Abstract:
When we carefully look at the path of growth and development of Kyrgyz literature, the main ideological and aesthetic trends, an endless and large-scale creative world is drawn before our eyes. Of course, every nation has its own spiritual manifestation. The pure spring flowing from that spring becomes a huge river, which gradually increases in size and rages. Today's Kyrgyz national literature seems to us to be a creative environment. Folk art, the poetry of singers, living in constant movement spontaneously, whose waves smashed mountains, are full of noble thought, wonderful words, songs accompanied by (“Manas”), caustic, flooding cheeks with laughter, is considered a treasure of jokes. Each of them was acquired in its own way by Kyrgyz scientists in special collective studies, but it is still clear that it is impossible to completely solve the above issues within the framework of one dissertation research or textbook.

Abstract:
This article examines the history of the origin of Kyrgyz satire, the beginning and the emergence of satire in oral folk art, and development trends of Kyrgyz satire during the Soviet period. The origins of the history of the birth of Kyrgyz satire lie in the inexhaustible folk oral creativity. Due to the fact that satire by its nature is closely related to mentality, everyday life of the people and focuses on the character, behavior of a person, its examples can be considered in the proverbs, fables, stories of Apendi, Zhaerenche Chechen, Akyl Karachach, stories of the people's humorists and many others. Also, in the trilogy "Manas" and in such small epics as "Er Toshtuk", "Zhanyl Myrza" and in a lot of satirical ridicule. Satirical elements at the end of XIX-th at the beginning of the XX-th centuries developed in the work of akyns-improvisers, in professional literature - in the works of M. Elebaev, A. Tokombaev, K. Malikov, J. Bokonbaeva, later R. Shukurbekov, M. Alybaeva, B. Sarnoeva, E. Ibraeva, J. Ryspaeva and others. In general, Kyrgyz satire, like world satire, has recently been developing into traditional and new format, innovative in nature.

Children's writers are age-sensitive authors In children's poems, it is always relevant to talk about the people's pedagogical meaning and content. It is not only children's literature, but also literature that finds the language and soul of children matching to their psychology. From the very beginning, its goal was to educate children, introduce them to the environment, the world in which they live, and teach them life skills. Of these, the folk-pedagogical character of children's literature is especially appreciated. This scientific article examines the educational functions of works written for children, which are our future, and their significance in modern conditions.

The article examines the fundamentals of folk pedagogy of the Kyrgyz people, formed before the emergence of secondary schools. The role of literature in the upbringing of the younger generation of the Kyrgyz people has long been recognised. It was organized at a high level in the process of growing up in accordance with the content of socio-social conditions. The formation of the first methods and techniques of teaching young people ethno-pedagogical basis is defined. Particular attention is paid to the problem of combining ethno-pedagogical education with the study of Kyrgyz fiction in addressing the contradictions of life and mastering the social and personal competence of their time by young people. The article discusses the benefits that young people gain from ethno-pedagogical education in their personal lives.

Abstract:
Abdykalyk Chorobaev is a great representative of the Kyrgyz poets of the older generation, an outstanding folklorist, Kyrgyz ethnologist, follower of Togolok Moldo, genealogist, Honored Worker of Culture of the Kyrgyz SSR, member of the Union of Writers of the USSR. The poet made a significant contribution to the development of Kyrgyz literature. He has his own writing style and his own creative theme, which makes him different from other poets. In the work of A. Chorobaev there are songs on the theme: Nostalgia for the homeland, longing, mourning, labor, love, falling in love, glorification of folk art, women's theme, freedom, children's world, the importance of education, etc. His works include art, sermons , legends and other diverse genres. What distinguishes the poet from his contemporaries is that he was able to move from folklore to professional literature and continue his activities in two main areas of literature: in folklore and in Kyrgyz written literature. This article provides a general overview of the life and work of the poet.

