Cílem této práce bylo analyzovat prostředí extraligy ledního hokeje v oblasti péče o diváky. Pro splnění tohoto cíle bylo stanoveno několik dílčích úkolů. Teoretická část práce nejprve popisuje marketingový mix modifikovaný pro sportovní kluby. Dále práce popisuje teorii finančních systémů a její aplikaci na prostředí sportovních klubů. Teoretická část se dále věnuje teorii competitive balance a teorii poptávky a jejímu využití pro sportovní kluby. Praktická část práce sleduje tyto dílčí cíle: analyzovat návštěvnost ELH, analyzovat vyrovnanost ELH, aplikovat marketingový mix na hokejové kluby, provést dotazování zástupců jednotlivých klubů a provést hodnocení klubů ELH podle péče o diváka.

A general player valuation model in ice hockey and football that would estimate player transfer price based on performace atributes as well as on personal and club atributes doesn't exist. There are no general rules on player transfer market that would set the player transfer price. The main aim of the dissertation thesis is to set up a model that would estimate player transfer price on the player market at a level when the selling club would earn at least the same amount that he invested to he player. Specific model for football and ice hockey is also introduced in the thesis. The specific model estimates transfer price based on the price of a same quality player abroad. General and specific models fit together. They form a guideline for sport managers, agents as well as for public while estimating player transfer price. The models are introduced, the transfer prices are estimated and compared with known transfer price on the player market. The major acquisition of the models is transparent price settng for player transfers, focusing on player transfers from Czech Republic abroad. The models are easily reversible for different collective sports.

The subject of this work is the beginning of women's ice hockey in Kladno, Czech Republic. This study deals with the continuity of the team in its early years from 1986 to 1992. The author uses Clifford Geertz interpretative approach to culture and oral history as a method. The rise of Kladno women's hockey club is shown in the context of women's hockey history in the World and Czechoslovakia. The story of the club is based on analysis and interpretation of interviews which were led with seven hockey players from the first generation. The work shows everyday life of hockey players in Kladno and also shows the dynamic of the team life in late eighties. The whole story is situated in social and sport life in Kladno, where ice hockey was very popular game and entertainment. As a crucial factors, which helped the preservation of the club after it was abandoned by its founders, were identified firstly the transition of the team from "friendship first" club to the team where it is mostly important "what happened on the ice" secondly the ability of the first hockey players to accept new joiners. The paper explains founding of the tradition of one sport club in former Czechoslovakia.

Title: Monitoring circumstances for yourth ice hockey in selected hockey clubs in smaller towns Purpose: Main aim of diploma tesis is to decribe situation in selected ice hockey clubs in Czech republic. Visited clubs were choosen by small numbers of members in youth categories of ice hockey players. Huge effort of the diploma tesis is detect causes unsatisfactory situation in clubs and suggest the best solutions to expansion and development youth membership. Methods: Survey is based on depth and sturctured interviews with the expert guidance of the clubs and the mayors of the cities. Next method used in diploma tesis is utilized content data analysis. Thanks to using these two methods was formed qualitative research, which was summarized and described in 18 case studies. Results: Both methods are qualitatively processed in case studies. There are carefully and accuratelly reasons of decreasing youth membership in ice hockey clubs. There is also decribed way of solution. Title: Ice Hockey Injuries in the Professional Ice Hockey leagues in Czech Republic Objective: The aim of this thesis is to investigate the incidence, types, severity and mechanisms of injury in Czech ice hockey players at the highest competition level during the season 2010/2011. Methods: Data were collected by the non-standardized six-side questionnair from 11 teams in the highest ice hockey league in Czech Republic for season 2010/2011. Findings: There were a total of 559 injuries, 18,4% injuries occured during praktice, 75% during games. The overall game injury rate was 57,4 per 1000 games. The most common injury was laceration in the face. Collision with an oponent, with the boards or fall on ice caused nearly 38% of injuries. As for severity, 45,1% injuries were classified as minor and 14,3% as major injuries. Of the 419 game injuries, 65,2 % occured in forwards, 28,1% in defensemen and 6,7% in goalkeepers. The thesis "Be fit, build your homeland, defend peace" or Physical Education and Ice Hockey in Post-February Czechoslovakia looks at thema of this popular winter sport by sociocritical discipline optics through sport's sociology. This unconventional approach focus on social practise rather than tables of results ice-hockey teams. The czechoslovak stalinism did not display itself only over repressions and polical demagogy. It strived for a creation of new social order that should have been better than previous were. It is appropriate to remember this, in order to understand behavior and motives of then people. The thesis perceives nature of czechoslovak physical education and ice hockey after 1948 as an integral part of European physical education systems through which modern state applies biopower claims.

