Abstract:
The development of the times in the country's leadership alone cannot be separated from social criticism which is inserted in the creator's content messages in the form of jokes or poetry or also parodies of songs as a form of resistance to the arbitrariness of the authorities. This article aims to instill anti-critical Christian leadership in Christian ethical values which can be the answer for Christian leaders to dedicate themselves to being in servant leadership. Using a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach where the Bible is the primary source, it can be concluded that grounding anti-critical Christian leadership in Christian ethical values is first, leaders can clearly understand the Nature of Good Leadership in Christian Leadership based on Christian ethical values. This becomes the foundation and basis for actualizing leadership with the character of Servant leadership, so Anti-Criticism is something that can be well received and of course it is in line with the values and responsibilities of leadership based on the Bible. Therefore, called believers are expected to be able to instill anti-criticism Christian leadership in Christian ethical values so that they have leadership attitudes and responsibilities in the Circle of Criticism that can be dedicated to church ministry and ministry holistically.

Abstract:
<p>The idea of leadership has been examined for millennia. Examples of leadership in action go back to Moses from the Bible and Xenophón from Greek history. One of the key theories in early leadership is that of charismatic leadership. Although most scholars agree that a key concept of charismatic leadership is that of follower attribution, defining boundaries for charismatic is as difficult as defining leadership itself. This difficulty is accentuated in this work because of the shifting organizational structures and follower perceptions. The case details follower attributed charismatic leadership traits, and then provides a robust discussion on the impact of shifting organizational constructs.</p>

Abstract:
Throughout its history, quality management has been an important factor in the success of an organization, both in the business world and in the world of education, government, politics, health and religion. There are many leaders in this world, but there are not many leaders who are good and have character. To have a model for the character of a leader we can find in the Bible and antecedents dedicated to the larger community. The purpose of this study is for every leader and prospective leader to emulate biblical figures and their predecessors so that their leadership is ultimately successful. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods through literature analysis and observations related to leadership character and performance. To become a leader with achievement and character, the leader can imitate the leadership model of the Bible and secular world leaders who have proven their leadership and influence on the lives of the people they lead. Characters that can be emulated from them are piety, loyalty, honesty, humility, holding fast to God and having integrity

Katarina & Krido Siswanto, Exemplary Leadership of Jesus and Its Implications for Church Leadership In Today. This paper is an analysis of the exemplary leadership of Jesus and its implications in the present. The author conducts literature research by looking at the principles of Jesus' leadership in the four Gospels, then finding the implications. From the results of the study, the Bible shows that Jesus is a figure who can be an example to his community and the example of his leadership is still relevant to Christian leadership today. The Bible shows that there are at least four areas of exemplary leadership of Jesus: the character of Jesus in leading, the spirituality of Jesus in leading, the management of Jesus in leading, and the ministry of Jesus in leading. Abstract:
Task-oriented and relationship-oriented leadership styles can also be classified as autocratic or participative. Both types must be understood in terms of the decision-making process they employ. The autocratic style functions autonomously, whereas the participatory style incorporates all team members in decision-making. There are several perspectives on integrated systems in leadership, but a set of shared principles is at the heart of this interconnectedness. However, these common principles strive for people’s holistic development, so family, civic, military, and religious leadership practices coexist with seamless coordination based on integrated systems. This study's endeavor addresses ontological and epistemological problems concerning the reality, being, and function of leadership. Specifically, this work investigates a leadership philosophy with specific reference to the Book of Deuteronomy of the Judeo-Christian Bible. This work argues that what the book of Deuteronomy teaches about leadership techniques is critical and basic to all the learning that can be gleaned from old and new biblical books. This is because the Torah, or Law, serves as the foundation for all teachings in the Bible, and the Torah contains the Book of Deuteronomy. Furthermore, because Moses taught the succession of teachings in the book, the leadership concept coming from the Book of Deuteronomy can be applied to nation-building. The research uses narrative and social-scientific criticism to analyze the characters and content.

