Abstract:
- In this paper I explore the consistency of an idea of language structures as both universal in their nature and empirical in their genesis. To this aim, I assume the theory of the parts of speech as a case study. I proceed from a brief historical reconstruction of 20th-century theories of grammatical categories to an analysis of the semantics of the parts of speech, with particular emphasis on Ronald Langacker's philosophy of grammar. Finally I focus on the theory of prepositions in order to explore the relations between language and perception and the function of perceptual schemas at the basis of linguistic categories. Keywords: Linguistic universals, Parts of speech, Perceptual schemas, Cognitive linguistics, Prepositions, Philosophy of grammar.Parole chiave: Universali linguistici, Parti del discorso, Schemi percettivi, Linguistica cognitiva, Preposizioni, Filosofia della grammatica.

Abstract:
The article focuses on contemporary trends in contrastive studies. As a point of departure the nature, history and evolution of contrastive linguistics are examined. Contrastive linguistics is viewed in relation to other disciplines such as comparative linguistics, comparative historical linguistics, linguistic typology, theory of translation, and foreign language teaching. Any aspect of language may be covered in cross-linguistic studies which involve a systematic comparison of two or more languages both at micro-linguistic and macro-linguistic level. The current trends are identified in terms of macro-linguistic widening of contrastive analysis which is applied in studies of specialized discourses such as media, political and academic communication. The findings are based on a small-scale research of contrastive studies published in Contrastive Linguistics, the oldest international journal for contrastive linguistics. By conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis and employing a diachronic approach conclusions are drawn about the need for the contrastive approach at macro-level, the type of linguistic phenomena studied and the preferred methods of contrastive analysis within a period of forty-six years. The findings show that there is only a slight increase in macro-linguistic analyses in recent years, but contrastive analysis remains a vibrant area of research with a potential for development at discourse level in particular and implications for intercultural understanding and tolerance.

Abstract:
A linguistic analysis of literature has caused debates among linguists and between linguists and literary critics. The debate among linguists occurs because they have different opinions regarding the nature of literary language, while the debate between linguists and literary scholars arises as literary scholars question the authority of linguistics to study literary writings. Therefore, in this paper I argue that the language of literature is similar to that of non-literary texts, and I also believe that because the centrality of language in literary writings, linguistics, as the study of language, has the authority to study literature. One linguistic approach to literature is stylistics, which studies the forms, functions, and meanings of literary language in a detailed and systematic way. Abstract:
Words are usually used in their direct meaning, but often the information provided is hidden. Manipulation is used in almost all spheres of human activity — in politics, advertising, jurisprudence, literature, psychotherapy, training, informal communication, etc., that makes it relevant for researchers. The article deals with the main points of view on linguistic manipulation as a complex psycholinguistic process and a kind of linguistic influence by the method of analysis, synthesis and generalization of scientific researches of native and foreign specialists in linguistics, psychology, rhetoric, neurolinguistic programming and discourse theory. Although the manipulative capacity of language is increasingly becoming the object of various linguistic studies, the main complexities of studying the phenomenon of speech influence remain. They are due to the interdisciplinary nature of the subject matter, the confusion of different modes of influence in language practices, and the lack of a generally accepted classification of means and methods of manipulation in linguistics. The main features of manipulation are: the hidden nature of the influence; the desire to subordinate the addressee of his will, change his views, perceptions, etc.; mastery of language and psychological skills; special linguistic organization of the text that contributes to errors in the interlocutor’s mind; lack of a defensive response from the addressee and the creation of the illusion of decision-making independence. Taken together, all these features distinguish linguistic manipulation from other forms of influence (rhetorically organized language, linguistic demagogy, propaganda, and neurolinguistic programming).

Abstract:
Linguistic competence has had a significant influence on English language teaching. Linguistic competence is largely concerned with a notion shared by language teachers and learners when using language knowledge in real performance. English teachers are expected to have this competency. The present study aimed to examine linguistic competence in morphology teaching, which was demonstrated by an English teacher. The morphology teaching was sourced from a series of YouTube videos which were broadcast by a teacher on a Youtube channel. This study was carried out by analyzing the linguistic competence of the teacher in each video by analogizing the teacher’s knowledge with the theory from the linguistics book written by some experts. The selected books which were used to analyze were: “How English Works, A Linguistic Introduction” (Curzan & Adams, 2012); “Linguistics, An Introduction” (Radford et al., 2009); and “Contemporary Linguistic Analysis, An Introduction” (O’Grady & Archibald, 2016). The study’s findings revealed that the teacher had sufficient linguistic competence while delivering the course. The findings also assisted in recognizing that linguistic competence is a significant part of the analysis in terms of how a teacher may remain competent while providing the course. In short, linguistics is considered valuable because it may increase teacher’s awareness of language, making the teacher more competent and, hence, a better language teacher.

