<em>This paper investigates the relationship between life skills and self-efficacy among adolescents, examining potential gender differences. The study was carried out in four different senior secondary schools of Amritsar City for 150 adolescents studying in class XII. The study was performed based on Self-Efficacy and Life Skills scale using a survey method. The findings reveal a linear relationship between life skills and self-efficacy, with no significant gender differences in self-efficacy. Concepts from social cognitive theory (Bandura, 1986) and attachment theory (Bowlby, 1973) were integrated to provide a framework for the current study. A conceptual model was proposed and tested to answer the research question: does relationship efficacy and career decision self efficacy fully or partially mediate the relationship between attachment and life satisfaction? The onset of a stroke can cause limitations in all areas of activities and participation. Self-efficacy, a situation-specific form of self-confidence, is a predictor of functional performance post stroke. Self-efficacy is the perception one has about his or her abilities to execute a given task or behaviour successfully (Bandura 1997). Thus self-efficacy plays a crucial role in shaping an individual's expectations for future achievements and influences the planning and execution of actions required to reach their goals.
