Abstract:
Abstract. The research proposes the study of the Royal Park of Tirana in Albania, with particular reference both to the vegetation system, such as tree-lined avenues, ornamental gardens and vegetable gardens, and to the architectural elements such as the Villa, the Church, the gardener's house, the generator house and greenhouses. The few iconographic documents consist of the plans of the Grand Park of Tirana in 1957 and 1980, where some large buildings can be identified. The bibliography is relegated to the few citations found in the volumes illustrating the works of the two architects G. Bosio and G. Bertè. For the activities of knowledge of the Royal Park and of the architectural elements, in addition to the classical techniques of direct and indirect survey, we took into account the Ryobi laser instrumentation applied on portable computer support both tablets and smartphone. This digital system allows an immediate view of the relevant data on the photographic image taken by the support, transforming it into a dynamic datum. In the first phase, the relevant activity envisaged a basic knowledge extended to architectural organisms and green systems with a primitive geometric model; subsequently, measurements of architectural details, structures and the digital model were made. Appropriate photographic documentation was produced in addition to bibliographic, archival, and iconographic surveys.

Abstract:
Introduction: The clinical and economic burden of kidney stones is a challenge for the healthcare system. There is a limited bibliometric project exploring the literature trends on ‘urolithiasis’ and its related management. Methods: A systematic review was conducted to discover the related abstracts regarding each specific issue, investigated year by year from May 2000 to May 2020 (20 years). To make an effective comparison, the statistics resulting from every single study were allocated to two 10-year periods: period 1 (2000 to 2010) and period 2 (2010 to 2020). In this study, we included all English language articles, all non-English articles with English abstracts, and studies in which interventions were used for stone removal, including laser technology. Also, we excluded the studies without a published abstract, an intervention or a laser, animal and in vitro studies, and case reports. Results: These articles are about ureteroscopy (URS) (n=10360, 33.45%), percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCN) (n =10790, 34.84%) and extra-corporeal shockwave lithotripsy (ESWL) (n=9846, 31.76%). When evaluating the two time periods, there were 9912 studies available in period one, which increased by ×2.12 times (112.71% rise) to 21084 studies in period two (P = 0.001). The increase was 133%, 103.51%, and 70.4% for URS, PCN, and SWL respectively. A total of 855 studies on Laser application via URS were published on PubMed over a 20-year period. There was an increasing trend toward using laser application via URS over the study period. Also, there were 230 articles published in period one, which increased by nearly 2.71 times (rise of 171.73%) to 625 papers in period two (P<0.001). There was an increasing trend toward using laser application via PCN; 126 papers were published in period one, which increased by nearly 3.05 times (rise of 205.5%) to 385 papers in period two (P = 0.002). Conclusion: The minimal invasive interventions for stone removal, including URS and PCN, increased dramatically in the last decade, and the use of lasers in stone treatment increased significantly in the last decade.

Abstract:
Laser sintering sintering is one of the most widely used 3D printing technologies, in which it transforms 3D models into authentic parts with generally excellent workmanship, the test today is to ensure the unmatched nature of the item produced, therefore hypothetically to understand and predict the thermal history in this process, the thermal models must be exact and fair, In this article, the consideration will be focused on the different models of heat flux diffusion, in the bibliography, some formulas Numbers that describe the transport of the heat source out of the powder bed have been found. A comparison between its laser source models will be established. The re-modeling takes place in MATLAB using the parameters of polyamide12.

Abstract:
Additive manufacturing (AM) using wire as an input material is currently in full swing, with very strong growth prospects thanks to the possibility of creating large parts, with high deposition rates, but also a low investment cost compared to the powder bed fusion machines. A versatile 3D printing device using a Direct Energy Deposition Wire-Laser (DED-W Laser) with Precitec Coaxprinter station to melt a metallic filler wire is developed to build titanium parts by optimizing the process parameters. The geometrical and metallurgical of produced parts are analyzed. In the literature, several authors agree to define wire feed speed, travel speed, and laser beam power as first-order process parameters governing laser-wire deposition. This study shows the relative importance of these parameters taking separately as well as the importance of their sequencing at the start of the process. Titanium deposit are obtained with powers never explored in bibliography (up to 5 kW), and wire feed speed up to 5 m.min-1 with a complete process repeatability.

Abstract:
Introduction: Kaposi's sarcoma (KS) is a malignant mucocutaneous neoplasm caused by human herpesvirus 8 (HHV-8). Four types of KS exist and, in each of them, the patient could develop skin and visceral lesions. Surgical excision, radiotherapy, intralesional chemotherapy and systemic chemotherapy are widely accepted as treatment options. Observation: The aim of this paper is to present diode laser as minimally invasive procedure in management of oral KS. We report here a case of multiple oral lesions of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS)-associated KS, which has been solely treated with diode laser. Discussion: There is no bibliography on local treatment of oral KS with diode laser and this clinical case appears to be the first regarding this technique. Conclusion: This conservative approach, in association with highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART), is safe and effective, shows fewer side effects than chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgical excision and may be evaluated as potential treatment for oral KS.

