ONTOGENETIC AND PHYLOGENETIC DIMENSIONS OF LANGUAGE CHANGE IN GRAMMAR This paper discusses selected aspects of the theory of linguistic change in grammar. The main assumption is the claim that the development of the categorial functions of natural languages throughout the time (phylogenesis) mostly coincides with the stadiums of the acquisition of the same categories by an individual (ontogenesis). Using the examples of the development and acquisition of strong and weak verb forms in Germanic languages and the categorial links between aspectuality, temporality and modality of the verb, differe

It is the development of communicative activity that determines the development of speech, and not vice versa. Thus, the speech of children of the same age, but different levels of communication development, differ significantly. In the first part of the text, he discusses self-actualization from an anthropological, philosophical and psychological point of view, in order to be able to formulate a definition of the relevant term. He develops the thesis that self-actualization is a constitutional property of man as a being of his kind and a constituent of the individual, observable in his ontogenesis. The problem of formation of grammatical structure of language in pre-schoolers is fundamental for understanding development of children’s speech. A brief description of the process of speech formation in preschool children suggests that a turning point in the development of speech is isolation of morphological elements of words from the merged speech material and their synthesis in their own utterances. However, differences in the actual data of researchers prevent discovery of a conditional standard by which grammatical structure of language is formed in ontogenesis. We considered the stages
