Since its foundation in 1072 Durham Castle has served as a fortress, palace of the prince bishops of Durham and, from 1837, as a college of the University of Durham. Durham Castle was the bishops’ home and a symbol of their secular authority, whilst its proximity to the bishops’ ecclesiastical centre, Durham Cathedral, established spiritual and ceremonial roles for the castle. This paper will examine the major alterations made to Durham Castle by Bishop Cuthbert Tunstall (bishop from 1530–59), including a new first-floor gallery, stair turret and chapel. A hitherto un-noted gunloop in the stair tower suggests that the turbulent political and religious events of his bishopric, particularly the Pilgrimage of Grace in 1536, caused Tunstall to provide some defensive capability within what has previously been considered a purely domestic building programme. Analysis of the documented progress of building also dates the visit to Durham of the antiquarian John Leland to 1543, not 1538 as stated in the Victoria County History.

The conclusions are as follows: The act of creditor in determining the price of the auction limit below the value of the liability has fulfilled the whole element of article 1365 of the Civil Code so The legal consequence of auction object sales is that the auction price is below the value of the hold and if the object of the right of sale is sold under the value of the mortgage, the auction can be requested by the court. The creditor is liable for the price of the auction limit below the value of the creditor because the creditor as the seller does have the right to set the auction limit price but still must pay attention to the appropriateness of the specified auction limit price and the Auction Officer is not liable for the auction limit price below the hold value because the Auction Guidelines state that the auction limit price is not the responsibility of the KPKNL or the Class II Auction Officer

The purpose of this study is to reveal the determination process and the meaning of prices implemented through the milkfish auction tradition in Gresik. This research is qualitative using an ethnographic approach, data collected through interviews and participant observation. The results showed that the price determination process used the Rohmatan Lil ‘Alamin principle. The researcher found three meanings of the first price, self-esteem; second, the form of reward; third, the form of obedience to the Creator. Prices are not always matched with material or nominal. Price has a different meaning through the perspective of the Gresik’s.

<p>Currently, auction can be done through internet media a.k.a. e-auction. E-auction sells the goods by offering written prices without the presence of participants conducted through an internet-based auction application. This internet-based auction is similar with conventional one. The difference is in case of face-to-face which will affect the originality of Auction Treatise. Treatise is the official report of auction issued by Auction Officer. This paper aims at analyzing the validity of treatise as an authentic document in e-auction. This is a normative juridical writing by analyzing the validity of e-auction treatise reviewed with legislation related to internet-based auction. The results indicate that the treatise in e-auction is authentic since it follows the principles written in Article 1868 of the Civil Code. However, in PMK Number 90/PMK.06/2016 and Vendu Reglement concerning the recitation of the chief of Auction Treatise can be done using Lex Specialis Derogat Legi Generalis principles. The e-auction treatise also has valid proof as long as there is no lawsuit filing.</p><p>Saat ini, lelang dapat dilakukan melalui media internet atau e-auction. E-auction adalah penjualan barang dengan penawaran harga secara tertulis tanpa kehadiran peserta lelang yang dilakukan melalui aplikasi lelang berbasis internet. Lelang berbasis internet ini sama seperti pelaksanaan lelang konvensional. Perbedaanya terletak dalam hal tatap muka yang nantinya akan berpengaruh terhadap keotentikan Risalah Lelang. Risalah Lelang adalah berita acara<br />pelaksanaan lelang yang dibuat oleh Pejabat Lelang. Makalah ini mеngаnаlіsis kеаbsаhаn аktа Rіsаlаh Lеlаng sеbаgаі аktа оtеntіk dаlаm pеlаksаnааn lеlаng еlеktrоnіk. Penulisan ini adalah yuridis normatif dengan menganalisis keabsahan Risalah Lelnag elektronik yang dikaji dengan peraturan perundang-undangan yang berkaitan dengan lelang melalui internet. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Risalah Lelang dalam lelang internet merupakan akta otentik karena telah memenuhi unsur-unsur dalam Pasal 1868 KUH Perdata. Namun dalam PMK Nomor 90/PMK.06/2016 dan Vendu Reglement tentang pembacaan Kepala Risalah Lelang tersebut dapat terselesaikan dengan asas Lex Specialis Derogat Legi Generalis. Risalah Lelang dalam lelang melalui media internet juga memiliki kekuatan pembuktian sempurna sepanjang tidak ada yang melakukan gugatan.</p>

Rubber auction cooperatives are cooperatives whose main function is to auction rubber agricultural products for these member communities. Currently, among the problems that exist in the auction process, namely: first, auction entrants must come to the auction site even if only to bid a price. Second, the auction administration process has redundant of entrant data due to having to fill out a form every time they participate in the auction. From these two problems, this research will conduct application development as an auction medium for related parties. The application developed is a mobile-based application so that it can be accessed easily by all parties. The method used in the development process is the adaptive software-development method with three major stages of speculation, collaboration, and learning which was tested using black box testing. The Research Results are an application with the main feature of conducting the auction process from the cooperative's side, and auction participants can bid prices through the application. The application developed also functions properly in accordance with existing features as evidenced by the results of application testing using the black box technique so that it can help the rubber auction process for related parties.