Since ancient time the intention to seek healing for diseases and lead a healthy life has been the primary concern of people. The treatment practices with traditional knowledge and experience which were developed accordingly have reached our days, passing from generation to generation through oral tradition. Folk medicine, which is based on the concept that health made up of soul and body integrity, is a purification and treatment formula in which the experience of generations, cooperation, belief and trust are affirmed, and nature and the power of nature are blessed. These healing practices in Turkish culture which consist of pre-Islamic and post-Islamic customs, traditions, beliefs, cultures and experiences are also an important and remarkable field for Kyrgyz Turks. The folk medicine tradition of the Kyrgyz Turks and its performers carry the traces of the ancient healers such as shamans and Shamanism as well as Islamic tradition, and it exemplifies cultural diversity and continuity. For Kyrgyz Turks, the tradition of folk medicine is considered as complementary and alternative treatment system to the modern medicine as well as the first treatment system that patients apply for healing. The performers of this tradition, their personal characteristics, the treatment practices and methods used in healing, as well as materials used in the treatment are important to draw the boundaries this tradition and to explore the tradition. This study presents the materials and methods used in the treatment within the folk medicine tradition of Kyrgyz Turks which will be evaluated in relation to the treatment methods and diseases. The findings will be discussed regarding the data obtained through observation and interview as well as the literature review.

The study and assessment of the essence of the fable genre in world literature is multifaceted and varied. However, more stable views emerged. Assessing the nature of fables among the Kyrgyz people, it was important to use international experience. Therefore, referring to information related to the genre of fables among the peoples of the East, evaluating the nature of fables in them, determining the conditions that influenced their emergence - an objective assessment of these processes. The influence of eastern cultural values on the fairy tale genre of the Kyrgyz people and what influenced the change in national consciousness before the appearance of western cultural values (Aesop's fables). The influence of Buddhism and Islamic culture on Kyrgyz culture, especially myths about animals, jataka, Panchatantra, Kalila and Dimna, will be analyzed with specific facts about the formation of Kyrgyz folk fables.

Abstract:
The article shows several ways to inspire students in a Kyrgyz literature lesson, and what the teacher’s activities should be. Getting students interested in a lesson is not a difficult task. The main problem is insufficient knowledge of methods and technologies for active student participation in the classroom or the inability to implement them. First of all, it is necessary to have information about the methods that interest students. Then, through experience, the deficiencies are made up for. It was noted what should be relied on when encouraging students to study. Our folk pedagogy is a rich heritage, an inexhaustible treasure left by our ancestors, who absorbed, so to speak, the sourdough of Kyrgyz history and culture, spanning dozens of centuries. The more we hold them sacred, appreciate them and learn to study them, the more they reveal their amazing secrets to us. Therefore, it was proposed to use elements of ethnopedagogy in the Kyrgyz literature lesson. The article can be used by teachers, parents and students.

Abstract:
The article presents ideas about teaching methods, ideas, recommendations on the methodology for the development of written and oral speech of students in the Kyrgyz literature lesson. In our proposed school, exams on methods of adapting students to speech and writing activities were conducted in experimental classes. Using the example of Kyrgyz literature lessons in grades 5-8, the principles and means of applying the methods are described. Currently, there is a need to actively use our state language, especially office work, but there is reason to believe that some representatives of our nation do not speak the Kyrgyz language well, are able to make sentences and write competently. One of the reasons for illiteracy in the field of speech culture and writing is that a child from an early age in the family, kindergarten, school, secondary and higher educational institutions receives little influence on the rich language of folk tales, songs, dastans, including the national epic “Manas".

The publication analyzes in what aspect the very valuable and eternal theme of the poet and poetry in the work of the famous Kyrgyz poet Suyunbay Eraliyev is reflected and how he himself responsibly treats his profession. And it is also written about the peculiarities of the great poet's thinking. In order to reveal the ideological value, we stopped at newer works (after 2000). He is known not only as a great lyricist, but also as the best philosopher in Kyrgyz literature. His poetry is the epitome of patriotism and great sincere love for the motherland. The life and works of Suyunbai Eraliyev are the national heritage of our people, the pride of professional literature and a part of history. He is one of two poets who for 60 years wrote and worked without interruption. His work has an original Eralievs character, which combines Kyrgyz folk art and traditional romanticism of the twentieth century. Many of his works reflect the love of nature, which is inextricably linked with the love of the Мatherland.