Abstract:
Tough times are a real test and a maker of great leaders. Those who emerge as great leaders are those who have a proper strategy in place for allocating scarce resources. The crisis for Christian leaders, especially church leaders in Indonesia, is the lack of ability to face adversity through the right strategy. The root of this problem is the dichotomous mindset of church leaders that separates biblical knowledge from strategic knowledge. Ironically, the Bible has all knowledge of strategy. Furthermore, it should be the basis for determining the right strategy. In constructing a strategy, leaders should collect data through surveys and observation, provide clear and concise directions, and involve the right people in their teams. They should also consider where the younger generations fit into this process. When implementing a strategy, leaders should focus on making progress through concrete steps rather than just holding events, and prioritize urgent tasks while also keeping the overall vision and spirit of the organization in mind.

The Greek term Basiliea means the Kingdom of God. It is the reign of God and not a geographical location or territory. Basiliea is significant in the Bible considering the fact that God’s sovereign reign and dominion brought justice and peace. Therefore, the paper examined the significance of Basiliea in political leadership in the country with the view of encouraging political leaders to subject themselves to the reign and sovereignty of God in order to appropriate Christian leadership principles for good leadership to prevail. It engaged in a comparative analysis of Basiliea aimed at bringing the import of the Basiliea to the fore of political leadership in the country. The work adopted historical and phenomenological approaches. It made use of books like journals, bible commentaries and internet materials. The method for data analysis was descriptive and analytical. From the research, it was discovered that political leaders have neglected the values and principles of Basiliea which have occasioned bribery and corruption, embezzlement of public funds, electoral malpractice and selfish interests to mention just a few. The writer proffered solutions by making recommendations that arrested the situation.

Abstract:
Abstract African Independent Churches are known to be the fourth segment of Christianity in Africa – after Roman Catholics and Orthodox Churches, and Western Protestant Churches. The early leaders had no books to read about leadership, no Bible Colleges and Seminaries where they learned about leading people. They did not have the opportunity to attend conferences and seminars on leadership. The means of getting information were scant. Despite all these challenges, they commanded thousands and even millions of people today and are influential. Some of their leaders were and are deified. This paper looks at the leadership qualities and dynamics of African Independent Churches to the extent that some of their leaders were and are treated as demigods. They have introduced a new style of leadership to African Christianity, which is gradually becoming the norm in most churches.

Abstract This article is about the Dutch theologian K.H. Miskotte and his theologically based resistance against the Nazi occupation regime (1940–1945). The leadership in Dutch churches chose a cautious and often unprincipled approach to dealing with the occupier. Miskotte, along with some others, pointed to a different way. He wanted a better resistance, founded in the Bible. He read the Bible as the testimony of the Liberator-God who frees his people from slavery to the gods and powers of this world that blind and enslave people. Miskotte’s book Biblical ABC s, though created under the challenging circumstances of occupation by a Nazi regime, also points the way for today to a way of reading the Bible that is current and surprising.

Abstract:
The young generation currently dominates the population in the church. Indonesia is also currently experiencing the third Pentecost which is occurring for the younger generation. Therefore, the younger generation has an important role in church growth, including through leadership aspects. Reflecting on these conditions, the church has a responsibility to prepare the next generation to become leaders by instilling the right leadership characteristics. Appropriate leadership characteristics can be learned through leadership stories in the Bible. One of the stories of youth leadership that can be studied in the Bible is the story of Gideon's leadership in Judges 6-8. Therefore, this research will discuss Gideon's leadership characteristics from a Pentecostal perspective. The method used is a narrative analysis of the text of Judges 6-8 and comparing it with Daniel E. Albrecht's theory of leadership characteristics from the Pentecostal perspective. The results of this research indicate that four leadership characteristics in the Pentecostal perspective on Gideon's leadership can be applied in preparing the younger generation to become the next leaders.