Title: Evaluation of strength development during the hockey season in category of younger cadets Objectives: The main objective is to determine the effectiveness of the two months weight training program in the racing season 2014/2015 with a younger junior category players in ice hockey. Based on the results of motor tests before and after the intervention to assess the effectiveness of strength training, respectively. ineffectiveness of strength training. Another goal is to perform a literature search of titles that deal with issues of youth strength training. Methods: This research work was realized with the help of motor testing method. Results: In both monitored file has been changed levels of power capabilities. The research group was divided into two sets. A set of graduated strength program, file B is not. In individuals from Group B were major changes of power capabilities, although weight training did not pass. Individuals who, have at least the first measuring points is compared to the last testing improved the most. For individuals who have the most points in the first measurement occurred against the last test for such a big change. This device was calibrated and validated for detection of loading force vector, bending force vector and point of force action on the skate blade. For some cases was described a casuistic mean of measurement by new measuring device "measuring skates" and former device Footscan Insole®. The measurement of loading forces during ice-hockey may be used in practise of skating technique, predictive or protective biomechanics. Future use is also research of discomfort in ice-hockey boots or sportsengeneering. Title: The analysis of shooting effectivity from rink area in EUHL by team of Charles University Objectives: The aim of submitted thesis is to determine the effectiveness of shooting in hockey team UK Prague in terms of the place of shooting, From which part of the offensive zone and which type of shots the biggest amount of goals was scored and vice versa, where the shooting did not succeed and shooting was not very effective. This thesis should indicate the possibilities of improving the scoring effectivity for the coming seasons. Methods: The diploma thesis uses the method of statistical data analysis. Statistical data were obtained in the form of indirect observation of video recordings of the hockey games. Results: From statistical data was found that in the 2018/2019 season were the most effective zone in terms of the place of scoring zones number 1 and 2, or the so-called slot. At the same time, it was found that the most effective way to score a goal was a rebound, and in the presence of a screening attacking player in front of the opponent's goalkeeper, were scored 38,16% of all goals. Title: Use of time in training the 3th grade Objectives of work: To find out use of time in training the 3th grade of czech teams and compare them with theoretical knowledge, which recommend ČSLH and USA hockey. Methods: Data were collected using the method of indirect observation. During our visits to selected clubs we made the video, which served us as a source of information and data for this work. Tested object represents 4 clubs in the Czech republic. The data from the video were processed into the charts, graphs created and the results compared. Results: In all four tested clubs players are actively in training unit over 25 % of the training time. Mountfield Hradec Králové and BK Mladá Boleslav join his players in training unit more than 50 % time of training. HC Stadion Vrchlabí waste time 12,1 % of training time, Mountfield Hradec Králové 12,8 %, Bílí Tygři Liberec a BK Mladá Boleslav over 25 % time of training. Skating and individual skills train in all tested clubs with the exception of Mladá Boleslav over 60 % training time. Three clubs applies small- area games over 30 % time of training. Title: The effectiveness of conditioning program in the pre-season time in players of the KLH Chomutov ice hockey team. Objectives: The main aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of conditioning program before the season, using the Wingate Test. Another objective was to determine the load capacity in terms of the on-ice and off-ice training program. We also tried to compare the test results of younger and older players. Methods: During the actual implementation of the thesis, we used selected diagnostic instruments that characterize the level of velocity - power assumptions of ice hockey players in the men's cathegory. For testing we used the Wingate Test. The tests were applied before and at the end of the pre-season time. During the reporting period, we evaluated changes in the level of individual indicators of the Wingate Test. Results: The results show that the off-ice and on-ice conditioning programs do not have the same volume and content of the load. Increased volume and content of the load was observed in the on-ice conditioning program. The content of off-ice conditioning program in the pre-season time in ice hockey is a non-specific activity focused mainly on development of speed-strength abilities. The diploma thesis deals with pre-match preparation at a professional level for ice hockey players under 16 years of age with the Russian and Czech national teams. The aim of the work is to map and compare the pre-match phase for the Czech and Russian national teams up to 16 years old. I divided the work into several parts. The theoretical part is devoted to the characteristics of ice hockey, sports performance in ice hockey, fitness training, warm-up, hockey training, hockey match, stretching and eating. The practical part specifically focuses on the Russian and Czech national teams, contains records of morning training, meals, pre-match preparation, pre-match training, roster, number of goals in the games, games results and post-match stretching. I used observation, interview and statistical methods to find out the results for the practical part.

