This research focuses on developing two analytical methods for forensic investigations using electrochemical detection and surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy. For electrochemical analysis, screen-printed carbon electrodes are used to detect metals and nitrate/nitrite compounds commonly found in gunshot residue. Gold electrodeposition and copper modification enhance sensitivity and catalytic activity, respectively.
