The main purpose of this article is to present the role and position of partners in a limited partnership. The growing interest in choosing this organizational and legal form is due to its specificity. A limited partnership allows shaping the rights and obligations of the company’s partners, who are divided into two groups: general partners and limited partners. The reason for different legal nature of these entities who are relative to each other should be noticed. Can animals choose to vary their behaviors or to repeat them, depending on the rewards they earn for behaving variably versus repetitively? To answer this question, pigeons were rewarded for four-response sequences made to left (L) and right (R) disks. A “varied” sequence differed from each of the previous three sequences, and a “repeated” sequence was the same as some one of the previous three. For example, if a pigeon had generated sequences LLLL. LLLR, and LLRR in that order, then an RRRR sequence in the next trial was defined as a variation, whereas LLLL was a repetition. Lattice basis reduction arises from many applications, such as cryptography, communications, GPS and so on. This thesis is concerned with the widely used LLL reduction. We cast it as a QRZ matrix factorization for real bases. Based on the matrix factorization, we first give the real version of the LLL algorithm (the original LLL algorithm is for integer bases). Then we propose three modified algorithms to improve the computational efficiency, while the reduced matrices satisfy the LLL-reduced criteria.
