Abstract:
Whena fault of the distribution network has occurred, it is necessary to pinpointthe type of the fault and its location and to isolation the fault by sectionswitches. It is then the task toattempts to restore service to as many unfaulted sections of the feeder aspossible via the available sources. Torestore feeder sections, the feeder must be bothering least one backup sourcewith sufficient capacity to bear the additional load. A method based on the backup feeder loadbalancing is proposed and software is developed. The service restores software obtains thedistribution operation data from distribution automation system (SCADA) and thefeeder parameters from power grid production management system (GPMS). Then compares that loads with the sparecapacity for backup sources and bring out the service restoration plan for thedispatch staff.

Abstract:
According to the different requests of Web and the heterogeneity of Web server, the paper presents a content-based loadbalancing algorithm. The mechanism of this algorithm is that a corresponding request is allocated to the server with the lowest load according to the degree of effects on the server and a combination of load state of server. Besides, apply a method of random distributing base-probability to assign each request to an appropriate server in terms of their weight. All the parameters that will be used in the algorithm can be acquired by simulated test. Experimental results suggest that this algorithm can balance the load of web server clusters effectively, make full use of the existing source of software and hardware, highly improve the server's performance, and even make the best use of the web server.

Abstract:
Container-based virtualization is very popular among programming development in a lightweight virtualization because where the Linux kernel can divide resource-using containers to prevent uninterrupted performance between And as a burden divider in tackling the many incoming bandwidth. One of the most commonly used container-based virtualization is Docker. Docker itself is an open source software that can be changed to your liking. Docker containers can be used for clustering Web servers. It aims to reduce "a single point of failure" (SPOF) in a Web server. However, arranging a lot of containers is very complicated, but Docker has an engine to set it up called Docker Swarm. With it in the NGINX management help so that it can cause the resource between hosts is not divided on average. Therefore the research aims to distribute Web server traffic across the host with loadbalancing based on time-based monitoring and failover resources. By winning the low resources or resources used by Docker in the operation of an application that can be virtualized only what is needed

Abstract:
Access to the Internet, as well as Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in general, is nowincreasingly needed by the wider community, including by the pesantren community. The community of pesantren needInternet media to expand access to sources of knowledge, publish the activities of pesantren, as well as a medium ofpesantren da’wah in cyberspace. Due to the lack of use of ICT in pesantren, then not all ICT components can be utilized. This community service partner is Pesantren Yasin Kudus, who wants to apply ICT to support learning for students(called santri), by providing smooth and healthy Internet access at affordable cost. The problem faced is Internet accessthat only depends on one Internet Service Provider (ISP), so if the connection on the ISP is failed then Internet accessbecomes disturbed. The solution offered is the use of two ISP connections as an Internet access network, by applying loadbalancing technology using Per Connection Classifier (PCC) method so that loading of traffic on both ISPs can bebalanced. With this program, partners can utilize Internet access from both ISPs optimally

Abstract:
Current low earth orbit (LEO) satellite network display poor powerefficiency, running network devices at full capacity all the time regardless of the traffic matrix and the distribution of the population over the Globe. Mostof the research on energy efficiency of LEO satellites has focused oncomponent level or link level. Therefore, this kind of research is not holisticto try to look at the satellite system as a single node. To enhance the energyefficiency. The solution should exploits multipath routing and loadbalancing. LEO network is overprovisioned, and hence selectively shuttingdown some satellite nodes and links during off-peaks hours seems like agood way to reduce energy consumption. In this paper, we exploit the fact that due to geographical and climatic conditions, some satellite links areexpected to be loaded with data while others remain unused. Our approach is to power down satellite nodes and links during period of low traffic, whileguaranteeing the connectivity and QoS. Finding the optimal solution is NPproblem and therefore, we explore in this work two heuristic algorithms. Weevaluate our heuristics on a realistic LEO topology and real traffic matrices.Simulation results show that the power saving can be significant.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT
The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in collaboration with the Association of Indonesian Internet Service Provider (APJII) recorded a growth rate of Internet users in Indonesia by the end of 2013 had reached 71.19 million people. The increase of Internet users who access the website very significant every day, with a load demand (request) is varied. This causes the performance of a web server be increased. Load balancing is a technique to distribute the traffic load on two or more lines in a balanced connections, so that traffic can run optimally, maximize throughput, minimize response time and avoid overload on one connection line. Now, database is required in order to run fast, have high reliability and availability, the database stored clustering can be divided into multiple machines and at the time the application is running, all the machines that store the data are considered as a single entity.
From this research, author can concludes. First, Load balancing concept can give solutions to build a web server that can handle the request is quite high and quality in order to improve the quality of government services. With the web server load balancer service remains available when one server goes down, the other servers will automatically replace it, so the user can continue to access as if there is no problem on the server. Second, Data Base using clustering method is excellent for loadbalancing in the handling of system failure due to the ability of each machine will be used and if there is one machine that experienced a failure, the system will not be directly disturbed because other machines will still work.

