Abstract:
The article is a review of the book Teşeyên Nezmê by Professor Dr. Abdul Rahman Adak, published by Nûbihar Publishing House. The book consists of 638 pages. The book explains how Kurdish poets write their poems. He talks extensively about every type of poetry and shows many interesting poems by ancient poets of all Kurdish dialects. It can be said that the subject of the book is not limited only to the forms of poetry composition, but rather it is a selection and description of ancient Kurdish poets, because the book contains interesting information and examples about each of the poets. The book also uses a scientific approach to talk about the relationship of Kurdish poetry to Persian, Arab, and Turkish poetry, and shows the specificity of Kurdish poetry, so it is possible to benefit from the scientific information contained in this book about Islamic literature generally.

Abstract:
Khana Qubadi was one of the great poets of classical Kurdish literature. He lived at the end of seventeenth century and the beginning of eighteenth century. He always seeked freedom and he was against oppression and violence. He was proud of Kurdish language. Qubadi has the greatest collection of poems. In some genres, he was the role model for other Kurdish poets such as: translation of the Holy Quran, Epics, Repetition, Satire. Despite that his era was full of wars and conflicts, he could skilfully use his artistic abilities and he brought many literary innovations into Kurdish literature. Therefore, he shines like a star in Kurdish literature. This paper tries to shed light on his literary inventions in order to be used as a source for scientific researches and to make Kurdish researchers pay more attention to this great poet, who is from Goran dialect, because he is one of the poets with numerous poems, but he has not gained reseachers’ attention yet.

Abstract:
Enlightenment as an intellectual concept is the result of the perspectives of many thinkers and philosophers in the western world. It has become the source of deep change in the western culture and thinking; it has also come into the eastern world and culture. Eventually, the influence of that movement arrived at the Kurdish literature and can easily be found in the works of Kurdish poets and authors. They dealt with the phenomenon in accordance with their understanding in Kurdish poems. Although the influence of the phenomenon has not reflected in the minds of the Kurdish poets, due to the inappropriate conditions of our nation, as is the case in the western world, the Kurdish poets could take advantage from the various aspects of phenomenon and renew the content of the Kurdish poetry. Enlightenment poets played an effective role in raising the awareness of Kurdish society, especially those who were aware of the innovation movement in the world and had a deep understanding of the conditions of the Kurdish society. Hence, poetry became a moving and a educating message. As a result, we see that the content of the poetry of that period has experienced a remarkable change.

Research on the history of Kurdish literature requires more efforts. Especially all those poets who have left behind little material and little has been written about them. For various reasons, the Kurds have not been able to rewrite their literary history completely and accurately. In this respect, new information about them is gradually going to be revealed through the workings on uncovering the manuscripts of the world archives. Although the nineteenth century is the richest century in the history of literature, it has the most shortcomings on the lives and works of our poets. This research entitled (Keyfi, his life and works in the Ottoman Archives) has tried to reveal several aspects of this poet's life through the Ottoman and Western archives, especially revealing part of his life in Mosul, Istanbul, and his work as a translator, lawyer, linguist and journalist. Additionally, the study reveals the time and the place of his death, and investigates his relationship with Kurdish poets and his reflection in Kurdish journalism during the Ottoman period. This study resolves some of the debates that existed in the past century about the life of this poet and with this new information fills a gap in the biography of Keyfi in the history of Kurdish literature

Abstract:
Mustazad as a poetic model, is not new in Kurdish literature. There are many classic Kurdish poets who wrote poems in the form of Al-Mustazad. Mullah Al-Jaziri was the first to organize a poetic in Mustazad in the history of Kurdish literature. But in the stage of renewal of Kurdish poetry after the First World War, Kurdish poets contributed to renewing the structure of the meter in terms of weight and rhymes and the formation of the different composition in terms of number and arrangement of verses and their component parts. The title of the research (Renewing the Structure of Mustazad in Goran's poems) is an attempt to show the characteristics of the techniques of renewal and creativity of Goran the poet, and renew the structure of Al-Mustazad at this stage. There is a clear gap in academic studies of literary theory of comparison to the creativity of Kurdish poets in this field. There are a number of studies that describe Mustazad among other poetic templates, but there is no specialized research in this poetic model to study the renewal techniques and creative attempts of the Kurdish poet. The research consists of two chapters: the first chapter is concerned with defining Mustazad and its techniques in both the classical and modern stages, while the second chapter is concerned with Goran's creative attempts in this regard. Through this research, the researcher reached to new results on which this poetic form was based.

It is theoretical because in the first part it presents the principles and the regulations of the research for the first time. It has two types ( psychological and formational repletion) This research can be applied to all types of practical arts but in this research it is just practiced on Kurdish pomes only. This research is based on both the psychological and the formational terms. The research presents the important aims of the research , defining the terms, classifying the motivators of creativity and it is effects on the poets products.

