Front‐lit LCOS systems with a single LED light source often struggle to deliver the high brightness levels required for various AR applications. A new front‐lit LCOS architecture, enhanced by a dual LED light source, addresses these limitations. The dual LED configuration doubles the system tendue, improving efficiency by 50%. It is compact (<0.5 cc), lightweight (<2 g). This system can deliver over 1.7 lm at 300 mW LED power with a resolution of 1024x1024. Abstract With the growing variety, complexity and market share of 3D packaged devices, package level FA is also facing new challenges and higher demand. This paper presents Lock-In Thermography (LIT) for fully non-destructive 3D defect localization of electrical active defects. After a short introduction of the basic LIT theory, two slightly different approaches of LIT based 3D localization will be discussed based on two case studies. The first approach relies on package internal reference heat sources (e.g. I/O-diodes) on different die levels. The second approach makes use of calibrated 3D si

Abstract Fault localization is a common failure analysis process that is used to detect the anomaly on a faulty device. The Infrared Lock-In Thermography (LIT) is one of the localization techniques which can be used on the packaged chips for identifying the heat source which is a result of active damage. This paper extends the idea that the LIT analysis for fault localization is not only limited to the devices within the silicon die but it also highlights thermal failure indications of other components on the PCB (like capacitors, FETs etc on a system level DC-DC μmodule). One major source of this suboptimal business performance stems from underleveraging key Systems Engineering and Design Engineering principles in the early phases of the design process. <div class="section abstract"><div class="htmlview paragraph">Advancements in electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft have generated significant interest within and beyond the traditional aviation industry. One particularly promising application involves on-demand, rapid-response use cases to broaden first responders, police, and medical transport mission capabilities. With the dynamic and varying public service operations, eVTOL aircraft can offer potentially cost-effective aerial mobility components to the overall solution, including significant lifesaving benefits

<div class="section abstract"><div class="htmlview paragraph">This report explores the move from traditional industry practices to emerging technologies, specifically the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions in engineering service sectors. It highlights the increasing problem of “technology washing,” when organizations overstate (sometimes deceivingly) their technology abilities and ethics, posing challenges to accountability, transparency, and trust in various fields. Abstract:
river Availability Monitoring Systems (DAMS) for Automated Driving Systems (ADS) (SAE Level 3 and 4) are an integral measure to ensure road safety. A DAMS system must ensure that the driver is available, ready, willing and able to take back control of the vehicle from automated mode safely. The aim of this study was to suggest as many of the DAMS system requirements as feasible and finalise the preliminary list of items that should be covered by requirements and tests in the future DAMS technical annex.
