Full textThis study has as its objective the competency mapping of professionals under the CLT (Consolidation of Labor Laws a decree which governs labor relations in Brazil) and its comparison to the pre-existing competency mapping of federal public servants, all of them working in the same Technology Laboratory. The single case study took place in the Integration and Testing Laboratory (LIT) in São José dos Campos, S P. The research raises information, describes and compares data, being characterized, therefore, as exploratory and descriptive. The competency survey was done using a population of sixty-eight CLT employees who submitted themselves to a semi-structured interview process. The collected information was classified, grouped and registered by means of frequency of occurrence, according to the theoretical models proposed by Fleury and Fleury and Chang Junior and Santos. The main results, classified by means of frequency and functional category, point out the specific and technical competences as having the major incidence, followed by the social and individual competences, finalizing with the organizational skills of each occupation. The mapping comparison between the categories of CLT professionals and of public servants of this Laboratory presented results according to the criteria and methods used and to the characteristics of the regimes and legislation that each category must follow. More specifically, the similar competencies are: Expertise Area of Technical Knowledge, Performance in Projects, Knowledge Management, Innovation, Interface with Customers, Commitment, Flexibility. The competencies considered different are: External and Internal Articulation, Systemic and Strategic Vision, People Development and Leadership. In a more synthetic way, it can be noted that the result of this research was positive in the sense that provides to the Laboratory inexistent data with respect to these two categories of professionals. The mapping of competencies for managing LIT people becomes a tool of domain and benefits, identifying the profiles of professionals presenting a global vision of the positions and competencies measurements, greater benefit to the professional, for managers and for the Laboratory strategy. Full textRegulated by Declaration 80/1998 officially created in Brazil the Professional Masters, that has as a priority to group competitiveness and productivity for businesses and the better management of social sectors of the government and other organizations, adding quality as much to the production of goods as well as services. The success of this new branch of study requires an intercommunication between the university and the productive sector, as a means of connecting the university to the demands of the working world, balancing the development of knowledge, capable of promoting the growth of efficiency and effectiveness of different social sectors of society, connecting fields of knowledge with the fields of application. To add to the Masters degree a possibility of the professional forming more as an initiative in order to favor the social adjustment that the country needs to make thus a fertile field of research is opened. It is in this space that it is justified the relevancy of this study that has as its objective to analyze the social gains conquered by the students of the Professional Masters - PPGEN, offered by the Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro UFRRJ (Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro) with the graduating classes of 2005 and 2006, as of the analysis of the developed As of the adoption of the qualitative methodology, the Social gains received by the enrolled students within the graduating classes of the years of 2005 and 2006 in the Post Graduate Program of the MBA of the Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro-UFRRJ are identified. The results suggest that the students who developed competency have obtained social gains within their careers, in their personal lives and within their social lives and scientific formation. It also points to relative difficulties to the conciliation between work and study, the time of enrollment within the disciplines and the academic profile of the professors with aspects that can be better understood. Considering that this study evaluates only one of the views of the process, new questions arose throughout the study, showing the way to new studies. Amongst them is the need to study if there is a correspondence between the perceptions of the students of their professors, seeing that the proof of their competency is not merely within the sphere of their students, but overall, within the mobilization of resources within the work atmosphere. The first starting point is that this study invites a long term study with the students about the ease and challenges encountered within the range of work to react with competen in order to apply all of the knowledge that has been gained within the past two years.

Our research investigated in which way newspaper’s journalists identity is influenced by the use of new media on their jobs at the newsroom. For this, we evaluated how the use of smartphone as work tools triggered conflicts and tensions among reporters from Diário do Nordeste who started questioning their own identity as newspaper’s journalists. The choice of Diário as the object of this analysis can be explained by the fact that the newspaper ¬– the second in circulation in the northeast of Brazil – is one of the first in the local scenario to implement journalistic convergence strategies. We adopted as the delimitation of the research the case study of what Diário do Nordeste identifies as multimedia practice. Using data collection techniques, as the empirical observation and depth interviews, was possible to comprehend how the production of multimedia content generated the construction of a whole new habitus at Diário’s newsroom, marked by the development of journalist’s new cognitive competences. We also investigated how the transformations descendant from multimediatic production influenced the relation of force and power in the newsroom. Starting from the hypothesis that the journalists which defines themselves as multimedia are in dominance, we initiated the analysis of conflicts and tensions established on the daily routine of these professionals. From theorical point of view, we discussed identity concept, modernity consequences, we also did a communication theories revision and of its relations with discussion about the presence of technology in contemporaneity and yet reflected about mediatic and journalistic convergence, using the ideas from authors like Henry Jenkins (2008), Salaverría e Negredo (2008), Esther Applegren (2005) and Rosely Fragoso (2006). In the end, we presented how Diário do Nordeste’s journalists define themselves, if as newspapers journalists or multimedia ones and reflected about the new professional shape designed on labour market, marked by the knowledge, practice and paginal functions and on-line journalism related functions convergence.
Nossa pesquisa investigou em que medida a identidade do jornalista de impresso é influenciada pelo uso de novas mídias na rotina de trabalho na redação. Para tal, avaliamos como o uso de um celular multifuncional como ferramenta de trabalho desencadeou conflitos e tensões entre os repórteres do jornal cearense Diário do Nordeste a ponto destes questionarem sua própria identidade enquanto jornalistas de impresso. A escolha do Diário como objeto de análise se justifica pelo fato de o jornal – o segundo maior em circulação no Nordeste brasileiro – ser um dos primeiros no cenário local a implementar estratégias de convergência jornalística. Adotamos como delineamento de pesquisa o estudo de caso da prática identificada pelo Diário do Nordeste como multimídia. Por meio de técnicas de coleta de dados, como a observação empírica e entrevistas em profundidade, foi possível compreender como o exercício da produção de conteúdos multimídia desencadeou a construção de um novo habitus na redação do Diário do Nordeste, marcado pelo desenvolvimento de novas competências cognitivas por parte dos jornalistas. Investigamos também em que medida as transformações provenientes com a produção multimidiática influenciou as relações de força e poder presentes no espaço social da redação. Tomando como ponto de partida a hipótese de que os jornalistas que se definem como multimídia ocupam a posição de dominantes, partimos para a análise dos conflitos e tensões instaurados no cotidiano desses profissionais. Do ponto de vista teórico, discutimos o conceito de identidade, as consequências da modernidade, fizemos uma revisão de correntes teóricas da comunicação e de suas relações com discussões em torno da presença da tecnologia na contemporaneidade e ainda articulamos reflexões de autores como Henry Jenkins (2008), Salaverría e Negredo (2008), Esther Applegren (2005) e Rosely Fragoso (2006) sobre a convergência midiática e jornalística. Ao final, apresentamos como os jornalistas do Diário do Nordeste se definem, se como jornalistas de impresso ou jornalistas multimídia e refletimos sobre um novo perfil de profissional delineado no mercado de trabalho, marcado pela convergência de saberes, práticas e funções relativas ao impresso e ao jornalismo on-line.

Resumo: O presente estudo discute a Psicologia do Esporte no cenário brasileiro problematizando as condições de formação oferecidas atualmente. Para dar conta desse objetivo, foram selecionadas como fontes de dados, os capítulos de livros, da literatura nacional, que discorriam sobre os temas formação e fazer profissional do psicólogo esportivo e, entrevistas realizadas com profissionais que atuam e/ou contribuem com a Psicologia do Esporte brasileira. A técnica escolhida para análise dos dados foi a Análise de Conteúdo. Através da criação de categorias de análise foi possível extrair elementos importantes a respeito da formação e do fazer profissional do psicólogo esportivo, entre eles: qual tem sido o papel assumido pela Psicologia dentro da formação do psicólogo esportivo, quais são as competências necessárias ao psicólogo do esporte para que o mesmo realize suas funções de forma adequada ao contexto esportivo e, as facilidades e/ou dificuldades apontadas pelos profissionais entrevistados durante sua trajetória como psicólogos esportivos e que, ainda hoje, são encontradas pelos profissionais que se interessam ou trabalham com Psicologia do Esporte. Os resultados obtidos mostraram que: há uma discussão em torno do momento em que deve se dar a formação do psicólogo esportivo, se em nível de graduação ou pós-graduação (lato e stricto-sensu); há uma preocupação se os cursos de especialização em Psicologia do Esporte têm conseguido preencher as lacunas apontadas em relação ao conteúdo específico, necessários à atuação do psicólogo; a maioria dos entrevistados (11) se interessaram pela Psicologia do Esporte através de experiências vivenciadas ou como atletas e/ou como técnicos; apenas quatro profissionais concluíram, em primeiro lugar, a graduação em Psicologia, o restante fez o curso como segunda ou terceira formação e, dos 12 entrevistados, 10 realizam funções acadêmicas e de intervenção no campo da Psicologia do Esporte. A partir desses resultados, foi possível discutir questões relacionadas à formação do psicólogo esportivo no Brasil, que possibilitaram a desmistificação de algumas crenças em relação a sua formação: a primeira, é de que a formação desse profissional não tem, necessariamente, que se dar em nível de graduação, já que não há provas concretas de que a disciplina Psicologia do Esporte supriria o conhecimento exigido pela mesma; segundo, o fato de existir apenas um curso de especialização que fornece o título de especialista em Psicologia do Esporte, não invalida a formação de profissionais que decidiram fazer outros cursos de especialização. Nas considerações finais, foram apontadas algumas necessidades que devem ser preenchidas para possibilitar novos rumos em direção à formação e ao fazer profissional do psicólogo esportivo, entre elas: o desenvolvimento de um corpo específico de conhecimento que possa dar conta de desenvolver as competências exigidas nesse fazer profissional; delimitação de quem é, tecnicamente, capacitado ou qualificado para exercer a função de psicólogo esportivo; aumento na troca de informações entre os profissionais que atuam e/ou contribuem para a Psicologia do Esporte; aumento na demanda de cursos de especialização em Psicologia do Esporte credenciados pelo CFP e ABEP e a realização de trabalhos mais aprofundados sobre formação e fazer profissional do psicólogo esportivo no Brasil
Abstract: The present study argues Sports Psychology within Brazilian scenario discussing actual offered formation conditions. In order to reach this goal chapters from national literature books that approached on professional formation themes and sport psychologist professional performance, and interviews conducted with professionals that perform and/or contribute to the Brazilian Sports Psychology were selected as data sources. Technique chose for data analyzes was Content Analyzes. Throughout creation of categories of analyzes, it was possible to extract important elements regarded sports psychologist professional formation and performance, per example: which one has been the role assumed by the Psychology on the sports psychologist formation; which ones are the necessary competences to the sports psychologists for putting themselves into their functions in an adequate way at the sportive context; and easiness and/or difficulties pointed out by the professionals interviewed during their journeys as sports psychologists that are also being found by the professionals nowadays who are interested or are working with Sports Psychology. Results obtained showed that: there is a discussion about the moment that the sports psychologist formation should be done, if it should happen during undergraduate studies or during graduate studies (lato and stricto-sensu); there is a concern about continuing education courses, if they are reaching the goals of filling the gaps pointed out about specific contents necessary to the psychologist to perform in sports fields; the majority of the ones interviewed (11) were interested about Sports Psychology throughout self-experiences as athletes and/or as coaches, only four professionals first concluded Psychology major, the rest of them had the Psychology major as second or third option, and, from the twelve interviewed, 10 are actually working at academic and intervention functions into the field of Sports Psychology. From these results, it was possible to discuss questions related to sports psychologists formation in Brazil that made possible to overcome the myth of some believes related to their formation: first, formation of this professionals does not necessarily need to be done during undergraduation studies, as there are no concrete evidence that the Sports Psychology discipline would fulfill by itself the knowledge needed; second, the fact that there is just one continuing education course that provides the title of Sports Psychology Specialist does not invalidate the formation of professionals that decided to take other continuing education courses. In the last considerations, some actual needs that have to be addressed to make possible new paths towards to sports psychologist professional formation and performance were discussed. Among them: development of a specific body of knowledge that can answer the needs of developing competences asked for good professional performance; to mark out who is technically able or qualified to exercise the sports psychologist function; a raise between information shared among professionals that perform and/or contribute for Sports Psychology; a raise on the demand of continuing education courses in Sports Psychology authorized by CFP and ABEP and more extensive research works about sports psychologists' professional formation and performance in Brazil