The article analyzes the epic "Kyz Saykal" depicting the exploits of the heroine of the Kyrgyz people, Saikal. The author begins with an overview of the history of recording, publication, and research of the epic. In fact, the history of writing, publishing, and researching the epic is very short. Today, only Orozbay Urmambetov's version has been recorded. The manuscript is kept in the Manuscript Fund of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic. That manuscript will be published twice in the "Folk Literature" series. Later, in 2019, it was translated into English by Zinaida Karaeva, and the Kyrgyz and English versions were published together. There are mixed opinions about the epic. Some of them described it as a poem, while K. Artykbaev, S. Kayipov, G. Orozova, J. Abdyrasulova gave their first scientific opinions and identified the work as an epic. The author looks at these works from beginning to end, analyzes them in detail, and gives a general overview.

The issue of the existence of Kyrgyz literature and literary language prior the Soviet period has not yet been resolved and still remains an open topic for discussion. There is no nation without a writing system, the history; the past and experience of folk are presented to the next generation through written system. This paper provides information about the formation stages of Kyrgyz literature and literary language, written works, documents and letters written in one of the Turkic languages — Kyrgyz in the pre-Soviet period, especially in the XVIII–XIX centuries. Also, in this paper there are an assessment of ideas, criticism and opinions of Kyrgyz culture researches about Kyrgyz written system such as: A. Kanymetov, S. S. Danyarov, philologists turkologists: I. A. Batmanov, K. K. Yudakhin, S. E. Malov, V. M. Ploskikh, E. Tenishev, A. Nallo, B. M. Yunusaliev, S. K. Kudaibergenov and Kh. K. Karasaev. In this study we attempted to determine the creation dates of some written works found today. The found documents and manuscripts, relating to the middle of the XIX century, create more opportunities for linguistics’ study, for ideas and suggestions on the status of the Kyrgyz language as being Turkic of almost sesquicentennial prescription. We tried to provide the most information on the topics of study and collection of works, characterized as the most significant documents of Moldo Niyaz — one of the first representatives of ‘zhazgych akyn’s’ (reading and chronicling improvising poets). The fact that the turkologists linguists did not carry out the necessary works and did not present documentary evidence of the Kyrgyz written language results to the opinion of non-existence of Kyrgyz written language, thus literary language. However, to the present day the activities of collection of the original manuscript’s copies of ‘zhazgych akyn’s’ important representatives among the public, a compilation of manuscripts, and their linguistic studies are still ignored. This kind of work will be a valuable and useful resource for large text research in the field of hermeneutics.

The article provides an overview of the works of Kyrgyz ethnopedagogues studying how the ideas of patriotic education are reflected in the folklore heritage. The views of Kyrgyz ethnopedagogues who express ideas on ethnopedagogy and patriotic education in folklore works are explained in a new way. The article was devoted to researchers of the theory and history of ethnopedagogy. In our opinion, in the patriotic education of students, works of literature perform the following functions: a communicator that unites in the collective recognition of the ideals, values of patriotic personalities in the children's environment; a means that allows a teacher-educator to instill in students feelings, values about the Motherland and patriotism; a means that deepens, complements, strengthens inner care and love for the Motherland, place birth, civic duty to the Motherland, reflection on their social role, as well as a means of self-education. In the studies of a number of scientists, opinions are expressed about Kyrgyz folklore, ethnography, philosophy, and pedagogical views in oral folk art.

Мы проводим литературный анализ песен-назиданий и терме Калыгула Бай уулу, произведений из «Сборника стихотворений» Молдо Кылыча, стихов-импровизаций Женижока, параллельно сравнивая их идейно-художественные вопросы с такими древними общетюркскими письменными памятниками как «Книга назиданий» Кул ходжа Ахмеда Яссави и дастаном «Благодатное знание» Жусупа Баласагуни. Мы учитываем и тот момент, что в свое время при изучении творчества акынов-мулл основное внимание обращалось на религиозную сторону их произведений, а философские и дидактические проблемы их содержания оставались вне нашего внимания. Но ведь было сказано: «Жить в обществе и быть свободным от него нельзя». Эту мудрость мы демонстрируем на примере творчества народных акынов. This article discusses the influence of Sufism on literature and culture, the object is the work of Kyrgyz folk akyns. We carry out a literary analysis of the edification songs and terme songs of Kalygul Bai uulu, works from the ‟Collection of Poems” by Moldo Kylych, Zhenizhok’s improvisational verses, in parallel comparing their ideological and artistic issues with such ancient Common Turkic written monuments as the ‟Book of Manual” by Kul hoja Ahmed Yassavi and dastan “Beneficial Knowledge” by Zhusup Balasaguni. We also take into account the fact that at one time, when studying the work of akyns-mullahs, the main attention was paid to the religious side of their works, and the philosophical and didactic problems of their content remained out of our attention. But it was said: “It is impossible to live in society and be free from it.” We demonstrate this wisdom on the example of the creativity of folk akyns.

