Abstract:

There are several tasks in which humans require learning such as reading, writing, drawing etc. This paper gives an idea to make HOAP-2 (Humanoid Open Architecture Platform) robot capable of writing text of any particular language. It can also draw special symbol in a specific coordinate frame. For writing any alphabet the robot follows a trajectory defined in terms of intermediate points. Three types of interpolation: Straight, Clockwise and anticlockwise provides exact direction and smoothening to a particular pattern of the alphabet. On the basis of these interpolated results robot usable joint values are generated. The simulator utilises the updated robot joint values for writing the sentence. We have tested our method on Webots (a simulated framework for HOAP-2) in which the robot can write any sentence of English characters correct and precise.

Abstract:

Lekok water is one of the open waters. This will greatly affect the sedimentation process in Lekok water. The purpose of this study is to examine the distribution of bottom sediments in Lekok Water, Pasuruan Regency. The study was conducted in October-November 2019 using ekman grab at 9 site points. Sediment samples were obtained then analyzed in the laboratory to determine the grain size, as well as statistical calculations to analyze the distribution of the sediment. Based on the results of the study note that sediments distributed in Lekok Water are generally dominated by three types of sediments namely: sandy loam, loam and silt loam. Sorting values are in a well-sorted to the moderately well-sorted condition where the sediment conditions are well sorted. The skewness value is skewed positively where the value indicates a positive skewed sedimentary condition. The value of kurtosis is in the leptokurtic condition where the sediment from station 1 to station 9 is homogeneous.

DEVELOPMENT OF UNDER WATER LAMP AS A TOOL TO LIFT NET IN TAMBAK LEKOK VILLAGE PASURUAN Bagan is one type of fishing gear that uses light to collect fish. The lights are expected to stimulate the fish to come and stay around the light and than arrested with net. The use of light for fishing is growing rapidly, almost all fishing gear to use light as a tool for collecting fish. Application of this technology aims to increase fish catch fishermen in District Lekok through the application of technology underwater lamp with LED. Underwater lamp applied to the bagan tancap with a certain intensity and color to find the intensity of light and color that give the best catches. Best catches in the light of 450 lux is capable of delivering the highest total catch of 254 kg, it is supported by the values of illumination of 1.5 lux at a distance of 5 m. Types of fish that were caught on as much as 23 step chart types where the type of Stolephorus spp, Selaroides spp, Leiognathus spp, Loligo sp, Rastrelliger spp is a type of fish that always caught each fishing operation. Keywords: auxilary, development, lamp, Lekok, lift net ABSTRAK Bagan merupakan salah satu jenis alat tangkap yang menggunakan lampu sebagai alat bantu pengunpul ikan. Cahaya lampu diharapkan dapat merangsang ikan untuk datang dan berkumpul disekitar sumber cahaya sampai pada suatu catchable area tertentu, lalu penangkapan dilakukan dengan alat jaring maupun pancing. Penggunaan lampu untuk penangkapan ikan saat ini berkembang pesat, hampir semua alat tangkap menggunakan lampu sebagai alat bantu pengumpul ikan. Aplikasi teknologi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil tangkapan ikan nelayan bagan tancap di Kecamatan Lekok melalui penerapan teknologi lampu celup bawah air berbasis lampu LED. Lampu celup bawah air diterapkan pada bagan tancap dengan intensitas dan warna tertentu untuk mencari intensitas cahaya dan warna yang memberikan hasil tangkapan yang terbaik. Hasil tangkapan ikan yang terbanyak adalah pada lampu 450 lux yang mampu memberikan total tangkapan terbanyak 254 kg, hal ini didukung dengan nilai nilai illuminasi sebesar 1,5 lux pada jarak 5 m. Jenis ikan yang tertangkap pada bagan tancap sebanyak 23 jenis dimana jenis ikan teri (Stolephorus spp), ikan selar (Selaroides spp), ikan pepetek (Leiognathus spp ), cumi – cumi (Loligo sp), ikan kembung (Rastrelliger spp) merupakan jenis ikan yang selalu tertangkap disetiap operasi penangkapan. Keharusan publikasi ilmiah dari Pemerintah, dapat mendorong dosen untuk meningkatkan kualitas, kuantitas penelitian dan publikasi ilmiah. Sehubungan dengan hal ini, tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengeksplor kinerja dosen di bidang penelitian dan publikasi ilmiah. Informasi ini dapat digunakan oleh stakeholderuntuk melakukan pembinaan terhadap kinerja dosen. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dan untuk mengumpulkan data digunakan kuesioner yang memiliki validitas dan reliabilitas tinggi, dilengkapi dengan teknik observasi. Pada tahap awal, responden penelitian ini adalah 92 dosen Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta yang terdiri dari 22 Asisten ahli, 26 Lektor, 28 Lektor Kepala, dan 16 Profesor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa selama tiga tahun terakhir skor kinerja dosen dalam bidang penelitian dan publikasi ilmiah untuk semua kelompok jabatan mengalami peningkatan, tetapi ada perbedaan skor kinerja dosen dalam penelitian dan publikasi ilmiah bila dilihat dari jabatan dosen. Guru Besar menduduki ranking tertinggi, baik untuk skor kinerja dosen dalam penelitian maupun publikasi ilmiah diikuti oleh Lektor Kepala, Lektor, dan Asisten Ahli.Kata kunci: kinerja dosen, penelitian, publikasi ilmiah LECTURERS’ PERFORMANCE IN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND PUBLICATIONAbstractThe necessity of scientific publication insisted by the government can encourage lecturers to improve their scientific research and publication, both in quality and quantity. In connection with this fact, this research is aimed at exploring lecturers’ performance in terms of scientific research and publication. The information gained through the result of this study can be used by the stakeholder to develop the lecturers’ performance. This study is a survey research employing high-validity-and-reliability questionnaire to collect the data, completed with the employment of observation technique. At the initial stage, the respondents of the study were 92 lecturers of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta consisting of 22 instructors, 26 assistant professors, 28 associate professors, and 16 professors. The results of the study indicate that during the last three years, there is an increase on the total scientific research performance score and publication at every level of the functional position, but there is also a difference the scientific research performance score and publication seen from these functional positions. Professors are at the highest rank of the scientific research performance score and publication, followed by associate professors, assistant professors, and instructors.Keywords: lecturers’ performance, scientific research, scientific publication

