The role of Scottish Churches in the decision not to include Scotland in the 1967 Sexual Offences Act requires scrutiny. This article examines the role of the Church of Scotland, and other Churches, in debates regarding homosexuality in the years following publication of the Wolfenden Report. Abstract Since 1 January 2012, Hungary has a new constitution as well as a new cardinal act on religious freedom and churches. The new law replaces the registration system granting an equal legal status for all religious communities by a two-tier system with the Parliament having the right to decide on the recognition of religious communities. This issue brief provides background on Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act and implications for libraries of the potential changes to the law, as well as a summary of the discussion held during the Spring 2021 Association of Research Libraries Meeting. Through the discussion several ideas surfaced on how university and library policies connect to Section 230. A few illustrative examples from UC San Diego are included in the discussion summary.

When Hurricane Harvey hit the Texas coast as a category 4 hurricane on August 25, 2017, it resulted in $125 billion in damage, rivaling only Hurricane Katrina in the amount of damage caused.