Abstract:
The study of Malay linguistics is a dynamic and intellectually engaging pursuit that provides valuable insights into the nuanced subtleties of one of the world's most widely spoken languages. The study of the Malay language holds a significant place in the extensive field of linguistic research because it reflects the diverse linguistic and cultural legacy of the Malay Archipelago. The study explores and analyses Malay linguistic studies conducted over the past two decades, examining trends, types of studies, research methodologies, prevalent themes, and author networks within Malay linguistics. The study employs bibliometric analysis of articles retrieved from the Scopus database using the keyword "Malay Linguistic." Utilising Vosviewer software, it identifies key trends and essential research themes within Malay linguistics. The findings revealed several key points. Firstly, publication trends in Malay linguistics varied over two decades, peaking at 91 publications in 2023, with stability observed from 2004 to 2009. This dynamic reflects evolving research interests with 724 publications. Major publishing venues were predominantly international journals in Malaysia and beyond the Malay Archipelago. Secondly, qualitative research was the primary method, often complemented by interdisciplinary and mixed-method approaches. Thirdly, common themes included Malay communities, dialect variations, identity, language structure, and applied linguistics. Fourthly, the author network in Malay linguistics remains interconnected, primarily among researchers from the Malay Peninsula. The trend of study themes in Malay linguistics has remained relatively stable, showing continuity with the status quo of the previous patterns. However, there has been a noticeable development in publication venues and author networks during this period.

Abstract:
This article delves into the intricate cognitive and linguistic dimensions of the term “frame” within contemporary linguistics. Originally introduced in artificial intelligence to organize databases, the concept of a frame has evolved to become a pivotal tool in linguistic analysis, enabling the depiction of diverse worldviews inherent to different languages. A frame is conceptualized as a structure comprising nodes (concepts) and connections, functioning akin to gestalt units by integrating sensory and rational elements. Charles Fillmore's definition positions frames as cognitive structures associated with the knowledge represented by words, encompassing both linguistic and extralinguistic information.

Abstract:
In their conceptual framework for linguistic literacy development, Ravid & Tolchinsky synthesize research studies from several perspectives. One of these is corpus-based research, which has been used for several large-scale research studies of spoken and written registers over the past 20 years. In this approach, a large, principled collection of natural texts (a ‘corpus’) is analysed using computational and interactive techniques, to identify the salient linguistic characteristics of each register or text variety. Three characteristics of corpus-based analysis are particularly important (see Biber, Conrad & Reppen 1998):[bull ] a special concern for the representativeness of the text sample being analysed, and for the generalizability of findings;[bull ] overt recognition of the interactions among linguistic features: the ways in which features co-occur and alternate;[bull ] a focus on register as the most important parameter of linguistic variation: strong patterns of use in one register often represent only weak patterns in other registers.

Abstract:
The article deals with the sentiment analysis regimentation as a relevant direction in automated natural language processing and its linguistic potential. Despite its impressive practical significance, the sentiment analysis still lacks reliable theoretical foundation. Although information technologies develop very fast, their fundamental foundations correlate with the linguistic system of knowledge. In fact, the methodological priority of the applied linguistics has no alternative with regard to the interdisciplinary specificity of the modern communication. The complex nature of this research made the authors appeal to the computer linguistics in order to provide a meta-description on the algorithmization and modeling of sentiment evaluation. The effectiveness of the relevant practice was conditioned by the optimal configuration of the procedure and an appropriate material evaluation. The preprocessing included identifying the meta-structure, defining its referentiality and level orientation, and choosing the analysis model. The authors described these main steps of the preprocessing algorithm, as well as the relevant practice. The study contributes to productive theoretical optimization of text sentiment analysis. In a broad context, the expedient disclosure of linguistic potential is relevant to the whole sphere of automated natural language processing.