Abstract Arrays of lumped-element kinetic inductance detectors (LEKIDs) optically coupled through an antenna-coupled transmission line are a promising candidate for future cosmic microwave background experiments. However, the dielectric materials used for the microstrip architecture are known to degrade the performance of superconducting resonators. In this paper, we investigate the feasibility of microstrip coupling to a LEKID, focusing on a systematic study of the effect of depositing amorphous silicon nitride on a LEKID. The discrete and spatially separated inductive and capacitive regions of the LEKID allow us to vary the degree of dielectric coverage and determine the limitations of the microstrip coupling architecture. We show that by careful removal of dielectric from regions of high electric field in the capacitor, there is minimal degradation in dielectric loss tangent of a partially covered lumped-element resonator. We present the effects on the resonant frequency and noise power spectral density and, using the dark responsivity, provide an estimate for the resulting detector sensitivity.

Abstract:

Sedimentation is one of the dynamics that occur in coastal areas to determine the condition of the coast. Lekok coastal water is one of the open water areas that have very fluctuating dynamics in coastal changes. The structural study of sediment distribution conducted in this location is used to provide information about the process of transportation and sedimentation based on the distribution of sediment grain size. This study aims to determine the horizontal grain sediment size in the Lekok coastal waters. This research was conducted at nine sampling points by sampling in the form of primary sediments randomly using the grab sampler method. Furthermore, further analysis is done by the gravimetric method. Based on the results of the study note that sediments characteristic in Lekok coastal water are generally dominated by three types of sediments, namely: sandy loam, loam, and silt loam. Abstract:

