Abstract:
The performance of lecture during brave learning has drastically decreased due to the lack of communivation between lectures and students. As a result of bold learning. Lecturers often do not do learning using zoom meetings but only provide material without explaining it. Then the risk that will arise for lecturers who do not provide student learning reports will result in students not being enthusiastic in lectures, so that they can be reviewed in an assessment of lecturer performance. Therefore a decision support system is made to facilitate the calculation process of all criteria for assessing lecturer performance. The purpose of this decision support system is to determine the criteria for a problem using the Preference Selection Index (PSI) method.

Abstract:
Most universities use manual examination systems, whereby the lecturer spends many hours to write exam sets for number of subjects, depends on how many subjects the lecturer has, beside preparing exam questions, the lecture must prepare answer scheme for each exam paper, this process is time consuming. After that, the lecturer must verify with a verifier which makes the process longer and still has no guarantee to minimize errors. Lecturers spend long hours marking these answer scripts. This process compromises the quality and talents of lecturers which could be used for better purposes such as research and modules improvements. The development of the proposed system utilizes a cumulative question bank that aggregates questions from question bank associated to it and updates continuously. The multi bloom level selection feature enables the system to categorize questions based on bloom’s taxonomy and allow proper evaluation of student’s cognitive skills. This system aims to improve effectiveness, efficiency and fairness of the examination process. The methodology applied for this research was survey and experiment methods. The survey consisted of two phases. The first phase was to get feedback of lectures of using the current examination system, the second phase was after implementing the system to get feedback of lectures after applying the new system to get the successful rate of the proposed system.

Abstract:
STMIK Bina Nusantara Jaya Lubuklinggau is one of the universities in Lubuklinggau which was founded in 2007. Currently there are 20 permanent lecturers. At the higher education level, lecturers are professional staff who are appointed through statutory regulations. As teaching staff, lecturers have an obligation to provide knowledge to students in higher education. As an effort to support the teaching and learning process on campus, selection of the best lecturers is often held directly by students. However, the process of selecting the best lecturer still has shortcomings, namely that students only choose their favorite lecturer without looking at the teaching and learning process provided by the lecturer. Therefore, this research will implement decision support methods to help make more accurate decisions in determining the best lecturer. The method implemented in the decision support system for determining the best lecturers is the TOPSIS method. There are 6 criteria used to determine the best lecturers, namely length of service, achievements, semester learning plans, teaching materials, learning media, and lecturer presence. Based on the calculation results of the implementation of the TOPSIS method on 5 lecturers who have been certified, Robi Yanto is the best lecturer with the highest score, namely 0,86.

Abstract:
One of the elements in the implementation of Higher Education is a lecturer. Lecturers are academic staff who are tasked with carrying out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education which includes education, research, community service. Lecturers who excel are entitled to be selected and get promotions and awards according to their academic performance. Therefore, we need a calculation method that can be used as a media for performance appraisal of outstanding lecturers who can facilitate assessment. This assessment includes performance appraisal which includes commitment, integrity, service orientation, discipline, cooperation, and leadership. In addition to the criteria, the assessment also includes the Employee Performance Target (SKP) assessment. This Employee Performance Target is in the form of a total assessment of lecturer performance. Two criteria, namely performance and SKP will be used as guidelines in the calculation of the selection of outstanding lecturers. Samples were taken as many as 20 lecturers at the Sriwijaya State Buddhist College in Tangerang. The simple additive weighting method is effectively used in the selection of outstanding lecturers with an assessment limit of more than 0.88. Of the many candidates, there were three lecturers with sufficient performance and SKP, with grades 0.922, 0.88, 0.94. So that the highest achieving lecturer with the highest value is 0.94.