Full textThis study analyzed the general competence of professional education for the health areas appointed in the Resolution CEB n°4/1999, and searched theoretical references to build specific competences in the formation of medium level nursing professional. The four dimensions proposed by Paulo Amarante and the concept of human competence from Neise Deluiz, pointing to the multi-dimensional character of the care process in the health field were used as the axle of analysis. A qualitative research was performed using as methodological resource, the documental analysis. The complexity of the health-illness process was considered for the epistemological dimension, as professional competence, pointing to the challenge of rupture with the biological model. The technical-assistance dimension highlights the search for competences like the production of therapeutical acts in the health services aiming the full care in the organization of the work process. This should consider welcoming along dialogue, team work, responsibility, self government and ethics as ways of transforming these healing spaces, for a production net of subjectivities and sociability. The law-politics and socio-cultural dimensions highlight the importance of social and human rights and the need for a cultural change as a mean of breaking up with the traditional view marked by prejudice, discrimination and non acceptance of difference. Citizenship, as a possibility of experiencing social participation in the community, was the competence considered relevant so that nursing professionals can be capable agents to transform the reality in the pursuit of social emancipation. It was considered at the end of this study, that the building of specific competences for the formation of medium level nursing professionals depends on the understanding that education and health are social practices. The professional institutions should be in charge of stimulating the construction of knowledge, behaviors and attitudes which compromises teachers and students to produce collective projects, which are the concrete possibility of change and transformation in pursuit of a more righteous and equal society.

Resumo: Neste trabalho procurou-se desenvolver um estudo que permitisse obter uma visão mais clara e realista sobre o tema competências. Muito se fala sobre o assunto, com a maioria concordando que é bom, porém pouca gente o aplica integralmente em suas práticas. Para isto, é necessário observar e refletir sobre os conceitos, as experiências já implantadas e analisar as crenças, teorias e conclusões de alguns estudiosos sobre esse assunto. Utilizou-se de pesquisa bibliografia para obter informações sobre experiências, pertinentes ao tema, desenvolvidas em vários países, incluindo o Brasil. Este trabalho foi embasado, também, em experiências reais, relativas ao diagnóstico, ao desenvolvimento e ao processo de avaliação, tendo como princípio norteador o conceito de competências, ou seja, a capacidade de mobilizar conhecimentos, habilidades e atitudes para o desempenho eficiente de um trabalho. Sob a ótica da gestão da qualidade, as afirmações, deduções e conclusões tiveram como foco a sua aplicabilidade e possível contribuição para a condução dos processos organizacionais. A posição de alguns autores que têm uma visão diferente à filosofia da competência, inclusive a visão dos discordantes, contrapondo com a visão idealista daqueles que a defendem, foi outro importante elemento que reforçou a necessidade de aprofundamento nesse assunto. Acredita-se que os resultados deste trabalho sejam importantes para estudos sobre formação profissional e desenvolvimento de RH, assim como para o processo de gestão das empresas
Abstract: In this work it was looked to develop a study that allowed to get a clearer and realistic view on the subject competences. Much is said on the subject, with the majority agreeing that it is good, however little people integrally apply it in its practical. For this, it is necessary to observe and to reflect on the concepts, the experiences already implanted and to analyze the beliefs, theories and conclusions of some studious on this subject. Bibliography was used of research to get information on experiences, pertinent to the subject, developed in some countries, including Brazil. This work was based, also, in real experiences, relative the diagnostic, the development and the evaluation process, having as direction principle the concept of competences, or either, the capacity to mobilize knowledge, abilities and attitudes for the efficient performance of a work. Under the view of the quality management, the affirmations, the deductions and the conclusions had as focus its applicability and possible contribution for the conduction of the processes in the organizations. The position of some authors who have a different view to the philosophy of the competence, also the view of the opponents, opposing down the idealistic view of that they defend it, was another important element that confirmed the necessity of research in this subject. It is given credit that the results of this work are important for studies on professional formation and development of people, as well as for the process of companies management

Full textThis essay aimed to analyze the influence of a high school level professional education course on the secretarial branch in the development of professional skills and also in the socioeconomic situation of their graduates. The professional education began with the aim of achieving a more targed qualification for the world of work in order to meet demands of the market that increasingly looks for people with ability to develop diverse professional skills. The role of secretarial professionals is prominently growing in global demand, in addition to be considered a profession which is undergoing major changes since its conception. The study was built on a descriptive as well as quantitative type of research. Documental and bibliographical studies were based on the work of distingued authors. Beyond that, the research was consolidated through the application of questionnaires completed by the students that accomplished the requirements of the Secretarial Technical Course offered by CETREDE-Development and Training Center, in Fortaleza. The answers were based on the influence of the course in the skills improvement and socioeconomic growth of their graduates, which results became significantly positive. The study provided a series of reflections that may help to encourage the implementation of new researches, emphasizing the importance of professional education as well as the importance of the secretarial professional worker.

Full textBrazil has been undergoing major demographic change.According to IBGE, the next 20 years the country's elderly population may reach over 30 million people. This tariff provides specifics regarding the process of health / disease. It is essential that higher education institutions are committed to this demand in view of the integrated training of health needs of society. The aim of this study is to analyze the Pedagogical Political Projects (PPP) of courses in dentistry in Rio Grande do Norte (RN), according to the national curriculum guidelines (DCNS) and training from the perspective of health care for the elderly. This is an exploratory study with a qualitative approach: with records and interviews. The study subjects were an Assistant Professor in the development of PPPs for each institution. The scenario in this study were dental training institutions in the newborns. Initially, the analysis of the PPP was by using the Alceste 4.9 software. The interpretation of the contents of interviews with teachers was done through content analysis of Bardin (2010). The PPPs are based on the DCNS, meet the characteristics of regional and seek a generalist, but still strongly directed to technical and scientific aspects of professional practice. Efforts and institutional approaches, involving teachers and students of the courses are being mobilized for training with more articulated network of health services. However, the emphasis on content pertaining to the health care of the elderly, is still limited when compared to those targeted content inherent in children and adolescents in all three curricular structures. It is reasonable to conclude that the historical, political, scientific, cultural and social, present in society, influence the formation of the dental professional RN. The greater participation of society in the process of vocational training in dentistry is needed. This can be done from the involvement of universities with health councils, bodies representing the dental profession and other segments of civil society in order to induce changes that generate ideas and educational practices integrative and interdisciplinary, with emphasis on continuing education for teachers, servants, employees and students. Full textThe changes in the professional nurse\'s profile set up historically in function of the dynamics occur in the health labor market, which then, suffer influences of the economics, social and cultural context. The increasing competitiveness of the health organizations demands the search of professional nurses more and more qualified and enabled. The necessity of development of the assistance competences, managerial, of research and teaching objectifying the exercise of the profession, it incorporates progressively to the professional\'s profile. The present study had as objectives: build the profile of managerial competences, according to coordinating nurses of area, to subsidize a plan of managerial development of the same; identify how the coordinating nurses of area realize the process of managerial working that develop in the hospitable institution; analyze the perception of the coordinating nurses regarding the necessary competences to act in the process of managerial working and identify the convergences and divergences among competences profile traced by the coordinating nurses and the competences profile defined by the Nursing and Service Management of Continued Education. Characterized as a qualitative study, was opted by the modality of the research-action. That method presupposes the research geared to the description of concrete situations and for the intervention guided regarding the problem solving indeed detected in the practice. The scenery of the research was a philanthropically hospital, in São Paulo, Municipal district. They took part in, thirteen coordinating nurses of area. The data collection occurred by means of the technique of focal group, it was made four encounters. The analysis of the data was accomplished based on theoretical references related to the working process and managerial competences. The results allowed to build a plan of professional development for the coordinating nurses of area, ruled in competences that answer the technical dimensions, ethic-politics, talkative and of development of the citizenship. Among essential competences, it assigns larger emphasis to the related to mentor, coordinator and director\'s roles. The analysis of the process of managerial working of the coordinating nurses of area and study of the necessary competences for a better performance in the managerial scope, they showed important, because they enable to create a problematic the needs to refinement and development of these coordinating nurses in an articulated manner, answering the personal, professional institutional demands

