisor: Liu, Chiang Abstract Since 2011, World Karate Federation has ruled all kumite contestants must wear body protector equipment in any kumite competitions. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of top 5 competitions of Karate World Championships for all weight classes wearing body protector on their adjusting times of karate-gi and body protectors, fighting styles, scoring position, scoring times and duration of match in total of the 20th competition (not wearing body protector equipment in 2010, hereafter referred to as “non-wearing”) and 21st one (wearing body protector equipment used, hereafter referred to as “wearing”). The subjects of this study mainly were the top 5 male and female contestants of the World Karate Championships, the highest level of competition for Karate, held every two years and analyzed contestants’ adjusting times of karate-gi and body protectors, fighting styles, scoring position, scoring times by utilizing video image analysis afterwards. The study results were as follows: 1. Adjusting times of karate-gi and body protectors: (1) Men contestants : the average number of contestants’ adjusting karate-gi and body protectors was one times every 6.20 seconds in the 21st competition (“wearing”) which was more frequently than the number of one times every 11.27 seconds in the 20th one (“non-wearing”). (2) Female contestants : the average number of contestants’ adjusting karate-gi and body protectors was one times every 6.67 seconds in the 21st competition (“wearing”) which was more frequently than the number of one times every 11.53 seconds in the 20th one (“non-wearing”). 2. Fighting styles changes: transfer Chudan Uchi in the 20th competition (“non-wearing”) to Jodan Uchi in the 21st one (“wearing”); the use of sweep techniques such as de Ashi-barai, Ko Uchi Gari, Kani Waza etc. were increase. 3. Duration of match: the 21st competition (“wearing”) time was longer than the time of the 20th one (“non-wearing”) due to the interference of adjusting karate-gi and body protectors. The conclusion of this study was that top 5 competitions of Karate World Championships for all weight classes increased the adjusting times of karate-gi and body protectors, chiefly changed the fighting styles into Jodan Uchi, was different scoring position and scoring times, and enhanced the period of mach. Full textThe Museu Nacional de Etnologia (MNE) has a collection from Indonesia with about a thousand objects related to different cultural expressions, including performative practices. Includes 421 wayang kulit puppets acquired in three places on the island of Java: Cirebon, Surakarta and Jakarta, the pre-sent investigation concerns those objets. We introduce the ambit of the collection’s making and its gathering context. This explanation is engaged with our methodological choices, in order to resolve issues arising from the limits imposed by the scarcity of information at the acquisition period and the difficulties of returning to the field. The theorical framework of the wayang kulit in the context of Java is elaborated according to our interpretation of this type of theater as an expression of visual art and per-formative practice, dependent on the creative abilities of the puppeteer. To the public the success of the presentation dependes on the puppeteer’s performance interwoven with the figures that form ima-ges moving on a screen. It also depends on the continuous transmission, of the values, attitudes and traits of the characters, through repetition and innovation stories. The methodological approach for identifying the puppets of the MNE is developed from three perspectives: the research literature relat-ed to puppets of wayang kulit; the information contained in the documentation of the inventory files, written in 1974 based on data supplied by the collector, and by last the observation of the figures, their morphology and iconography, revealing styles, regional differences and similarities.

Full textKarate is an invited Sport in the Olympic Games that will be organized in Tokyo 2020, and the World Karate Federation expects that Karate becomes an Official Olympic Sport. The central objective of the present Thesis was to make a systematic review of the published studies, that allow identifying the distinctive factors of the Karatecas with the best competitive performance; as an additional objective we worked to provide reference values related to Elite Athletes’ performance, in areas like maximal strength, muscle power, and velocity. It was followed the systematic review ’s method proposed by Harris et al. (2013). The results reported significant differences between Elite and Non-Elite Athletes, and among the Elite level (winners and losers). Between Elite and Non-Elite Athletes, the discriminating factors are: a predominantly ecto-mesomorphic somatotype; greater aerobic capacity; less blood lactate after work; higher levels of maximal strength and muscle power; more efficient coordinative strategies in Mawashigeri’s performance; better control in static and dynamic balance; better control in visual and kinesthetic mental images; greater skills in decision-making, during Kumite; a more offensive fighting strategy. Between winning and losing Elite Athletes, in Kumite, the most distinctive factors are anticipation skills of the opponent’s actions, a greater attacking initiative and better coping strategies in Kumite.

Full textIn der vorliegenden Arbeit wurde die Einsetzbarkeit von Polfaser-Vlieswirkstoffen als Tiefenfiltermedium untersucht. Basierend auf dem Aufbau textiler Tiefenfiltermedien und den Kenntnissen zur Nähwirktechnik wurden unterschiedliche Polfaser-Vlieswirkstoffe gefertigt und getestet. Die experimentellen Arbeiten umfassten technologische Untersuchungen zu erzielbaren Eigenschaften von Polfaser-Vlieswirkstoffen Kunit in Abhängigkeit vom Faserstoff und maschinen-technischen Parametern. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt war die zielgerichtete Beeinflussung des Dichtegradienten zwischen An- und Ausströmseite. Beschrieben wurden als geeignete Verfahren zur einseitigen Verdichtung von Polfaser-Vlieswirkstoffen das hydrodynamische Aufbringen von Vliesen mittels energiereicher Wasserstrahlen und das Auflaminieren von Feinfaser-Spinnvliesstoff (Meltblown). Die verdichteten Varianten werden mit Hycoknit und Melaknit bezeichnet. Bewertet wurden die gefertigten Polfaser-Vlieswirkstoffe auf Basis textil-physikalischer und partikelbezogener Prüfungen. Die Auswertung der Ergebnisse erfolgte im Vergleich zu handelsüblichen Tiefenfiltermedien der Filterklassen F5 bis F8. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass die neuen Polfaser-Vlieswirkstoffe hohe Staubspeicherkapazitäten besitzen. Der Anfangsabscheidegrad ist vergleichbar mit den Werten von Standardfiltermedien der Filterklassen F5/F6. Bereits nach kurzer Bestaubungszeit steigt der Abscheidegrad steil an und befindet sich am Ende der Prüfungen auf dem Niveau von Feinstaubfiltermedien der Filterklassen F7/F8. In Abhängigkeit von den Fertigungsparametern sind sowohl der Druckdifferenzverlauf als auch der Abscheidegrad in einem breiten Bereich einstellbar. Im Filtermedium angesammelte Partikel sind durch Druckluftimpulse im beträchtlichen Umfang entfernbar. Eine ökonomisch sinnvolle und umweltbewusste Mehrfachnutzung der Filtermedien wird damit möglich. Anwendbar sind die neuartigen Materialien auf Grund des möglichen breiten Eigenschaftsspektrums neben dem Einsatz als Filtermedium unter anderem für Isolationszwecke, im Schutzbereich, zur Polsterung sowie in der Hygiene und Medizin.