The population in this research is all of the permanent lecturers employed at University of Lambung Mangkurat (ULM). The respondents are taken from 4 academic ranks, which are represented by Asisten Ahli (Instructor), Lektor (Assistant Professor), Lektor Kepala (Associate Professor), and Guru Besar (Professor). One hundred and thirty samples were collected by using a proportional-stratified random sampling method. A Partial Least Square (PLS) method was used to analyze the data. The results showed that lecturers with a positive perception of the organizational support available to them feel more satisfied with their job, which in turn encourages the creation of a high organizational commitment and results in the emergence of positive organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). These study’s results showed us the application of social exchange theory and organizational support theory in a higher educational institution. The findings of this study are considered to be important, as they provide additional empirical evidence regarding the importance of organizational support as a basis for improving the ULM lecturers' job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and OCB. The implications and further research are also discussed.

Abstract:

In carrying out mass explosions in quarries, a considerable amount of dust and gases is emitted into the atmosphere, more than in other technological processes of mining. The dusty cloud formed during the explosion pollutes the atmosphere not only of quarries and their industrial sites, but also the territory adjacent to them. However, the known methods and measures to reduce dust and gas emissions into the atmosphere during mass explosions have not solved this problem yet. In addition, the implementation of most methods involves certain financial costs. Therefore, the development of new ways to moisten career blocks with solutions of modern reagents produced in Ukraine is necessary and relevant. Considering the increase in the depth of quarries and, as a consequence, the extension of the length of quarry roads, the authors proved that these factors lead to an increase in the amount of dust formation from the road surface. In this regard, the solution of the problem of reducing the dust generation on the quarry roads is an important and relevant. This work is devoted to an experimental study of the determination of the effectiveness of the use of an aqueous solution of the surfactant "Leksol" to reduce dust emission during mass explosions and dust binding on the quarry roads. The problem is solved by means of industrial research to determine the effectiveness of reducing dust formation during mass explosions by pre-wetting quarry blocks with aqueous surfactant "Leksol" and binding dust on quarry roads during their watering with proposed aqueous reagent solution. The studies have confirmed the process of binding with surfactant "Leksol" of fine dust particles remaining on the surface of the quarry block after drilling on the surface thereof, and are actively involved in the overall process of formation of dust and gas cloud. At the concentration of the aqueous solution of the anti-dust reagent "Lexol-5" 5%, the average efficiency of dust suppression was 21%.

Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh Dosen pada Perguruan Tinggi Swasta (PTS) yang ada di Medan dosen yang memiliki fungsional. Dalam penelitian ini hanya dibatasi pada dosen Dosen yang memiliki jabatan fungsional Asisten Ahli, Lektor dan Lektor Kepala yang berdomisili di Medan. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah dengan Model Persamaan Struktural. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap organizational citizenship behavior, motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja dosen, iklim organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap organizational citizenship behavior, iklim organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja dosen dan organizational citizenship behavior berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja Dosen Perguruan Tinggi Swasta di Medan. Serta motivasi kerja dan iklim organisasi berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Dosen melalui variabel Organizational Citizenship Behaviour. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini, mendorong pihak Manajemen Perguruan Tinggi Swasta di Medan harus dapat membangun iklim organisasi yang baik dengan menjalin hubungan yang harmonis antara dosen dengan pemimpin maupun dosen dengan dosen lainnya dan pihak Manajemen Perguruan Tinggi dapat meningkatkan motivasi dosen dengan memberikan fasilitas yang nyaman, agar para dosen dalam menjalankan aktivitasnya berjalan dengan baik dan nantinya akan meningkatkan kinerja dosen.

Abstract:

The article presents a thorough interpretation of a seal stamp, found during the archaeological excavations at the northern side of the Sacred Mary Church in the Poznań Cathedral Island (Ostrów Tumski). The stamp is dated to the period between the end of the 13th and the first half of the 14th century. This chronology is based upon its form and elements of its decoration. A legend inscribed on the stamp’s frame, informing that its belonged to James - a lector of the preacher order, made possible to identify a social status of the owner along with his position in the Dominican structure. Unfortunately, neither connection between James and any concrete order nor whereabouts of his stay at Ostrów Tumski were recognized. These questions might be answered only after more detailed studies of the Dominican related archives are carried out.