Full textThis study is about Citizen Competences acquisition in students of Initial Professional Qualification Programs from Concepción municipalities - Chile and Barcelona city - Spain. The theoretical bases try to endorse the suppositions that support the studied phenomenon. These suppositions include the citizenship from a historical contemporary perspective, for understanding the meaning of citizenship, without leaving ofside the original postulates of the concept. Also include, Citizen Education in the Chilean and Spanish context, for knowing how this matter is carried out in both educational sceneries. Moreover, it presents the Citizen Competences conceptualization depending on the vocational training and how it is in the Chilean and Spanish context. Finally a theoretical approximation to the vulnerability and to young people, whose formation are limited to vocational training programs, is performed. The study is supported in the social constructivism, because we want to known how young people at Initial Professional Qualification Programs construct their perceptions of citizenship based on their nearest environment interaction. The aims are focused on analyzing the acquisition of citizen skills and valuing their perceptions, taking into a count that young people are at Initial Professional Qualification Programs. A mixed methodology where used. The data interpretation was performed using a quantitative and a qualitative perspective. In the first one, a questionnaire was applied to a non-probabilistic sample (n: 557 students) and in the second one, a comparative analysis of education laws corresponding to both contexts of study was carried out. In the case of Chile we analyzed the LOCE 1990 and LGE 2009, and in the case of Spain we analyzed the LOGSE 1990 and LOE 2006. In addition, there were realized semi-structured interviews to 56 informants where 28 were tutors and 28 were students. The results show that the auto-perception of the citizen skills was positive with an average of 3,3. Although this is not necessarily the reflection of the everyday life, as it was expressed by some interviewees. In this situation, it is recognized the role played by the educational laws, that emphasize in the citizen skills that must acquire the pupils in the Initial Professional Qualification Programs in both contexts, as well as the teacher role, the learning strategy used and the student personal characteristics that foster or prevent the citizen skills acquisition. Also it is considered important the role of company internships which contribute positively in the citizen skills achievement. Accordingly, it is essential to continue guaranteeing this type of internships; to strengthen the dual education and/or to implement a transverse learning module in which the citizen skills subject is studied in the conceptual, procedural and attitudinal aspects. Following in this line, it is necessary to ensure the collaboration and participation of teachers, schools and businessmen in the design and orientation of vocational education. As this educational modality has importance not only in the country economy performance, but also in the social judgment, which means to obtain a quality qualification depending on the population well-being.

Nossa pesquisa investigou em que medida a identidade do jornalista de impresso à influenciada pelo uso de novas mÃdias na rotina de trabalho na redaÃÃo. Para tal, avaliamos como o uso de um celular multifuncional como ferramenta de trabalho desencadeou conflitos e tensÃes entre os repÃrteres do jornal cearense DiÃrio do Nordeste a ponto destes questionarem sua prÃpria identidade enquanto jornalistas de impresso. A escolha do DiÃrio como objeto de anÃlise se justifica pelo fato de o jornal â o segundo maior em circulaÃÃo no Nordeste brasileiro â ser um dos primeiros no cenÃrio local a implementar estratÃgias de convergÃncia jornalÃstica. Adotamos como delineamento de pesquisa o estudo de caso da prÃtica identificada pelo DiÃrio do Nordeste como multimÃdia. Por meio de tÃcnicas de coleta de dados, como a observaÃÃo empÃrica e entrevistas em profundidade, foi possÃvel compreender como o exercÃcio da produÃÃo de conteÃdos multimÃdia desencadeou a construÃÃo de um novo habitus na redaÃÃo do DiÃrio do Nordeste, marcado pelo desenvolvimento de novas competÃncias cognitivas por parte dos jornalistas. Investigamos tambÃm em que medida as transformaÃÃes provenientes com a produÃÃo multimidiÃtica influenciou as relaÃÃes de forÃa e poder presentes no espaÃo social da redaÃÃo. Tomando como ponto de partida a hipÃtese de que os jornalistas que se definem como multimÃdia ocupam a posiÃÃo de dominantes, partimos para a anÃlise dos conflitos e tensÃes instaurados no cotidiano desses profissionais. Do ponto de vista teÃrico, discutimos o conceito de identidade, as consequÃncias da modernidade, fizemos uma revisÃo de correntes teÃricas da comunicaÃÃo e de suas relaÃÃes com discussÃes em torno da presenÃa da tecnologia na contemporaneidade e ainda articulamos reflexÃes de autores como Henry Jenkins (2008), SalaverrÃa e Negredo (2008), Esther Applegren (2005) e Rosely Fragoso (2006) sobre a convergÃncia midiÃtica e jornalÃstica. Ao final, apresentamos como os jornalistas do DiÃrio do Nordeste se definem, se como jornalistas de impresso ou jornalistas multimÃdia e refletimos sobre um novo perfil de profissional delineado no mercado de trabalho, marcado pela convergÃncia de saberes, prÃticas e funÃÃes relativas ao impresso e ao jornalismo on-line.
Our research investigated in which way newspaperâs journalists identity is influenced by the use of new media on their jobs at the newsroom. For this, we evaluated how the use of smartphone as work tools triggered conflicts and tensions among reporters from DiÃrio do Nordeste who started questioning their own identity as newspaperâs journalists. The choice of DiÃrio as the object of this analysis can be explained by the fact that the newspaper Ââ the second in circulation in the northeast of Brazil â is one of the first in the local scenario to implement journalistic convergence strategies. We adopted as the delimitation of the research the case study of what DiÃrio do Nordeste identifies as multimedia practice. Using data collection techniques, as the empirical observation and depth interviews, was possible to comprehend how the production of multimedia content generated the construction of a whole new habitus at DiÃrioâs newsroom, marked by the development of journalistâs new cognitive competences. We also investigated how the transformations descendant from multimediatic production influenced the relation of force and power in the newsroom. Starting from the hypothesis that the journalists which defines themselves as multimedia are in dominance, we initiated the analysis of conflicts and tensions established on the daily routine of these professionals. From theorical point of view, we discussed identity concept, modernity consequences, we also did a communication theories revision and of its relations with discussion about the presence of technology in contemporaneity and yet reflected about mediatic and journalistic convergence, using the ideas from authors like Henry Jenkins (2008), SalaverrÃa e Negredo (2008), Esther Applegren (2005) and Rosely Fragoso (2006). In the end, we presented how DiÃrio do Nordesteâs journalists define themselves, if as newspapers journalists or multimedia ones and reflected about the new professional shape designed on labour market, marked by the knowledge, practice and paginal functions and on-line journalism related functions convergence.

It is noticeable that, in the ballet, there is only a small part of ballet school graduates who are excellent teachers capable of conveying spiritual values through their dance and so giving meaning to dance as a piece of art. Full textThe aim of our research is to try to identify the professional competences that have been acquired or are being acquired by new teachers during their training year (heuristic objective). To do so, we are following an ecological or complex paradigm (Clanet, 1997; Piot, 2014). We are particularly interested in the acquisition of competences related to three key notions such as time control, task, teacher-pupil interactions, that are studied by researchers integrated in the OPEN network (Observation des pratiques enseignantes). We presume that the professional development (Wittorski & Briquet-Duhazé, 2010), initiated at the beginning of a career, varies according to people and that this variability is interdependent of the level of these notions' competence mastering. The experience level is a major axis in our study; in a contrastive study, we shall oppose the trainee to the experienced teacher that are working in similar situations. If we aim to find out differences between professional trainees (Inter-trainee varaibility), we also claim to identify « invariabilities that show the presence of practice organisers » (Clanet, 2001). We try to identify typical beginner teacher organisers among teaching practice that are set up. To do so, we use mixed, quantitative (questionnaires) and qualitative (observation and interviews) methodologies. Questionnaires are about the mastering level of expected competences (Competence official list, 2013) and about the potential difficulties met by future teachers. People in the survey are trainees (N=178) as well as their temporary trainee supervisers (MAT: N=83). Eventually, the two representation studies are compared in order to assess their similarities. Six groups of three persons (a superviser and two trainees) in cycle 3 classes are being observed according to the three previously defined notions (Clanet, 2010). We focus on the notion of « task » in order to analyse the cross notions time and interactions. Common steps that are seen during lessons dealing with problem solving activities- and consequently tasks given to pupils- are analysed through time control and interactions. In an ergonomic perspective (Lepalt, 2000), we measure the gap between a « given » and an « effective » task through observation and interviews. The first results allow us to find out a typology of three main profiles among trainees. Moreover, in maths teaching at primary level, trainees meet similar obstacles that are common to beginners. The initial opposition between training and experienced teachers is replaced by a continuum which integrates complex teaching practice leading to multiple consequences. Full textThis research represents a contribution to a corroborative knowledge about professional competences and corporate education, under the scope of strategic human resources management. Its main goal is to investigate, considering the theory that has been built trough time and the analysis of procedures and best practices used by some Brazilian corporations, how the corporate education contributes to the development of the individual skills. As been a study field not so much developed in Brazil, the author did a qualitative an exploratory research and adopted the multiple cases studies strategy. The corporations chosen were Banco do Brasil, Caixa Econômica e Serviço Federal de Processamento de Dados, and once there, analyzed the models for human resources management based on skills, and how the companies keep these models aligned with the business strategies that drive the corporations. The intention is to understand and analyze models of people\'s competence management and also the systems for corporate education, as well as the ways each company makes the alignment of these approaches, among themselves and with the corporate strategy. This allowed the construction of a deep explanatory dashboard to investigate the dynamic relationships that are established between these two approaches, while considered in the context of the strategic process and comprehensive system of personnel management. Although it is an exploratory research, some findings were revealed by the final results. The first major finding is that in three organizations that made part of the research, professional competences and corporative education are treated in an integrated way, as strategic functions of people management. The contributions between two approaches does not happens in an unilateral way, as it was supposed in the initial objective. When applied, the two approaches work bidirectionally, building dialectic relationship of complementarity. On the one hand, competences are the main requirements for the realization and implementation of educational activities. On the other, the products of corporate education are the key contributors for developing these competences. The results indicate strong indications that the integration and alignment between corporate education and skills between themselves, and with other HR functions with corporate strategy depend on the degree of systematization and formalization of policies and practices related to these functions and the company\'s strategic process, confirming the hypothesis that was created along this research. There are also indications that the higher the alignment and integration, the greater the possibility of contribution between both functions. Another important finding relates to how the three companies make use of these approaches. Generally, they started with an ideological vies in the process, incorporating the concepts presented in its original format by specialized literature. As the time go by, they accumulate experience in dealing with their applications and realize the complexity of the process, developed into a more pragmatic view, causing a redefinition and a customization of these perspectives according to the organizational dynamics. Beyond the findings mentioned before, this study proposes a theoretical model designed with the objective of guiding the process of appropriation of approaches to competences and education to corporate business practices. It\'s about an idealized construction originated from architectural theory that justified the search and incorporates also the results commonly observed in empirical reality of the different companies that made part of the survey.

