The book also uses a scientific approach to talk about the relationship of Kurdish poetry to Persian, Arab, and Turkish poetry, and shows the specificity of Kurdish poetry, so it is possible to benefit from the scientific information contained in this book about Islamic literature generally.

Abstract:
Khana Qubadi was one of the great poets of classical Kurdish literature. He lived at the end of seventeenth century and the beginning of eighteenth century. He always seeked freedom and he was against oppression and violence. He was proud of Kurdish language. Qubadi has the greatest collection of poems. In some genres, he was the role model for other Kurdish poets such as: translation of the Holy Quran, Epics, Repetition, Satire. Despite that his era was full of wars and conflicts, he could skilfully use his artistic abilities and he brought many literary innovations into Kurdish literature. Therefore, he shines like a star in Kurdish literature. This paper tries to shed light on his literary inventions in order to be used as a source for scientific researches and to make Kurdish researchers pay more attention to this great poet, who is from Goran dialect, because he is one of the poets with numerous poems, but he has not gained reseachers’ attention yet.

Abstract:
Enlightenment as an intellectual concept is the result of the perspectives of many thinkers and philosophers in the western world. It has become the source of deep change in the western culture and thinking; it has also come into the eastern world and culture. Eventually, the influence of that movement arrived at the Kurdish literature and can easily be found in the works of Kurdish poets and authors. They dealt with the phenomenon in accordance with their understanding in Kurdish poems. Although the influence of the phenomenon has not reflected in the minds of the Kurdish poets, due to the inappropriate conditions of our nation, as is the case in the western world, the Kurdish poets could take advantage from the various aspects of phenomenon and renew the content of the Kurdish poetry. Enlightenment poets played an effective role in raising the awareness of Kurdish society, especially those who were aware of the innovation movement in the world and had a deep understanding of the conditions of the Kurdish society. Hence, poetry became a moving and a educating message. As a result, we see that the content of the poetry of that period has experienced a remarkable change.

Research on the history of Kurdish literature requires more efforts. Especially all those poets who have left behind little material and little has been written about them. For various reasons, the Kurds have not been able to rewrite their literary history completely and accurately. In this respect, new information about them is gradually going to be revealed through the workings on uncovering the manuscripts of the world archives. Although the nineteenth century is the richest century in the history of literature, it has the most shortcomings on the lives and works of our poets. This research entitled (Keyfi, his life and works in the Ottoman Archives) has tried to reveal several aspects of this poet's life through the Ottoman and Western archives, especially revealing part of his life in Mosul, Istanbul, and his work as a translator, lawyer, linguist and journalist. Additionally, the study reveals the time and the place of his death, and investigates his relationship with Kurdish poets and his reflection in Kurdish journalism during the Ottoman period. This study resolves some of the debates that existed in the past century about the life of this poet and with this new information fills a gap in the biography of Keyfi in the history of Kurdish literature

Abstract:
Mustazad as a poetic model, is not new in Kurdish literature. There are many classic Kurdish poets who wrote poems in the form of Al-Mustazad. Mullah Al-Jaziri was the first to organize a poetic in Mustazad in the history of Kurdish literature. But in the stage of renewal of Kurdish poetry after the First World War, Kurdish poets contributed to renewing the structure of the meter in terms of weight and rhymes and the formation of the different composition in terms of number and arrangement of verses and their component parts. The title of the research (Renewing the Structure of Mustazad in Goran's poems) is an attempt to show the characteristics of the techniques of renewal and creativity of Goran the poet, and renew the structure of Al-Mustazad at this stage. There is a clear gap in academic studies of literary theory of comparison to the creativity of Kurdish poets in this field. There are a number of studies that describe Mustazad among other poetic templates, but there is no specialized research in this poetic model to study the renewal techniques and creative attempts of the Kurdish poet. The research consists of two chapters: the first chapter is concerned with defining Mustazad and its techniques in both the classical and modern stages, while the second chapter is concerned with Goran's creative attempts in this regard. Through this research, the researcher reached to new results on which this poetic form was based.