Abstract:
Comparative language typology is part of the general typology of linguistics. She studies systems of two or more languages, certain categories of languages in a deductive way (from external to internal). Comparative linguistic typology, as the concept itself shows, is a linguistic subject of typology based on the method of comparison. Comparative typology can equally consider only dominant or common features, as well as only distinctive features that occur in languages of the same structural type (synthetic, analytical, agglutinative, etc.) or in languages of different structural types (synthetic and analytical, agglutinative and incorporated, etc.). The classification of the main essential features of languages, and their most important characteristics and patterns, are the subject of comparative linguistic typology. The task of comparative linguistic typology is to create general typological rules and concepts by comparing linguistic phenomena of different languages. Classification of the main essential features of languages, the most important characteristics and regularities are the subject of comparative typology. Abstract:
One intriguing aspect in linguistic studies is linguistic landscape, which encompasses the use of language in public spaces. This research aims to delineate the syntactic characteristics of information boards within self-cleaning temples (Malukat) situated in Gianyar, Bali. Furthermore, it investigates the function of the bilingual information boards' (Indonesian and English). The study employs a qualitative method to elucidate the syntactic scopes and semantic functions found in the informational boards. The analysis draws from landscape linguistics theory by Yendra and Artawa (2020) and incorporates micro-linguistics theories, including Noortyani's (2017) syntactic scope theory, Landry and Bourhis (1997) linguistic landscape theory, and Nida's (2000) translation equivalence theory. Findings reveal that temple information boards exhibit diverse syntactic scopes, predominantly in the form of sentences, as they convey detailed and comprehensible information to visitors. The semiotic function employed in public space signboards predominantly features informational and symbolic functions, contributing to the overall linguistic landscape of the temple environment. The research concludes the fact that the dynamic relationship between language, culture, and public spaces, emphasizing the need for a nuanced approach to linguistic analysis in diverse environments.

Geolinguistics, or so-called geographical linguistics, is concerned with human languages, their dialects, and their distribution on the map of the world, and seeks to count the number of users of this or that language, or those who speak it, taking into account the compatibility and differences between the various performances. This study aims to try to draw the general linguistic features of Arab geographers, and to highlight them by extracting some linguistic issues in which the style of their linguistic thinking becomes clear to us. The study of selected Arab geographical literature includes a modern linguistic study within the framework of the study of the first indications of geographic linguistics, and the study of its topics, contents and future visions of this science in the light of what these books contain. From this standpoint, the importance of this research comes from the level of morphological linguistic analysis in models from the main geographical books.

Abstract:
The prevailing hallmark within contemporary paradigms of humanitarian research is anthropocentrism, characterized principally by its invocation of Homo Loquens, or "speaking man." Within this context, the scrutiny of discourse, which embodies the pivotal facet of human existence expressed through language, assumes a paramount role. It is not fortuitous that discursive linguistics has presently become an integral component of anthropocentric linguistics, introducing innovative methodologies for acquiring, describing, and interpreting linguistic materials. The discursive dimension mandates an examination of linguistic phenomena in conjunction with cultural-historical, socio-situational, and communicative-pragmatic attributes. The effective deployment of communicative strategies necessitates the utilization of rhetorical devices such as metaphor, analogy, epithet, anaphora, and the like. The integrated utilization of diverse linguistic resources undoubtedly amplifies the potency of language, which constitutes the primary objective in constructing the requisite persona of a political figure. Abstract:
The emergence of the concept of modern pragmatics is what prompted linguists to pay attention to the issue of reception. For a period of time, linguistics has been divided into two main traditional divisions, syntax, which studies the relationship between linguistic signs, and semantics, which examines the relationships of linguistic signs with the meanings they signify. These two branches aspired to describe the works of human language. Then, philosophers of language added a third section and called it pragmatics, which is concerned with the relations of the linguistic sign. The present study aims to reveal and highlight the pragmatic dimensions in the ancient linguistic lesson in some grammatical structures, including addressing, contracting, and temptation and warning. The researcher selected samples and applied pragmatic dimensions on them to clarify their forms.