Abstract:
The Lisu are a largely Christian minority group in south-west China who, as an oral culture, express their faith more through a set of Christian practices done as a group and less through bible reading as individuals. Even so, the Lisu practice of Christianity specifically, and Lisu culture more generally, was profoundly impacted by the written scriptures. During the initial evangelisation of the Lisu by the China Inland Mission, missionaries created a written script for the Lisu language. Churches were constructed and organised, which led to the creation of bible schools and the work of bible translation. In the waves of government persecution after 1949, Lisu New Testaments were hidden away up in the mountains by Lisu Christians. After 1980, the Lisu reclaimed their faith by listening to the village elders tell the Old Story around the fires and reopening the churches that had been closed for twenty-two years. And they reclaimed their bible by retrieving the scriptures from the hills and copying them in the evening by the light of a torch. The Lisu bible has its own narrative history, consisting of script creating, translating, migrating, and copying by hand. At times it was largely influenced by the mission narrative, but at other times, the Lisu bible itself was the lead character in the story. Ultimately, the story of the Lisu bible reflects the Lisu Christian story of moving from missionary beginnings to local leadership and, ultimately, to local theological inquiry.

Abstract:
This research discusses the pastoral leadership of Jesus Christ as written in the Bible to be applied in the Pelita Dunia Theological Seminary. So that every graduate produced can understand and practice correct pastoral leadership in accordance with the teachings and actions of Jesus Christ. This study uses a qualitative approach that combines a literature review with the results of interviews with several alumni. Through this research, information was obtained that Jesus' pastoral leadership based on the explanations in the Gospels is clearly visible in three ways, as Jesus' pastoral leadership carries out God's vision and that means that every pastor also carries out God's vision, Jesus' pastoral leadership reaches out to the lost and improves relationships and that means every pastor also reaches out to the lost congregation and mends broken relationship with God, and pastoral leadership Jesus disciplines and sends and that means every pastor disciplines and sends the congregation to preach the gospel. In addition, this study also concluded that Pelita Dunia Theological Seminary should include and teach Pastoral Leadership to every student in order to produce graduates who can serve like Jesus.

Abstract:
This study aims to analyze the concept of spiritual example in Joshua's leadership and its impact on increasing spiritual perseverance in the context of leadership. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature review approach to explore the concept of spiritual example in Joshua's leadership and how this concept influences the increase of spiritual perseverance in the context of leadership. Through analysis of religious, theological, and leadership literature, this study reveals that Joshua, an ancient leader in the Bible story, represents a spiritual role model in leadership roles. Joshua's leadership characteristics that reflected spiritual values, such as integrity, firm faith, and commitment to moral goals, had a positive impact in guiding the Israelites and strengthening spiritual perseverance in the face of challenges. This study describes how Joshua's spiritual example inspires and guides community members to follow the spiritual values he exhibits. Furthermore, the implication of the concept of spiritual example in leadership is the potential to strengthen the moral and ethical foundations in leadership roles. This research also shows the importance of the spiritual dimension in forming meaningful and authentic leadership characters in dealing with modern dynamics. The results of this study have significant practical implications for contemporary leaders. An understanding of the concept of spiritual example in Joshua's leadership can help leaders integrate spiritual values into their leadership practices. As such, this research makes a valuable contribution to understanding the relationship between spiritual example, spiritual perseverance, and meaningful leadership in this complex world.

Abstract:
Gender bias in leadership is an egregious yet common reality in the societal mores of male-dominant cultures. Contentious ecclesial debates about gender bias pit prejudices against female leadership roles when girded by biblical tropes engaged to disparage female character and leadership behavior. Sexualized imagery in the textual narrative is misappropriated to libel females who are leading change with ethical and behavioral competencies lauded in their male counterparts. In the politically charged context of recent national elections, the newly installed Vice President of the United States was publicly labeled a “Jezebel” to connote a racially and sexually derisive trope calling into question a woman’s scruples in private spheres as well as disparaging her agency. As I refer to Tamura Lomax’s extensive analysis of this trope, I examine in this article the hermeneutical misappropriation of Bathsheba imagery, wherein the behavior of biblical figure King David is normalized as the beloved of God while Bathsheba is villainized. The presumptive insinuation is that women use sexual guiles to advance careers, social station, or positional power. Judgmental inequities in contemporary and biblical examples raise an urgency to counter negative gender/power tropes from the Bible to the boardroom.

