Abstract:

Abstrak Latar belakang: Indonesia memiliki berbagai macam tanaman hias, salah satunya merupakan spesies kaktus. Spesies kaktus yang paling banyak dibudidayakan adalah Epiphyllum oxypetalum (DC.) Haw. atau dikenal dengan nama Wijaya Kusuma. Berdasarkan uji fitokimia, ekstrak etanol daun Wijaya Kusuma dilaporkan mengandung senyawa golongan flavonoid, fenol, tanin dan saponin. Tujuan: Ekstrak etanol 96% daun wijaya kusuma akan ditentukan kadar fenolik total dan kadar tannin total menggunakan metode spektrofotometri.