Abstract:
Purpose–This study addresses load balancing algorithms facing challenges in predicting resource usage for load distribution by exploring the incorporation of Pythagorean means (arithmetic, geometric, and harmonic) into regression models to enhance prediction accuracy for CPU, RAM, and bandwidth utilization in cloud environments. Method –Focusing on the Round Robin Scheduling Algorithm, this paper introduces modified simple linear regression (SLR) modelsthat integrate these means. Integrating these in the computation of a trendline function, computing then comparing the residuals on a sample dataset generated in CloudSim, is performed. A K-means model was used for comparison as it too was used in other literature. Results –The findings reveal that incorporatingthe harmonic mean into SLR significantly reducesthemeansquarederror(MSE)inpredictingCPUandbandwidthusage, offeringa more nuanced approach to load balancing. Conclusion –These results highlight the potentialof harmonic mean-based SLR in refining resource prediction algorithms, suggesting an avenue for future research in developing more adaptable and efficient load-balancing strategies in cloud computing. Recommendations –The study can befurther validated in environments outside of CloudSim and further improved by adding the complexity of other measures of central tendency or linear regression methods. Research Implications –The study encouragesfurther exploration into cloud infrastructure optimization, the development of ML-enhanced load-balancing algorithms, and the use of other statistical means in ML. This suggests a broader impact, indicating areas for future research for strategies in load balancing and resource prediction in cloud computingenvironments. Practical Implications –The improved load balancing and usage prediction capabilities could benefit cloud service providers and end-users and lead to more reliable, scalable, and cost-effective solutions. Abstract:
The virtualization of hardware resources like network, memory and storage are included in the core of cloud computing and are provided with the help of Virtual Machines (VM). The issues based on reliability and security reside in its acceptance in the cloud environment during the migration of VMs. VM migration highly enhanced the manageability, performance, and fault tolerance of cloud systems. Here, a set of tasks submitted by various users are arranged in the virtual cloud computing platform by using a set of VMs. Energy efficiency is effectively attained with the help of a loadbalancing strategy and it is a critical issue in the cloud environment. During the migration of VMs, providing high security is a very important task in the cloud environment. To resolve such challenges, an effective method is proposed using an optimal key-based encryption process. The main objective of this research work is to perform the VM migration and derive the multi-objective constraints with the help of hybrid heuristic improvement. The optimal VM migration is achieved by the hybrid algorithm as Improved Binary Battle Royale with Moth-flame Optimization (IBinBRMO). It can also be used to derive the multi-objective functions by some constraints like resource utilization, active servers, makespan, energy consumption, etc. After VM migration, the data transmission should take place securely between the source and destination. To secure the data, the HybridHomophorphic and Advanced Encryption Standard(HH-AES) Algorithm, where IBinBRMO optimizes the key. After optimizing the keys, the data are securely transformed along with multi-objective functions using parameters includingthe degree of modification, hiding failure rate and information preservation rate. Thus, the effectiveness is guaranteed and analyzed with other classical models. Hence, the results illustrate that the proposed work attains better performance.

Abstract:
In this paper, a static distribution compensator (DSTATCOM) is implemented to control a distributed power generation system using a control technique based on the proposed composite observer. The problem of power quality is a phenomenon that manifests itself as a non-standard voltage, current, or frequency that causes a malfunction or malfunction of the end-user's equipment. Public utility distribution networks, sensitive industrial loads and critical business operations suffer from various types of interruptions and outages that can lead to significant financial losses. The proposed control technique is used for extracting fundamental components from deformed load currents. These extracted components are used to estimate the currents of the reference source to generate gate signals from DSTATCOM. The proposed control technique is implemented to reduce reactive power, harmonic distortion and load distribution under linear / non-linear loads. The performances of DSTATCOM are considered satisfactory for these consumption loads with a regulated generator voltage at the common coupling point and a self-supporting DC connection of the DSTATCOM voltage generator.

Abstract:
Although cloud computing offers flexible and scalable computing resources, load balancing and effective task scheduling continue to be major obstacles because of varying workloads and scarce resource availability. Ineffective LB results in longer execution times and higher operating expenses. Metaheuristics-based scheduling solutions are more efficient than traditional scheduling techniques such as Round Robin (RR) and First-Come-First-Served (FCFS), which are unable to adjust to dynamic cloud settings. For virtual machines (VMs) to distribute tasks as efficiently as possible, this study presents the Hybrid LB-ACO-PSO (LBACO-PSO) technique. Initial job allocation is done via LBACO, which uses heuristic considerations and pheromone trails to direct task placement according to resource availability. By prioritizing execution time limits, modifying particle placements using velocity updates, and enhancing overall system performance, SPSO_TCS dynamically improves task scheduling. When compared to standalone ACO, PSO, and traditional scheduling methods, testing results demonstrate that LBACO-PSO improves resource usage, boosts throughput by 20%, and decreases makespan by 25%. The algorithm is implemented in CloudSim. For cloud-based load balancing, the suggested hybrid approach shows notable gains in scalability, adaptability, and performance, making it a viable option for large-scale distributed computing environments.