Christian leadership values based on the Bible need to be presented to enrich the scientific treasures of Christian education. This study on the most extensive work on the Bible that Lutheran Protestantism has ever produced, the so-called Kurfürstenbibel or Elector’s Bible (first published in 1641), presents the bible’s formation under the authorial leadership of Johann Gerhard and Salomon Glassius, the style used in presenting concise biblical commentary, the many supplements to the biblical text, and the impressive array of artwork. This study also demonstrates that the preparation, drafting, and publication of the Kurfürstenbibel is, on the one hand, a media production that serves to represent the elector’s sovereignty. At the same time, however, this medium also communicates the understanding that any mediality of governmental authority finds its limit wherever it sees its own sovereign right on earth confronted with the Son of God who alone is the ultimate medium of salvation.

Abstract:
This article discusses the development of leadership in the biblical world in light of structuration theory. The use of the structuration theory is embedded in the theoretical work of Max Weber. Max Weber distinguishes three types of authority: legal, traditional and charismatic authority. In order to differentiate between the more nurturing and the more institutionalised aspects of authority (with the innate possibility of the abuse of power), Latin, rather than Western languages, provides the most useful terminology. The article traces the development from auctoritas (nurturing authority) to potestas (coercive power). It focuses on how authority manifested in the Near- and Middle-East, the Hellenistic Emperor Cult and early Christianity. The aim is to explain the ways in which power and authority function in society by reflecting on the development from charismatic to institutionalised leadership. The potential danger that the message of Jesus can be adapted to the power structures of the world, is highlighted. Deinstitutionalisation is a postmodern demystifying process, by means of which church and society can be restructured today.

Abstract:
AbstractThe essay deals with the inability of churches and individuals to take the indispensable next step of radically recasting their reading practices of the Bible in a post-apartheid society. Failure to remodel the premises and practices of Bible interpretation results in a sense of betrayal. Although the theological justification for apartheid might be confessed as a sin, the reading practices of the Bible that allowed for a theological justification never changed. However, a confession regarding apartheid entails a critique of the values embedded in the stories of the Old Testament in particular. Once this is recognised, it will be easier to argue a case for a better dispensation for women in those churches in which they are excluded from church offices. The essay discusses the recent female uproar in the Gereformeerde Kerke of South Africa against gender discrimination in their structures of power. The essay also responds to the crisis of faith generated in the laity by some of the confessions. It is argued that the laity had no means of recognising the falseness of the previous ideologically inspired apartheid readings of the Bible, because the leadership of the churches never provided them with the tools of responsible criticism. The reading practices of the past acted as a protective sheath for the theological justification of apartheid. For the confessions of the churches to become meaningful at all, and not tainted by smacks of political opportunism, a call is made for a more critical approach to the values embedded in the Bible stories.

Abstract:
The history of the reformation of the church is a very long and very memorable history for the church. The Reformation was an attempt by the reformers to return the church to biblical authority. The life of the church before the reformation was very far from the truth of the Bible, where church leaders carried out deviations and heretical teachings. Many church leaders take advantage of their position to gain profit, for example the sale of a pardon. Luther invited people at that time to turn to the true teachings of the Bible. Outside of Martin Luther, there were also reformers who continued Luther's work, namely John Calvin and Ulrich Zwingli. After 500 years of church reformation, the church today is still feeling the effects of the reformation although there are still churches that deviate from the teachings of the Bible. The church reformation changed wrong mindsets and views and brought believers to the true truth of the Bible. The results of the reformation brought believers to the true knowledge of Jesus Christ. The situation before the reformation and after the reformation is very different, where the entire leadership in the church has been changed. Leaders in the church today are not only governed by the pastor but also by people who have been chosen and determined.