Methodology: It was used scientific method of observation - theoretical-empirical character. The results were measured by pre-intervention and post- intervation measurements. The results were compared with using a Cohen's coefficient d, an arithmetic mean and a percent. Results: We have created the battery of comepnsatory exercises suitable for ice hockey players. This battery was created by studying the literature, consulting with coaches and physiotherapists and from personal experience. We were found differences in all tests compering pre- intervention and post-intervation measurements, which indicate a tendency to qualitative shift. Title of dissertation: Selected factors of success of Czech goalkeepers' sports performance and the analysis of the goalkeeper's game activities in the basic part of the Tipsport extraliga ČSLH 2017/2018 Objectives of dissertation: To find out whether there is an association between the body height and the total percent success of Czech goalkeepers in Czech Hockey Extraliga. Another aim was to analyse the success of particular game techniques in the matches of the basic part of the competition. Methods: Comparison of the body height and the achievement of players by using the Pearson-co- correlation coefficient. The research part of this thesis was carried out through the method of indirect observation of 14 Tipsport extraliga matches. It is particularly a technique of goalkeeper's selected game activities and the analysis of their success. Results: According to the results of correlation it is obvious that there is no relationship between the body height and the percent success of the goalkeeper. Goalkeepers of the Czech extraliga use the game activity butterfly more than 90 percent while responding to the kicked hockey puck in every hockey match. The success of the following game activity and its technique (reverse V-H) is bellow the boundary of 90 percent.

Title: Retrospective evaluation of results Wingate test in their junior national U18 Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to compare condition levels according to the Wingate test and game results achieved in individual MSJ U18 and determine the degree of functional dependence Wingate anaerobic test parameters according to the U18 category, with a later application of the elite players in the world competitions. Methods: In this thesis has been used retrospective collection of quantitative data from sources ČSLH. Evaluation data were gathered using a correlation relationships of speed and power variables and placement classes at MSJ, respectively. achieved level of competition. The comparison of speed and power variables between years was used analysis of variance with repeated measurements. Results: It was found that the velocity-force characteristics ice hockey player found Wingate test does not have a statistically significant effect on the location of MSJ year and only low statistical significance was found between the variable ANC/kg and the level of competition achieved by the player. This diploma thesis deals with comparison of physical abilities of younger school pupils in ice hockey and floorball. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the first part, the thesis deals with the theory that summarizes all information about ice hockey and floorball among pupils of younger school age. There are also theoretically processed chapters on motor abilities, annual training plan and regeneration and compensation exercises. The main aim of this work is to map and compare the level of motor abilities after a one-year training cycle in 2018 and 2019 for younger school age players in ice hockey and floorball using motor tests. Secondary objectives are to measure the increase in dexterity, endurance, strength after a one-year training cycle for ice hockey and floorball players. To map the negative effects of sport training on posture for ice hockey and floorball players and to develop a draft compensation exercise program for ice hockey and floorball players. In the second part, the thesis deals with the comparison of the level of motoric abilities of younger school pupils in ice hockey and floorball by measuring motor skills. This diploma thesis deals with the economy of professional hockey clubs in the Czech Republic. The thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part is about intangible assets in according to Czech accounting legislation and also in according to the international accounting standards (IAS/IFRS). Intangible assets (especially the player's contracts) are important for the operation of sports clubs. In the practical part are used selected methods of financial and correlation analysis for evaluation of individual clubs from the perspective of financial and economic view. These methods are also used for a determination of the relationship between the economic crisis and the economy of clubs. In the diploma thesis is also suggested a solution for reporting sports contracts according to IAS/IFRS.

