<p>The meaning of the word leadership is changing over time, and so is the role of the leader. Organisational labour is today required to be more self-governing as organisational tasks are moving towards a more flexible and independent nature. This requires a leadership able to inspire and motivate independent performance by acting as an inspirational mentor or coach (Bass and Riggio (2005). Those leaders and that style of leadership have many names, but in our research they are titled as Transformational and Charismatic leaders, as well as Super Leaders. Perhaps they are best described by usi

Abstract:
This study explores how high technology companies interact with their Lead User throughout the innovation process. Thereby, the study focuses on the interaction, after a company approached their Lead User. By using existing literature on the Lead User, the process of innovating as well as the interaction with users in product development, an analytical model was developed. This model served as the basis for the interview guide as well as to present and analyse the empirical data. Due to the fact that this study looks at the Lead User interaction from a different perspective, where little knowl

Increased knowledge into the physics and chemistrycontrolling emissions from flame-surface interactions shouldhelp in the design of combustion engines featuring improvedfuel economy and reduced emissions. The overall aim of this work has been to obtain afundamental understanding of wall-related, premixed combustionusing numerical modeling with detailed chemical kinetics. Thiswork has utilized CHEMKIN®, one of the leading softwarepackages for modeling combustion kinetics. The simple fuels hydrogen and methane as well as the morecomplex fuels propane and gasified biomass have been used inthe mod

Abstract:
We describe in detail a fast photon calorimeter for the endcap region of the BNL (Brookhaven National Laboratory, U.S.A.) experiment 787 detector. The experiment, conducted by a collaboration of physicists from BNL, Princeton University (U.S.A.) and TRIUMF (Canada), studies the rare kaon decay K⁺ → π⁺vv and aims at measuring its branching ratio with a sensitivity of 2 x 10⁻¹⁰, almost three orders of magnitude better than the current best measurement. A short description of the physics involved is given as well as a description of the overall detector. The endcap calorimeter is formed of two a