Lecturers are entitled to get promotions and awards in accordance with their academic performance. Service of teaching and learning process of quality and professional will affect hope and feeling of satisfaction for student to spirit in follow lecture. Performance appraisal according to the favorite lecturer selection guidelines are (a) giving the syllabus at the beginning of the semester, (b) teaching on time, (c) mastering the taught material, (d) correcting assignments and timely grades and (e) serving academic guidance students well. Lecturers who can be elected are a lecturer who have given lectures on all courses in the department at least two semesters and are not currently following the learning task and has provided academic guidance services at least two semesters. Because there is no objective method to decide better and faster, based on existing data. Making the information system that can provide recommendations needed a proper method of decision making. Abstract- The purpose of this study was to estimate the number of lecturers who will be selected at the end of the year. Selection of lecturers is a way to determine the productivity of lecturers. In Act No. 14 of 2005, article 67, explained that an institution can undertake unilateral termination respectfully, when it ended joint working relationship between lecturers and education providers. At private colleges, the trigger of the selection of lecturers due to the productivity and the number of students. If the number of students is insufficient faculty ratio, while increasing productivity and excellent faculty, it still will do the selection of lecturers. The problem that arises is the imbalance for lecturers who have improved performance. It is necessary for analysis of estimates in the process of selecting lecturers, lecturers and institutions in order to be able to take a stand to solve this problem. Estimation using the design pattern of artificial neural networks (ANN) and methods of propagation, with an error rate of 0.5%. Variables that will be used is the amount of students majoring in IT (Computer Science), MI (Management Information) on campus STMIK Amik Riau, the number of Lecturer (MI and TI), and the final value of faculty productivity. In the world of higher education, lecturers are one of the main components in building quality and quantity. Good quality will give good results as well, to improve the quality of each lecturer, it is necessary to have an award given to lecturers from the campus so that it becomes a motivation for lecturers to improve the quality given to students and the community. Amik Mitra Gama is a private campus located in the Duri Riau area, in this case to improve the quality of education one of the steps taken is to give awards and appreciation to the best lecturers who will be selected every year. To realize this, we need an easy calculation system that is carried out in the form of ranking according to the final value, therefore a decision support system using the ARAS method is chosen because it is very appropriate for the selection process and provides convenience in the calculations which are determined based on ranking. The decision support system using the ARAS method uses 8 criteria that are set as a reference in determining the best lecturers, namely Recent Education, Lecturer Functional Position, Lecturer Certification, Number of Journal Publications, Roles in Research, Journal Publication History, Research Grants, and Community Service. There are 10 lecturers in the field of computers who will be used as alternative data with lecturer codes D01, D02, D03, D04, D05, D06, D07, D08, D09, D10. The results obtained from this study are the lecturer code D04 = 0.0974, D06 = 0.0965, D09 = 0.0932, D07 = 0.0903, D03 = 0.0901 was selected as the best lecturer in 2021/2022. So that the results of this study can help the campus to determine the best lecturers every year fairly and be selected based on rankings.

STMIK Insan Pembangunan is a College that was established in 1990, located in Tangerang Regency. Supported by 41 Lecturer staff. Lecturers have the position as professional staff at the higher education level who are appointed in accordance with the laws and regulations. Lecturers are educators who provide a number of knowledge to students in universities or universities. The best lecturer selection system is used to support learning and teaching activities in the campus so that students are competent in the field of concentration taken. So it is needed teaching staff or lecturers who are competent in their fields, in this case to meet the criteria of the competent lecturer is needed a system that supports in this case deciding which lecturers are considered the best. The process of selecting the Best Lecturers in the current system is that there is a shortage that takes a long time to process the results of the questionnaire data and only uses one of the criteria of the Tridarma of Higher Education, namely Education and Teaching. So that the resulting decision is not yet valid. In this study a Decision Support System (DSS) will be made where the decision support system can help a person in making accurate and well-targeted decisions. The method used is AHP to calculate the weight of each criterion and TOPSIS to rank each alternative based on each criterion. The results obtained in this study are a system that is able to produce the best rank of lecturers in STMIK Insan Pembangunan.

Abstract:
Machine learning-based classification techniques are widely utilized for accurate analysis in various fields. This study focuses on assessing lecturer performance in higher education to enhance teaching standards and produce high-quality learning outcomes. Previous studies have employed multiparameter approaches, such as statistical correlation analysis, but these methods fail to achieve optimal accuracy and precision due to limited alignment with data characteristics. This research proposes a lecturer performance measurement model by evaluating three machine learning algorithms: k-Nearest Neighbors (k-NN), Decision Tree, and Na¨pve Bayes. The model integrates three feature selection techniques to improve classification performance: ANOVA, Information Gain, and Chi-Square. The study aims to enhance classification accuracy and assess the impact of feature selection techniques on performance metrics. A significant contribution of this research is introducing a dynamic feature selection approach tailored to data characteristics, which improves classification model performance. The methodology comprises three main stages: data loading and measurement of relevant parameters; data preprocessing, including filtering, cleaning, transformation, normalization, and feature selection; and performance evaluation using a machine learning-based classification approach. Experimental results demonstrate that the Decision Tree algorithm combined with Chi-Square feature selection achieved an accuracy of 0.887, precision of 0.903, recall of 0.887, and F1-score of 0.884. The proposed modelprovides a reliable framework for evaluating lecturer performance and can be utilized to recognize and reward high-performing lecturers effectively.