My diploma thesis is dedicated to the problem of creating a cult of personality around ice hockey coach Ivan Hlinka. It is focused on two key periods: The first is the victory of the Czech ice hockey team at the Olympic Winter Games in Nagano in February 1998 , the second is the period after Hlinka's tragic death in August 2004. The aim of the thesis is to analyze how much media influence the creation of a cult of personality by reporting about these two events. Objects of interest of my thesis are the process that puts a coach almost into the role of national hero . The second aspect of the work is the tabloidization of the topic such as a tragic accident and subsequent Hlinka's death. The thesis defines a cult of personality generaly and also from a historical perspective and adds the most famous reprsentative of cult of personality - Soviet dictator Josif Vissarionovich Stalin. In addition, it is dedicated to the cult of personality of athletes in general. This thesis not only presents Ivan Hlinka from a hockey standpoint, but mentions also his personality through a conversation with his longtime friend Josef Beránek sr. The final analysis is devoted to the representation of Ivan Hlinka in two specific print media during the two selected periods.

Aim of the thesis The main aim of this thesis is an analysis breakouts by extraliga junior team, selection the most effective variant and their subsequent comparison with the Canadian national team to 20 years. Constituent part is to create a complete overview of the theoretical knowledge which can be used in the analysis breakouts. The analysis can serve as an inspiration for coaches of youth cathegory during training and acquisition in this phase of the game. Methods In the thesis tracking method was used, which was used in the analysis breakouts. The analysis was performed by using the method of direct observation of the game, but also indirect observation of video recordings provided by videocoaches or assistant coaches of selected teams. Results During analyzing domestic literature, it was found that it is not paid enough attention to the breakouts and there is no methodology developed compared to a foreign literature. Of the reporting teams and their variants for the breakout and development of the attack, three of the most effective were selected. For comparison, there were also mentioned variants of the breakouts of the Canadian national team under 20 years, which was followed at the World Cup to 20 years. Title: Development of speed skills in ice hockey in categories U11, U13, U15 Objectives: This master thesis is mainly focusing on verify whether the development of speed skills on the ice in ice hockey is effective off-ice training. Another goal of the thesis is to experimentally verify if the development of speed skills has a different impact on selected age groups according to the same intervention program. Methods: In this master thesis was used the method of quantitative analysis of results. The measurement took place in the form of motor tests, which were compared between two research groups. Results: All categories were divided into two research groups, which completed a six-week intervention training program on-ice and off-ice or only on-ice. In the 20 m direct sprint test and test stop and start, there was a significant improvement more in the experimental group of all categories, which we assessed according to Cohen's d. In the reaction test, only the experimental group U15 improved. In the last agility Illinois test, experimental groups U13 and U15 improved. For the other groups, the players either did not improve significantly or both groups improved equally. Methodics: File for research: Five hockey academies from different countries were selected. Representative of the Czech Republic was the HC Sparta Praha, HC Energie Karlovy Vary and HC Rytiri Kladno who holds status adept for academy of CSLH. The Notre Dame Academy was observed in Saskatchewan, and the fifth academy was Norwegian Lillehammer. The conditions, running and testing of players were explored. Questioning was done orally or by correspondence. Conclusion: Although the compared results have their limits, it showed that Canadian Notre Dame is the most effective model for developing hockey players. This thesis deals with the history and the current situation in physical education and sport in Český Krumlov. Above all, it focuses on the development of individual sports societies and the course of their activities from their beginnings to the present. The development of sport in the chosen area is divided into particular phases, according to important milestones of the historical development of our country. The thesis is devoted to all the important sports in Český Krumlov. Sports associations are chronologically classified into individual phases according to their origin in the first two chapters. The other two chapters classify individual sectors according to their importance in the city. The first period starts at the beginning of organized sporting activities in the city, known from preserved materials and is dated up until 1918, that is, until the end of the First World War. The second period takes place during the interwar period, until the end of the Second World War. The third period begins in 1945 and ends in the revolutionary year of 1989. The last fourth period is devoted to the latest sporting history from 1989 to the present. The oldest information was drawn from the preserved chronicles, archive sources of individual sports associations, literature, and the period novels. Information from the third and fourth periods are complemented by interesting facts from interviews with witnesses to the establishment of physical education sections and particular sporting events.