The aim of this work was to stimulate the students of the Module on Processing of Animal Products (PPOA) of the Technical Course on Agri-Industries at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Para?ba ? Sousa Campus (former Federal Agrotechnical School of Sousa ?PB) to develop skills and build their knowledge in the preparation of a fermented sausage of salami-type with mutton, observing the kinetics of fermentation and ripening. The understanding of the concepts of microbial ecosystems, strategies and tools to control microbial growth in food bioprocessing was explored. The aim is learning by research, and through integration of research, development, production and technical education. Two groups of students were used (H4 and H5). The group H4 (24 students) was stimulated to inquiry and questioning, and also to expand the information received from the instructors by searching technical literature. The other group (H5, 12 students) was approached by the methodology traditionally applied in the school, an approach of "reproductive action" without encouraging them to inquiry, and without a discussion of the scientific basis of the applied biotechnology. Two types of fermented salami-type sausage were made: using pork and mutton and a referencial product made out of pork and beef. Both products were innoculated with starter culture (Pediococcus pentosaceus). Colour, taste, texture and acceptability were evaluated. All batches had good overall acceptability. The verification of the learning was monitored by applying, to both group of students, questionnaires before and after the activities. It was observed that the students involved in the research-based activities (group H4) have developed the learning and understanding required for the processing of fermented sausages well beyond a instrumental-only knowledge.

Al?m da familiariza??o com conceitos de ecossistemas, estrat?gias e ferramentas para o controle do crescimento microbiano no bioprocessamento de alimentos, objetiva-se o aprendizado, atrav?s do est?mulo ? pesquisa, integrando pesquisa, desenvolvimento e produ??o no ensino t?cnico. Foram utilizadas duas turmas, denominadas H4 e H5. A Turma H4 com 24 alunos foram estimulados a inquirir, questionar, e complementar as informa??es recebidas atrav?s da leitura e pesquisa bibliogr?fica. Enquanto que a Turma H5 com 12 alunos foi aplicada a metodologia tradicionalmente empregada na institui??o de ensino, numa abordagem de ?a??o reprodutiva?, sem estimul?-los a inquirir, e sem discorrer sobre as bases cient?ficas do processo biotecnol?gico empregado. Elaborou-se dois tipos de embutido fermentado tipo salame usando a carne su?na e ovina e outro com su?na e bovina, utilizando a cultura starter (Pediococcus pentosaceus) avaliando cor, sabor, consist?ncia e aceitabilidade. As amostras apresentaram boa aceitabilidade global. A verifica??o do aprendizado foi feita aplicando-se question?rio antes e ap?s o desenvolvimento da pesquisa nas duas turmas fazendo-se o acompanhamento e a compara??o do desempenho dos alunos nas etapas da pesquisa. Observou-se que os alunos envolvidos na pesquisa (turma H4) desenvolveram as compet?ncias necess?rias para o processamento do embutido fermentado tipo salame e tiveram a oportunidade de construir um conhecimento que foi al?m do simples fazer instrumental, mas do aprender.

The urgent problem, when solving the problem of what the application volume and structure of competence of pedagogue’s information and communication technology (ICT) would be, since the value of professional teaching and learning and pedagogues’ their apprentices abilities to successfully integrate to national and international job market depend on it.The work analyzes competence, as a part of professional competence, of college pedagogues in application of information and communication technologies (ICT). The informational society and culture as well as the requirements for the pedagogues’ ICT competence changes as changes the learning and teachning process for national training goals influenced by social and demografic factors. Full textThe present work reconstitutes the reform of the Professional Education of Technical Level regulated by decree 2.208/97 at Agrotécnica School of Cajueiro (EAC), UEPB Campus IV, located in municipality of Catolé do Rocha, PB. The mentioned reform, inserted in actual phase of productive reorganization of fund (1997 2006) returns to the traditional dualism, between Professional School and High School and institutes the curriculum by competences. Parting from decree 2.208/97, the assurance of competences by formation realized, estimates cadastre of establishments of teaching, which maintain professional courses, at MEC and CREA/PB. For certificate competences, the Technical Schools have started the process of reforms, relatively the organizations of teaching and curriculum. As long as member of functional board of the Agrotécnica School of Cajueiro, as teacher for more 25 years underwent this reform, in years 1999/2006. The climate tension caused by difficulties and problems faced in institutional quotidian, have instigated us to realization of this research. We have assumed, as object of investigation the (re)significance of the reform instituted by Decree 2.208/97, specifically, the study of the curriculum by competences. We have defined as objectives: to analyze the impacts of pedagogical reform implanted in the mentioned Institution and the implications of this reform in school dynamics and teaching work. For the theorical investigation, we have assumed critical boarding about the work (Marx and authors who reaffirm the centralization of work), about the reforms of the Professional Education in Brazil and the curriculum. For the methodological boarding, we have prioritized the analyzes of the speech, based in Bakhtin, by compatibility with the purposes of the study. The empiric research happened at Agrotécnica School of Cajueiro in the school year 2006. The subjects of research were the teachers and managers of Technical Course in Art and Science of Agriculture and cattle raising. As instrument of collect of data, we have utilized semistructured interviews and official documents, which have materialized the reform. Collected data have been systematized, through following categories: The administrative organization of reform and pedagogical organization. Produced synthesis reveal: Contradictions between legal devices of norms and the practice of changes; theorical inconsistencies, relatively the speech of competences and the implantation of same ones in the education; bureaucracy, disqualification and devaluation of the teaching work; besides the reinforcement of the contradiction fund-work. Beyond the synthesis, we have bet in the movement of the history and have kept the faith in human being and in the education while the fund has insisted in destroy them.
O presente trabalho reconstitui a reforma da Educação Profissional de Nível Técnico, regulamentada pelo Decreto 2.208/97, na Escola Agrotécnica do Cajueiro (E.A.C), UEPB Campus IV, localizada no município de Catolé do Rocha-PB. A referida reforma, contextualizada na atual fase de reorganização produtiva do capital (1997-2006), retorna a tradicional dualidade entre Ensino Profissionalizante e Ensino Médio e institui o currículo por competências. A partir do Decreto 2.208/97, a certificação de competências pela formação realizada, pressupõe cadastro dos estabelecimentos de ensino, que mantém cursos profissionalizantes, no MEC e no CREA/PB. Para certificar competências, as Escolas Técnicas iniciaram o processo de reformas, relativamente às organizações do ensino e do currículo. Enquanto integrante do quadro funcional da Escola Agrotécnica do Cajueiro, na qualidade de professora, há mais de 25 anos, vivenciamos essa reforma, no decorrer dos anos 1999-2006. O clima de tensão gerado pelas dificuldades e problemas enfrentados, no cotidiano institucional, nos instigou à realização desta pesquisa. Assumimos, como objeto de investigação a (re) significação da reforma instituída pelo Decreto 2.208/97, especificamente, o estudo do currículo por competências. Definimos como objetivos: analisar os impactos da reforma pedagógica implantada na referida Instituição e as implicações dessa reforma na dinâmica escolar e no trabalho docente. Para a investigação teórica, assumimos abordagens críticas sobre o trabalho (Marx e autores que reafirmam a centralidade do trabalho), sobre as reformas da Educação Profissional no Brasil e sobre o currículo. Para a abordagem metodológica, priorizamos a análise do discurso, fundamentada em Bakhtin, pela compatibilidade com os propósitos do estudo. A pesquisa empírica realizou-se na Escola Agrotécnica do Cajueiro, no decorrer do ano letivo de 2006. Os sujeitos da pesquisa foram os/as professores/as e gestores do Curso Técnico em Agropecuária. Como instrumentos de coleta dos dados, utilizamos entrevistas semi-estruturadas e documentos oficiais, que materializam a reforma. Os dados coletados foram sistematizados, através das seguintes categorias: a organização administrativa da reforma e a organização pedagógica. As sínteses produzidas revelam: distorções entre dispositivos legais/normativos e práticas reformistas; inconsistências teóricas, relativamente ao discurso das competências e à implantação das mesmas na educação; burocratização, desqualificação e desvalorização do trabalho docente; além de reforço à contradição capital-trabalho. Para além das sínteses, apostamos no movimento da história e mantemos a crença no ser humano e na educação, enquanto o capital insiste em destruí-los .

The government has counted there are many years ago with the growth of a workforce often determinative of the results of those organs in which it is inserted. Those are outsourced workers in a continuously way. They were present for consecutive years personally way and even in a functional way, these workers establish a bi-univocal and symbiotic relationship with those who surround them. It is not different at the Rural Federal University of Pernambuco (UFRPE), which has a significant contribution from the workers. This study intends to understand the correlation of concepts involved in the appropriation of knowledge of these workers in service and how this knowledge could be measured and formally recognized through a Certification System for their own knowledge. In the investigations that deal with the Certification by already developed habilities was found the concept of skills. To a better comprehension about the problem we sought to understand how this concept would be or not be useful in this purpose. Having established the possible conceptual space to work, it was intent in an exploratory research allied with case study, since the sample cut focused on workers of Vet UFRPE Hospital, the identification of a certification model that make the most of these workers. Among the methods studied, one has presented as the most appropriate, perhaps because it is more directed to the recognition of acquired skills and not necessarily intrinsic skills. The results, rather than allow the understanding of the elements involved in this relationship UFRPE / worker, brings to light the individual value of each one dedicated to the daily task of contributing to the objectives of the institution, in which they work with care and diligence, though not confirm the possibility and certify them the competences in terms of the study has show. However, it maintains that it can certify them the knowledge and skills gained in services in order to give them a formal qualifying title of his professional status.

Presentes por anos seguidos seja essa presen?a de forma pessoal ou at? mesmo funcional, esses trabalhadores estabelecem uma rela??o biun?voca e simbi?tica com seu entorno. N?o ? diferente na Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (UFRPE), que conta com uma significativa contribui??o deles. Este trabalho procurou compreender a correla??o de conceitos envolvidos na apropria??o do conhecimento desses trabalhadores em servi?o e como esses conhecimentos poderiam ser aferidos e reconhecidos formalmente, atrav?s de um Sistema de Certifica??o por seus conhecimentos. Nas investiga??es que tratam sobre o assunto da certifica??o por habilidades j? desenvolvidas encontrou-se o conceito de compet?ncias. Para melhor compreender o problema buscou-se entender como este conceito seria ou n?o ?til a este prop?sito. Estabelecido o espa?o conceitual poss?vel para se trabalhar, buscou-se numa pesquisa explorat?ria aliada ao estudo de caso, uma vez que o recorte amostral centrou-se nos trabalhadores do Hospital Veterin?rio da UFRPE, a identifica??o de um modelo de certifica??o que aproveitasse a esses trabalhadores. Dentre os m?todos estudados, um se apresentou como mais adequado, talvez porque seja mais direcionado ao reconhecimento de habilidades adquiridas e n?o necessariamente ? compet?ncias intr?nsecas. Full textThe aim of this research is to elaborate a professional profile of primary school music teachers in the region of Murcia. This thesis develops an analytical model of that professional profile based on multiple variables grouped in the Thought-Context-Action framework. Data are collected with a questionnaire. The voluntary response rate in this pioneer study in Murcia reached sixty per cent of the representative sample. The findings identify the strengths and weaknesses of such specialised group of music teachers. Some of the strengths are a high level of perceived self-confidence in their training and their teaching and music abilities as well as their professional commitment. The most significant weakness is the absence of collegiality. The thesis concludes with some proposals for the authorities responsible for education policy in the region of Murcia and suggestions for research topics to further the knowledge about primary school music teachers.

