Abstract:
Nonlinear transverse vibrations of composite rods pre-loaded with lagging arranged symmetrically on both sides of the axis of the composite rod under the action of a statically applied transverse load are investigat-ed. The cases of attaching the lagging only to the ends of the composite rod, as well as when the laggings are continuously attached to the composite rod along its entire length, are considered. The results of the study of nonlinear transverse vibrations of composite rods under the action of a statically applied transverse load are presented. When conducting studies of transverse vibrations of composite rods, solutions of differential equations of vibration of prestressed through beams and stiffening cores of high-rise buildings are obtained. The obtained differential equations of vibration of composite rods allow us to determine the dynamic char-acteristics of prestressed through beams under various linear and boundary conditions. A method for com-posing differential equations of free and forced oscillations of prestressed through beams and stiffening cores of high-rise buildings and solving differential equations under various linear and nonlinear boundary conditions is developed. Expressions are given for determining the longitudinal forces and torques at the ends of the rod at any lo-cation of the lagging from the axis and at any different stiffness of the lagging

Abstract:
Lagging melt phenomenon is the special phenomenon of flux cored arc welding, studying lagging melt phenomenon is very valuable for the design and improvement of flux cored wire. Used digital camera technology, recorded the lagging melt phenomenon of acid、basic and metallic slag systems flux cored arc welding in CO2 protective atmosphere. Analyzed its mechanism and influencing factors of lagging melt phenomenon. The results shows that lagging melt phenomenon under low welding criterion is not obvious in comparison to high welding criterion but still shows lagging melt tendency. Under high welding criterion lagging melt degree increases and metal droplet separated from lagging melt flux core forms separated transfer. Under same welding criterion, lagging melt degree of basic slag system is maximum, acid slag takes the second place and metallic slag system is minimum.

Full text
Abstract:
Aiming at the broken failure of anchor cable in the mining roadway roof during the mining process, the lagging support scheme of anchor cable is proposed. Based on the results of indoor anchor cable pull-out test, the Cable element in FLAC3D is modified to realize the extension breaking of anchor cable in the calculation process. Furthermore, the minimum principal stress and volume strain rate mutation point are used as the failure criteria of the anchor cable. Through the comparative analysis of five anchor cable lagging support schemes of 6208 transport tunnel in Wangzhuang Mine Coal, the results demonstrate that the lagging support reduces the initial support resistance of the supporting structure. With the increase of lagging time, the ability of anchor cable to adapt to deformation increases gradually. When the lagging time reaches the gentle area of roadway deformation, its ability to adapt to deformation remains stable. Finally, it was determined that the support should start at 10–15 m of the anchor cable lagging head of the 6208 transport tunnel. Industrial tests show that the lagging support scheme ensures that the anchor cable can withstand a certain deformation, and the support body has no broken failure, which effectively controls the large mining-induced deformation of surrounding rock.

Abstract:
Indonesia is an archipelago country consisting of large and small islands with a large number of approximately 17,508. Some of the islands are among the border to neighboring countries. One of the islands is a border area of land that is found on the island of Borneo, especially West Kalimantan Province. West Kalimantan province is directly adjacent to Malaysia. The identic character of the Indonesian border area is largely a lagging region. Determination of priority areas is certainly needed as an effective way of developing these border areas. The objectives of the research include (1) identification of the distribution of lagging priority areas in West Kalimantan Province, (2) give recommendations related to development of lagging priority areas. Overlays of lagging region parameters and economic productivity are used to determine priority areas. The result of identification is known that Bengkayang Regency, Kayong Utara, and Melawi are the lagging priority areas. Recommendation given to the lagging priority regions are through regional development model and also based on determination of base sector.

Full text
Abstract:
We recorded unit activity in the auditory cortex (fields A1, A2, and PAF) of anesthetized cats while presenting paired clicks with variable locations and interstimulus delays (ISDs). In human listeners, such sounds elicit the precedence effect, in which localization of the lagging sound is impaired at ISDs ≲10 ms. In the present study, neurons typically responded to the leading stimulus with a brief burst of spikes, followed by suppression lasting 100–200 ms. At an ISD of 20 ms, at which listeners report a distinct lagging sound, only 12% of units showed discrete lagging responses. Long-lasting suppression was found in all sampled cortical fields, for all leading and lagging locations, and at all sound levels. Recordings from awake cats confirmed this long-lasting suppression in the absence of anesthesia, although recovery from suppression was faster in the awake state. Despite the lack of discrete lagging responses at delays of 1–20 ms, the spike patterns of 40% of units varied systematically with ISD, suggesting that many neurons represent lagging sounds implicitly in their temporal firing patterns rather than explicitly in discrete responses. We estimated the amount of location-related information transmitted by spike patterns at delays of 1–16 ms under conditions in which we varied only the leading location or only the lagging location. Consistent with human psychophysical results, transmission of information about the leading location was high at all ISDs. Unlike listeners, however, transmission of information about the lagging location remained low, even at ISDs of 12–16 ms.