Abstract:
Having a separate place in the public consciousness (according to the critical point of view), satirical or humorous artistic thinking, which manages to approach literary creativity from a different angle, acquires a specific form as a work of art, and the personal creativity of a poet or writer is of great importance. Of course, when a creative person expresses his attitude to funny events, he does not intend to write in only one genre, but at the same time he is engaged in a wide genre range in order to make the thought satirical or humorous, and tries to place his own content from it. Typing genres, based on a known research problem, should generalize and draw a conclusion. Since 1957, satirical magazines have become more active, which, along with operational reviews, began to publish purposefully readable small satirical works, accompanied by funny words. Since it was impossible to raise the prestige of a magazine that was limited to criticism in all cases, poets and writers who turned to this genre were obliged to write original works that would cheer up the people using various genres of satire and humor. The fact that the authors, who began to gain fame in their chosen direction, found their place in Kyrgyz literature and began to be discussed in different conditions, also revealed the need to study this issue in literary science.

The purpose of the article is to describe the new requirements for teaching the discipline “Manasology”. Objectives of the article: To present changes in the education system of Kyrgyzstan in connection with the adoption in 2011 of the Law “On the epic «Manas»” and to describe new technologies that can be used in the country’s education system with the introduction of the discipline “Manasology”. The object of the research is the current situation in schools and universities of Kyrgyzstan, the subject is the process of forming new teaching technologies and creating educational literature. The educational community of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan takes into account a number of teaching technologies tested in the world, the practical application of which includes the creation of new educational literature. Among them: Technology of integrated learning; Case-technology; Game technology; Technology workshops; Traditional technologies (classroom lesson system). The first technology presupposes a special type of integrated lesson, combining familiarity with the epic “Manas” simultaneously with other subjects while studying one topic. Disciplines of the auxiliary cycle can be “National Literature”, “Kyrgyz Language”, “Oral Folk Art”, etc. The second technology involves the use of educational, research and practical cases, their sources can be epic material: “Manas”, “Semetey”, “Seytek”. The third technology for game therapy, communication games, art therapy, fairy tale or myth therapy, technology of musical influence involves a direct appeal to the heroic epic “Manas”. The fourth technology – a workshop of value orientations – introduces the ideas of tolerance of all ethnic groups and interethnic harmony, covering the history, philosophy, worldview and spiritual culture of the Kyrgyz, glorifying patriotism, friendship, freedom of spirit and who played a creative role in the formation and strengthening of the Kyrgyz statehood, proclaimed in article 1 “Law on the epic «Manas»”.

Materials and methods of research: Through a comprehensive review of existing literature and ethnographic studies, this study elucidates the mechanisms through which folk practices shape various aspects of health, including physical, mental, and social well-being. The nomadic lifestyle shapes their unique characteristics, involving constant mobility and adaptation to diverse surroundings. Results of the study: Examining examples from diverse cultural contexts, the paper highlights the role of traditional practices in promoting healthy dietary habits, physical activity, stress management, and social support networks. Furthermore, it discusses the potential of integrating folk customs into modern health interventions to foster culturally relevant approaches to health promotion and disease prevention. Conclusion of the study: The research recognizes the importance of folk customs in shaping health behavior on the examples of Kyrgyz culture, this study advocates for the preservation and incorporation of traditional practices into modern health initiatives, thereby promoting holistic well-being in diverse communities.