Adam Small het op 21 Desember 2011 sy vyf-en-sewentigste verjaardag gevier. Ter afwagting van hierdie geleentheid het die Departement Afrikaans en Nederlands aan die Universiteit van Wes-Kaapland (UWK) in samewerking met Tydskrif vir Letterkunde ’n simposium met die titel “Adam Small: sy lewe en werk” op Vrydag, 7 Oktober 2011 aangebied. In die loop van sy lewe as ’n skrywer en akademikus was Small aan beide die UWK en Tydskrif vir Letterkunde verbonde. Die universiteit is in 1960 te midde van groot politieke omstredenheid opgerig en Small was aanvanklik die enigste swart lektor. In 1973 bedank hy sy pos as senior lektor in Wysbegeerte in simpatie met studente-eise vir ’n aanneemliker onderrigbedeling op die UWK-kampus. In 1984 keer hy terug as professor en hoof van die Departement Maatskaplike Werk. Twaalf jaar later tree hy uit die diens. Sy verbondenheid aan Tydskrif vir Letterkunde in die vroeë 1960s was van korte duur. Saam met ’n aantal jonger Afrikaanse skrywers wat later as die Sestigers bekend sou staan, was hy deel van ’n nuwe redaksie wat ’n vars benadering in die oudste Afrikaanse literêre tydskrif wou blaas. Persoonlikheidsgeskille met die ouer garde van Tydskrif het egter daarvoor gesorg dat die voorgenome samewerking slegs een uitgawe sou duur. Met hierdie historiese verbintenisse is dit gepas dat die Small-simposium op die kampus van die UWK plaasgevind het en dat die voordragte in Tydskrif vir Letterkunde gepubliseer word.

Abstract:

Aims. Lumped-element kinetic inductance detectors (LEKIDs) are an attractive technology for millimeter-wave observations that require large arrays of extremely low-noise detectors. We designed, fabricated and characterized 64-element (128 LEKID) arrays of horn-coupled, dual-polarization LEKIDs optimized for ground-based CMB polarimetry. Our devices are sensitive to two orthogonal polarizations in a single spectral band centered on 150 GHz with Δν∕ν = 0.2. The 65 × 65 mm square arrays are designed to be tiled into the focal plane of an optical system. We demonstrate the viability of these dual-polarization LEKIDs with laboratory measurements. Methods. The LEKID modules are tested with an FPGA-based readout system in a sub-kelvin cryostat that uses a two-stage adiabatic demagnetization refrigerator. The devices are characterized using a blackbody and a millimeter-wave source. The polarization properties are measured with a cryogenic stepped half-wave plate. We measure the resonator parameters and the detector sensitivity, noise spectrum, dynamic range, and polarization response. Results. The resonators have internal quality factors approaching 1 × 106. The detectors have uniform response between orthogonal polarizations and a large dynamic range. The detectors are photon-noise limited above 1 pW of absorbed power. The noise-equivalent temperatures under a 3.4 K blackbody load are <100 μK √s. The polarization fractions of detectors sensitive to orthogonal polarizations are >80%. The entire array is multiplexed on a single readout line, demonstrating a multiplexing factor of 128. The array and readout meet the requirements for 4 arrays to be read out simultaneously for a multiplexing factor of 512. Conclusions. This laboratory study demonstrates the first dual-polarization LEKID array optimized specifically for CMB polarimetry and shows the readiness of the detectors for on-sky observations.

Tujuan kegiatan yang kami lakukan adalah memberi edukasi dan pengembangan diri kepada peserta didik khususnya di sekolah MA NU Lekok dan memberikan bantuan alat panel surya untuk 10 titik penerangan jalan di Dusun Semongkrong Barat-Tengah. Setelah diadakannya pembinaan dan pelatihan berkala, diharapkan peserta didik dan masyarakat dusun sudah memiliki kompetensi untuk mengembangkan panel surya secara mandiri dan dapat diproduksi secara massal/ diperbanyak. Adanya alternatif panel surya yang kami kembangkan melalui penelitian berkelanjutan ini, dengan daya kecil dan mampu menghasilkan listrik hingga 100 Watt (untuk kapasitas penerangan/lampu jalan) dapat beroperasi dengan baik dan layak untuk digunakan. Melalui kebermanfaatan alat kami, khususnya di area akses jalan Dusun Semongkrong dapat meminimalisir terjadinya tindak kejahatan yang merajalela. Kedepan dan untuk kelanjutan secara teknis, kami akan mengontrol alat dengan 2-3 kali frekuensi kunjungan per bulan untuk memastikan alat panel surya tetap dalam kondisi baik.

