This research develops a new and efficient constraint satisfaction approach to the unsupervised discovery of linguistic analogies. It shows that systems of analogies can be discovered with high confidence in natural language text by a computer program without human input. The discovery of analogies is useful for many applications such as the construction of linguistic resources, natural language processing and the automation of inference and reasoning.

A small group of quantitative and qualitative studies over the past thirty years has suggested that these physical simulations enable learning in secondary students, by promoting discourse and by conveying concept features through a range of sensations.

This work describes the realization of economic and analytical modules of information system of a learning center. It handles about the development and perspectives of its further development. The main part of it is dedicated to the development of system architecture, specification, creation of models and diagrams. An other part handles about the implementation, usage of processing and programming methods and techniques. Highly stressed are analyses and optimalization of processes. The realization of important processes is described in details. A part of the work describes analyses and evaluat

Abstract:
This work considers alternative strategies to mainstream digital approaches to signal processing - namely analog and neuromorphic solutions, for increased computing efficiency. In the context of a speech recognizer application, we use low-power analog approaches for the signal conditioning and basic auditory feature extraction, while using a neuromorphic IC for building a dendritic classifier that can be used as a low-power word spotter. In doing so, this work also aspires to posit the significance of dendrites in neural computation.
