Abstract:
The development of the times in the country's leadership alone cannot be separated from social criticism which is inserted in the creator's content messages in the form of jokes or poetry or also parodies of songs as a form of resistance to the arbitrariness of the authorities. This article aims to instill anti-critical Christian leadership in Christian ethical values which can be the answer for Christian leaders to dedicate themselves to being in servant leadership. Using a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach where the Bible is the primary source, it can be concluded that grounding anti-critical Christian leadership in Christian ethical values is first, leaders can clearly understand the Nature of Good Leadership in Christian Leadership based on Christian ethical values. This becomes the foundation and basis for actualizing leadership with the character of Servant leadership, so Anti-Criticism is something that can be well received and of course it is in line with the values and responsibilities of leadership based on the Bible. Therefore, called believers are expected to be able to instill anti-criticism Christian leadership in Christian ethical values so that they have leadership attitudes and responsibilities in the Circle of Criticism that can be dedicated to church ministry and ministry holistically.

Abstract:
<p>The idea of leadership has been examined for millennia. Examples of leadership in action go back to Moses from the Bible and Xenophón from Greek history. One of the key theories in early leadership is that of charismatic leadership. Although most scholars agree that a key concept of charismatic leadership is that of follower attribution, defining boundaries for charismatic is as difficult as defining leadership itself. This difficulty is accentuated in this work because of the shifting organizational structures and follower perceptions. The case details follower attributed charismatic leadership traits, and then provides a robust discussion on the impact of shifting organizational constructs.</p>

Abstract:
Throughout its history, quality management has been an important factor in the success of an organization, both in the business world and in the world of education, government, politics, health and religion. There are many leaders in this world, but there are not many leaders who are good and have character. To have a model for the character of a leader we can find in the Bible and antecedents dedicated to the larger community. The purpose of this study is for every leader and prospective leader to emulate biblical figures and their predecessors so that their leadership is ultimately successful. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods through literature analysis and observations related to leadership character and performance. To become a leader with achievement and character, the leader can imitate the leadership model of the Bible and secular world leaders who have proven their leadership and influence on the lives of the people they lead. Characters that can be emulated from them are piety, loyalty, honesty, humility, holding fast to God and having integrity

Katarina & Krido Siswanto, Exemplary Leadership of Jesus and Its Implications for Church Leadership In Today. This paper is an analysis of the exemplary leadership of Jesus and its implications in the present. The author conducts literature research by looking at the principles of Jesus' leadership in the four Gospels, then finding the implications. From the results of the study, the Bible shows that Jesus is a figure who can be an example to his community and the example of his leadership is still relevant to Christian leadership today. The Bible shows that there are at least four areas of exemplary leadership of Jesus: the character of Jesus in leading, the spirituality of Jesus in leading, the management of Jesus in leading, and the ministry of Jesus in leading.

Abstract:
Task-oriented and relationship-oriented leadership styles can also be classified as autocratic or participative. Both types must be understood in terms of the decision-making process they employ. The autocratic style functions autonomously, whereas the participatory style incorporates all team members in decision-making. There are several perspectives on integrated systems in leadership, but a set of shared principles is at the heart of this interconnectedness. However, these common principles strive for people’s holistic development, so family, civic, military, and religious leadership practices coexist with seamless coordination based on integrated systems. This study's endeavor addresses ontological and epistemological problems concerning the reality, being, and function of leadership. Specifically, this work investigates a leadership philosophy with specific reference to the Book of Deuteronomy of the Judeo-Christian Bible. This work argues that what the book of Deuteronomy teaches about leadership techniques is critical and basic to all the learning that can be gleaned from old and new biblical books. This is because the Torah, or Law, serves as the foundation for all teachings in the Bible, and the Torah contains the Book of Deuteronomy. Furthermore, because Moses taught the succession of teachings in the book, the leadership concept coming from the Book of Deuteronomy can be applied to nation-building. The research uses narrative and social-scientific criticism to analyze the characters and content.

Abstract:
This paper examines the applied principles and leadership styles of great ancient men in the light of the Bible as the Word of God. Practically speaking, scholarly literature in leadership and management lacked attention to studying biblical figures as leaders. The author utilized secondary analysis of qualitative information from documented life stories of renowned leaders in human history. This paper uses qualitative content analysis to evaluate patterns of famous ancient leaders' styles in leading their subjects. With content analysis, the author is obliged to read and re-read the text, specifically the Bible as the main source of data and focusing on the specific timeline of the ancient world. The scope and limitation of this paper cover only the discussion on the prominent historical people, specifically Biblical characters and does not include the current leaders of our time. This paper hopes to bring back the basics on leading people worth emulating by modern-day leaders. It explores the successes and failures of these ancient leaders that shaped history and even world cultures.

Abstract:
Tough times are a real test and a maker of great leaders. Those who emerge as great leaders are those who have a proper strategy in place for allocating scarce resources. The crisis for Christian leaders, especially church leaders in Indonesia, is the lack of ability to face adversity through the right strategy. The root of this problem is the dichotomous mindset of church leaders that separates biblical knowledge from strategic knowledge. Ironically, the Bible has all knowledge of strategy. Furthermore, it should be the basis for determining the right strategy. In constructing a strategy, leaders should collect data through surveys and observation, provide clear and concise directions, and involve the right people in their teams. They should also consider where the younger generations fit into this process. When implementing a strategy, leaders should focus on making progress through concrete steps rather than just holding events, and prioritize urgent tasks while also keeping the overall vision and spirit of the organization in mind.

