Two guide bar warp knitted fabrics are used as technical textile applications nowadays. In this, Part III of these series of papers, models for basic two guide bar warp knitted fabrics are created and given based on Parts I and II. Modeling of warp knitted fabrics started in the 1960s with some basic geometrical models and it was continued with using Non Uniform Basis Spline (NURBS) curves and surfaces. There were discontinuities in the loop parts in early created geometrical models and the NURBS models needed some control points from some sources. In this work instead of using NURBS curves, m

Yarns of warp beams to knit on warp knitting machines need to be wound at equal tensions. The tension variations lead to produce valleys and ridges of warp yarns on the beam and hence different lengths of individual warp yarns. These length variations lead to loop length variations in warp knitted fabrics and may cause defects along the wales. This research aimed at investigating the warp length variations caused by tension variations and its effect on the quality of the fabrics knitted. Tension variations of individual warp yarns on warp beams for warp knitting were examined. 16% of warp yarn

A three phase test plan was developed with the intent of identifying and utilizing this verification torque value which is unique to a given fastener assembly. Current ring laser gyroscopes (RLGs) are limited in sensitivity at low rotational rates by frequency locking. Various approaches have been used to mitigate locking, such as reducing the amount of scattered light from optical elements or mechanically dithering the cavity.1 We have demonstrated a novel RLG by actively mode-locking a pair of 1.3 μm InGaAsP diodes in an external ring cavity to generate counterpropagating 100-ps optical pulses that collide between the diodes away from any potential scatterers.2 Isolating the collision points between the diodes sharply reduces the lockin threshold o