Abstract:
Linguistic forensics can be seen as an applied linguistic science because forensic linguistics uses the application of language analysis that can include phonetics, phonology, lexigramatika, semantic discourse, and other linguistic elements for the benefit of legal processes. In its increasingly dynamic development, language analysis in forensic linguistics has a unique dimension that requires special study. This research aims to discuss aspects in the dimension of language analysis used for forensic linguistics with the main variety of writing. The discussion of the variety is associated with the language used in the lease agreement as well as the context implied in it. The discussion is also enriched with references to several studies to display the potential that can be explored more deeply. The method used in this study is the qualitative descriptive method because this research focuses on the dimensions of language analysis that are typical in forensic linguistics i.e. comparative dimension, differentiator, and gauge. It is expected that this article can contribute insight into the development of forensic linguistics research.

Abstract:
The research article section, especially the introduction, has been a focus of scholarly discourse research for many years while linguistic strategies in the conclusion of research articles remain understudied. Moreover, most of the previous studies discussed linguistic features from the perspective of single-language strategies. Given this, this paper adopted an MDA (multi-dimensional analysis) method (Biber, 1988) to analyze the distribution of 67 linguistics features in the conclusions of 200 RAs (Research Articles) with the aid of the corpus tool MAT (Multi-dimensional Analysis Tagger) devised by Nini. The result showed that the dimension scores directed to the negative polarity for Dimension 1 (Mean=-15.80, SD=5.40), Dimension 2 (Mean=-2.61, SD=2.08) and Dimension 4 (Mean=-1.62, SD=2.74), and positive polarity for Dimension 3 (Mean=7.33, SD=2.85), Dimension 5 (Mean=5.47, SD=3.05), which indicated that conclusions of linguistic RAs are presented as informational-dense, relatively context-independent, less explicitly persuasive, highly technical, and abstract. Besides, the main linguistic features that contributed to the language variation of the RAs conclusion writing in Linguistics are Nouns, Attributive adjectives, Present tenses, Past participial WHIZ deletions, Phrasal coordination, Nominalization, Pied piping constructions, Infinitive TO, Possibility modals (e.g. may, might), Suasive verbs and Agentless passives. The study revealed the specific distribution of linguistic features of conclusion writing in RAs, highlighting the nature of informativeness and the abstractness of academic writing. This study may have some implications for writing academic papers, especially for graduates studying linguistics.

Abstract:
In connection with the transition of the Kazakh alphabet to the Latin script, further improvement of the orthological codification of the Kazakh language becomes relevant. As you know, the system-centric object of the science of orthology is the norm / linguistic norm / literary norm. In passing, we note that there are still unresolved issues in the definition of a linguistic norm / literary norm in linguistics. In recent years, the problems of orthology have been actively developed in Kazakh linguistics, incl. special attention was paid to the study of spelling, orthoepic, lexical norms of the modern Kazakh literary language. First of all, there is a need to define the essence of the norm as an ontological category and the creation of an integral orthological theory, which will contribute to a deeper understanding of the phenomenon in general of the linguistic norm, its systemic properties and functioning features, in particular. And also the unification and codification of the language norm will have an effective impact on further improving the language culture and the development of language capital will contribute to ensuring the full activity of the Kazakh language as a state language. The article analyzes the relationship and difference between the concepts of norm – linguistic norm – literary norm and the characteristic features of norms – regulatory function, tradition and internal dynamism.

Corpus linguistics investigates language using extensive text databases. Tools assist researchers in analyzing, extracting, and interpreting linguistic information efficiently. Furthermore, if researchers only use traditional tools in corpus linguistic analysis, they will lack the comprehensiveness and efficiency required to effectively navigate and derive valuable insights from language data. This paper employed the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) approach to find the primary data based on a few keywords in corpus linguistic, corpus analysis, computational linguistic, text corpora and tool support. Based on this method, we used advanced searching techniques on Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) and discovered (N=28) data pertinent to the study. Expert scholars decide on a theme based on the problem, which is (i) types of corpus tools and their uses; (ii) their contributions and their capabilities (iii) limitations of corpus tools. All the tools were used in interdisciplinary studies. In summary, this systematic review uncovers pivotal key findings at the intersection of computational tools and corpus analysis, enriching linguistic knowledge. It highlights the interdisciplinary potential of corpus-based analysis in advancing linguistic tools and, their applications, as well as language analysis.