Abstract:
The selection of the best lecturer at Politeknik LP3I Medan Marelan has traditionally been conducted manually, lacking clear evaluation criteria. This results in subjective judgments and reduced transparency. This research proposes a decision support system (DSS) based on the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to enhance the objectivity and fairness of the selection process. The system evaluates lecturers using multiple criteria: teaching quality, discipline, and peer assessment. Each criterion is weighted according to its institutional importance, and a final ranking is produced based on aggregated normalized scores. The implementation of the SAW-based DSS demonstrates improved decision accuracy, transparency, and fairness in lecturer evaluation. The system offers an effective solution to support academic decision-making and could serve as a reference model for other higher education institutions.

Abstract:
The best lecturers are people who not only have high academic expertise in their fields, but also have the ability to inspire and guide students well. The main problem in determining the best lecturer is subjectivity in the evaluation process. Evaluation of lecturer performance often tends to be based on parameters that are qualitative in nature and can be influenced by personal preferences, or subjective perceptions. This study aims to solve problems in the selection of the best lecturers using the MADM approach with the method used, namely MOORA in the selection of the best lecturers and the surrogate weighting method to determine the weight of criteria to be used in the selection of the best lecturers. The ranking results show no difference in ranking from the rank sum, rank order centroid, and reciprocal rank weighting methods. The results for rank 1 were obtained on behalf of ID Lecturers, rank 3 was obtained on behalf of SH Lecturers, and rank 3 was obtained on behalf of KU Lecturers, using the rank sum, rank order centroid, and rank reciprocal weighting methods. The comparison results that the rank sum, rank order centroid, and reciprocal rank weighting methods are very suitable in recommending the best lecturers by applying the MOORA method. The combination of rank sum weighting method and MOORA, the combination of rank order centroid and MOORA weighting method, and the combination of reciprocal rank weighting method and MOORA there is no difference in the final ranking of the best lecturers.

Genetic algorithm (GA) approach is one of an evolutionary optimization technique relies on natural selection. The employment of GA still popular and it was applied to many real-world problems, especially in many combinatorial optimization solutions. Lecturer Timetabling Problem (LTP) has been researched for a few decades and produced good solutions. Although, some of LTP offers good results, the criteria and constraints of each LTP however are different from other universities. The LTP appears to be a tiresome job to the scheduler that involves scheduling of students, classes, lecturers and rooms at specific time-slots while satisfying all the necessary requirements to build a feasible timetable. This paper addresses the employment and evaluation of GA to overcome the biggest challenge in LTP to find clashes-free slots for lecturer based on a case study in the Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, University Technologi MARA, Malaysia. Hence, the performance of the GA is evaluated based on selection, mutation and crossover using different number of population size. A comparison of performance between simple GA with Tournament Selection scheme combined with Elitism (TE) and a GA with Tournament (T) selection scheme. Lecturers are individuals who have professional and scientific expertise, with the main task of changing, developing and disseminating knowledge, technology and art through educational activities, research and community service. Until now, the selection process for Non-Computer Lecturers has focused on experience as an educator, although there are several other criteria that can be used as a basis for selecting Non-Computer Lecturers. These criteria include Grade Point Average (GPA), ability to collaborate in a team, physical and mental health, expertise in interpersonal skills, and ability in Micro Teaching. The selection process for Non-Computer Lecturers requires support from a decision support system (DSS). DSS is part of a computer-based information system (including knowledge-based systems) that is used to assist in decision making in various types of organizations or entities. In this research, the Weighted Product (WP) method is used to select the best Non-Computer Lecturers. The choice of this method is based on its ability to evaluate and select the best solution from a variety of available alternatives. The results obtained from this research are that alternative A1 with the name Lecturer "Melda Panjaitan, M.Pd" with a value of Vi = 0.2220 is the best alternative.

