Abstract Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is the most common form of interstitial lung diseases (ILD), which is characterized by progressive scarring of the lung. While immune suppression is a viable therapeutic option for many ILDs, it is detrimental in IPF. Nevertheless, enlargement of lung-draining lymph nodes (LLN) is prevalent and predicts survival outcomes in all ILD patients, including IPF, suggesting that there is also an immune component to IPF pathogenesis. Vast majority of wireless appliances used in household, industry and medical field share the ISM frequency band. One way of dealing with this is by using frequency hopping; where the device changes its radio channel periodically. Consequently, communications will not suffer from the same interference each time; instead, it should be fairer and more stable. We cast it as a QRZ matrix factorization for real bases. Based on the matrix factorization, we first give the real version of the LLL algorithm (the original LLL algorithm is for integer bases). Then we propose three modified algorithms to improve the computational efficiency, while the reduced matrices satisfy the LLL-reduced criteria. This work presents a robust flowsheet design for the recovery and purification of waste solvent streams containing ethyl acetate (EtAc), methanol (MeOH), and water. Separation of this mixture is challenging due to the presence of two azeotropes: a homogeneous EtAc-MeOH azeotrope and a heterogeneous EtAc-water azeotrope. These azeotropes create a distillation boundary that divides the ternary composition space into two distinct regions, making separation via conventional distillation difficult. Low Power and Lossy Networks (LLNs) is a common type of wireless network in IoT applications. LLN communication patterns usually requires an efficient routing protocol. The IPv6 Routing Protocol for Low-Power and Lossy Network (RPL) is considered to be a possible standard routing protocol for LLNs. However, RPL was developed for static networks and node mobility decreases RPL overall performance. These are the purposes of the Mobility Aware RPL (MARPL), presented in this paper. MARPL provides a mobility detection mechanism based on neighbor variability. Performance evaluation results on the Co

Abstract:
Land and water management approaches that address environmental and social challenges, such as land degradation, food insecurity, water scarcity, health, climate change and the decline in biodiversity, have been gaining importance in recent years. Several of these approaches are well known, while others have been only recently developed. These approaches have different names, specific objectives and principles and may employ different methods and technologies. At their core, however, all have the potential to address land degradation and desertification, to mitigate drought and to deliver many