Among the various technologies in the era of globalization, the influence of fairy tales is disappearing, and there are people who say that even small children do not read or listen to fairy tales. In fact, this is not the case. The fairy tale, which is an excellent child-rearing tool in the hands of our teachers, may be that among these developing technologies, we ourselves cannot use it properly and in an accessible way. Therefore, first of all, we, teachers, must take care of the fairy tale. The great power of the fairy tale was positively appreciated not only by the nation or the people, but also by humanity as a whole. The fairy tale fosters love for nature, its protection. A tool for fostering love for the Motherland is also a fairy tale. It is also a fairy tale that introduces the bad and the good, black and white in human qualities and teaches you to treat them as they deserve. In a later period, both psychologists and educators advocated the healing properties of fairy tales, calling it “fairy tale therapy”. As the proverb says, “It is better to prevent illness than to treat a patient”, it is necessary to teach children fairy tales both before and at school. When teaching a fairy tale at school, it is important not only to familiarize the child with its main story, but also to get the child to create his own fairy tale — to achieve the creative work of the student. It is not easy for a student to create his own fairy tale. To do this, the teacher and the student must work significantly together. It’s a complicated process. In this article, this complex process is experimented and analyzed in order, rather than rushing. For this purpose, a selection of three essays was presented, written based on one fairy tale and subjected to a special creative and pedagogical analysis.

"Humor" - "Humere" in Latin means "to be wet", that is, the word "humor" is translated as "moisture, liquid" (Cavanaugh, 2002). The term "humor" is found not only on the pages of modern literature, but also in the works of classical authors. For example, in Turkish literature, the word “külüt” is mentioned even in the work “Divani-Lugati AtTurk” as “a thing that is funny for the people”(Kaşgarlı, 2018). The above example proves this axiom in all literary works of the Turkic peoples. The study of humor has long occupied a prominent place in the writings of great scientists. The desire of scientists to answer the question “why are we laughing?” Resulted in the formation of the hypothesis that laughter is nothing more than an expression of a person’s psychological and physiological state. The definition of the ontological roots of humor was presented in the works of such great scientists of his time as Plato, Emmanuel Kant, Herbert Spencer and so on. A literature review identified the three largest ontological units of the so-called Theory of Humor. These directions open the concept of humor from different angles and include the following three theories: the theory of inconsistency, the theory of superiority, as well as the theory of comfort. This article offers you a comparative analysis of the three ontological categories mentioned above, using the consistent comparison of humor in two related cultures (Turkish and Kyrgyz cultures) as an example, and provides the analysis of Turkish and Kyrgyz humor. The author reveals the relevance of research on the topic of humor and shows the importance of conducting a special study of the ontological roots of humor. Abstract:
The article discusses the issues of representation of Kyrgyz customs in literary works and their modern significance. The customs of the people have existed for a long time since the birth of each nation, were formed due to a certain ethnic environment and historical conditions, have relative stability only within each nation, group and nation living there and are constantly moving from one society to another. the other, with the help of the force of public opinion, is realized and supported. The customs have undergone some changes over time, and most of them still perform their function and live among the people. In particular, we are witnesses to the fact that the traditions of lullabies, weddings, blessings and consecrations are not in the form in which they are currently reflected in folk art and literary works, but have undergone significant changes. Customs have undergone some changes over time, moreover, customs and traditions are widely represented in Kyrgyz literature, and the article proves that they represent a social rule that has been continuously passed down from generation to generation as a heritage and has been preserved for a long time. The content of the article ended with the remark that in modern times, excessive use of traditions does not benefit our people.

Количество общих пословицах в кыргызском и турецком языках очень велико, но, учитывая социальные, географические и диалектные различия, также существует множество разных пословиц, которые не совпадают по значению. The article examines marriage kinship terms in Kyrgyz and Turkish proverbs in two groups, depending on the lexıcal and semantic features and also analyzes the relationships and differences between them. Proverbs are derived from the living conditions of the people, from experience of life and differ significantly from other types of folk literature in their brevity and expressiveness. The Kyrgyz and Turkish people have very rich proverbs and most of them dedicated to kinship relations. The number of common proverbs in the Kyrgyz and Turkish languages is very large, but given the social, geographical and dialectal differences, there are also, many different proverbs that do not coincide in meaning.

