The purpose of this study was to explore stuttering behaviour associated with word-type and word-frequency in a large group of adults who stutter (AWS). This pilot study addresses the distribution of nonstandard syntactic and lexical features in Indian English (IE) across a homogeneous group of highly educated IE speakers. The central theme of the thesis is an in-depth translation criticism of the Austrian novel Die Liebhaberinnen by Elfriede Jelinek in the translation of Jitka Jílková. The criticism is based on the theoretical model of Katharina Reiss which is explored in her work Möglichkeiten und Grenzen der Übersetzungskritik. This model is expanded by the role of the editor and translationese style. У магістерській роботі проаналізовано основні проблеми та особливості перекладу англійських економічних термінів українською мовою. Ґрунтовно проаналізовано основні прийоми перекладу. Розглянуто лексичні та граматичні явища, що спричиняють труднощі перекладу англійської економічної термінології.<br>The master’s thesis analyses the main problems and features of translating English economic terms into Ukrainian. The main translation techniques are thoroughly analysed. Lexical and grammatical phenomena that cause difficulties in translating English economic terminology are considered.