Methods: For my research I chose the method of monitoring the heart rate of referees using POLAR cardiotachometers, as another method I used monitoring the intensity of the refferee' load and last was the invasive method of measuring lactate using SCOUT Sirius lactate meter and then Lactate Scout Start Set SensLab. The investigation was carried out on a total of 12 judges II. liga (4 main referees and 8 line referees) and on 19 Tipsport Extraliga ledního hokeje referees (10 main referees and 9 line referees). In total, 31 referees aged 30.1 ± 6.2 years. Heart rate was measured in all referees. The intensity of the load was measured for 19 referees, specifically 8 referees from II. liga ledního hokeje (4 main referees and 4 line referees) and 11 referees from the Tipsport Extraliga ledního hokeje (7 main and 4 line). Title: Development of agility during on-ice and off-ice trainings for ice hockey players in the youth category. Objectives: This diploma thesis is mainly focusing on verify whether off-ice training or on-ice training is more effective and cause better agility improvement on the ice. Another goal of the thesis is to experimentally verify if there is a motoric transfer to agility on ice due to agility training off the ice. Methods: In this experiment, I had seven participants divided into two separated groups. The task for the groups was to undergo two, one month training programs, on - ice and off - ice. Results were measured by method of quantitative analysis of motoric test results. Results: In both of the monitored groups, the results were improved in two out of six tests. For the research, the participants were divided into two groups. Both groups completed a month long training program on ice and off ice. In the direct 6.1m sprint test, direct 35m sprint and S - Corner, the results did not change. In the slalom-puck test, a difference was found in the Cohen d values between the group which began only on ice and in the group that was beginning office after both periods. Title: Compensation program for youth in ice hockey. Objectives: The main goal of this work is to compile and verify the effectiveness of the compansation program for ice hockey players in the older school age category. Methods: In our work, we used the empirical qualitative type of research of one 10 - member control group of ice hockey players of the same age group, aged 12-13, conceived as a quasi-experiment. The muscle imbalances are evaluated in the practical part. Based on the results of the input diagnostics of the postural and phasic muscles we built a compansation program containing a battery of exercises set up to relaase, stretch and strengthen the most problematic areas of the movement apparatus of ice hockey players. The results evaluate the effectiveness of the compensation program, which has been running for ten months. Results: The work proved the hypothesis that the compansation program works. The compansation excercises positively influence the muscle imbalances. The control group has achieved better results in output testing. The evaluation was based on comparison of the results in Wingate test of the research groups and specified standards of the first league (ELH) players. The other purpose was to find out whether there are differences between the results of the forwards and defenders. Methods: There were used the research methods of quantitative analysis including effect size. Research sample consists of the group of 26 forwards (mean age = 20.5 ± 4.4) and the group of 16 defenders (mean age = 23.2 ± 4.5) who have played in NHL. Results of the main parameters, i.e. peak power output, peak power relative to 1 kg of body mass, anaerobic capacity, anaerobic capacity relative to 1 kg of body mass, of the 30 s anaerobic Wingate were used. Objectives: To find out and compare frequency of individual skills and game situations between mini and regular ice rink at 9 - 10 old players. Methods: The research was carried out and analyzed with video recording of 16 ice hockey games - 6 mini hockey and 10 regular ice hockey games during the season 2014/2015. The research has been made up by 6 players born 2005/2006 from HC Sparta Praha. Gained data have been entered into table and subsequently statistically evaluated and compared using the range of scatter analysis (ANOVA). Results: The diference between avarage frequency of followed individual skills (puck kontrol, passing and receiving and shooting) comparing mini and regular ice hockey ring has been in all cases in benefit of mini hockey. There has been one exception - the unsuccessful receiving puck, where both areas had been equally qualified. The thesis "Media image of nine ice hockey world