Institutional Communication and Democratic Language Education. The contribution of the Think Aloud Protocol In this paper, the linguistic obscurity of institutional languages is related to the students’ tendency to draw on the bureaucratic variety of their linguistic repertoire in the formal writing process. In particular, by means of didactic proposals carried out with Think Aloud Protocol (TAP) and the subsequent analysis in grids, it was possible to observe the writing process and to intervene at an early stage with respect to the crystallisation of bureaucratic language. The analysis and self-analysis of the writing process thus proved to be an essential teaching tool for the promotion of democratic linguistic education.

Abstract:
Abstract. The following research focuses on universal value analyses and lingvocultural analysis. It primarily focuses on the innovation, in that the concept of linguistic analysis has been combined with the concept of text. Furthermore, this method raises the work's theoretical level. These values therefore have an impact on how citizens are motivated to act as citizens and how their acts as global citizens are validated. Values serve as social action regulators. According to some researchers, education tends to lead to emancipation. "Universal value" refers to uncritically copying the value system of another country, supporting so-called "western" "freedom, democracy, equality, and human rights," among other ideals, while ignoring the originality and specificity of their own growth. It promotes itself as the universal ideals of human society, then goes on to criticize China's contemporary political structure. It is directly intended at promoting a political discourse and system with a strong stamp of western institutions, which is wrapped in academic language and transmitted through academic discourse. Universal values are supra-individual regulators of activity in society. Their image is a composite representation of certain values, which are reflected in the scientific public consciousness and the public consciousness of ordinary speakers of the national language and culture. Being a powerful personal resource, values also act as a basis linking the individual and society. Values perform a socializing function, because they are reproduced in the cultural structures of society, determine the consciousness of generations. This research is based on the idea that the real reality perceived by a person in the process of objective activity is reflected in the consciousness of an individual in the form of temporal, spatial and causal connections of phenomena and objects. In this regard, the model of linguistic consciousness can be represented by a certain set of associations, with the help of which a carrier of a certain culture acquires an idea of a fragment of the image of the world. Introduction. Both inside schooling and throughout society, education promotes, amplifies, and transmits values. Individuals will operate within society as a result of their values motivating them to take acts that they consider worthwhile. Individuals' actions may be influenced by society's emphasis on values, which may be influenced by social pressure to comply or social affirmation of good ideals. Research methods. The translation of values, the meaning of valus, the essence of the concept, the excessive length, complex phrases are inconvenient, with an excessive number of English values. Results and discussions. It is very important for a lingvoculture to work with a specialist in the field from the beginning to the end of the translation development process. There are good reasons for this. Bilingual dictionaries are more practical than textual content. For dictionaries of practical translation, the functional value of the term is important, that is, the user must be able to use the dictionary in order to understand a certain value in the correct context, understand it from a communicative point of view and understand it herself. Conclusion. In terms of idea, language and its intended use are extremely crucial to examine in the context of mass media. For the time being, any of us must be active in the process of communication.

AbstractIn the past few decades, it has extensively been written about corpus linguistics, which has owned its upswing mainly to the use of electronic corpora since the 1960s (Brown Corpus). Meanwhile, an increasing number of fields within general and applied linguistics (e.g. computational linguistics, discourse analysis, contrastive linguistics, diachronic and synchronic linguistics, language teaching and learning research, lexicology and lexicography, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, translation studies) have been using corpus linguistic methods. In linguistic research, the empirical and descriptive character of corpus-based linguistic analysis has also been given an emphasis. Thanks to the digital revolution of the 20th and 21st centuries the creation and provision of digital linguistic corpora is becoming accessible for smaller nations and language communities as well as for scientists. Nowadays, linguistic corpora cannot only be regarded as a tool to support language research and Translation Studies, but they also contribute to the enrichment of cultural diversity. The article focuses on international examples as well as on the most significant Hungarian corpora. The paper also discusses the criteria of corpus creation and several cultural aspects of corpus linguistics.

Abstract:
Focusing on computational linguistic approaches to English linguistics, this research explores how computational methods can be applied to dissect, understand and utilise the English language. We first looked at text analysis and processing, delving into natural language processing techniques such as text categorisation, sentiment analysis and machine translation, and their application to social media and automated text processing. In the area of lexicography and semantics, we explored how techniques such as distributed word vectors, semantic role labelling and sentiment analysis can deepen our understanding of vocabulary and semantics. We highlight the importance of these techniques in natural language processing tasks such as sentiment analysis and information retrieval. In addition, we focus on cross-language comparative and multilingual research, emphasising how big data and cross-language comparative research can reveal similarities and differences between languages and their implications for global linguistics. Finally, we explore corpus linguistics and big data analytics, highlighting the richness of linguistic data and tools they provide for linguistic research. Overall, this study highlights the importance of computational linguistic approaches to English linguistics and how they have transformed the way linguistics is studied and language technology has evolved. Future research trends will continue to drive the further development of computational linguistics methods, leading to a closer integration of linguistics with big data analytics and computational methods, creating more opportunities for the future of the field of linguistics.