Full textThe psychomotricity discipline has increased its presence in education sphere for its important in the comprehensive development of children. The psychomotrician teacher has got a key role but it requires technicality, competences and specific training which make it complex to implement. This research aims to establish the competences that define the professional profile of the psychomotrician in education sphere and it also defines a system to assess them. A qualitative methodology has been used based on a triangulation between the methods of Grounded Theory and Action Research. And the results have been obtained using a theoretical and strategic sampling of the addressees of this study, and a triangulation of data which has use qualitative and quantitative instruments. Secondary sources have also been used, such as literature review, documentation and the preparation of the field and analysis logbook. The data analysis has followed the guidelines of systematic design of the methodology of the Grounded Theory which has enabled a categorization process which has determined the psychomotrician competences in education sphere and has specified a system to assessment them in order that it may promote his professional development. It shows the steps to follow to implement it (planning, development, verification and meta-evaluation), and it includes the proposal of the assessment instrument designed and a guide which defines all the competences, categories and indicators included, in order to help its implementation. It has been noticed that this assessment system is open and flexible to be adjust to characteristics and intentions of its application. At the end of this research, some future research guidelines have been proposed with the aim of checking the validity of the application of the developed assessment system. A research about its use by psychomotrician teachers has been proposed. And it is highlighted that a research has already started to analyze which are the key factors in teaching methodologies and assessment system to help in the acquisition of professional competences related to psychomotor education in early teacher training. The research ends up encouraging the psychomotricity professionals to join efforts to achieve this professional recognition and have a greater presence in the academic and scientific fields.

Full textA presente pesquisa tem como objetivo central investigar o conceito e os pressupostos da Pedagogia das CompetÃncias e como estes se articulam Ãs Escolas Estaduais de EducaÃÃo Profissional do CearÃ, destacando seus discursos e sua proposta curricular. A pesquisa adota um referencial crÃtico orientador da anÃlise sobre o objeto de estudo, localizando-o no contexto mais amplo do desenvolvimento capitalista. Compreendemos que a interlocuÃÃo com elementos conjunturais à fundamental para apreensÃo dos determinantes socioeconÃmicos e polÃticos que circundam nosso objeto. No que se refere à metodologia escolhida, considerando a necessidade de entender a totalidade e as contradiÃÃes dos fatos sociais, nos apoiamos no materialismo histÃrico-dialÃtico. Assim, nossa pesquisa à de natureza qualitativa, do tipo estudo de caso, com abordagem bibliogrÃfica, documental e de campo. No primeiro capÃtulo, tratamos de introduzir a pesquisa em seus aspectos mais gerais. No segundo, abordamos a EducaÃÃo Profissional no contexto da crise do capital e das transformaÃÃes produtivas. No terceiro capÃtulo, analisamos a Pedagogia das CompetÃncias e suas interfaces conceituais. Finalmente, no quarto e Ãltimo capÃtulo refletimos sobre as Escolas de EducaÃÃo Profissional da rede Estadual do Cearà e suas interfaces com a Pedagogia das CompetÃncias. Os resultados da pesquisa apontam que a Pedagogia das CompetÃncias mantÃm laÃos ajustados com o sistema de produÃÃo capitalista. Suas regras encontram-se fixadas no plano mais macro do capital que à o de formar/adestrar sujeitos com caracterÃsticas que convÃm ao ânovoâ mercado de trabalho, ou seja, homens e mulheres flexÃveis, altruÃstas, comportados, proativos, competitivos e resilientes. A Pedagogia das CompetÃncias intervÃm na subjetividade dos estudantes e no ensino profissional, isso fica muito evidente, haja vista a interferÃncia do meio empresarial na formaÃÃo direta dos alunos, bem como na integraÃÃo dos documentos. Nesse contexto desolador, percebemos que a educaÃÃo do Brasil continua sendo marcada pelo dualismo que consiste em uma educaÃÃo esteirada nos conhecimentos cientÃficos, artÃsticos e filosÃficos para os ricos e outra balizada na concreticidade imediata e no mercado de trabalho para a classe trabalhadora. No cenÃrio mediado pelas competÃncias os saberes destinam-se para poucos, enquanto que a maioria permanece excluÃda de obter nÃveis mais elevados dos conhecimentos sistematizados ao longo na histÃria da humanidade. A superaÃÃo desse cenÃrio antagÃnico a serviÃo do capital e mediado pelas competÃncias para o mercado se impÃe como condiÃÃo de emancipaÃÃo, implicando numa luta incessante pela construÃÃo de um novo modelo social e educacional baseado na justiÃa e na dignidade humana.

Full textComprehensive engineering education aiming at the development of soft competences has been called for by several sections of society, including professional boards, governmental bodies, educators, researchers and newly graduated professionals facing unexpected work market demands. Most schools of engineering, however, have not managed to deliver on this mission, as we can easily see by comparing the number calls for this mission with the number of effective institutional actions. This is in fact a great challenge that implies paradigm change and development of a new pedagogical project, as reported in several talks in engineering education congresses. Against this background, this dissertation investigates an extracurricular activity that can contribute to the development of some of the new competences required of engineers nowadays: The Career Management & Mentoring program developed since 2002 as a free service provided by Escola Politécnica (University of São Paulo) to senior students, newly graduated engineers and new professors. This extracurricular activity focuses on guiding and encouraging the students to reflect on and take attitude about such issues as employability, self-knowledge, competence development, vision of future, career project, job alternatives, and continued education. This sort of activity, still unusual in the engineering syllabuses in Brazil, can contribute significantly to the development of engineers with the profile required by several sections of society, including the job market. More specifically, this dissertation reports on three case studies involving educational experiments drawing on the above mentioned extracurricular activity and aims to answer the following research question: Which factors impact on the learning efficacy of extracurricular activities designed to prepare engineering students for a satisfactory transition from college to the professional world? Drawing on professional orientation theories and other related theoretical underpinnings as well as on a qualitative analysis of the three case studies, this study identifies several factors impacting on learning efficacy, herein gathered in the categories students, service structure, supporters, and environment. This thesis provides schools of engineering with a number of concepts, techniques, processes and learnt lessons that serve as reference for transversally introducing activities of this nature in related disciplines such as Introduction to Engineering, and Curricular Internship.

Full textThe reduction of maternal mortality is one of the health indicators whose main element is the quality of assistance to the delivery and birth. The International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) recommends abilities and skills required to provide quality nursing care during the whole pregnancy puerpera cycle. Aims: to characterize nursing professionals active in delivery care and analyze the key competences developed by these professionals. Methodology: This is a descriptive study, with a quantitative approach, accomplished in three maternity hospitals. The population studied was composed of 63 nursing professionals (28 nursing assistants, 22 nursing technicians, 8 obstetric nurses and 5 nurses). Through non participatory observation 92 deliveries were followed sequentially from admission to labor, childbirth and immediate post-delivery in the partaking institutions. Data analysis was done by descriptive statistics. Results: profile of nursing professionals: all professionals are female, average age of 38.1 years; 68.3% are married or living with a stable partner and the majority presents financial dependants; average 64.25 hours working week. We observed that the auscultation of BCF and vaginal touch are not properly performed, and the partograph is adopted in only one of the institutions. We have noted that the deliveries attended by obstetric nurses are recorded as medical procedure, contrary to the Brazilian legislation. Conclusion: We observed that there are differences in the quality of the provided nursing care in the institutions participating in this study. Therefore, we cannot state that the assistance provided in the municipality conforms the norms of the WHO and Ministry of Health regarding the quality of assistance. Many essential competences for labor and childbirth care are not developed. The institutions need incentive in order to implement actions based on updated evidence.

Full textThis study analyzes the competences developed by teachers throughout their pedagogical practice, considering that public schools have undergone transformations which led teachers to perform a new role as mediators between students and knowledge. Within this context, we sought to understand the meaning of teachers education, of teaching competences and of teachers knowledge present in their day-to-day educational practice. Though these competences and their application are discussed by teachers, the subject is open to several interpretations, and, as a result, it is controversial; particularly in respect to how these competences are developed within their pedagogical practice. Thus, we have not only analyzed these competences from technical, aesthetic, ethical and political dimensions, but also have pointed out the importance of human development in the school environment. Moreover, we have analyzed the pedagogical tendencies which have influenced and influence the Brazilian school system. This way, we can argue that education is the result of human interactions, either at school, or in society. But, though the legislation deems people s development as one of the pillars of education, the pedagogical practice reveals that teachers performance is based on a policy of results, oriented to rationally firm and well-defined actions, the end of which is essentially economic; however, its role goes far beyond. As we understand, the school system can not be limited to the demands of the labor market, since, without a doubt, it is essential to men s survival, but it must head towards that which is beautiful, aesthetic, ethical and political.
Esta pesquisa analisa as competências que se desenvolvem na prática pedagógica do trabalho docente, tendo como referência as transformações ocorridas na escola pública e que atualmente conferem às professoras e aos professores o papel de mediador entre o aluno e o conhecimento. Nesse contexto, buscamos compreender os significados da formação, das competências e dos saberes docentes no cotidiano educacional. Embora as considerações sobre as competências e sua utilização estejam presentes nas discussões entre os docentes, o termo demanda várias interpretações e por isso ainda causa muita polêmica, principalmente sobre o modo como essas competências são desenvolvidas na prática pedagógica. Por isso, analisamos as competências em suas várias dimensões técnica, estética, ética e política , assim como procuramos apontar a importância da formação humana no espaço escolar. Realizamos também uma análise sobre as tendências pedagógicas que influenciaram e que ainda influenciam a escola brasileira. Dessa forma, podemos afirmar que a educação é fruto das interações humanas, seja no universo escolar, seja nas demandas da sociedade. Contudo, embora a legislação considere a formação da pessoa como um dos pilares educacionais, a prática escolar revela que a atuação do docente está pautada em uma política de resultados, voltada para ações racionalmente pensadas e planejadas, cujo fim é essencialmente o econômico, quando não é só esse o seu papel. Entendemos que a escola não pode se restringir às necessidades do mercado de trabalho sem dúvida alguma primordial para a sobrevivência do homem. Ela deve alçar outros vôos também em direção ao belo, ao estético, ao ético e ao político.

