Abstract:
Abstract Cutaneous larva migrans (CLM) also known as “creeping eruption” is a parasitic zoonotic disease caused by the larval invasion and migration of soil-transmitted helminth larvae in the skin, the most common being Ancylostoma braziliense and Ancylostoma caninum. It is more likely to occur on the feet and lower extremities. The incidence of CLM occurring over the face is relatively rare.

Abstract:
Cutaneous larva migrans (CLM) is a zoonotic skin disorder caused by the infestation of animal hookworm larvae, the most common being Ancylostoma braziliense. The larvae penetrate the skin surface and subsequently migrate to the epidermis, leaving a typical manifestation of linear or serpiginous erythematous burrow-like tracks, known as creeping eruption. This report presented a case of a young man with complaints of the serpiginous erupted lesion over the upper left thigh, following a recent history of beach travel. On dermatological examination, an erythematous serpiginous lesion and papules

Abstract:
Cutaneous Larva Migrans (CLM), also known as creeping eruption or ground itch, is a parasitic infection caused by larvae of the Ancylostoma braziliense and A. caninum species, which usually infect dogs and cats. CLM is considered a neglected disease that affects populations in developing countries located in tropical regions such as Brazil, India, and the Caribbean. Although the infection is more prevalent in areas with low economic and social development, sports activities on sand courts or beaches have led to infections among an economically privileged audience, including international trave

Despite being a common skin dermatosis in the tropics, physicians in the tropics may miss the diagnosis of cutaneous larva migrans for other pruritic skin manifestation. This is especially in those who live in urban housing with no history of travel. Cutaneous larva migrans, an intensely pruritic skin pathology is mainly contracted by people with history of beach holiday or contact with moist soft sand which had been contaminated with dog or cat faeces. Abstract:
Cutaneous Larva Migrans (CLM) is caused by penetration of skin by the third stage larvae of hookworms, and most commonly caused by Ancylostoma braziliense (dog hookworm). Humans act as dead-end hosts for this parasite. This series reports six cases of creeping eruptions that occurred on buttocks and back in four infants and on the feet in two toddlers. All the cases clustered after the rainy seasons in the months of December and January. Diagnosis was established based on history and clinical examination. All six children were administered five days of albendazole and they recovered completely
