For the first time, comprehensive informations of all lumbricids in the country are given in order to establish the definitive list of known taxa from Serbia. The list underlines earthworm diversity and provides a general overview of their ecology, distribution in Serbia, and zoogeographical position. The complete list of earthworm taxa of Serbia comprises 74 species and subspecies of Lumbricidae, belonging to 15 genera. One third of earthworms in Serbia are endemics (26 taxa = 35.1%).

Airfoils undergoing dynamic stall often display a secondary lift peak after the lift has begun to decrease. A study of this phenomenon for the NACA 0012 and VR-12 airfoils shows that the secondary peak is followed by a damped oscillation in lift. Abstract:
This paper presents the currently known records on the diversity of earthworm fauna on Šar Mountain. The Šar Mt. is located in the south part of Serbia and is a part of the Šar-Pindus Mountain system. The complete list of present taxa of the family Lumbricidae in the researches area was formed by reviewing data from old collections, relevant literary sources and by its own field research in the period from 2019 to 2020. The list comprises 24 taxa, belonging to 10 genera of the family Lumbricidae. The genera with the largest number of the registered taxa are Dendrobaena (7) and Aporrectodea (5)

The State of Qatar is a small peninsula located in the northeastern part of the Arabian Peninsula. It is classified as a subtropical desert with an extreme harsh climatic conditions in summer and mild winter. Information on Formicidae of Qatar as well as its insect fauna is poorly documented. The characteristic of the collection of succulents and xerophytes in the greenhouse of the Polar Alpine Botanical Garden is given. The collection includes 332 plant specimens belonging to 270 species from 80 genera of 15 families. Among them, groups of monocots (4 orders) and dicots (7 orders) are distinguished. Greenhouse succulents are found in 6 floristic kingdoms. The collection includes the following life forms: trees, shrubs, shrubs and herbs.