A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo central investigar o conceito e os pressupostos da Pedagogia das Competências e como estes se articulam às Escolas Estaduais de Educação Profissional do Ceará, destacando seus discursos e sua proposta curricular. A pesquisa adota um referencial crítico orientador da análise sobre o objeto de estudo, localizando-o no contexto mais amplo do desenvolvimento capitalista. Compreendemos que a interlocução com elementos conjunturais é fundamental para apreensão dos determinantes socioeconômicos e políticos que circundam nosso objeto. No que se refere à metodologia escolhida, considerando a necessidade de entender a totalidade e as contradições dos fatos sociais, nos apoiamos no materialismo histórico-dialético. Assim, nossa pesquisa é de natureza qualitativa, do tipo estudo de caso, com abordagem bibliográfica, documental e de campo. No primeiro capítulo, tratamos de introduzir a pesquisa em seus aspectos mais gerais. No segundo, abordamos a Educação Profissional no contexto da crise do capital e das transformações produtivas. No terceiro capítulo, analisamos a Pedagogia das Competências e suas interfaces conceituais. Finalmente, no quarto e último capítulo refletimos sobre as Escolas de Educação Profissional da rede Estadual do Ceará e suas interfaces com a Pedagogia das Competências. Os resultados da pesquisa apontam que a Pedagogia das Competências mantém laços ajustados com o sistema de produção capitalista. Suas regras encontram-se fixadas no plano mais macro do capital que é o de formar/adestrar sujeitos com características que convém ao “novo” mercado de trabalho, ou seja, homens e mulheres flexíveis, altruístas, comportados, proativos, competitivos e resilientes. A Pedagogia das Competências intervém na subjetividade dos estudantes e no ensino profissional, isso fica muito evidente, haja vista a interferência do meio empresarial na formação direta dos alunos, bem como na integração dos documentos. Nesse contexto desolador, percebemos que a educação do Brasil continua sendo marcada pelo dualismo que consiste em uma educação esteirada nos conhecimentos científicos, artísticos e filosóficos para os ricos e outra balizada na concreticidade imediata e no mercado de trabalho para a classe trabalhadora. No cenário mediado pelas competências os saberes destinam-se para poucos, enquanto que a maioria permanece excluída de obter níveis mais elevados dos conhecimentos sistematizados ao longo na história da humanidade. Full textFace à atual conjuntura económica, financeira e social, as organizações desportivas passaram a viver num clima de elevadas adversidades e mudanças, em que, numa luta constante pelos sucessos desportivos, apenas uma equipa pode ganhar. Neste sentido, este projeto visa promover a continuidade de trabalho desenvolvido pelo Grupo Benfica no que se refere ao desenvolvimento da sua estrutura profissional, adotando um modelo de gestão por competências capaz de desenvolver e manter os seus colaboradores competitivos. Com um grande enfoque no modelo de gestão por competências proposto por Varão e Vieira (Varão e Vieira, 2007), que se encontra detalhado na revisão da literatura, foi planeado um novo modelo para o Grupo Benfica, que se resume nas seguintes fases: identificação das competências transversais da organização; identificação das competências específicas de cada família funcional; operacionalização das competências; elaboração dos perfis individuais de competências e alinhamento com duas práticas de recursos humanos: recrutamento e seleção e avaliação de desempenho. De forma a evidenciar e clarificar a utilidade deste modelo, demonstrou-se a sua aplicabilidade na Direção de Comunicação Externa. Com o planeamento, desenvolvimento e aplicabilidade do modelo em causa, foi possível materializar de que forma o Grupo Benfica pode implementar um modelo de gestão por competências e identificar, através de uma análise critica, os fatores que carecem de melhorias ou reestruturação nas práticas de recrutamento e seleção e avaliação de desempenho, atualmente em vigor.
Given the current economic, financial and social situation, sports organizations have come to live in an atmosphere of high adversity, changes and constant struggle for success, where only one team can win. Thus, this project aims to promote the continuity of work for Grupo Benfica in regards to the development of their professional structure, adopting a management competency model able to develop and maintain their competitive employees. With a strong focus on management competency model proposed by Varão e Vieira (Varão e Vieira, 2007), which is detailed in the literature review, a new model was planned for the Grupo Benfica. Identifying the specific competences of each functional family, operationalizing of competences, preparation of individual competences profile and alignment with two practices of human resources: recruitment and selection and performance appraisal were the main objectives of the new model. In order to highlight and clarify its usefulness, it was demonstrated its applicability in Direção de Comunicação Externa. With the planning, development and applicability of the model in question, it was possible to materialize how the Grupo Benfica can implement a management competency model and identify, through a critical analysis, the factors that need to be improved or restructured in recruitment and selection and performance appraisal practices currently in effect.

Full textThe doctoral thesis “A New Model of Professional Development of Business English Teachers in Serbia: Theoretical, Methodological and Practical Aspects” deals with the professional development of Business English Teachers in Serbia. It aims at introducing teachers and other interested parties from the field of education with current research and trends in teaching practice regarding Business English and professional development of teachers. Taking into account the current state of these two fields in Serbia, the author also proposes a new model of professional development of Business English teachers, which draws on contemporary views of the process of professional development and also meets the needs and fits the working environment of the teachers.Following the introductory chapter, which offers the description of the aims, methods and techniques employed in this research, the overview of relevant literature as well as the thesis structure, the next four chapters represent a theoretical framework within which the research has been undertaken. The second chapter introduces the main concepts related to the language for specific purposes and Business English, shows the development of these two fields, draws similarities and explores differences between Business English and General English.The third chapter provides a description of the teacher profile within the Business English context. Based on findings in the literature, the author describes Business English teacher roles and competences in terms of knowledge of the specialist subject, needs analysis, course design, material selection and production, and evaluation.The fourth chapter addresses the teacher profile within the contemporary understanding of the teaching practice in general. It shows the development of the concept of teaching knowledge and presents a framework of teacher competences that has been created within the educational system in Serbia. At the end of the chapter, the author briefly touches upon the subject of personality features of successful and competent teachers.The fifth chapter outlines the main concepts and features of the field of teachers’ professional development and particularly focuses on the professional development of Business English teachers. It then proceeds with a description of the current situation in Serbia regarding learning and teaching Business English, as well as that of professional development of Business English teachers.The sixth chapter offers a thorough description of the organization and results of the empirical research conducted with Business English teachers and students in Serbia during 2014 and 2015. By employing a survey and an interview as research instruments, the teachers gave an insight into their attitudes, views, needs and expectations regarding professional development, and the students revealed their needs and expectations regarding Business English classes, teacher roles and competences. The findings have been analysed in detail and interpreted within the framework of contemporary teaching theory and practice.The seventh chapter presents the general conclusions that have been drawn from the empirical research and contains the author’s proposal of the model of professional development of Business English teachers in Serbia.

Full textKnowledge in art becomes more and more relevant in the training of future hairdressers. Unfortunately, there are very few theoretical points of reference available in designing curricula programmes for this profession and looking for the methods of organising creative work. It is very important to train not only educated people, but also creative ones, able to discuss and doubt, think critically and broad-mindedly, adapt to ongoing changes, impact by new ideas or works, and to enrich mental and material world of other people. The thesis for the master’s degree analyses the peculiarities, objectives, development and typology of artistic and visual expressions. The purpose of the thesis is to unfold the meaning of visual and artistic expression in the training of future hairdressers. The research object is artistic and visual expression of students of hairstyle design. The research hypothesis: knowledge of fundamental principles of composition-making, measures of artistic and visual expression and combinations thereof as well as principles of creative application contribute to better visual expression of future hairdressers. This study deals with cognitive competences and abilities that are relevant to selection and education regarding Information Technology (IT). These competences relate to problem solving, decision making, and practical intelligence that regard scholar and extracurricular knowledge mobilization. The research aimed to contribute for the improvement of a selection instrument, consisting of five arrays of skills (dealing with objectives and prospection), as well as the development and comprehension of those skills that are involved in IT education. This is done by means of an analysis on the selection instrument used in the first selective process that occurred at Metropole Digital an Institute at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte in Brazil. This was evaluated aiming to acknowledge IT education (with basic training and emphasis on Web programming and electronics). The methodology used was of quantitative method involving performance scores relating education delivery. An Anova analysis of variance was done along with descriptive analysis involving socioeconomic data that was not observed in the meaningful relations between parental instruction and student performance in the graduate course. These analyses were able to point out the importance and need of the policies for vacancy reservation on behalf of public school students. A Spearman correlation analysis was done considering the instrument selection performance in the training course. The instrument is presented as a predictor that is significantly moderate and presents a good performance in the course as a whole. A Cluster and Regression analysis was also realized in the process. The first analysis allowed finding performance groups (Clusters) that ranged from medium and inferior. The regression analysis was able to point out association amongst criterion variables and the (average performance in basic and advanced modules) and explanatory (five matrixes). Regression analysis indicated that matrix 1 and matrix 3 were pointed out as being the strongest ones. In all the above analysis, the correlation between the instrument and the course was considered moderate. Thus this can be related in some of the aspects present in the course such as emphasis on evaluation itself as well as in technical contents and practical skills (educational ones) and competences and selection skills. It is known that the mediation of technological artifact in cultural context can foster the development of skills and abilities relevant to IT training. This study provides subsidies to reflect on the adoption of selection instrument and IT training in the Institute. Thus the research offers means to achieve a interdisciplinary discussion and enriching of areas such as Psychology and Information Technology; all of which regarding competencies and skills relevant in IT training
Este estudo volta-se para as compet?ncias e habilidades cognitivas relevantes para a sele??o e forma??o em Tecnologias da Informa??o (TI). Essas se caracterizam pela resolu??o de problemas, tomadas de decis?es e por uma intelig?ncia pr?tica, que se configura na capacidade de mobilizar conhecimentos escolares e extraescolares. Objetivou-se contribuir para o aperfei?oamento do instrumento de sele??o, composto por cinco matrizes de compet?ncias (com o objetivo de prospec??o), e desenvolvimento da compreens?o daquelas matrizes envolvidas na forma??o em TI, por meio da an?lise do instrumento de sele??o proposto e usado para o primeiro processo seletivo do projeto Metr?pole Digital (MD) e sua rela??o com o curso de forma??o em TI (forma??o b?sica, com ?nfases em programa??o Web e Eletr?nica). Ao considerar os desempenhos no instrumento de sele??o e no curso de forma??o, realizou-se uma an?lise de correla??o de Spearman, da qual pode-se concluir que o instrumento se apresentou como um preditor significativamente moderado de bom desempenho no curso. Tamb?m foram realizadas an?lises de Cluster e de Regress?o. A primeira an?lise permitiu encontrar dois grupos de desempenho: m?dio e inferior; a segunda evidenciou associa??o entre as vari?veis de crit?rio (m?dia do desempenho nos m?dulos b?sico e avan?ado) e explicativas (as cinco matrizes). Full textWith the "Hospital, Patients, Health and Territories" (HPST) Act of 2009, the Evaluation of Professional Practices (EPP) has supplemented the continuing education program. It has since become important to question the contribution of the evaluation of professional practices in Continuing Professional Development (CPD), particularly in the field of Dentistry. However answering this question requires us to define continuing professional development. This research tackles two complementary aspects: first, the theoretical and pedagogical implications behind the Evaluation of Professional Practices in dentistry in a continuing professional development perspective; - and, second, the ethical issues implied in the construction of educational projects. The 2009 legislation considers professional development as a training mechanism. In educational research, however, professional development is understood as part of building the identity and skills set of the professional, whereas expected skills and reflective practices are linked to the movement of professionalization in health education. In theoretical and political debates, the notion of evaluation is overlooked or restrained to the "professional act", as well as any reflection on the ethical dimension of the evaluation procedures during the process of professionalization. The lack of established theoretical frameworks has led to an inductive type of research: a theoretical part based on analysis of theoretical writings, and an exploratory component among education officials in charge of initial and continuing education in dentistry. The synthesis of these two parts, beyond the opposition of theory and practice, suggests that a fresh look is needed in relation to the evaluation of professional practices and reflective practice, and puts the complexity of the process of questioning the professional action at the heart of the exercise of medical normativity