Abstract. Recently, more and more education research has focused on public reaction to the code of ethics due to the decline in the quality of education, school administration, teachers and education personnel in Christian leadership in education units. Educators and the public share the view that the root cause of this low quality of education lies with administrators. This study aims to explain the importance of ethical codes and educational administration in the success of a Christian leadership. This study uses a literature study approach, by comparing several main sources related to the code of ethics and educational administration. From the results of literature study, it can be concluded that the Code of Ethics and School Administration in Christian Leadership are related to each other. A teacher is required to have a Code of Ethics in carrying out his teaching duties, and run School Administration to support the school's achievement targets. This is done by referring to Christian Leadership based on the Written Word (Bible) and the Living Word (the Lord Jesus Himself).

Abstract:
Lack of women participation in leadership positions has remained central in efforts to create an all-inclusive men-women sensitive society. Biblically, there is a resilient indication of God’s intention for women’s involvement in leadership positions. This study discusses biblical evidence supporting women's full participation in leadership and decision-making activities. The theoretical review was anchored on the tripartite approach of transformation theory of leadership, patriarchy, and liberal feminism. Methodologically, the study relied solely on secondary data collection, applying content and documentary analysis. The findings of the study showed that there are female Bible characters who demonstrated faith and exerted influence on society, successfully fulfilling their roles according to Biblical teaching. Further findings indicated that even in the ministry of Jesus Christ, women played significant roles and contributed to fulfilling his earthly mission. One of the study's recommendations was to implement affirmative action (also known as positive discrimination) as a strategy to overcome structural obstructions in male-biased institutions. This should be adopted by political parties, economic, religious, and social institutions, as well as bureaucracies.

Abstract:
Inerrancy means the Bible is infallible. Because the Bible was revealed by God the Holy Spirit Himself. Even though the researcher is a sinner; however, the initiator is a God who cannot do wrong. The Holy Spirit uses all the individual potentials (shortcomings and strengths) of the Bible writers and is completely under the leadership and control of the Holy Spirit, so that what the authors of the books of the Bible write do not come from the author, but from God concerning the Word of God himself. A Christian can accept this inerrant biblical quality, so he must also accept other biblical qualities. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method regarding the Christian education curriculum that must be based on the inerrancy of the Bible. Biblical inerrancy emphasizes that the Bible is the Word of God, the Bible was written without errors because the idea of writing came from God. The curriculum is structured based on the inerrancy of the Bible with the aim of Christian education so that learners know God's work of salvation in and through the Lord Jesus alone, so that they believe that Jesus is God, so that those who believe have eternal life and their lives are changed by the Holy Spirit through the power of the Bible. The power of the Bible is because the Bible is the Word of God. Nothing can survive under the sovereignty of God's written Word, which is the Bible. Therefore, the Christian religious education curriculum is built based on the Bible in order to achieve its goals. Abstract Recent studies have renewed focus on Martin Buber’s “theopolitics” in contrast to “theological politics.” The present study expands this work by looking at what Buber meant by God. His approach to the Bible, informed by his view that “extended, the lines of relationship meet in the Eternal Thou,” illuminates his analysis of the five types of biblical leadership. That analysis, far from separating “religion” and “politics,” seemed to assume what might be designated a civil religion. The social order was integrated with religious concerns. Underneath the socio-religious surface, however, Buber discerned universal principles of relationship. Analyzing each stage in biblical leadership as Buber presented it shows how he extended the lines of historical relationships to reveal an aspect of the Eternal Thou.

