Although the disease affects older people, recent statistics show an increase in the younger population. Flounders (Platichthys flesus L. ) were sampled from the cooling water intake screens of West Thurrock power station, Essex, from September 1987 to October 1990. Changes in population structure are determined from age and morphometric data. Adult flounders congregate in the mid-estuary in late spring, prior to their spawning migration. New recruits arrive in the estuary in summer and disperse upstream after a few weeks. Dispersal appears to involve density-dependant population regulating mechanisms. Depending on the grade of CRAs employed, the tolerance level of the dissolved oxygen (DO) may vary. Pitting corrosion tests were carried out to determine the DO limits for 316L (UNS S31603) austenitic stainless steel (ASS) and 25%Cr (UNS S32750) super duplex stainless steel (SDSS) in saline solutions. Abstract Extensive SCC growth rate testing of Alloy 690 base metal, HAZ and weld metal was performed in representative PWR primary water at 290 to 360 °C. Intergranular cracking was observed in all materials. Growth rates as high as 1.2 x 10-6 mm/s were observed in the S-L orientation with microstructural banded material after cold rolling or forging to align the planes of banding, rolling and cracking. However, not all banded material has exhibited such high growth rates. Growth rates on homogeneous Alloy 690, including extruded CRDM tubing, often showed growth rates in the range of 2 – 8 x 1

The paper is concerned with the criterion for the instability of growth of a circumferential through-wall crack in a piping system. A simple approach involves representing the cracked section behaviour by a moment (M)–rotation (φ) relation. This paper deals with wildfire identification in the Alaska regions as a semantic segmentation task using support vector machine classifiers. Instead of colour information represented by means of BGR channels, we proceed with a normalized reflectance over 152 days so that such time series is assigned to each pixel. We compare models associated with $\mathcal{l}1$-loss and $\mathcal{l}2$-loss functions and stopping criteria based on a projected gradient and duality gap in the presented benchmarks.

From the seeds of cereal crops (Avena sativa L., Triticum L., Secale cereale L. и Hordeum L.), 6 endophytic bacteria were isolated that can survive on poor soils that are resistant to salinity, herbicides and insecticides. The strains synthesize indolyl-3-acetic acid (IAA), concentration from 4,49 to 9,00 mg/ml. The isolated endophytes are promising for compiling a consortium of microorganisms capable of stimulating plant growth.

According to the results of 4-year tests, the Hazine soft spring wheat variety showed very high baking qualities. The overall baking score, the average for the years was 4,84 points, the elasticity of the crumb was 4,85 points, the porosity was 4,93 points, the volume of bread was 579 ml. The varietal feature of the Sakara variety is the potential ability to accumulate a high protein content (15,9-18,5%); high flour strength (W=264-465 e. a.) and high dough elasticity (P/L = 2,09-3,96).