Continuing education to post-graduate level, even doctoral is the dream of all educators, in this case, lecturers. However, the limited cost is one of the obstacles encountered by a lecturer. The existence of scholarships given by institutions to lecturers to continue their education is a dream for a lecturer. But in awarding the scholarship, use the criteria set, so that the awarding of post-graduate scholarships to selected lecturers is correct and free of errors. For this reason, the author intends to conduct research on the selection of post-graduate scholarships by applying the AHP and WASPAS methods. AHP is used to produce weights on each criterion according to the priority of the criteria for awarding a post-graduate scholarship. While the WASPAS method is used to rank the alternatives. It is expected that the results of the study will provide effective results for the institution towards recipients of post-graduate scholarships.

Abstract:
The hybrid method is a combination of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, the Profile Matching method, and the Composite Performance Index (CPI) method, which is used as a process in a decision support system (DSS) to select the best performing lecturers. The selection process requires a systematic mechanism to ensure consistency and transparency in making decisions. So this study used a hybrid method with the criteria listed in the teaching and learning scorecard and the results of student evaluations for selecting the best-performing lecturers. This research aims to provide knowledge about the computed value of the priority level and consistency ratio of criteria from the AHP method, as well as the competence GAP value from profile matching and the ranking value for each alternative using the CPI method. Results showed that the hybrid method succeeded in calculating the weight value of the level of importance and the criteria consistency ratio of 0.049 and was able to determine the best-performing lecturer from 46 alternatives as a candidate with the highest ranking score of 141.12

Abstract:
Students at UAD can join various projects offered by their lecturers, including research, internships, assignments, and competitions. These opportunities are typically communicated through research workshops or WhatsApp groups. Currently, more lecturers are getting research projects that require students as technical members, but they need to be sure about the students' sufficient abilities. On the other hand, not all students receive this information, and project monitoring is often done informally via WhatsApp. All students should get projects so they can graduate from project management courses or internships. To address this, lecturers can help speed up the process of students getting projects by inviting students to join their projects. An application was proposed to streamline information dissemination, student selection, and project monitoring. The study employed the double diamond method—Discover, Define, Develop, and Deliver —to design the app's UI/UX prototype. Usability and user experience testing showed high success rates for both lecturer and student applications, with 91.81% and 84.54% respectively. The student app scored well on attraction (1.63), clarity (1.45), efficiency (1.70), accuracy (1.70), stimulation (1.95), and novelty (1.40). The lecturer app scored even higher on attraction (2.47), clarity (1.45), efficiency (2.25), accuracy (1.95), stimulation (2.65), and novelty (2.45).

Abstract: The role of lecturers in higher education is one of the most influential parts of the quality of students produced. Lecturer educational qualifications are also an important aspect of improving academic and institutional quality. Selection of foundation scholarships in the form of doctoral education currently has problems in choosing prospective lecturers. In the selection of doctoral scholarships for potential lecturers, there is still subjectivity in their selection manually. As a supporting medium in determining the selection of potential lecturers to obtain doctoral education foundation scholarships and testing the SMART (Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique) method to provide scholarship recommendations for prospective lecturers. The selection process uses the SMART method because this method is able to solve multi-criteria problems from the foundation, in this case the Chancellor of the Indonesian Community Development University. Furthermore, the criteria are processed using an application built using the PHP and MySQL programming languages to test these criteria. From the application built, it can be concluded that Yuanita, M.Si with a score of 0.7342 and Khairuddin Tampubolon, M.Si with a score of 0.6311 are entitled to get a doctoral education scholarship from the foundation. Then subjective and computerized decisions can be obtained in this study.. Keywords: Decision Support Systems; Mysql; PHP ; Potential Lecturer Scholarships, Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique. Abstract:
Lecturers are resources owned by the University. One of the efforts to improve the quality of lecturers is by giving appreciation in the form of rewards or awards to the best lecturers or lecturers who excel. However, to be able to provide these rewards, of course there are several assessments that will be given to lecturers. The problem is how to give the assessment so that the lecturer is declared worthy to receive a reward or award. There is a decision support system or abbreviated as DSS where in the system there are several methods that can be used to provide an assessment of course with the determined assessment criteria. In this research, the method used is the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) and Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) with several criteria into consideration. The results showed that alternative A3 and A2 were selected as outstanding young lecturers.