Full textIn the organizational environment, this study approaches competences and learning from the resources perspective (Resources Based View). However, in spite of the several studies already done on learning, many challenges are still being discussed. Even though there is not a theory or model widely accepted (FIOL; LYLES, 1985), there are points of consensus in the literature. Among them: the one which states that organizational learning is essential for the comprehension of how organizations develop along time. The discussion on knowledge is a main issue as far as the debate on learning is concerned. Organizational learning, as a lens (PRANGE, 2001) allows us to approach the appropriation of knowledge by the organization. Yet, learning involves more than the creation of individual knowledge, including its utilization and institutionalization in the organization. The result of organizational learning is the acquisition of a new competence: an ability to apply new knowledge to improve the performance of a present or future activity. Therefore, the assumption that competences are related to organizational learning is implied in this work. Despite the fact that some authors have shown that there is a relationship between competences and learning, few empirical studies bring evidences that support it. In an attempt to overcome this challenge, this work was aimed at analyzing the organizational learning processes which occurred in two Higher Education Institutions following the offer of Higher Education Technological Courses and its respective demand by determined organizational competences (either new or not). The sector of professional education was chosen to hold the case studies. The theoretical construction has attempted to articulate conceptual elements inherent to the competences and organizational learning categories. I have realized that to advance in the knowledge of the themes it was necessary to correlate them with change and circulation of knowledge in the organizational level. The deconstruction of the competences developed by the Higher Education Institutions was the path I have found to unveil the learning processes as well as to verify the convergence between the concepts. As for the methodology, the nature of the research was exploratory, with a qualitative approach, multiple case study method and longitudinal time perspective. The data analysis has shown that the knowledge generated has been incorporated up to the extent of building the common sense of the members of the organizations studied, that is, it was institutionalized. The changes which occurred in the resources articulation were significant, involving changes even in the organizational values. Such facts have made us realize that learning has happened in the organizational level. Some competences developed before the events of implantation of the new courses were maintained while others were constructed. The offer of Higher Education Technological Courses was stabilized and incorporated to the future plans of the organization, showing that practices and routines have become a stable pattern. Institutional and organizational culture theories have been evoked to support such analysis. In the last chapter, I have summarized the main findings of the research. Also, some future researches in this field are suggested. Thus, I believe that there has been an effective contribution to the theory concerning organizational learning in Brazil, which has been supported by empirical research.

Esta dissertação tem como objeto a preservação de acervos científicos digitais pertencentes às bibliotecas universitárias do Sistema de Bibliotecas e Informação da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro SIBI/UFRJ. A pesquisa realizada apresentou os dados consolidados em relação aos acervos das bibliotecas universitárias pertencentes ao sistema, a utilização dos livros eletrônicos dentro da universidade e a preservação digital realizada através da implementação de uma política de preservação digital pertencente ao repositório PANTHEON da UFRJ. A metodologia utilizada foi de cunho exploratório e descritivo procurou identificar as possíveis ações, programas, normas e competências necessárias voltados para a preservação digital no Brasil. Foram analisadas iniciativas importantes em preservação digital no Brasil como a Rede Cariniana/IBICT; a Iniciativa Legatum – projeto do Grupo de pesquisas CRIDI - Cultura, Representação e Informação Digitais; Câmara Técnica de Documentos Eletrônicos (CTDE), subordinada ao Conselho Nacional de Arquivos (CONARQ); Repositório PANTHEON / UFRJ e refletindo-se sobre as relações interdisciplinares entre arquivos e bibliotecas. Ao fim conclui-se que o SIBI está engajado em ações de preservação digital através da implementação do seu repositório institucional possibilitando a preservação de seus acervos científicos e seguindo as normas e padrões nacionais e internacionais que garantem a acessibilidade, integridade, confiabilidade e disseminação da informação.
This dissertation is focused on the preservation of scientific digital collections which belong to the university libraries and information system (Sistema de Bibliotecas e Informação) of Rio de Janeiro’s Federal University (Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro) SIBI/UFRJ. The research provided consolidated data related to the university’s libraries which integrate the system, the use of electronic books in universities and digital preservation through the implementation of a policy focused on the PANTHEON repository of UFRJ. The methodology used was an exploratory and descriptive research that intended to identify possible actions, programs, norms and necessary competences related to the digital preservation in Brazil. We analysed some significant iniciatives such as: Rede Cariniana/IBICT; Iniciativa Legatum – a research project from Grupo de pesquisas CRIDI - Cultura, Representação e Informação Digitais; Câmara Técnica de Documentos Eletrônicos (CTDE), subordinated to the National Council of Archives (Conselho Nacional de Arquivos - CONARQ); PANTHEON / UFRJ Repository (Repositório PANTHEON / UFRJ) and reflecting on interdisciplinary relationships between archives and libraries. In the end we concluded that SIBI is taking part in actions to digitally preserve collections through the implementation of its institutional repository that enables the preservation of its scientific collections, according to norms and standards, both national and international which guarantee the accessibility, integrity, reliability and information propagation.

Full textEsta investigação foi realizada em uma Faculdade de Medicina que tem uma concepção pedagógica híbrida, com a Aprendizagem Baseada em Problemas (ABP) orientando o processo ensino-aprendizagem e a Concepção Crítico-Reflexiva guiando a Unidade de Práticas Profissionais. Esta instituição trabalha com currículo por competências utilizando a avaliação critério-referenciada. O Exercício de Avaliação da Prática Profissional (EAPP) se realiza no final do ano letivo, em cenário simulado, com caráter somativo, fazendo parte da avaliação do estudante do quarto ano do Curso de Medicina, em conjunto com o Exercício de Avaliação Cognitiva (EAC) e o Portfólio Reflexivo. O instrumento de avaliação utilizado no EAPP é o Formato de Observação do Desempenho do Estudante (F6), onde são identificadas as necessidades de saúde das pessoas por meio de tarefas. Em nossa investigação objetivamos verificar a replicabilidade e homogeneidade em relação ao preenchimento do F6 no EAPP, em três grupos de professores colaboradores da instituição de ensino superior. Para tal realizamos duas filmagens, cada qual com duração aproximada de 20 minutos, no final do ano letivo de 2006, quando duas estudantes foram submetidas ao EAPP. O primeiro vídeo foi avaliado por meio de escala de desempenhos por professores assistenciais do Programa de Saúde da Família (PSF), das Unidades Básicas de Saúde (UBS) e docentes da instituição, no início do ano letivo de 2007. Após um semestre de reflexões com o grupo de professores, com utilização de metodologias ativas de aprendizagem em reuniões quinzenais de Educação Permanente (EP), percebemos na nova exibição do primeiro vídeo, no grupo de professores do PSF a adoção de uma forma mais homogênea de avaliar os estudantes, expressa por uma maior convergência de conceitos no preenchimento do F6 que se manteve homogênea na exposição...
This research was carried out in a Medical School with a hybrid pedagogical concept: Problem Based Learning (PBL) guides teaching-learning, and Critical- Reflexive Conception guides the Professional Practices Unit. This school works with competences curriculum and uses criterium evaluation. The Exercise of Professional Practical Evaluation (EPPE) takes place in the end of the academic year in a simulated scenario; it is somative and is part of the student’s evaluation in the fourth grade of the medical course together with the Exercise of Cognitive Evaluation (ECE) and the Reflexive Portfolio. The evaluation tool used in EPPE is the Student’s Performance Observation Format (F6) in which there are identified people’s health necessities by means of tasks. This research aims at verifying the replicability and homogeneity of F6 filling out in EPPE in three groups of university teachers. Two videos were made in the end of 2006; each one last 20 minutes approximately and the subject was two students being submitted to EPPE.The first video was evaluated through the performances scale by assistance teachers of the Family Health Program, of the Health Centers and by university teachers in the beginning of 2007. The author organized Permanent Education meetings with these teachers to discuss active learning methodologies at fifteen day intervals for one semester. Then the first video was showed again. The students were evaluated by the Family Health Program teachers more homogeneously: the concepts in F6 filling out were more convergent. The same happened with the second video with the concepts NA (non applicable), I (unsatisfactory) and S (satisfactory). This situation did not occur with the other groups analysed.