We report the design, fabrication, and testing of lumped element kinetic inductance detectors (LEKID) showing performance in line with the requirements of the next generation space telescopes operating in the spectral range from 80 GHz to 600 GHz. This range is of particular interest for cosmic microwave background studies. For this purpose we designed and fabricated 100 pixel arrays covering five distinct bands. These wafers were measured via multiplexing, in which a full array is read out using a single pair of lines. We adopted a custom cold black body installed in front of the detectors and regulated at temperatures between 1 K and 20 K. In this paper, we describe in the main design considerations, fabrication processes, testing and data analysis.

Introduction. Early marriage is the beginning of the health problems of women, children and the control population. Marriage is too young the age at first marriage under 18 years of age in sub Lekok Pasuruan strongly influenced by cultural factors madura. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of early marriage on the quality of growth and development of children in the District Lekok Pasuruan. Methods. The method used a retrospective cohort study. The study population was women who married young age (<18 years) and children under five. Samples were taken by using random sampling. Data were collected and analyzed using Chi Square test. Result. The results showed that 85% of teens got married early, the child’s growth by weight / height 52% of normal and 77% normal child development. Based on Chi Square test was an early marriage to the child’s growth and development of children and the obtained value of p = 0.000. Discussion. Streszczenie Mukowiscydoza jest chorobą uwarunkowaną genetycznie spowodowaną nieprawidłowym działaniem transbłonowego regulatora mukowiscydozy. Choroba ta manifestuje się przede wszystkim w układzie oddechowym oraz pokarmowym. W przebiegu mukowiscydozy obserwuje się także zmiany w układzie kostno- stawowym, takie jak występowanie obniżonej gęstości kości, a w konsekwencji osteopenii i osteoporozy. Najczęściej wykorzystywanym badaniem diagnostycznym osteoporozy jest densytometria wykonywana średnio co 2 do 5 lat. Inne badania to oznaczenie poziomu witamin D i K, wapnia oraz markerow obrotu kostnego. W leczeniu osteoporozy wykorzystuje się farmakoterapię i fizjoterapię. Leczenie farmakologiczne to przede wszystkim suplementacja witaminami D i K oraz wapniem jak rownież stosowanie bifosfonianow, parathormonu lub terapia hormonem wzrostu. Farmakoterapia osteoporozy jest trudna ze względu na wzajemną interakcję lekow oraz niekorzystny wpływ niektorych lekow stosowanych w leczeniu mukowiscydozy np. steroidow na gęstość kości. Stosując leczenie farmakologiczne nie możemy zaniedbywać istotnego terapeutycznego działania jakim jest fizjoterapia. Terapia drog oddechowych, ćwiczenia ogolnousprawniające i zwiększona aktywność fizyczna w codziennym życiu są zasadniczymi elementami kompleksowego postępowania leczniczego. Wpływają na długotrwałą poprawę wynikow leczenia oraz na wydłużenie i jakość życia pacjentow. Konsekwencje mukowiscydozy, takie jak bole mięśniowo-szkieletowe, wady postawy czy cukrzyca wymagają wdrożenia odpowiedniej strategii postępowania fizjoterapeutycznego.