championships in the Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic in the contemporary press" focuses on reporting on nine ice hockey world championships hosted by the Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic in media. This is done by qualitative analysis of articles in the contemporary press in both specialized sports daily or weekly papers and general papers. The goal of this thesis is to prove how the style of reporting changed since the first championship in 1933 through seven decades to the last one in 2004. Apart from analyzing the degree and target of critique and style of reporting, it also focuses on the influence of current political climate and propaganda in the period between world wars, after the World War II, 1968 Russian occupation and shortly after the Velvet revolution. The reporting period was set at one month before the start of each tournament and two weeks after it's end. In case of 1933 and 1938 championships, the thesis analyzes the following papers: Rudé právo, České slovo, Národní politika. This thesis entitled "The Media Image of the Czech Hockey Team in the years 2010 - 2015" deals with the presentation of the Czech national ice hockey team at the World Championships in 2010, 2013 and 2015, in the Mlada fronta Dnes and the Sport daily newspapers. It focuses on the media image created during the championships with different process, results and circumstances. The theoretical part presents the concepts, methods and procedures. It focuses on the introduction of semiotics, its principles and explains the basic concepts of the semiotics and semiotic analysis work. Another area is the media construction of reality, which is important for analyzing media image. The media coverage of the sports events, myths associated with it, creating a statute of athletes' celebrities or presentation of national pride and identity in the background of sports events are the important topics of the presented theoretical starting points. In the methodological part there is presented the research project explaining the topic, objective and a sample of the research, the tasks of the research and also questions addressed in subsequent practical part. Title: Difference in the efficiency of heavy puck and light puck training in midget male ice hockey players Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to compare the training efficiency of heavy and light puck forehand shooting in groups with different skill levels with focus on short- hand shooting, long-hand shooting and wrist-shooting in midget male ice hockey players. Methods: Intervention experiment method was used to perform this work, in which two tested groups were compared by ANOVA analysis. The significance of change was determined by Cohen's d parameter. The two tested groups consisted of 16 midget male ice hockey players of SK Černošice ice hockey club. The study consists of three measurements of shot speed, shot accuracy and handgrip strength measured before and after the first six-week training cycle and at the end of second six-week training cycle. The shooting training was performed by long swing, short swing and wrist-shot technique using heavy-weight and light-weight pucks. These pucks were used in specific shooting training drills. Results: Skill-wise technically better equipped players (starting with heavy weight puck program) reported bigger improvement in long swing, short swing and wrist- shot shot speed and accuracy after heavy-weight puck training program than after light-weight...

Aim of the thesis The aim of this thesis is to show usage of analysis of basic and advanced statistics to evaluate the game performance in ice-hockey. Using this analysis can be more accurate because it is based on facts. This statement is compared with evaluation of the game performance by the experts that used direct observing method. The main aim of this thesis is to bring this idea to the Czech ice-hockey community which can be helpful to improve the club hockey in Czech Republic or improve Czech ice-hockey itself. Methods of thesis The method of analysis of statistical data to evaluate the game performance is used in this diploma thesis. Statistical data were acquired by indirect watching of video records of the games. This analysis is compared with method of direct observing of the game to evaluate the game performance which was used by experts. Conclusion By analyzing current situation in evaluating the game performance it was found out that many teams are still using method of direct observing to evaluate the game performance. In practical part of the thesis the experts after using method of direct observing of the game came up with different conclusions.