Resumo: Este trabalho reflete uma inquietação que surge da observação de um cenário onde a filosofia de concepção, manufatura, colocação no mercado e atualização e ou modificações de produtos nos diversos ramos da indústria, cada vez mais, ocorrem dentro de um ciclo realizado no universo digital, antecedendo quaisquer investimentos em máquinas, equipamentos ou infraestrutura. Esta inquietação traz o questionamento de como a educação profissional no país está se mobilizando para atender a demanda de profissionais que atuem neste entrelaçamento de softwares e sistemas que executam montagens, simulações e gerenciamento de dados de engenharia dentro deste universo digital. Assim coloca-se neste trabalho uma Proposta Metodológica para o Ensino Tecnológico na Manufatura Digital-PLM, fundamentada na Metodologia de Ensino por Competências, abrangendo o aspecto tecnológico e o pedagógico, assim como os conceitos de Manufatura Digital, Gerenciamento do Ciclo de Vida do Produto - Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Projetos Colaborativos e os benefícios destas tecnologias e metodologias, como uma opção para dar conta do desafio a ser transposto pelas instituições dedicadas à educação profissional, no sentido de suprir o mercado de trabalho com esta mão de obra especializada, contribuindo para o desenvolvimento do país
Abstract: The creation, production, updating or modification, and marketing of different industrial products take place in a digital universe which precedes any investment in machinery, equipment or infrastructure. This project focuses on the professional education challenge to produce consistent scientific and up-to-date technically competent professionals, who can fulfill the demand created by the aforementioned stages of industrial product development. It also examines the ways in which the country's professional education system can mobilize itself in order to meet the demand for professionals who can work in the network of software and systems, that assemble, simulate, and manage engineering data within this digital universe. The project presents concepts on digital manufacturing, product lifecycle management-PLM, the benefits of such technologies and show a Methodological Proposal Based on Skills, it focuses in Digital Manufacturing-PLM, using on considerations about the professional formation teaching methods, as well as the challenge to be overcome by those institutions dedicated to the country's professional education, in order to satisfy the skill trade market demand, thus contributing to its development

Full textThe development of this research focuses on the questions related to the nursing education, specifically related to the formation of a nurse\'s managerial competences. The objectives of this study are: (i) to identify the managerial competences proposed at the plans of education of disciplines that contains administration in nursing, recognizing the relationship between a Pedagogic-Politics Project (PPP) and the profile of the National Curricular Guidelines; (ii) to analyze the PPP of a nursing school towards the expectations of nursing services´ managers; (iii) to discuss the convergences and divergences of the work environment expectations towards the managerial competences and those prioritized at nursing school. The theoretical sustentation recouped concepts of competences in the context of general administration and education, promoting reflection and discussion about education and health politics in Brazil, as a determinative of models of formation in nursing and the education of Administration in Nursing. As a descriptive-exploratory research divided into three stages: documentary analysis of a PPP; analysis of the interviews carried out at by eleven representative nursing managers in Curitiba city, Brazil; and hermeneutics-dialectic interpretation of the managerial competences requested in the scopes of the education and work. The analysis and interpretation of the data had been subsidized into two distinct categories. The first is composed by the following analytical categories: totality, praxis, history, and dynamics. The second is composed into the following empirical categories demanded by the interviewed professionals: profile of the nurse; expectations of nursing managers; and management knowledge. The interpretative analysis was guided by: structural dimension that encloses health and education politics; the particular dimension, represented by nursing school; and the singular dimension,pertinent to the scope of the education in nursing administration. The results point out the necessity to approximate the nursing market of work and its formation in order to expand managerial nurses competences beyond the technical dimension, embracing the communicative, ethical, political and citizenship development dimensions.

The empirical research has been conducted with three student classes. The theoretical basis and the operationalisation of the research question have thus emerged as the research was being developed. The gathered corpus is varied (logbooks, professional writings, community blogs, collective interviews). O secretÃrio, inserido neste contexto, merece atenÃÃo especial, por ser um profissional de extrema importÃncia dentro das organizaÃÃes, mas que, no passado, sofreu preconceitos por desempenhar atividades simples e rotineiras, conhecidas e tidas como sendo tÃpicas do universo feminino. Dessa forma, o objetivo geral desta pesquisa foi investigar como tem sido desenvolvida a formaÃÃo do secretÃrio executivo na Universidade Federal do Cearà (UFC), frente Ãs transformaÃÃes da sociedade contemporÃnea, e se a referida formaÃÃo conduz à construÃÃo de um sujeito autÃnomo. Os objetivos especÃficos foram descrever quais as demandas, em termos de competÃncias e habilidades do secretÃrio, que o mundo do trabalho requer, analisando a concepÃÃo que o profissional tem do seu papel, da sua autonomia e do seu trabalho no mundo contemporÃneo. Para dar suporte ao estudo pretendido, recorreu-se aos assuntos sobre CurrÃculo, Autonomia, Cidadania, FormaÃÃo Profissional, CompetÃncias e Habilidades profissionais, Diretrizes Curriculares, entre outros. Como procedimento metodolÃgico, esta pesquisa, quanto aos seus objetivos, à de natureza descritiva e quanto aos procedimentos tÃcnicos adotados para a coleta de dados, bibliogrÃfica, documental e de campo, utilizando-se do questionÃrio e da entrevista; realizou-se ainda estudo profundo acerca da formaÃÃo do secretÃrio executivo formado pela UFC, de maneira a que permitisse seu amplo e detalhado conhecimento. Os participantes foram os estudantes ingressantes, os concludentes, os professores, os egressos do Curso e os dirigentes de empresas/organizaÃÃes nas quais houvesse o cargo de secretÃrio executivo. Concluiu-se que a formaÃÃo profissional tem sido mais direcionada para o mercado de trabalho e, por isso, questiona-se a construÃÃo do sujeito autÃnomo, porque a autonomia Ã, na verdade, bastante limitada, tendo em vista que o poder de decisÃo ocorre dentro da Ãrea de atuaÃÃo do secretÃrio, nÃo participando este das decisÃes estratÃgicas. As competÃncias e habilidades estÃo relacionadas com atividades como assessorar, administrar o tempo, liderar, gerir, desenvolver atividades de apoio Ãs decisÃes, mas ainda sÃo executadas atividades tradicionais: preparar a agenda do chefe e servir cafezinho. Os profissionais cumprem o papel de assessores, consideram-se importantes dentro das organizaÃÃes, mas demonstram receio de perder o emprego. Constatou-se, ainda, a necessidade de os estudantes promoverem a divulgaÃÃo do Curso de graduaÃÃo, bem como de os profissionais secretÃrios se engajarem no fortalecimento do Sindicato da categoria, reivindicando melhorias para o exercÃcio da profissÃo com autonomia e exercÃcio da cidadania.
Nowadays, a dynamic motion is in all around. It is required, from people and organizations, efforts that bring alternatives for living together with technological changes: both economic and social ones, in all fields of knowledge, specially in Education. So, people who bring up people need to make an upgrade of their educational practices, over and over thinking about institutions syllabus, in order to promote professionals and society development, in general. The secretary, inserted in this context, deserves special attention, for being somebody of extreme importance at the part, suffered prejudices by doing simple and daily activities, known as being typical of feminine universe. This way, the general aim of this research was to investigate how the secretaryâs formation has been developed at the Federal University of Cearà (UFC), in relation to transformations lived by the contemporaneous society and if this very formation conducts to the construction of an autonomous person. The specific aims were related to describe what would be the demands, in terms of competence and habilities, showed by that secretary that the global work requires, analyzing the concept this professional has about his own role, his autonomy and his performance today. For giving a support to this study, it was turned to the matters about Syllabus, Autonomy, Citizenship, Professional formation, Competences and Habilities, Syllabus Directions, among other ones. As a methodological proceeding, this research was, concerning on its aims, descriptive and also bibliographic, documental and a field one, making use of interview and a questionnaire too, and accomplishing a deep study about the executive secretaryâs formation graduated by UFC, permitting a whole and detailed knowledge about him. Admitted and seniors students, as well as professors and former students, besides companies/organizations directors, in short, everywhere existed the post of executive secretary. It was concluded that the professional formation has been directed to the work market and because of this it is quested the autonomous person arising, being this autonomy very restricted, provided that the decision power occurs in the secretaryâs area of actuation and he is not a real participant of the strategic decisions. Competences and habilities are related to activities like to advise, administrate the chronology, being a leader, direct, develop support activities for decisions, but also doing traditional tasks as prepare the boss note book and serve coffee. They staff workers, consider themselves important at the organizations, but show they are afraid of loosing the job. It was proved the necessity of students promote the graduation course spreading as well as the professional secretaries to engage in a movement of strengthen of their syndicate, requiring improvements for their professions as autonomy and the citizenship exercising.

Full textGlobalization challenges and the development of social and educational policies, which follow from the European construction and its repositioning, have definitely added to the transformation of education systems. These new circumstances lead the educational systems to be confronted with new challenges and to cope with the increasing complexity of the already existing issues. These problems have lead to finding new answers (Pires, 2002). Throughout the enhancement of the population’s professional skills, acquired in non-formal and informal contexts, during their personal, social and professional paths, the main purpose of the above mentioned process is to contribute to the increase of qualification levels of the population, as well as to offer a new training opportunity for those who have not completed or have prematurely abandoned schooling in the formal education systems. The current research aims at portraying a specific reality within systems of Education and Adult Training, more specifically to understand in what way the processes of recognition, validation and certification of competences are organised in the area of Service for Children and Youth; and to assess to what extent the list of professional competences of this process are adequate to perform this function. Bearing this purpose in mind, we focused on a qualitative methodology, which features the contribution of the participants while undergoing the process and which stresses their verbal skills, and observation of activities and documental analysis as well. According to the survey, it became clear, on the one hand, the need to (re) adjust the list of professional competences in the area of Service for Children and Youth in order to perform the function, and consequently, the tools used for the processes of recognition, validation and certification of skills. On the other hand, we point out all the potential of the process for adults, in what relates to their self-accomplishment, confidence and incitement for learning and qualification throughout life.

The purpose of this study was to explore the professional competence and beliefs of pre-school educators . The research methods adopted questionnaires by means of descriptive statistics, variance analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis to measure the relationship between their professional beliefs and competence of pre-school educators in Kaohsiung City. The results are, 1. It is center-right on the four-point scale of the average about the professional competence and belies of Pre-school educators’. 2. There has significant difference with the professional competence because of their age, marriage, education, and their position. 3. There has significant difference with the professional beliefs because of their age, marriage, education, and their position. 4. There have significant prediction in every dimension of pre-school educator professional competence and belief.