Indonesia is an archipelago country, catching fish is one of the sectors that is highly evolved in Indonesia. One of the waters in Indonesia which has great fishery potential is Pasuruan Regency in East Java. Lift net is a fishing tool that is still widely used by small-scale fishermen in Indonesia, formed rectangular which was operable in coastal waters at night by using light fishing. The purposes of this article are to investigate how to operate a lift net and to explore deeper about the management of lift net operation in Lekok Waters, Pasuruan Regency. Data collection was done by using observation, interview, active participation and documentation. This research discuss about boat and the equipment, catcher tool components, location, length time of trip, procedures of fishing, types of fish, tools maintenance and business management. Based on the analysis of Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C Ratio) proved R/C ratio is > 1, then the effort of catching fish by using lift net in Lekok Pasuruan is profitable. The value of BEP in units of the unit catchment is 1,278 kg, and the values BEP in-unit rupiah is Rp.9,064,516.

We present a highly frequency multiplexed readout for large-format superconducting detector arrays intended for use in the next generation of balloon-borne and space-based sub-millimeter and far-infrared missions. We will demonstrate this technology on the upcoming NASA Next Generation Balloon-borne Large Aperture Sub-millimeter Telescope (BLAST-TNG) to measure the polarized emission of Galactic dust at wavelengths of 250, 350 and 500 microns. The BLAST-TNG receiver incorporates the first arrays of Lumped Element Kinetic Inductance Detectors (LeKID) along with the first microwave multiplexing readout electronics to fly in a space-like environment and will significantly advance the TRL for these technologies. After the flight of BLAST-TNG, we will continue to improve the performance of the detectors and readout electronics for the next generation of balloon-borne instruments and for use in a future FIR Surveyor.

The study of warfare in the ancient Pueblos of the U.S. Southwest has become politicized and contentious, and southwestern data are only rarely used to address larger anthropological theories of war. A cross-cultural model of violence proposed by Carol and Melvin Ember (1992) suggests that war in pre-state societies is predicted by resource unpredictability and socialization for fear. The Ember and Ember model is evaluated using syntheses of southwestern warfare by Steven LeBlanc (1999), environmental variability by Jeffrey Dean (1988, 1996), and political history by Stephen Lekson (1999). The fit between the southwestern data and the model is close, and supports the Ember and Ember model.

Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pengelolaan keuangan dana desa pada desa Tanjung Bali Kecamatan Batanghari Leko pada tahun 2015 sampai dengan tahun 2017 sudah menjalankan siklus keuangan desa dengan baik mulai dari penyusunan rencana anggaran hingga pada siklus pertanggungjawaban anggaran dana desa. sehingga dapat dikategorikan efektif hanya saja pengaruhnya adalah Penundaan terhadap pencairan dana desa pada tahun berikutnya.

Abstract:

Kabupaten Blitar merupakan salah satu daerah yang rawan terjadi kekeringan, salah satunya yaitu DAS Lekso. Kekeringan yang terjadi di Kabupaten Blitar disebabkan oleh minimnya intensitas curah hujan yang turun, maka dari itu dibutuhkan upaya awal untuk memitigasi kekeringan meteorologi dengan cara memantau dan menganalisis kekeringan yang terjadi pada lokasi studi. Metode yang digunakan dalam menganalisis kekeringan yaitu metode Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI)) dan metode China Z Index (CZI) yang kemudian dibandingkan dengan data Southern Oscillation Index (SOI). Hasil indeks kekeringan kedua metode yang telah dikomparasi dengan data SOI akan digunakan sebagai penggambaran peta sebaran kekeringan menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) dengan interpolasi Kriging. Pada hasil analisa perbandingan indeks kekeringan dengan data SOI bulanan didapatkan hasil persentase pendekatan metode CZI sebesar 57.45% dan metode SPI sebesar 42.55%. Pada perbandingan indeks kekeringan dengan SOI rerata tahunan didapatkan persentase metode CZI sebesar 63% dan metode SPI sebesar 60%. Pada hasil analisa korelasi indeks kekeringan yang dikomparasi dengan data hujan didapatkan nilai korelasi metode CZI memiliki tingkat hubungan korelasi mendekati positif sempurna dan metode SPI memiliki korelasi yang cukup. Sehingga metode CZI dipilih sebagai penggambaran peta sebaran kekeringan menggunakan interpolasi kriging yang kemudian didapatkan desa-desa yang terdampak kekeringan di Kabupaten Blitar khusunya di DAS Lekso.
