Full textThe Platonic and preSocratic allegories of the winged vehicle are the object of very numerous examinations, from Plotin and Proclus by means of the triadic theology. Philon d’Alexandrie, Pic de la Mirandole and the haggadic and cabalistic texts gave them the Alliance Arche representation. Kandinsky and Chagall painted the inflamed vehicle of Elie, in accordance with the symbol of takeoff. Dante, Hugo, Lamartine, Vigny, like poets, sang in humanist way the Homeric myth, the Platonic allegory or the religious parable. Hence the human gesture assures to it much more than a survival, but a real intellectual evolution for the benefit of a constant renewal of the understanding and the thought. Put in movement by Plato, the Homeric myth became a ‘‘logioned’’ myth by means of the speculative speech, but also a containing sign which collected the halves of the speech : belief and reason, through the nave unifying. In the run-up towards the One, the harness of the soul becomes a clearly circular symbol. Consequently, the analysis of a myth declined in an allegorical multitude of representations requires an analogical study and an interdisciplinary link between the human sciences by the coming together of various schools of thought : from preSocratics to neoPlatonics, from mystic Christian to mystic Jewish, from Scholasticism to Humanism, by the way of two important disciplines. A philological approach puts texts in competition, and hermeneutic adapts the currents of thoughts to an ideal of wisdom. They have a direct relationship to the universal and structural alternative of the pratice and the theoretical, like the moving image of eternity
Barbero, Daniel Robert. "L’ Archê chez Platon." Nice, 2005. http://www.theses.fr/2005NICE2026.
Full textThis work is trying to present the Archê as a supereminent fold that determines the double semantic area of the originary and the authority. Plato conforms the word to the current use, but concerning the thing itself, it appeared to us that the platonic thought tries to organize its sovereign superiority, exteriority, transitivity according to the relation of mimêsis. At whatever level of the intelligible or the sensible, the mimetic relation has the property of maintaining the pattern in pull back. The absolute pattern (object in the VIth book of the Republic of the promise of the mégiston mathêma) is the sovereign Good. In itself, the Good is maintaining itself in a transcendant statute withdrawing beyond the beings, and at the level of its translation in the logos, the good is maintained distant by the suspension of the discursive mode of the dialectic, replaced by analogy. According to its nature, the Good, conceived or projected as Archê is desinvolved of the causal chains that are developping themselves in the becoming, and because of that, its power cannot be anything but no-coercitive. The Good, as well as the whole intelligible, withdraws itself within the aion, of which the time is a mobile image. However beautiful it appears to the astonished soul of the philosopher, the cosmic procession is nothing but an analogic derivation of a pattern whose pure and simple beauty has determined in the conscience of the Demiurge the admirative emotion and the imitative desire. The philosopher is therefore the man who, by courtesy of the Noûs, accorded by the ascetism to the Intellect of the Demiurge, recovers energetically the originary ant initial beauty of the Archê in the derivated beauty of the images dissipated in the inercy of the chôra. This recovering is called périagogê in the VIIth book of the Republic. By definition insubstantial, the image is nevertheless no total illusion, no-being, because it vehicles a remainder declassified of the being, who, treated as an iconic support, can be converted to its pattern. The philosopher, master of himself by the command of the Noûs is the agent of this liberal conversion towards the Archê, while the philodoxer, slave of his epithumic greediness, gives himself up to the inercy of the chôra, and seizes the images only in the processive sense that sets between the conscience and the being a screen upon which will sparkle the pretences made cost-effective by the sophist. The duty of the philosopher is therefore to save the phenomenons reporting them to the sovereignty of the pattern, and to save the city applying the model of the Good in the ethic exercise of the arétê, and getting ready to assume a political sovereignty which indexation to the archê constitutes a sufficent guaranty of no-coercition to set the most efficient rampart against any drift towards tyranny

Full textThe aim is to produce a powerful antioxidant, 3,4-dihydroxyphenylacetic acid (3,4-DHPA) from L-tyrosine in the hyperthermophilic and acidophilus archaea, Sulfolobus solfataricus 98/2. Extremophiles microorganisms have resistant enzymes and interesting for industry. Cultures have been carried out in controlled bioreactor four conditions: (i) in the presence of glucose with or without L-tyrosine, (ii) in the presence of phenol with or without L-tyrosine. It has been shown that 3,4-DHPA is synthesized only in the presence of phenol and L-tyrosine. The genes encoding enzymes involved in the metabolic and potentially responsible for the synthesis of 3,4-DHPA pathway have been identified by sequence homology in S. solfataricus.Des transcriptomic and proteomic studies have therefore been initiated to confirm these hypothesis and attempt to characterize the enzymes involved in these pathways. Several toluene-4-monooxygenase (T4MO) and catechol 2,3-dioxygenase involved in the metabolism of phenol and potentially in the degradation pathway of L-tyrosine were identified. Their production is subjected to a dependent transcriptional regulation of the presence of phenol. The analysis of the corresponding genomic regions has highlighted a consensus region that could be involved in the binding of a transcription factor in the regulation of phenol. These studies helped to determine the one hand the conditions under which 3,4-DHPA is synthesized, secondly to identify enzymes that intervene in the metabolism of L-tyrosine

Full textThis thesis studies the different ways the novelists give account of a natural disaster - drought, and how the alchemy of writing transmutes this element making it possible to reenvisage narrative structures as vehicles for the expression of ideological positions. The four novels analysed are: Jacques Roumain's Gouverneurs de la rosée (1944), Mandé- Alpha Diarra's Sahel! Sanglante sécheresse (1981), Modibo Sounkalo Kei͏̈ta's L'Archer bassari (1984) and Rachel de Queiroz's L'année de la grande sécheresse(1986), [originally O QUINZE, (1930)]. In these novels, the phenomenon of drought has the status of a destabilising element, a catalyst or a backdrop against which the plot unfolds. The rhetoric of the texts describes natural elements in human terms and the authors identify completely with the point of view of the characters which reveals the deep sorrow into which hearts are plunged. By and large therefore, drought in literature helps to portray the misery of the human condition