The term of aesthetics in literary works has been argued within the frame of form, content and structure, and identified in various ways. Nationalistic poems, as they are built on social and political unity of the national ideology and come to the forefront for their contents rather than their forms, can be evaluated within the scope of Hegel’s aesthetics. Because poetry, as the most nationalistic form, constitutes a very productive ground for strengthening and disseminating nationalism, Kurdish poets renovate Kurdish poetry with a nationalistic content in the modern era and they transform poetry into a suitable ground for awakening of the nation and development of the homeland. This shows that patriotic Kurdish poets built poetics of poetry on Hegel’s aesthetics and experience aesthetics of poetry in nationalistic content.

Abstract:
In the past, grief and lamentation for the dead were one of the main purposes of poetry. However, with the passage of time, this purpose witnessed great changes as the Kurdish literature witnessed such developments. This means that grief and lamentation moved from the level of grief of relatives and clan to greater goals. The death of leaders, artists, writers, and fighters also became a tool for grief and lamentation in most of the stages of the Kurdish literature, especially in poems. Grief and lamentation for the dead were among the important topics and became the focus of poets' interest, especially in the traditional and modern poems. Many of the Kurdish poets cared about lamentation in the modern era, as they wrote poems of sadness and lamentation for different personalities and events. Terez is among those poets who paid great attention to lamentation, as it is possible to clearly show the direction of this change in his poems, and we tried to know the extent and quality of Terez's interest in the subject of grief and lamentation. Was he able to express it well and meet the required level? To what extent did he care about this topic? For this reason, we have tried in this research entitle (Poems of Lamentation of Terez) to show the innovations and changes that Terez made in this aspect. Abstract This paper focuses upon some of the female poets in Kurdish literature who have played a major role in establishing Kurdish women’s poetry and their poetic texts, and how their voices become deeper and more feminine. The study will encompass the earliest Kurdish female poet from the classic period -Masture-y Ardalani (1805–1848), one of the most prominent Kurdish poets - and four poets from the modern period, namely Diya Ciwan (b. 1953), Kazhal Ahmed (b. 1967), Nezend Begikhani (b. 1964), and Mahabad Qaradaghi (b. 1966). The existence of feminine poetry in Kurdish literature is considered new born, but in fact the real emergence of women’s poetry in Kurdish literature dates back to the early 1990s, aTher the liberation of southern Kurdistan from the Saddam Hussein regime. Additionally, it is important to note that the Kurdish political and creative history is not without women’s presence.

Specific concepts and themes of pessimistic philosophy such as nihilism, death-loving and doubt have also been theorized and practiced. Finally, we have reached several conclusions that philosophical pessimism in contemporary Kurdish poetry is a pessimism that has emerged under the influence of a number of literary movements such as Surrealism, Absurdism, Dadaism and Nihilism. However, philosophical pessimism in Kurdish poetry is more of an intellectual than an ideological issue for most poets.

Abstract:
The paradox is an artistic expression used for beautifying the poetic language, the poems of Kurdish poets like Arabic, Persian, and Western nations include these arts and the plays of the poetic language. This type of poetic art can be seen noticeably in every era of the Kurdish classic poems which is a reason for enriching and empowering the poetic language. It will also, produce modern imagination and expressions which will be thoughtful and speculative and it will attract readers’ attention due to its’ closeness to the contradictory art which is again a type of beautifying the semantic art. According to the earlier researches in this field, paradoxical art is a type of contradictory art but it has specific liberty by itself. The appearance of paradoxical expressions will be in the shape of semantical, lexical, and in one or two sentences. The Diwan of Wafay was focused on for this research amongst the diwans of classical Kurdish poets. Wafay (1844-1904) was a poet in the second half of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth. He had a warm poetic language and meaningful and vivid sentences. His poems are full of semantics and lexical artistic beautifications. For this purpose, the researcher will investigate the placement shapes of the generic paradoxical composition and analyzing them according to grammar and rhetorical in Wafay’s poems.