Abstract:
The Greek term Basiliea means the Kingdom of God. It is the reign of God and not a geographical location or territory. Basiliea is significant in the Bible considering the fact that God’s sovereign reign and dominion brought justice and peace. Therefore, the paper examined the significance of Basiliea in political leadership in the country with the view of encouraging political leaders to subject themselves to the reign and sovereignty of God in order to appropriate Christian leadership principles for good leadership to prevail. It engaged in a comparative analysis of Basiliea aimed at bringing the import of the Basiliea to the fore of political leadership in the country. The work adopted historical and phenomenological approaches. It made use of books like journals, bible commentaries and internet materials. The method for data analysis was descriptive and analytical. From the research, it was discovered that political leaders have neglected the values and principles of Basiliea which have occasioned bribery and corruption, embezzlement of public funds, electoral malpractice and selfish interests to mention just a few. The writer proffered solutions by making recommendations that arrested the situation.

Abstract:
The phenomenon that has occurred so far shows that many leadership practices that occur in ministry have not followed the example of Biblical figures whose leadership practice was team leadership, and the team leadership demonstrated by figures in the Old and New Testaments showed satisfactory results. Bakare, Gideon Omoniyi. "Leadership in the Book of Proverbs." Thesis, University of Birmingham, 2018. http://etheses.bham.ac.uk//id/eprint/8238/.

Full text
Abstract:
This dissertation suggests that, while the book of Proverbs is sometimes difficult to interpret and its redaction history is clearly complex, it has much to say on the important area of leadership. To test this hypothesis, it applies four steps as its theoretical framework, and these later become part of the contributions of this study. First, its exploration of leadership in the Ancient Near East (ANE) shows that the ANE offers a good background to leadership in ancient Israel. Second, its survey of the scholarly debates on leadership in Proverbs reveals that the question of how Proverbs fosters leadership has been hugely neglected. The previous discussion has centred on the settings that produced the proverbs and the impact of ANE materials on Proverbs. Third, this enquiry maintains that poetics is an important tool for biblical exegesis and that it can help us to understand the possible meanings of the text. Its contribution lies with the use of exegetical analysis to demonstrate how Proverbs fosters aspects of leadership through the close analysis of poetic devices such as parallelisms, metaphors and imagery. The thesis conducts a detailed exploration of some verses that are judged to contain sayings that are relevant to the theme of leadership in Proverbs, demonstrating their complexity. It proposes a reading strategy of classifying the leadership texts in Proverbs into themes relating to the status, code of conduct, personality, skills and actions of leaders and the community’s response to leaders. Fourth, it critically summarises the results of my exegetical findings in Proverbs and their implications for the biblical scholars surveyed, as well as for contemporary leadership scholars. The thesis concludes with the application of my exegetical findings to one aspect of leadership in Proverbs to Christian leadership in Nigeria.

Abstract:
The article discusses the prerequisites for creating translations of the Bible into Norwegian and the history of its first translation into landsmål. The authors describe the evolution of the Bible translation and incorporation in the translation of Norwegian words and expressions, and show the influence of society in changing the biblical text. Particular attention is given to the impact of the Bible translation on the spread of New Norwegian as a cultural language in present-day Norway. The paper compares excerpts from translations of the Gospel of Mark into Norwegian riksmål (1904) and landsmål (1921) language varieties. The authors demonstrate the difference between formal and functional equivalence approaches to translating biblical texts and show that translators into landsmål, while trying to stick to the original source, considered it much more important to convey the poetry of the biblical language and to make it understandable to recipients. In conclusion, it is noted that Norwegian society accepted the new translation of the Bible, which in turn opened the way for the acceptance of nynorsk (the New Norwegian) as the language of the church.

Abstract:
Recent books and articles have analyzed the causes of the global financial and economic crisis of 2007-09. Yet little attention has been paid to the quality of leadership in organizations that were at the epicentre of the storm, were victims of it, avoided it or even prospered from it. In the summer of 2009 a multi-disciplinary group of Ivey faculty decided to look at the leadership dimensions of the recent financial and economic crisis. We started by writing a working paper that laid out our preliminary views. We then engaged more than 300 business, public sector and not-for-profit leaders in small and large groups, as individuals and collectives, to get their reaction to this paper and, more generally, to discuss te role that organizational leadership played before, during and after the crisis. We examined leadership not just in the financial sector but also in many other public and private sector organizations that were affected by the crisis. In a sense, we were putting leadership on trial. Our aim in doing this was not to identify and assign blame. Rather, we examined leadership during this critical period in recent history to learn what we could, and use the learning to improve practice in leadership today and the development of next generation leaders. As we analyzed the role of leadership in this crisis we were faced with one major question: "Would better leadership have made a difference?" Our answer is unequivocal: "Yes!" We recognize that many people could argue it is unfair to criticize leaders whose decisions were based on their knowledge of the situation at the time and which only eventually, with the aid of 20/20 hindsight proved bad. We respect this view but we disagree with it. Some business and public sector leaders predicted better than others the bursting of the housing bubble and financial markets turmoil, positioned their organizations to avoid problems, and coped with them skillfully. Their organizations were not badly damaged by the crisis and some even prospered. Some governments and regulatory agencies' control and monitoring systems were superior to those in the U.S., the U.K., Ireland, Spain, Iceland and other countries that had to bail out their banks and other industries. Our evidence supports the conclusion that these companies, these agencies, these governments and these countries had better leadership. Good leadership mattered then and good leadership will matter in the future. We are presenting our conclusions about what good leadership involves in the form of a public statement of principles - a manifesto that addresses what good leaders do, who they are, and how they can be developed in organizations.