AbstractThe Kurdish community in Japan offers a dynamic diaspora, where social media plays a pivotal role in expressing and negotiating Kurdish cultural and political identities. This research examines how online communication and social media activism empower Kurdish diaspora members in Japan, facilitating transnational connections, identity expression, and advocacy for Kurdish causes. By exploring the intersection of Kurdish identity, activism, and social media in the Japanese context, this study enhances our understanding of evolving diasporic experiences in the digital age. This study employs a content analysis approach, examining Facebook posts by Kurdish users in Japan and the online activities of civil organisations affiliated with the Kurdish diaspora, to understand the representation of Kurdish identity and activism on social media. The analysis of collected data reveals that Kurdish nationalism is actively expressed within social media platforms, despite limitations such as the predominance of the Turkish language for representing Kurdish nationalism and identity. This highlights the significance of social media in facilitating Kurdish political mobilisation and the resilience of the Kurdish diasporic community in Japan.

Chapter 7 turns to poetry that attempts to escape the hold of language in the works of Wadi Saʿadeh (b.1948), a Lebanese émigré poet who has lived in Australia since 1988. Saʿadeh represents a stage in which the prose poem becomes less an oppositional poetic practice accompanied by a simultaneous theorizing effort and more of a space for free writing. This chapter traces a thread from Saʿadeh to a host of young contemporary prose poets whose poetic investments increasingly exceed the bounds of one language; such as the Lebanese Joumana Haddad (b. 1970) and Nazem al-Sayed (b. 1975), the Palestinian Samer Abu Hawwash (b.1972), and the Syrian/Kurdish Golan Haji (b. 1977). This later generation’s posture towards the poetic engagement is divests from Arabic as a singular linguistic stratum.

Harrison’s Hecuba provides an opportunity to examine his engagement with the centrality of a significant female role from the perspective of his persona as a political activist. Harrison’s collaboration with Vanessa Redgrave enabled him to craft a production criticizing the intervention of the USA and its allies in Iraq, and to take his critique to the geopolitical centre of the policies he condemns through his portrayal of Hecuba’s interaction with her Greek victors. Harrison’s introduction to the published text addresses the contradictory attitude whereby the public weeps for one Hecuba but allows the war zone to be flooded with many Hecubas. This multiplicity of Hecubas provides a further insight to Harrison’s approaches to translation, performance, and activism through its reoccurrence in Harrison’s original play Fram. Fram has an international agenda, moving from Fridtjof Nansen’s polar exploration in 1895 to contemporary protests by Kurdish poets and frozen African stowaways. Fram also resurrects the classicist translator Gilbert Murray and his regular actor Sybil Thorndike, ‘who portrayed Hecuba’. This chapter reads Fram as Harrison’s commentary on his role as an activist writer in relation to his production of Hecuba. It investigates the intersection of Harrison’s activities of poet, translator, adaptor, and director and examines Harrison’s conviction of the relevance of Classical drama for contemporary issues and the persuasive role of performance as activism.

" One of the best manifestations of the ego is in its relation to the other as an identifiable equivalent. This relation is basically and culturally determined by the nature of the observant ego, both dialectically and dialogically. The other serves as an inspiring stimulus that produces a desirable effect on an expressive ego which is aiming at self-expression and actively shaped by that equivalent other. This article investigates the poetic ego in its constant, variable interaction with the Kurds as reflected in the poems of contemporary Iraqi poets who showed sympathy with and support to the Kurdish cause. Exemplary poems will be chosen to depict this reciprocal relationship, shedding light on its unified representation. The article is divided into an introduction and five sections. The concept of the other and its origin, diversity of meanings, and its interdisciplinary suggestiveness are all discussed in the introduction. The five sections, on the other hand, are a study of the various depictions of the Kurds in contemporary Iraqi poetry. These depictions are shown in the Kurdish brotherhood, the commemoration of famous Kurdish figures, the celebration of the Kurdish place and festivities and their role in identity formation, and remembering its setbacks and inculcating it in the collective memory"

Since ancient times, Arabic poetry has been a depiction of everything that is happening in the Arab environment that surrounds the poet wherever he is, and his igniting flame has not been extinguished in their souls, despite the subjugation of the Arab world to the rule of non-Arabs after Islam. It is known that the Arab Muslims set out from the Arabian Peninsula as conquerors and heralds of the serious Islamic religion, and as a result of this the entry of nonArabs into Islam that enlightened the darkness of their hearts, so the Persians, Romans, Copts, Abyssinians, Turks, and others will be enlightened by his guidance... Muslim rulers will succeed in ruling the Islamic state Arabs and non-Arabs, such as Persians, Turks, Kurds, and others. And when the Turkish Ottoman state was established on an Islamic religious basis, the Turkish Muslims carried the banner of Islam, so they defended it, relying on Muslims of all nations, from the Turks, the Laz, the Arabs, and others, so the Islamic Ottoman rule extended over common areas that included almost the entire Arab lands, and they did not differentiate between Muslim and another in view of his race, color or geography. However, this matter did not satisfy the lurking enemies who wanted sedition and division between the Arabs and the Turks, so they stirred up the winds of nationalism that some Arab poets sought in the modern era, such as Ibrahim al-Yaziji and Khalil Mutran. Herein lies the importance of the research, its objective, and its value. The research uses the descriptive and analytical approaches in order to highlight the manifestations of this brotherhood, which received sufficient attention from Arab poets in the modern era.