Abstract:
If Kurdish poetry was dominated by Persian and Arabic poetry in the classical period, in the modern period, either directly or indirectly, through Turkish literature, it has been influenced by European literature. The sonnet as a European poetic form has been used by Kurdish modernist poets, especially rhymes of the sonnet fragments. This research, entitled "The Formation of the Sonnet in Kurdish Modern Poetry", is an attempt to present the reflection and the use of the form and rhyme of the sonnet in the poetry of Kurdish modernist poets, who renewed Kurdish poetry between 1918 and 1970. The research problem is related to the novelty of the sonnet form and rhyme and its application in Kurdish Modern poetry. Sonnets have been discussed in previous studies more in terms of rhyme because they are rarely constructed as they are in terms of form. However, Kurdish modernist poets have worked on the structure of the sonnet with many techniques, innovations and variations, which requires a more detailed and comprehensive study. For this reason, the study is based on the literary theories and employs qualitative descriptive analysis approach in order to investigate the texts used the framework of sonnet forms and employed sonnet rhymes.

Abstract:
The anxiety and alienation are conditions which drive poets to search and, at times, to go astray in the homelands and exiles of the existence. These conditions could be real or metaphorical according to poets' experiences. They attract and seduce poets until they settle in the imaginary space of the poetic language. The Arabic language was an imaginary homeland for two Kurdish poets in two different eras: Shams Al-Din Al-Suhrawardy (1155-1191) and Salim Barakat (1951), who both used the Arabic language in order to aesthetically express their anxiety and alienation. It cannot be confirmed that the motif which drove both poets to invest the poetic language were similar or exactly the same. However, the semantic interpretation of both experiences allows the researcher to examine common aspects between them in terms of the way they used the potentials of Arabic language, which was totally different from their mother language. There is another comparable point between Al-Suhrawardy and Barakat relates to their poetic experience with regard to the existential questions, as well as the poetic treatment with similar human situations

Abstract:
Literature, as a aspect of human life and knowledge, has long turned to rhetoric and has not been able to speak without it, even as literature is often defined as a kind of expression that has a high rhetoric and is separated from people's normal speech because of this rhetoric. The writer or poet has always relied on the rhetorical arts that were common in their time, often measured and evaluated between the two products in the same era because of the rhetorical art that writers used in their texts. It seems that Kurdish literature, as one of the eastern literature, has had a great influence on Arabic rhetoric in two directions: the first is Arabic rhetoric through persians, meaning kurds, just as they have received other classical things from Persia, have demanded their rhetoric. Secondly, it was taken directly through the Arabs, and this direction had less effect, Rather, most Kurdish poets fall under the umbrella of the first direction, which does not mean that kurds have been unaware of the problems and conflicts between Arab speakers, on the contrary, Kurdish poets and writers have had a lot of information in this regard, and one of these poets is Mullah Khidir (Nali). The benefits and benefits of such research are that for the first time, such a subject should be discussed in a practical way and the extent of the negative effect of Arabic rhetoric should be expressed. Abstract:
Human life has always been connected to the concept of love; it has recurred in the works of poets and writers creating a tremendous attraction. The manifestation of love has been influenced by cultural, literary, and social events of humankind through different times and places. Nagi and Jaff are among the most important Arab and Kurdish sonnet writing poets of the contemporary period. Unfortunately, Jaff is less known to the world due to the lack of research by authors and scholars in this regard; however, Jaff is one of the most prominent Kurdish poets. Nagi and Jaff were highly determined in writing sonnets; therefore, it is appropriate to consider them as pioneers of sonnet form particularly romantic sonnets. Nagi views his beloved differently and has a pure innocent love; he expresses a life full of love and adoration along with sorrow and grief. "All expressions of nature and objects are reflected in the poet's sorrow and grief, no wine will ever soothe this sorrow even the attainment of the beloved" Ehsan Abbas explains. However, Jaff reflects on the physical and material aspects of love and his beloved. Jaff's material and formal stance is rooted in his great love for the beloved. Mostly, Kurdish poets are influenced by poets and writers of other nations. The relationship between material love and pure love is different in the viewpoint of these two poets. Nagi believes that material or formal love is the beginning of pure divine love, provided that this love is not associated with lust; yet such viewpoint is not strong in Taher Beg Jaff's work probably due to his living condition which was aristocratic and carefree to some extent. Perhaps the impact of this factor can be observed in Jaff's formal and material love