In traditional music, it is possible to talk about stylizations that have persisted for many years and are widespread. The musical styles mentioned are often linked to social traditions and various cults. This work is themed on the «animal style», which we claim is a dominant style in Siberian and Central Asian music. This article is a continuation of the study titled «Animal Style in the Music of Central Asian and Siberian Turks», published in 2020, and the research I submitted as my second doctoral thesis at the Department of History at Ankara University in 2018. This article has been prepared for the purpose of briefly introducing the scope of our animal style claim and the subheadings it includes. The study is a summary of the studies on the folk music of Sakhas-Yakuts, Tuvans, Khakas, Altai, Nenets, Khanty-Mansi in Siberian peoples and Mongols, Bashkirs, Kazakhs, Kyrgyz, Azerbaijanis in Central and Western Asia. The data of this descriptive study have been obtained as a result of field research along with literature review.

<p>In the article is told about the problem of letters’ (and sounds’) f and h in Latgalian language. These sounds have never been in any Latgalian dialect, in foreign words speakers always have been replaced them with other sounds. At the same time letters f and h have been used in written Latgalian at all times: from the first known book „Evangelia toto anno“ to the present day. What to do in this situation: to keep the way of the still alive traditional spoken language, or to yield to the pressure of other languages?</p><p>The author analyzes a variety of sources: tells about reconstructions of source languages and opinions of their researchers about presence/absence of these sounds in them, deals with f in contemporary Eurasian languages (Eastern Slavic: Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian; Finnic: Finnish, Estonian, Vyru; Turkic: Kyrgyz, Kazakh, Chuvash, Yakut; Persian: Pashto; Baltic: Lithuanian, Samogitian) and h in contemporary Eurasian languages (French, Kazakh, Lithuanian, Samogitian). Latgalian and Latvian dialects’ recordings, folk songs, ancient texts (from XVI–XVIII centuries), as well as Latgalian contemporary literature are analyzed. The author also evaluates inclusion of letters f and h in alphabet of the official Latgalian terms of spelling in year 2007.</p><p>Author establishes that there are five possible paths:</p><p>1) to use the f and h in all the words where they are in Latvian, Russian or other languages;</p><p>2) to keep p, k, g and c in traditionally used words, but to put f and h in newly borrowed ones;</p><p>3) do not use the f and h at all;</p><p>4) to use both variants parallely in the same words;</p><p>5) to write f and h, but to pronounce them as p and k.</p><p>Author concludes that the actualy usable are only two of them: the second one – the way of a compromise, and the third one – as the most appropriate to Latgalian phonological system.</p>

Abstract:
The article draws attention to the role of mythology in the literature of the twentieth century, particularly in postmodernism. It is asserted that the use of myth allows you to achieve various artistic goals: create images, convey relationships. It is noted that the mythological symbolism fits well into the process of formation of intertextuality as the main feature of postmodernism. The main statements are illustrated through the work of Ch. Aitmatov on the example of the novel “When the mountains are served” (“The Eternal Bride”). The writer uses mythological plot, which is transformed and acquires a new sound and meaning, corresponding to modern reality. In the modern world, the synthesis of mythology and realism has become an integral part of culture. These changes gave impetus to the search for new signs and symbols in the literary process. Myth, parable, legend have an active formative influence on modern prose, contribute to the appearance of images-symbols, images-metaphors, images-allegories. The myth, crystallized for centuries and even millennia of its existence in the minds of different peoples, people of different eras, gives the most vivid examples of life situations, eternal emotions – such as love, loyalty, hatred, betrayal, selflessness. Ch. Aitmatov’s mastery in this work consists primarily in the fact that the actual biblical events are pushed into the background here, as it were, and the author's main attention is focused on the study of the psychosocial state of the planet. The theme of Zoroastrianism is introduced through myths: the people believe that this is the only way to return the “Eternal Bride”. In the image of Ch. Aitmatov, myths change their structure. They become closer to modern life, synthesizing samples of the mythical creativity of the Kyrgyz people with the actual problems of our time, the writer creates a truly philosophical and psychological novel embodying the sacred covenant of the ancestors about love and protection of nature. Thus, the commonality between the symbolic image of Zhaabars and Arsen seems obvious, the writer turns to the origins of national cultures, to mythopoetic models of artistic thinking, deeply reveals the spiritual world of his heroes. In his works, Ch.Aitmatov through folk mythology was able to reveal the multifaceted symbolism of the meaning of human existence, preserved in the mythological consciousness of the people. It is no coincidence that the myth - making of Ch. Aitmatov became not only a school for Turkic writers, but also a moral reference point in the development of the mythological tradition. It is discussed the features of postmodernism at the final part of the article, its difference from other directions. The use of mythologems, their creative processing is evidence of the originality of the mythological thinking of modern writers.