The government has stipulated Trade Minister Regulation Number 16/M-DAG/PER/3/2017 regarding Refined Sugar Trade in Commodity Auction Market. However, the method of determining the highest and the lowest sugar price has not been arranged in the regulation. Thus, this study aims to analyze the price range of Refined Sugar in Commodity Auction Market. Import parity approach of raw sugar is utilized to calculate auction price range. The cost components are highest and lowest raw sugar price in international market as well as tolling fee for production and distribution of refined sugar. The result indicates that the estimated lowest price is between IDR 7,869/Kg and IDR 8,176/Kg and the estimated highest price is between IDR 11,527/Kg and IDR 11,742/Kg. This study recommends that import parity approach of raw sugar can be used to determine the price range of refined sugar. However, technical guidance for seller/buyer with existing sales contracts, technical team consisting representative of stakeholders to anticipate the fluctuating price issue, and the certainty of import quota for raw sugar as supply guarantee of refined sugar in action market are needed to be considered in order to support the regulation.

Pemerintah menerbitkan Peraturan Menteri Perdagangan Nomor 16/M-DAG/PER/3/2017 Tentang Perdagangan Gula Kristal Rafinasi (GKR) Melalui Pasar Lelang Komoditas (PLK). Dalam regulasi dimaksud, terdapat 1 (satu) aspek dalam mekanisme lelang yang belum dicapai kesepakatan, yaitu metode penentuan Harga Batas Bawah (HBB) dan Harga Batas Atas (HBA) penjualan GKR. Untuk menganalisis besaran rentang harga lelang GKR, digunakan pendekatan paritas impor GKM dengan komponen harga GKM tertinggi dan terendah, serta biaya tolling terkait produksi dan distribusi GKR. Besaran HBB diperkirakan berada pada kisaran Rp 7.869/Kg dan Rp 8.176/Kg dan HBA sebesar Rp 11.527/Kg dan Rp 11.742/Kg. Sebagai perangkat kebijakan, pendekatan paritas impor GKM dapat digunakan untuk menentukan rentang harga GKR. Namun demikian diperlukan beberapa pertimbangan antara lain petunjuk teknis bagi peserta lelang yang sudah memiliki kontrak penjualan, dukungan tim teknis yang terdiri dari perwakilan pemangku kepentingan untuk mengantisipasi dinamika harga GKM, serta kepastian kuota impor GKM dalam menjamin supply GKR di PLK.

Abstrak
Pemerintah berupaya menjaga stabilitas harga bahan pangan pokok melalui berbagai kebijakan penetapan harga. Salah satunya adalah kebijakan penetapan Harga Acuan Pembelian (HAP) pada komoditas gula. Dalam implementasinya, penerapan HAP Gula di tingkat eceran dinilai berdampak pada penurunan harga gula di tingkat petani/produsen. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan HAP Gula terhadap harga lelang gula petani dan stabilitas harga gula, dan merumuskan rekomendasi kebijakan HAP Gula yang efektif. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisis ekonometrik melalui Error Correction Model (ECM), hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan HET berpengaruh terhadap harga lelang gula petani dalam jangka pendek. Dalam jangka panjang, harga lelang gula petani lebih ditentukan oleh harga gula impor, stok gula nasional, dan harga lelang gula pada periode sebelumnya. Kebijakan yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap harga lelang gula yaitu penerapan PPN Gula. Kajian ini merekomendasikan bahwa penetapan kebijakan HAP pada komoditi gula dapat terus dilakukan dalam rangka stabilisasi harga dengan melakukan evaluasi secara berkala. Pemerintah dapat mempertahankan HAP gula sebesar Rp 12.500/kg yang didukung oleh beberapa hal yaitu: menangguhkan penerapan PPN gula petani; mengawasi keberadaan satgas pangan; menerapkan pengawasan pasar gula yang memberikan kepastian pada petani, pabrik gula, dan konsumen.

Abstract
The Government strives to keep price stability of staple food through price policy, the so-called “Harga Acuan Pembelian (HAP) for sugar”. During its implementation, the policy has given negative impact on farm gate price. This study aims to analyze the effect of HAP for sugar to farm gate price which is reflected in auction price as well as its impact to price stabilization, and formulate effective policy recommendations on HAP for sugar. Using Error Correction Model (ECM), the study shown that HAP for sugar significantly impacted the auction price yet in the short term. While for the long term, the auction price of sugar was more affected by import sugar price, national sugar stock, and sugar auction price in previous period. Moreover, the implementation of value added tax (VAT) on sugar affected significantly to the auction price. The study recommended the HAP for sugar can be consistently implemented with periodic evaluation. Accordingly, the Government can maintain the prevailing HAP at Rp 12.500/kg which has to be supported by forgoing the VAT policy on sugar; monitoring the role of task force; and strongly supervising the domestic sugar market that is favourable to farmers, sugar millers, and consumers.