Abstract:
This article investigates how the Kurdish home, borders and the state are depicted in one of the most important Kurdish cultural expressions in Turkey until 1980: the dengbêj art. The recital songs of the dengbêjs form a fascinating source to investigate how Kurds experienced life on the margins of the (nation-)state. We argue that the songs demonstrate that many Kurds perceived the political geography of the state they officially belonged to as foreign and not as a legitimate part of Kurdish socio-political reality. The Kurdish political geography created in the songs exists in small-scale local structures and alliances, and there is mostly no reference to a common Kurdish cause. Borders are presented as foreign interference in the Kurdish landscape. In the conclusion we suggest that Kurdish fragmented political structure should be understood as a deliberate means to avoid being incorporated in a state structure. This speaks against a (self-)Orientalist interpretation of Kurdish history that defines a lack of Kurdish unity as primitive. Dengbêj li ser sînoran: Dîtina sînor û dewletê bi çavên dengbêjan Ev gotar vedikolê bê welatê Kurdan, sînor û dewlet çawan hatine şayesandin di yek ji girîngtirîn derbirînên çanda Kurdî da li Tirkiyeyê, heta 1980yê: anku dengbêjiyê. Abstract:
This paper intends to highlight the similarities in three poems by three different poets coming from different times and places - Robert Herrick’s poem, “To Daffodils”, Percy Bysshe Shelly’s poem, “The flower that smiles today” (mutability), and Abdulla Goran’s poem, “To the Ivy Flowers”. It endeavours to depict the influence that Shelly and Herricks’ poems had on the Kurdish poet Goran in composing his poem. Herrick’s poem was first published in the 17th century in English Language, although Shelley’s Poem was published in the 19th century in England, yet its language is English, too. The influence of the English language and English writers generally and the influence of Shelly and Herrick, particularly is clearly seen in Goran’s poem. This study for the first time points out that there is the high possibility of the influence of two poems on Goran in composing his poem, “To the Ivy Flowers”, which shows the novelty of this study as no scholar so far has said two English Writers influenced him in writing this poem. This is a comparative study relying on the French school of comparative literature. The Kurdish poet, Goran was influenced by both Shelley and Herrick. The paper intends to see to which degree is Goran influenced by the two poems, and why particularly by those two English poets. The study relies on comparative, descriptive and textual analysis approaches to examine meaning, content and style of the three poems to demonstrate the aesthetics of the three poems

As is obvious there are many famous poets in Kurdish literature their reputation crossed the borders to be familiar for the other nations, others for any reason couldn`t reach that level That is why focusing on the second group and paying attention to the products they have provided is acknowledged as scientific responsibility, because their product is a valuable Kurdish literature wealth and it`s very important to be preserved. from this point of view, we conducted this research entitled (A.B Hawri`s poetic experience in Kurdish literature),which is the contents of our master`s letter, we`ve highlighted the poet`s live, experience and products, as well as his interpretation and analysis of poetry because he believed that the content of poetry is more important than its form which is the same view that modern poets have about poetry ,he was one of the poets who followed the same innovation in poetry, also we studied his era political and social environment and we knew his perspective about that era`s events through poetry. The we highlighted the literature, intellectual period and his education stage which Hawri went through ,then himself as a teacher was in pursuit of upbringing and educating sons of this country.