Since the beginning of the twentieth century, free verse (vers libre) begins an active penetration into Russian poetry, decisively moving from the category of a marginal poetic phenomenon into the most active forms of national verse. Since the end of the 1910s Russian free verse also appears in the thriving Siberian poetry. First of all, this occurs in the works of authors who work with verse in line with the main currents of the general Russian poetic tradition – relatively speaking, among the Siberian futurists, acmeists, and imagists. The article examines the process of the emergence of free verse (free verse) in the Siberian branch of Russian poetry in the first third of the twentieth century. Examples of early free verse from periodicals and books of the 1920s – 1930s, which were created in line with the all-Russian trends in the development of versification, are given. However, if we talk about the absolutely specific features of the Siberian free verse of the first third of the twentieth century, then this is, without a doubt, its use in translations and arrangements (including quite free ones) of the lyrics and epic of the peoples of Siberia. Publishing interlinear translations was common practice in those years. However, falling into the context of Russian literature, these interlinear translations were already perceived as poems, and precisely as written in free verse. The most productive source of Siberian free poetry can be considered the so-called “self- laying”, author’s variations on the themes of which are published by Anton Sorokin, Vsevolod Ivanov, Leonid Martynov and Pavel Vasiliev. Of particular interest are the Altai and Khakass “songs” of Ivan Eroshin, a significant part of which is also written in free verse. For the most part, these are small stylized lyric poems. His “Songs of Altai” is a rare example in world poetry of the reincarnation of a European poet into foreign characters – hunters, shepherds, even girls – on whose behalf most of the miniatures of the books “Blue Yurt” and “Songs of Altai” are written, performed by different types of verse. In total, from 1923 to the beginning of the 1950s, Eroshin wrote more than 40 vers libre, distinguished by the utmost laconicism combined with a bright “barbaric” imagery. A special place among the stylists of folk poetry (including the folklore of the peoples of Siberia) in Soviet poetry of these years is occupied by the poet and playwright Andrei Globa. His cycle of 1922 “Kyrgyz Songs”, consisting of 17 poems, was written mainly in free verse. His collection “Songs of the Peoples of the USSR”, which has survived three editions, includes translations and stylizations of works of different genres, many of which are also written in free verse. In addition, the paper examines the features of the use of free verse in translations and free transcriptions of the folklore of the peoples of Siberia, performed by V. Zazubrin, O. Cheremshanova, E. Tager.

The article is devoted to the texts and audio records of the SartKalmyk folklore. The Sart-Kalmyks are among the least studied Mongolian peoples living in the settlements of Kyrgyzstan. The first examples of oral folk art of the Sart-Kalmyks can be found in the manuscripts written by the Russian Mongolian scholar A.V. Burdukovin 1929, as well as in the notes made by K.E. Erendzhenovin 1933 and published in the newspaper “Ulan khalmg” (“Red Kalmyk”) in 1935. The most important sources for the study of Sart-Kalmyk folklore are the collections of the Archive of Orientalists of the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Scientific Archive of the Kalmyk Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (KalmSC RAS), where besides fables, songs and proverbs the manuscripts of the texts of the epic “Dzhangar”, the historical legend “Zyungar Khan” (“Dzungar Khan”) are kept. The fund № 16 of the Scientific Archive of the Kalmyk Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences contains the inventory № 1 with expeditionary records of Sart-Kalmyk folklore on magnetic tapes collected by the researchers of the Folklore Department of the Kalmyk Research Institute of Language, Literature and History A.Sh. Kichikov (1979), B.B. Okonov (1979), T.B. Badmaeva (1979). In the last twenty years, Russian and foreign researchers have carried out a number of important scientific expeditions to the places of permanent residence of the Sart-Kalmyks in order to collect new field material. A deeper look into the history of collecting and publishing Sart-Kalmyk folklore allows to conclude that the texts and audio (video) records made by Russian scientists are valuable sources for the study of the folklore tradition of the Sart-Kalmyks of the 20–21 centuries.