Abstract:
The article presents changes in the structure and content of Schedules of Library Bibliographic Classification (LBC) to reflect the modern literature on Physical and Mathematical Sciences. The author describes specific features of separating the literature inside subdivision and between other divisions of the LBC Medium Schedules. The article considers the principles of separation of literature between Mathematics and Logic, representing the greatest difficulty in the systematization of literature. The range of issues belonging to the complex of computer sciences removed beyond the Division of Mathematics. Special sections on Hydro — and Aerodynamics collect literature, reflecting the applied directions in connection with a variety of technical applications, as well as separate research areas, where the studies are very intensive. The main series of subdivision on Physics is updated due to the introduction of new division, which reflects the new, rapidly developing areas of research in the Physics of soft condensed matter and Nanophysics. In this regard, there was conducted separation with the relevant subdivisions of Chemistry. Modern Radio physics turned from the applied science that supports Radio engineering in the extensive independent field of Physics. In this regard, it was decided to collect the literature on Radio physics in the Physics division, and to add the Radio band to the Schedule of special type sections on frequency ranges of electromagnetic waves. The new division of Laser Physics is introduced for the literature on physical processes related to the generation and amplification of optical radiation. The author describes the principles of separating with the subdivision on engineering technology, where lasers are considered as optical quantum generators. The Astronomy division for the first time presented the literature, reflecting studies on the detection of gravitational waves and on the origin and early evolution of the Solar system.

Full text
Abstract:
An historical overview of laser-based, spectroscopic methods that employ high-finesse optical resonators is presented. The overview begins with the early work in atomic absorption (1962) and optical cavities (1974) that led to the first mirror reflectivity measurements in 1980. This paper concludes with very recent extensions of cavity-enhanced methods for the study of condensed-phase media and biological systems. Methods described here include cavity ring-down spectroscopy, integrated cavity output spectroscopy, and noise-immune cavity-enhanced optical heterodyne molecular spectroscopy. Given the explosive growth of the field over the past decade, this review does not attempt to present a comprehensive bibliography of all work published in cavity-enhanced spectroscopy, but rather strives to illustrate the rich history, creative diversity, and broad applications potential of these methods. Abstract:
Adequate information on agricultural land suitability for viticulture are important for the expansion of the activity in wine producing regions, as the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil. This information contributes to improve the efficiency of evaluations, with the inclusion of different management levels for the crop and redefinition of limiting levels of agricultural land conditions. In this context, the objective of this work was to adapt the Land Agricultural Suitability Evaluation System (LASES) to grapevine crops grown in high-altitude regions in Santa Catarina. The LASES was modified based on the crop demands and managements, proposing the incorporation, removal, adjust and update of parameters used in the LASES. The limiting factors considered were topography, fertility, water excess or oxygen deficiency, susceptibility to erosion, impediments to meccanization, and soil effective depth. These traits were based on data of bibliographic surveys and five limiting levels were attributed to them: null, mild, moderate, strong, and very strong. Agricultural suitability classes like good, regular, restrictive and inapt resulted from the interaction between agricultural conditions and management levels of viticulture producers, and later, a suitability guide table was developed. The adaptation of the LASES to grapevine crops grown in high-altitude conditions in Santa Catarina incorporate and adjust local aspects that are important for the grapevine production system. Thus, it is an important tool for decision making when implementing new vineyards and contributes to a possible increase of this activity in the region.

Abstract:
Going up on the lookout. A laser scanner survey inside the Gallipoli castleGallipoli is a city located along the Ionian coast of Salento (Apulia, Italy) and it still preserves its original defensive system. Nowadays, the phases dating from the sixteenth century are visible together with the later ones and, in recent years, particular attention was dedicated to the Castle. It was opened for visitors from 2014, except to the so-called tower “Della Vedetta”, located on the northwestern quadrilateral’s corner. The only accessible areas of the castle’s lower level are two rooms with a connecting corridor, but the lower portion of the examined tower offers a rare proof of graffiti that has few local parallels. After a deep bibliographic and archivist research and the comparison with analogue works on similar well-studied contexts, we have carried out a direct analysis of this unknown portion through a 3D laser scanner. The scanner result proved to be an excellent tool to investigate the tower, whose articulation is made up of different rooms located on different levels connected by flights of stairs and where numerous mouths of fire are set. This 3D model allows to delineate the internal articulation, the constructive technique, the structural interventions and the whole corpus of graffiti too. The 3D survey helped to extrapolate considerable and various data. Moreover, it has suggested that a realization of a complete 3D model of the Castle can be a fruitful resource for its knowledge and it could represent a precious tool for an interactive enjoyment of the sectors still not open to visitors.

Abstract:
3D survey and advanced modeling in the study of the Forts of Rome: the Forte Monte AntenneIn the studies the authors are conducting on the entrenched camp of Rome, 3D surveys and digital models are used as means to understand constructions with the aim of developing restoration and re-utilization projects. For Forte Monte Antenne (1882-1891), the authors have carried out systematic studies of the formal and structural aspects. The data acquired from a direct survey and with laser scanner, drone and photogrammetry, integrated with data obtained from iconographic and bibliographic sources, were integrated in the creation of a digital model, which made the classification of the various elements in a structured database possible, including the verification of the relationship among the parts at varying levels, and the system of aeration ducts. Convective motions and the thermo-hygrometric and visual comfort within some of the environments, as well as thermographic surveys of the walls were conducted. The BIM model was integrated, therefore, with a MEP model. The hypothesis of restoration and possible adaptation to new functions cannot disregard the analysis of those parameters which complete the picture of environmental quality and thus of the effective potentials in repurposing of the structure.
