The integration of Ukrainian refugees into the European Union’s labor market is one of the most pressing challenges for EU social policy. Following the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, millions of Ukrainians sought refuge in EU member states, necessitating urgent policy measures to ensure their social protection and employment opportunities. This study explores the legal and economic dimensions of their integration, analyzing both EU-wide regulations and country-specific responses. One of the key legal instruments facilitating this process is Directive 2001 / 55 / EC, which grants tempo

The observed increase in the labor market deactivation is one of the most important effects of changes in Poland. While in the EU countries we can observe an increasing labor force participation rate, in Poland we note the continuing downward trend. One reason for this phenomenon is the deactivation of near retirement aged persons. It is related to the possibility to take advantage of early retirement or other benefits. One of the main reasons for this process is the employment policy in transition.

Apart from the amount of loans extended to non-financial corporations, which has been extensively studied in the literature, it focuses on credit market stability and tightness. The main results are that the volatility of credit originating from the supply side of the market has a negative influence on labor productivity, while credit market tightness is insignificant.