To solve this equation used numerical methods based on an upwind finite difference for spatial discretization as well as the use of explicit and implicit methods for discretizing time-stepping. upwind finite difference method with explicit time-stepping scheme proved to be unstable so as not konvegen. While the use of implicit time-stepping scheme is proved monotonous, consistent and stable so that converge to the viscosity solution.

Auction activities can be considered as a new form of marketing communication. Auction is an online shopping activity where the price is determined by the buyer within the duration that has been determined by the seller and the buyer is entitled to get the item based on the highest offered price. This study discusses the phenomenon of auction activities in the digital communication industry. The method used is a case study with a qualitative approach and uses interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of this study can be seen that the auction activities that use Instagram social media use the Instagram Comments feature. The process of this activity begins with publication through an Instagram account which was originally created as a private collection gallery but eventually became a place to sell, promote through flash sales, and hold regular giveaway. These three things have a considerable influence on the continuity of the auction activities because to gather Hot Wheels collectors to participate in the auction activities which will later become potential buyers. Publications and promotions are usually done routinely for a week to attract the attention of followers.Kegiatan lelang dapat dianggap sebagai bentuk komunikasi pemasaran yang baru. Lelang merupakan aktivitas belanja online dimana harga ditentukan oleh pembeli dalam durasi yang telah ditentukan oleh penjual dan pembeli yang berhak mendapatkan barang berdasarkan dari tawaran harga tertinggi yang dberikan. Penelitian ini membahas tentang fenomena kegiatan lelang dalam industri komunikasi digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa kegiatan lelang yang menggunakan media sosial Instagram ini memanfaatkan fitur Instagram Comments. Proses kegiatan ini diawali dengan melakukan publikasi melalui akun Instagram yang awalnya dibuat sebagai galeri koleksi pribadi namun akhirnya menjadi tempat untuk berjualan, promosi melalui flash sale, dan mengadakan giveaway secara rutin. Ketiga hal ini memberikan pengaruh yang cukup besar dalam keberlangsungan kegiatan lelang karena untuk mengumpulkan para kolektor Hot Wheels untuk mengikuti kegiatan lelang yang nantinya akan menjadi calon pembeli. Publikasi dan promosi ini biasa dilakukan secara rutin selama seminggu untuk menarik perhatian followers.

My stoneware sculptures in my MFA final project were named Earth Divers because clay as a material is earth and clay is also symbolic of the Earth. The way that I physically dive into clay up to my elbows is a poetic performance. The sculptures were built in sections horizontally and then stacked vertically. I began the process by first making life size plaster molds of the human figure taken from live people. Earth Divers take their architectural structure specifically from the organic curves of the negative voids that are characteristic of the plaster figure molds. I built into these plaster molds a block or brick like section. I then removed the large block sections from the molds and stacked the sections one on top of the other combining the figurative and architectural structures with gothic influence. The sculptor, Stephen De Staebler, who works in a similar fashion, describes his work as, "... first laying the figure down and later standing it in a vertical position." The way of life that was lost with the manufacturing past of my family at Castone Brick is found in the use of industrial nostalgia by modeling I-beam shapes as part of the structure of the stacked sections. I also fired nuts, bolts, and washers of various sizes in the clay that build the surface of the human forms. The square nut seen in my work is no longer being manufactured and is symbolic of the passing of the industrial age in America. Finally, to build the surfaces of my sculptures I used slips, glazes, and a variety of clays on top of clay, and laid glass fragments on the horizontal surfaces to create a look of pooled water when my work was fired similar to what I have seen in the Lehman Caves in Baker, Nevada. Chapter 8 opens with two events which took place in the summer of 1568: the commission to Archbishop Matthew Parker to identify and record manuscripts dispersed from monastic libraries, especially books with a bearing on English history, and the publication of William Lambarde’s APXAIONOMIA, his edition of Old English law, much of it in parallel text, Old English and Latin. The chapter then reverts to the dissolution itself, and who can be shown to have saved which particular books. It pays particular attention to the activities of John Leland, John Bale, and certain bibliophilic royal commissioners, most notably Sir John Prise. Although initial official interest in English history concentrated on the period of the conversion and before, collectors saved the great works of the twelfth century, and it was these that Prise envisaged in his will should be edited and printed. The chapter then considers the circle around Parker, most particularly John Joscelyn, and the use they made of the medieval English histories in their polemical works on ecclesiastical history. Parker’s editions of Matthew Paris were the first works of medieval English historiography to be printed, probably on account of Matthew’s anti-papal instincts. In counterpoint with all this concern for the sources, the chapter also addresses the Italian Polydore Vergil’s recently published and influential attempt to write up English medieval history, for the period in question largely on the basis of the great histories of the early twelfth century.