Abstract:
Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to discuss the usefulness of Halliday’s linguistic theory known as Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL) in analysing qualitative data. In order to do this, it initially presents an overview of SFL, and then explains how and why four linguistic features namely, nominalisation, grammatical metaphor, thematic structure and lexical density are useful in examining qualitative data. The paper also discusses three social metafunctions of language known as the ideational, the interpersonal and the textual metafunctions which are significant for understanding and interpreting texts. Design/methodology/approach – This paper employs SFL as the main theoretical framework to discussing the usefulness of this linguistics theory in qualitative data analysis. Findings – SFL can be seen as a paradigm shift in linguistic theory moving away from the traditional focus on syntax to the inclusion of the interface between language and pragmatics. The focus of SFL is language in use. It deals with texts in social contexts, which is the main focus in qualitative data analysis. Thus, SFL provides both research tools and theoretical insights for understanding and interpreting texts. Originality/value – This paper provides significant insights into language which are crucial for understanding and interpreting texts in social contexts.

Abstract:
In the article on the base of the linguistic synergetics concept of G. G. Piotrovsky the problems of French linguistics metalanguage, issues of linguistic terminology are examined. The author emphasizes that the metalanguage of linguistics is a complex phenomenon, which, on the one hand, there are the system relations between terms, on the other one there are general academic vocabulary, words and phrases that are used when describing various aspects of linguistic research. Terminology of linguistics requires a special effort in the studying, because the object-language and metalanguage coincide in terms of expression, that is, have the same substance. The article presents the analysis of the metalanguage state of French linguistics, which is a diachronic interweaving of numerous schools and directions, author’s theories and concepts; the distinctive features of the French linguistic terminology are examined. It is noted that in the semiotic aspect the French linguistic terminology is characterized by the following properties: French linguistic term is a simple or complex sign that in the framework of French lingui stics embodies a linguistic concept in its meaning. Terminological field of French linguistics meets the semantic space that is a counterpart of the French linguistics as a special subject area and includes the totality of semantic fields of general lingui stic, grammatical, phonetic, phonological and lexicological terms.

Abstract:
The article considers the emotionality and expressiveness of the scientific text, which is actively studied in world linguistics, and is now being adopted in Kazakh linguistics. The comprehensive linguistic analyses of the works of Kazakh scientists have been made to show the relevance of the topic. The analyzed works are written in the field of humanities telling the history of the nation, continuing the past and present of the people and raising our national spirit. In order to immediately observe the expressive style and emotional character of the words, the words are organized in the form of a table. In the course of linguistic analysis, the national cultural character of the Kazakh people is determined through emotional, expressive vocabulary, and on the basis of the cognitive nature of the proposed language units, the personal and linguistic features of the authors are discussed. It also looks at the current issues in modern Kazakh linguistics, identified in the analysis of the emotionality and expressiveness of scientific texts. As a result of the linguistic analysis, it was proved that emotional-expressive words found in works written in a scientific style contain information from the historical period.

AbstractThe research background is the importance of mathematical logical intelligence and linguistic in influencing learning outcomes. The research aims to predict student learning outcomes based on mathematical logical intelligence and linguistics. The method of research is correlational-quantitative which was carried out at SMPN 16th Yogyakarta in classes VII A, VII B, and VII C in 2019/2020. Researchers used 30 students as samples and cluster random sampling technique as sampling method, namely by taking 10 students in each cluster that was determined. By using cluster random sampling, researchers can determine the sample from each cluster, so that the sample used can be evenly distributed. The instrument used is a scale of logical-mathematical intelligence and linguistic intelligence. The data analysis technique used multiple regression analysis which was carried out with SPSS 25. The results of the analysis showed that there was a positive effect of mathematical and linguistic logical intelligence on students' mathematics learning outcomes. Mathematical logical intelligence and linguistic contribute as a predictor of student mathematics learning outcomes.