As the poetry is the reflection of the poets thinking & meditation, in the History of Kurdish poetry, the aim was to illuminate the community, especially in the decades after the 20th century. It was the message and tool of changing. Therefore, the Kurdish poets had realized they would be able to raise awareness in society and making difference in life aspects through poetry. They believed they could introduce the community to the progression and prosperity of the other societies, values & new manners. This will have impacts on the psychology and senses of the readers and auditors. Definitely, accepting and welcoming these changes was not easy. That is why conflicts and struggles will occur between either the author and the community or the author and himself/ herself. This is an attempt to display these conflicts and express them through poetry and to what extent they could have influence on the individuals and make difference in the community. According to the above explanation, “The Conflicts of Social Phenomena in Mufti Penjweni’s Poems” will be the tile of this research so as to show the conflict which the mentioned poet had demonstrated through his poetry. Most of these works have remained in Kurdish societies and have encouraged and developed national feelings. It is clear that the nervousness and selfishness of the occupied peoples and the religious differences led to the dominance of the political literature of the occupiers. In this study, these factors are addressed with examples.

Although artists and experts of art have much examined and analysed the two poet’s verses, in the field of comparison and evaluation, few efforts were made with respect to mystical love in the work of the two poets. Despite the long time period between the lifetimes of the two artists, in this study we endeavour to highlight love and characteristics of love, and point out common and different features of the term of love. The results obtained from the analysis of the verses of the two artists reveal that the true love has some characteristics which are manifested in their work. Also the perspectives of the two poets concerning love are relatively the same.

Abstract:
Studying the lives and works of Kurdish poets through documents and archives is an important practical step to clarifying the history of Kurdish literature. Therefore, the Ottoman Archive is an important centre to uncover the origins of the lives and works of Kurdish poets, scholars, and personalities. Sheikh Reza Talabani (1837–1910) was able to write poetry in several languages. He was the son of Sheikh Abdulrahman Talabani, a prominent leader of the Qadiri sect, who was an influential figure in the Ottoman Empire and had a close relationship with the central government and senior officials. From this perspective, this study focuses on the position of Sheikh Reza Talabani in the Ottoman Empire in the shadow of Ottoman documents, as well as the discovery of his unpublished poem in the archive, which is a letter of praise to the Ottoman Sultan. The importance of this study is that it was previously only known that Sheikh Reza made several trips to Istanbul, but through this article, it corrects several previous opinions and specifically discusses the timing of his trips to Istanbul, his rank, and the fame of his praise poem to the Ottoman Sultan. The study reveals the poem for the first time.

The Goran dialect is crucial to our literary history as the Kurdish nation. It has also remarkably impacted the works of some famous authors and poets of our Kurdish nation. Mawlawi Tawagozi wrote his poems (Poetry) in Hawrami, a branch of the Gorani dialect. In the present study, the questions regarding the factors that have driven this Sorani dialect poet to adopt Hawrami in writing his poetry have been answered. Moreover, according to the scientific sources as well as analyzing his poems, the prominent factors which resulted in the supremacy of the Hawrami dialect in the poetry of the poet mentioned above are explained. In the practical part of this study, the factors that fascinate this poet with the Hawrami dialect are described and exemplified. The following questions in this study are answered: Why has this dialect been so significant, and has this poet written his entire poetry in it? Was it his love for that dialect, the beauty and charm of the Hawraman area and the love for Naqshabandi Sufism, or maybe due to his love for Tawela and Byara religiously It was Islam Sheiks? Abstract:
The issue of writing history by Kurdish authors in Iraq between1958-1968 is analysed and explained which is about those printed books in kurdish written and published by Kurdish authors in Iraq. We have concluded that eight history books were published in Kurdish language from 1958 to 1968. Among them, seven of them were written and published from 1958 to 1962 and only one book was published in 1968. This devision of publishing those books has been due to politicial reasons and the emergence of Ailul revolution in 1961. On the one hand, it was due to the political unrest which was a stumbling block for the writing process for authors. On the other hand, however, it was due to the Aylul revolution that led to the restriction of the writing and publication processes by the Iraqi government. The historeans were peoples of different backgrounds in Kurdistan including politicians, army, religious people, school teachers, poets, and scholars. This show the desire of writing history by peoples of different backgrounds in the Kurdish society. Regarding the academic and scientific quality and the methodology of adopted at that time in writing history books, although it cannot be compared by today’s history books, but it was rather narrative and simple. In addition, very few references were usually used in writing those books. This was due to the fact that the history books authors were not historians.

