Abstract:
This PhD thesis is based on six articles and proposes new approaches for modelling of the life of cutting tools and for determining the optimal tool replacement time. These issues are very closely related and play a critical role in machining economics. Replacing a tool too early means wasting of its potential and leads to high costs and reduced productivity. Late replacement poses a risk of wear-out and other types of tool failures, which can damage the component being produced and can cause expensive equipment downtimes. Therefore a lot of work has been done to develop models for predicting

If these factors can be controlled, then great contributions will be made to improving processing quality, raising cutting efficiency and reducing the cost. This research puts forward the cutting factors of the geometric structure of the band saw cutter, simulates and improves the processing characteristics during the cutting process, discusses the impact of different cutting types on sawi

There has been a move in recent years to improve the fuel efficiency of engine due to high oil prices, which are being developed with high-pressure and high-temperature engine designs where the amount of nickel-base superalloys, which are more heat-resistant, have gradually increased to more than 50%.
104
As the consumer trends and the change of processing in recent years, production orientation of machining process has evolved from mass production to high quality, small-scale production; therefore, quality control and predict is becoming increasingly important. Various prediction methods such as tradition statistical forecasting, simulation modeling, regression analysis and soft computing, have been proposed to construct prediction systems in these years, and some studies even added contact force sensor, acoustic emission sensor and accelerometers to assist d
