Electrical energy has a very important role in national economic growth. With the electrical energy requirements, it is necessary to operate an economical, reliable and quality system. The creation of a template for operating load forecasting for the Java-Bali system uses a coefficient method to calculate weekly loads, daily loads, and loads per ½ hour which is more user friendly. After this Load Forecasting template is applied, the result is a more efficient load deepening in terms of file size and time, and is more effective with the results of the calculation of electric energy (1.71%), ele

Mental representations of target features (attentional templates) control the selection of candidate target objects in visual search. The question where templates are maintained remains controversial. We employed the N2pc component as an electrophysiological marker of template-guided target selection to investigate whether and under which conditions templates are held in visual working memory (vWM). In two experiments, participants memorized one or four shapes (low vs. high vWM load) before either being tested on their memory or performing a visual search task. When targets were defined by one

Branch and bound (BnB) is a general algorithm to solve optimization problems. We present a template implementation of the BnB paradigm. A BnB template is implemented using C++ object oriented paradigm. MPI is used for underlying communications. A paradigm of domain decomposition (data parallelization) is used to construct a parallel algorithm. To obtain a better load balancing, the BnB template has the load balancing module that allows the redistribution of search spaces among the processors at run time. The online dissemination of datasets is becoming common practice within the archaeology domain. Since the legacy database schemas involved are often created on a per-site basis, cross searching or reusing this data remains difficult. Employing an integrating ontology, such as the CIDOC CRM, is one step towards resolving these issues. However, this has tended to require computing specialists with detailed knowledge of the ontologies involved. HIV-2 is much less pathogenic than HIV-1, and infection with HIV-2 leads to significantly lower plasma viral load. To identify the source of this difference, we measured both viral RNA and proviral DNA in matched samples from 34 HIV-2-infected individuals. Nearly half had undetectable viral RNA loads (<100 copies/ml), but levels of proviral DNA were relatively high and confirmed that quantities of provirus in HIV-1 and HIV-2 infection were similar. Abstract Porous media compressed air energy storage (PM-CAES) is an emerging technology that stores compressed air in an underground aquifer during the off-peak periods, to mitigate the mismatch between energy supplies and demands. Thus, PM-CAES involves repeated two-phase fluid flow in porous media, and ensuring the success of PM-CAES requires a better understanding of repetitive two-phase fluid flow through porous media. For this purpose, we previously developed microfluidic channels that retain a two-dimensional (2D) pore network. Because it was found that the geometry of the pore structure