Abstract:
Throughout the history of the Kurds, we have had many scholars and writers whose peers are few among the Kurds. Among them, a poet by the name of Mullah Khader—nicknamed Nali—rose to appearance. More significantly, he has been recognized as one of the primary figures in the development of Kurdish literature written in the Sorani dialect in the nineteenth century and the Kurdish classical poetry school. Therefore, as part of our accountability, we performed an excellent research of the terminology and idioms employed in his book by scholars and theologians. After many years, we no longer see writers and academics among the Kurds and other nearby nations caring for his literary works. As a result, we are carrying out this tremendous and historic duty in compliance with our religious and literary responsibilities. There is no doubt that in light of his being influenced by his readings of Arabic and Persian literature, which are rich in theological and religious subjects, including dogmas, he composed many poems against doctrinal and theological issues, including the prophetic aspect, issues of prophecy and the message, his view of the prophets and messengers, not to mention the hadith of the prophecy of our master Muhammad (PBUH), his understanding of it in The miracle, which motivated him more to compose many verses about this chapter and put them in his collection, is reflected in the strength of his strong faith, cultural and intellectual ties that he drew from the luminaries of the Holy Qur’an and the Prophetic hadiths (PBUH). So; We seek, through this study, to know the extent to which he was affected by the faith, as well as to add high-end knowledge to the product of the Kurdish people's thought about one of their most prominent poets, and to answer many questions about what is raised about the literature related to faith and important verbal references. We realized that he was an inspiring poet and a man of knowledge in this field, and he had the upper hand in how to select the doctrinal and verbal terms and their consistency in a verse, even on several occasions, he fell into purely verbal discussions with his peers. It is worth noting that the study included two main topics and several demands, with reference to the most important results that we reached. By God, we ask that we were able to add new information, even by a line, to the history of our Kurdish thought.

His weapon is words that have more intensive effect that the bullets on them. - With respect to language, (Pashyo) wrote his poems in a simple and fluent language and at the same time they rise to high technical levels of superiority and beauty and what is named as abstained easy. - (Pashyo) was sincere and honest in his expressions, and did not write his poems for private purposes, except for the beloved love, while the rest of his poems were in the explanation and treatment of his nation's political problems. - Within the folds of his poems, it is shown that there is a directed message controlling in an obvious way over the shape and content.

Abstract:
Common conceptual metaphors are used in poetry, as part of the conceptual metaphor theory, that enables poets to express their poetic images and depict their world through a mixture of language and cultural codes. This study is an attempt to show how conceptual poetic metaphors are illustrated in Kurdish poems by analysing source and target domains. According to the theory, the target domain which is the metaphor emerges from the source domain, that is generally the source of our common knowledge of the world. This leads speakers and listeners to easily categorise and make sense of the abstract terms. In this research, samples of poems were analyzed and categorized according to four types of conceptual metaphors such as imagistic, orientational, ontological and structural. They were also given two codes in reference to both aforementioned domains. Therefore, the Mapping between the two sources in the literary samples was observed and shown in the present paper.

