Chenopodium album is considered one of the most important weeds adversely affecting agricultural production due to its highly competitive influence on field crops. Chemical herbicides have increased the efficiency of farming, but recently problems of herbicideresistant weed populations and herbicide residues in soil, water, food products and effects on non-target organisms have increased, consequently, other methods of control of weeds by using specific fungi as herbicides have been suggested. Rubber asphalt has been used in Brazil as early as 2001. Among the fabrication processes of rubber asphalt, the most widely used in Brazil is the terminal blend. However, the use of field-blended rubber asphalt has been around in the United States for decades, especially in the state of Arizona. This process results in a highly viscous material with enhanced engineering properties, but requires specific equipment that is typically installed at the job site, or close to the supplying asphalt plant. The instabilities that occur at a sheared density interface are investigated in the laboratory, the Fraser River estuary and with Direct Numerical Simulations (DNS). Internal hydraulic controls at each end of the channel isolate the subcritical region within the channel from disturbances in the reservoirs. Inside the channel, the instabilities form cusp-like waves that propagate in both directions. The phase speed of the instabilities is

The high water pressure and the relatively low temperature needed for hydrate stability restrict the distribution of methane hydrates to continental shelves and permafrost regions. Stability conditions add inherent complexity to coring, sampling, handling, testing and data interpretation, and have profound implications on potential production strategies.