Leadership is an important aspect of the organization. If leadership is less effective it will have an impact on organizational development. Therefore we need to think about the concept of leadership. The Bible shows that there is a concept of leadership that works effectively. To discuss this concept, the authors conducted an analysis of Exodus 18: 13-27, the writer looked at it as a biblical concept for multistaff leadership. From the results of the literature analysis of Exodus 18: 13-27, it is found that the concept of multistaff leadership represents leadership centered between the main leaders and the leaders below them to overcome the issues that arise. In a multistaff leadership system the recruitment of prospective leaders who have the qualifications desired by God, then gives approval and division of responsibilities. This leadership model is still very relevant for church leaders today. Archbishop Donald Robinson (b. 1922) had a distinguished career as a New Testament scholar and senior churchman. As a New Testament scholar, he emphasized the linguistic and cultural distance between what Barth called ‘the strange new world of the Bible’ and our own. However, as a senior churchman, Robinson was required to traverse the distance between the Bible and twentieth-century Australians. Through his episcopal leadership, and notably through his work in producing An Australian Prayer Book (1978), Robinson faced the challenge of speaking to Australians about God, and finding the words by which Australians might speak to God. This article will explore the ways in which a prominent scholar and churchman grappled with the linguistic and cultural challenges of speaking about God and to God in contemporary Australia, understood against the background of the crisis of (ir)relevance faced by Australian churches in the decline of the 1960s and 1970s.

Abstract:
AbstractThis study presents a sociological analysis of the Holy Books of two world religions (the Bible and the Quran) since, according to prognoses and risk analyses, a political, economic, cultural, and religious confrontation between the world religions will be unavoidable. Special economic and political aspects also contribute to the up-to-datedness of the topic in the democratic world; in fact: the economic crisis at the beginning of the 21st century, the difficulties of managing the crisis with traditional micro- and macroeconomic tools as well as the Europe-wide issue of migration processes. These challenges have directed our attention to alternative economic solutions and policy options, including theories on ethical basis. Modern academic discourse has recently started to direct research at leadership skills as acknowledged forms of talent. The priority of moral talent is never disputed in the Bible and the Quran, more so by certain leaders holding political or economic positions.

Abstract:
In the context of the modern church, the leadership role of Christian women has become an increasingly important and complex issue. Despite increasing awareness of the importance of gender equality, there are still challenges and obstacles that hinder the advancement of Christian women in ecclesiastical leadership roles. This article aims to explore the influences and challenges faced by Christian women in ecclesiastical leadership and find solutions to promote their role in the modern church. Therefore, in this study the authors used a qualitative approach by applying a literature review and reflective analysis. A literature review was conducted to gather relevant literature on Christian women's leadership in the modern church, including scholarly articles, books, ecclesiastical journals, and theological sources. Reflective analysis was then carried out to deeply understand the influence that Christian women have on ecclesiastical leadership as well as to identify the challenges they face in the context of the modern church. Based on the literature review and reflective analysis conducted, this article reveals that Christian women have a significant influence in ecclesiastical leadership, including in ecclesiastical decision-making, public service, teaching, and spiritual guidance. However, they also face challenges such as restricted traditional roles, different interpretations of the Bible, gender stereotypes, lack of necessary support and training, and cultural conservatism. Therefore, this article concludes the need to recognize and promote the role of Christian women in ecclesiastical leadership by creating an inclusive environment, providing adequate training, overcoming cultural barriers, and promoting gender equality in the modern church.

Abstract:
Drawing on primary and secondary source material from internal and external sources, the author traces the history of the International Bible Students Association, popularly known as Jehovah’s Witnesses, in Britain, from 1881 to the present. The work of colporteurs led to the establishment of early congregations (“ecclesias”) and a branch office in London. The release of the audio-visual production entitled The Photo-Drama of Creation had an important role in bringing the Bible Student movement into prominence. Controversies shortly arose within the London congregation, which were exacerbated by intervention by Paul S. L. Johnson from the Brooklyn headquarters. The transition of leadership to Joseph Franklin Rutherford, following Charles Taze Russell’s death in 1916, caused the organization to change from the federation of independent congregations to a unified Society. Discussion is given to the effects of the two World Wars, the attempts of Bible Students to gain exemption from conscription through legal channels, and the penalties incurred by the conscientious objectors. Jehovah’s Witnesses have continued to expand their activities, through house-to-house visiting which became expected of all members, through expansion of premises, and through increased public visibility. It is concluded that Jehovah’s Witnesses do not allow their principles to be shaped by popular attitudes and values, believing that the world is currently governed by Satan rather than Jehovah.