The current research is an attempt to interpret the concept of nihilism from the ancient Greek era to the postmodern era from different perspectives. The study sheds light on nihilism from the perspectives of ancient Greek philosophy and the western world in general and the reflections of modern philosopher Schopenhauer on this topic. The research describes and explains the reflection of nihilism in kurdish classic, modern, and postmodern poetry. The purpose of the study is also to show the differences and similarities of nihilism from Western perspective to the Middle Eastern perspective by referencing several poets. It is a fact that this context is more influenced by social norms, religious beliefs, and culture. The study also analyses the poems of Hashim Saraj as a modern poet. As a poet, Saraj is influenced by the intellectual waves of enlightenment movement. Although he has a large number of poems about pessimism and despair, he could not neglect the impacts of his culture in his poetry. However, Sarah's pessimism is to reflect a positive aspect rather than a negative one.

Abstract:
Since the beginning of its appearance on this planet, human being has felt alien in one hand because he has not been familiar to anything in the wide nature he has lived in and in the other hand he has been afraid and felt hesitated due to his fear to from all other creatures. But gradually he has been familiar with nature and his environment and tried at the beginning to align himself with it then to overcome it and to use them for his own interest, especially the animals which are the second sequence after human being in the planet. This align and controlling is not a matter of one night and day, but it has gone through certain stages and periods and has taken certain forms until it reached to the form, we can see it today. This thesis has tried to point out the types of those relationships based on sequences and their reflections in Kurdish poetry which show the perspective of Kurdish poets towards animals. The thesis points out five types of relationships between human being & animals based on their sequence and appearance as following: Conflict Relationship. Interest Relationship. Friendship Relationship. Spiritual Relationship. Artistic Relationship. Each of those relationships is explained theoretically except the spiritual relationship, examples are given for all other relationships in Kurdish poetry. The reason why we have not seen example in Kurdish poetry for spiritual relationship is to the fact that we believe Kurdish society is an Islamic society and its religious perspective has not allowed this relationship to exceed friendship relationship and to reach spiritual relationship. Even, the friendship relationship sometimes has been based on interest relationship.

Abstract:
The public life of people in most cases are among forgotten parts of the Persian literature; in other words, most of the poets because of their too much attention to the kings and their actions and behaviors, followed by their disconnection with the inferior class of the society, have rarely composed poems on the public life of the people. The constitutional revolution to a great extent shifted this balance in favor of the public. In this paper, the anthology of the Kurdish blind poet “Shami” - which deals with the poor class of the society and the issues relating to it from a linguistic and thematic perspective - has been investigated and on the basis of the issues that embody most in the anthology, the poems relating to the public life have been categorized into four groups: 1. Life appliances and equipment, 2.Number of people, 3. Speech and 4. Customs and etiquette. This investigation showed that Shami is a poet that understands the pains and woes of the people and tries through an eloquent language to express pains and sufferings of his own class in a poetic form, offering it to the public. Hence, he can be called a social poet as such

Abstract:
The notion creativity in the Western civilization has a long history. It has influenced various aspects of human life since Greek and Roman times. Western thinkers have significantly contributed to literary growth in art and literature. Western intellectuals have also led literary research and developed theoretical approaches to literature. After their development, the western literary traditions were imported to other countries for various reasons. Thus, the non-Western writers adapted several aspects of Western literary movements including romanticism. Romanticism, a literary and artistic movement that emerged in late 18th-century Europe, opposed the basic tenant of classicism. The movement introduced new literary forms and radical ideas. Influenced by Western romanticism, Kurdish and Persian romantic literature evolved and reached its peak. The term “romantic self” is used to describe how a poet reveals his hidden and spontaneous feelings, desires and anguish using various romantic features. Drawing from American Romanticism, this comparative study explores how both Piramerd and Mirzada Ashqe emphasize the romantic self in their poems. This helps to understand the similarities and differences in the poets’ approaches to the notion of romantic self in their works.
